Speaker 1 (01:07):
By four three two one, Hey, welcome back to Too
Much your Own Doctor Michael Shower, New York Times best
selling author and Colonel Mike and today we welcome back
after a long absence, and there's a lot to talk
about too, Bishop Robberie Smith out there in Little Rock Orchardsa.
You know where that place is, right, It's mid South.

(01:27):
It's when you're looking at the weather channel. Almost every
other day you see storms, tornadoes, tornado watch, storm watch, floodwatch,
I don't know what else you could think about, but
every time I look at the map on the Weather channel,
that's what I see.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
So welcome back Bishop Smith.

Speaker 4 (01:45):
How are you super super super I'm sure.

Speaker 1 (01:49):
And by the way, I want to congratulate Bishop Smith.
Snap boom, he gets on the zoom no problem. We
have people that get on our show. It takes anywhere
from fish fifteenth to thirty minutes. And these people are
really really techy savvy, you know, and it sometimes it
takes an hour to get him on the show, just
press some buttons and saying can we change the format?

Speaker 2 (02:11):
But we want to thank Bishops Smith.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
And by the way, he's doing this on a mobile phone,
so you could you could just imagine how cool this
guy is.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Right, Mike, you haven't even tried a mobile phone yet.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Huh.

Speaker 5 (02:23):
No, I hit a mobile phone, but I just went
back to the flip phone because no, I mean you.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Have to try to zoom on a mobile phone. Oh
I'm not, No, I'm not, That's what I'm saying. See,
Bishops Smith's ahead of the game man and he's.

Speaker 5 (02:35):
Waiting for me to get on. It would have been
about a month.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
Anyway, Welcome back Bishop Smith. So tell us in the hood.
You're in Orkansas. I was just saying, you know what
the weather is, and you've guys had that for the
last month, right, And it's not unusual to have these too,
tornado watches and takedowns within Little Rock, around Little and
you know, on the side of Little Rock. But for

(03:02):
some reason another, the Lord, he's got the hand on
your place where you are in Little Rock.

Speaker 4 (03:09):
We pray for weather that that we can live with.
I remember what tornado came through. We actually saw it
coming in our direction, right, and we stood out on
the porch of our center and rebuked that. When in tornado,

(03:34):
we saw it lift up off the ground and passed
over us. It took maybe one shingle out and it
went to another part of the city, but it lifted
up and went over us. I found out that bad
weather has personality, so we have to deal with They

(03:58):
name it and fear. I guess, sir, they give all
these bad situations names and names. The word name means character,
it means position and authority, so they have personality. Jesus
rebuked the storm and said peace be still. That's right,

(04:21):
So we we can do the same thing if we're
in the right frame of mind.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Well, where was that in the Bible? Where did they
rebuke the storm? You remember what chapter that was?

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Well, in the Gospels, you have several situations when they
thought they were going to drown, and Jesus was asleep
while the water was thrilling the boat. He wasn't worried
about it. So they woke him up and said, don't
you care that we perish? And he got up and

(04:55):
rebuked the storm and come to see and said, oh, yeah,
a little faith. That's right. Mm hm. And so is
that Matthew, Mark and Luke's gospels, those synopt the gospels.
M h m hmm.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
All right, so Bishop, let's go, let's go around the
globe the craziness now, all right, Trump's gonna go meet
with Putin.

Speaker 2 (05:20):
By the way, there's a rumor right now.

Speaker 1 (05:24):
They found a couple of Ukrainian assassins in Alaska.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
By the way.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
I'll get some more information on that later, but somebody
just texted me that this morning. So I guess still
look at to take out both of them. Who knows
you know, one both whatever, So you know, I hope,
I hope the media is successful and God's got to
hint in it. Let's go, let's go around the globe.
So we got the issue maybe of Ukraine comes down now.

(05:52):
You know Ukraine is not Christian friendly. You know that
they closed a lot of churches, right, So in my opinion,
we should have got rid of these guys a long
time ago and save a whole bunch of money, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
Yeah, Well, with the money and with all of the
other immorality factors at his height in that particular place uniquely,
so it's hard to deal with it now. It should
have been dealt with forty fifty years ago. Mm hmm.

(06:30):
So things are getting worse.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
Well, yeah, I think it's going to be even worse
once if they make a piece deal. Who knows how
that's going to work out, right, And then we have
the issue. We have the issue just now yesterday with
Trump in DC. I've been watching the news this morning
where they're going crazy now because you know, he's he's

(06:53):
involving himself with law enforcement, put in the National Guard
in there. Basically, according to one gentleman last night, Lionel Mike,
you know Lionel, right, yes, all right, one gentleman last
night said, you know he's got all the power to
do this. He's the commander, and he can commandeer the
police and the FBI, I mean, the National Guard and everybody,

(07:17):
anybody in law enforcement. He's basically the guy for DC.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
And they're like, you.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Know, oh my gosh, you know, he didn't even consult us.
Of course he did, you know, he was having meetings
with this mayor. But they're saying, well, you know, crime
is down, it's down twenty three percent from twenty twenty three,
which you know was high crime. But you still have
caught jackings, murders, you know, unsafe to be there. And again,

(07:45):
why would they go crazy, you know, why wouldn't they
just be more forthcoming and saying, hey, we appreciate this,
we want to get the cut because they're not the
ones that really get affected, you know, I mean, Bishop,
youre in the hood, the families who lose, the children
going to school, and I remember last year, remember Mike,
late last year, how many kids every every day there

(08:07):
was another shooting outside of school or some kid went
down and murdered in DC, and the parents were screaming, screaming.
In fact, one, I think they laid off one of
the people within the police Department for doctory numbers. So
here comes the President says, look, we got to stop
this crime.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
We got to move the homeless, we got to do
this and.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
That, and the whole country, the whole DC government's and
rage now and they're like this is really not right.
Even CNN's met about this. They're like, what are you doing?

Speaker 2 (08:37):
What do you say to that? Bishop?

Speaker 4 (08:41):
Well, if you don't get the hood taken care of,
the suburbs are knicks mm hm. So you got to
give credence to Trump because if you don't get the
urban community, the suburban community will be adversely affected big time.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Are you familiar with DC with the crime crime rangers,
with these kids getting shot outside of schools, gang bangers
and carjackers. I mean, so it means incredible, it's off
the charts.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
Well, it's it's it's not surprising to me at all.
The time which we live, we're getting close to when
Satan will be kicked out of the heavenlies down to
the earth and limited to the horizonal activity and not
being able to go up and down, up and down.
He'll just be around and well to the inhabitants of

(09:41):
the earth, because the devil has come down to you
having great wraft because he knows what they have but
a short time. So that's the nature of things. The
closer the time comes for the enemy to be cast
out of the heavenlyis down past all the penncipalities down
to planet Earth the south. So that's a precursor that's

(10:03):
going on in DC, and it's worse in some other areas.
Believe me.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
I'm sure Chicago too. Chicago, I'm sure too bigger cities
to Chicago.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
You know.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
They make this fluff about hey, it's really getting good
and it's gentrifying and we're rebuilding.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
But it's impossible.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
I mean, it would take fifty years and miracle miracles
just to get the place back to normal level. Okay,
let's go to AI for a second. What do you
think about with AI?

Speaker 4 (10:35):
Well, I think it's getting close to the conglomeration of
all intelligentsia of humanity down into that one image, and
that image is going to be able to know every
living person on the globe, speak all the languages and

(10:55):
even dialects of the same language, and then be able
to monitor the activity of everybody on the planet. And
I'm telling people in our ministry that you better build
a community that guarantees immunity. The scripture says, where two
or three are gathered together, the Lord says, there, I

(11:17):
am in the midst And the Lord is not in
the midst of a lot of believers, a lot of Christians,
because they're hanging out with the crowd, they're not any
better suited to deal with situations and issues than unbelievers.
So a building community is going to deal with this

(11:40):
artificial intelligence. You know, artificial intelligence started with Satan possessing
the serpent's body and causing that serpent to speak. And
that knowledge of the tree that on that tree of
the knowledge of good and evil, that's artificial. God says,

(12:04):
I don't want you to eat from that tree. It's artificial.
I want you to eat from the tree of life.
That is the truth, that's reality. And everything that comes
from that tree of the knowledge of good and evil
is artificial. It is not direct from God. It's a
mixture of good and evil, and there's no mixture in God.

(12:24):
So I'm telling people, look, keep your hard copy of
your Bible, read hard copies of books. Stop depending on
Ai to do your spelling, to do your articulations. Pray
God heal my brain and renew my mind. Otherwise I'm

(12:46):
going to be swept away in the net. So artificial
intelligence compeace for our brains.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
I think they want to. I think they want to
chip our brains eventually. The way they're going, you know
with these absolutely you know this AI now is in
every facet of the government. They're going to run the
stuff in defense to go run and stuff and all
sorts of things.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Mike, what do you got to say about AIM?

Speaker 5 (13:16):
I think it's it's one of the most enticing evils
that you can imagine, because it saves time, it does
your work for you. It is it really makes you.
It's dependent almost and I don't personally see a way

(13:39):
to stop that. I think it's going to become more
and more important for parents to be able to speak
to their children about its dangers, probably more than they're
doing now in many in many ways, and it will
ruin scholarship. All you have to do is plugging the

(14:00):
question and you get a paperback to submit it. Language
capabilities will be limited because you don't have to have them.
You just have to type them in, type in what
you want and you get it. Right back. It's a
threat to the educational system. It's certainly a threat to
the family and the community. I suppose there are many
upsides to it, but the downsides are so obvious that

(14:26):
and disastrous that I think somehow, either through governmental regulation
or something else, that it has to be stopped, or I.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
Don't think it'll be stopped. He just put in three people.
He just put in three people from Silicon Valley, and
they're not native American like I guess, you know, born
here whatever, but into a kernel level without any military training,
not even boot camp. And they're in a Pentagon because
they want to go to this AI war with the

(14:59):
rest of the A globe and adversaries as well.

Speaker 4 (15:03):
You know, they're going.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
Gung ho, this is pallenteer and anybody else.

Speaker 1 (15:10):
You can you can figure out who's going to be
involved in US who probably darker and everybody you know,
and there's.

Speaker 5 (15:16):
They're they're they're ignoring the warning signs of it, you know,
in the in the sense that if you conduct a
war via that you will end up losing. If the
other side has people who are common sensical and uh
and you know not they have their head screwed on
straight because it's just you. War making is uh a

(15:44):
devilish business, but it's a business of very smart people.
And being smart includes common sense. It doesn't just include
spitting back the answer that the producer of the answer
knows that the questioner wants. If I'm being clear or not,
You're going to keep getting things that answer to what's

(16:07):
a parent in the question that's asked of AI. They'll
get an answer back, as far as I can tell, UH,
it will get an answer back that suits the mindset
of the person who gets it, who asks it, and.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
Sosha, have you been on the computer? Have you been
on the computer?

Speaker 1 (16:26):
And just like ask the question on Google or one
of these browsers, and right now almost everybody comes back
it's I L you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
It's not like it was a month ago.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
Well, oh, I don't do the cheb Okay. I've listened
to some who have MH. But everything that comes from
the computer is a is a conglomeration of information. And

(17:02):
then they give their disclaimer on computer by saying anything
from AI could have error. That's right, yeah, and see
the error is an absence of truth. You might have facts,
you might have good mix with evil. But what is

(17:27):
true is spendable. You can spend the truth. It hook
people and feed them a line of evil that can
do the person that's dependent upon that information a lot
of harm. So I tell you to look, be careful,
be very mindful. Then when you turn your phones and

(17:50):
computers on that you don't lull your brain to sleep
through entertainment.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
And that's that's a big purpose why they got these
phones and these iPads, you know what I mean, the entertainment.
When you think about it, I think most people in
this country will know more about sports, their picture, their
quarterback right than they do about anything that's more necessary

(18:22):
to need to need to know to survive, you know.
And that TikTok is amazing for young people.

Speaker 4 (18:29):
But gosh, I tell people, anything you know better than
you know Christ is your problem.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Oh that's a business card, that's all right.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
I saw on the back of I won't tell you
that the denomination because it's they're very nice people. They
work hard, some of them still use horse and buggies.
But the guy had the most nicest handwriting, like you know,
early George Washington style, you know, And it said it

(19:05):
said working working for God is great. Retirement benefits. Yeah,
meaning when you check out, you're okay. You know, you know,
I thought it was and it was beautiful handwriting. It
was just tremendous handwriting. I really admired that too as well.

Speaker 4 (19:29):
You know. Yeah, there's another T shirt that I'd like
to put together. It's called if you don't like my theology,
he is my philosophy. They're going to ask me what's
your philosophy, and I'll tell him I'd rather be safe
than sorry. I think I on the Lord Jesus Christ, because.

Speaker 1 (19:49):
Well, then you got to put that on the front
and the back right. But what you have to do
is you have to put the.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
Front on right and then on the back say what
is my philosophy. I'd rather be safe than sorry. I
believe in the London Christ.

Speaker 4 (20:02):
That's the back.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Hey, that's a good shirt. Are you gonna make it?

Speaker 4 (20:06):
That's been threatening? Huh, we've been threatening to do it.

Speaker 1 (20:10):
Oh, you should have it started up, you know started.

Speaker 2 (20:15):
That's a great shirt. Home.

Speaker 5 (20:17):
That's a good idea.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
Yeah, that's fantastic. Well, that's good news. Tell us about
the hood. You got good news.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
You're doing some apartments, you're doing some building in the hood.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
You tell Mike what's going on. We spoke before he
come on.

Speaker 4 (20:32):
Well, you know, people that have been around a while said,
this whole community have changed. The street I live on
used to be the main prostitution street in the city.
It was about three box loans. But we got out there,

(20:53):
walked with the prostitutes. This was the gang war zone.
The crips in the Blood a function name in this area.
They were slinging drugs big time is they're doing it,
They're doing it little time. So I was talking to

(21:13):
a guy who worked for the sheriff department for twenty
years and that's about four blocks from where I live.
It's the County jail. And he says, this whole community
have changed. And he was at prayer meeting that we
have every Monday through Friday at six o'clock in the morning.

(21:34):
He was there this morning. He was just raving about
the change that have taken place in the community. And
so what you do. You go into the hood and
you attack the strongholds there wherever the enemy. If it's drugs,
you pray against the drugs, you fast against the drugs,

(21:57):
you preach against the drugs. You take take a weed
or a little pipe, and you put it in a chair,
and you take your loud speaker and you preach to
that little hit. You preach to that pipe. You said,
you're leaving here and you're not coming back. It sounds stupid,

(22:19):
it looks crazy, but actually you're putting your words into action.
Your words produce light or death. Like Solomon said, death
and life are in the power of the tongue, and
they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. So
in the hood we preach against the obvious, that's that's
a negative, and then we preach the positive, which we

(22:43):
want people to be made aware of. And once you
get that stronghold and put it down, then you can
bring all those that were held captive into freedom. The prostitutes,
we brought them into our home. They become a part
of the ministry. One guy who was one of the kingpins,
he told one of our pastors, I need you to

(23:06):
go a certain place my safe. I have a few
hundred thousand dollars there. I'm just tired of it. I
want you to go get it. He said, Well, you're
going to deal with drug money. I said, I sure, am.
I said, Look, the Lord himself said, make to yourself

(23:27):
of the unrighteous, mammon. Friends. So money is unrighteous in itself,
but we as Christians must have laundered that money. So
whatever those drugs were doing to harm people, we're going
to take the money and bring deliverance to the people
that have been harmed.

Speaker 2 (23:44):
Amen.

Speaker 4 (23:45):
So that's what we do in the hood.

Speaker 1 (23:47):
You know, there's another guy who did this years ago.
I remember years ago in New York Bishop there was
a place called I think it was Atlantic Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn,
and I think it was Atlantic and Pacific of ahm.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
I'm not mistaken as a kid that the.

Speaker 1 (24:06):
It was just a place where truck drivers tracked the trailer,
you know, eighteen wheeler kind of guys and eighteen foot
kind of guys would pull up and it'd be prostitutes outside,
you know, like align them.

Speaker 2 (24:17):
You know.

Speaker 1 (24:17):
It's like a bus stop and you just pick what
you like. And this guy came in the neighborhood back then,
I think it was in the early seventies. His name
was I don't know if you know, Jimmy Simbala.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
Jim Oh yeah, that Brooklyn Tabernacle.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
Brooklyn Tabernacle exactly right.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, man.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
They did the same thing. They did the same thing.

Speaker 1 (24:40):
They these guys came in, they had like thirty or
forty members, and I remember they were putting flyers around
that part of town, you know, come to this thing. Well,
you know it was a non denomination like Protestant kind
of thing, non denomination which majority of the people, they
were all Catholics.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
You know, you had a Catholic church every.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
Six feet and I think there was one, maybe two
Episcopalian churches in the area if I'm correct. This is
like Brooklyn, New York, run down ghetto, you know what
I'm saying, Detroit, Chicago ghetto kind of location. And then
he did the same thing, just swifted the neighborhood up.
Real estate values popped, people came back. All those abandoned

(25:20):
buildings were all boarded up, on boarded and rebuilt. And
I bet you if we just looked at the man
and did a what's that thing called zillo, you know
for real estate, If we did a zilo on one
of those addresses around that church, I'll bet you right
now the average home over there is one point five

(25:41):
million dollars. And that was burnout, ghetto prostitute. I mean,
heroin big time big time. Nobody went around that area
was normally you know what I mean, it was either
heroin or a prostitution back then. Yeah, same thing, come in,
you know, in the hand of God. Yeah, Jimmy Symbola.
I think the story was, if I'm correct, he started

(26:03):
with like twenty five thirty people and they became I
don't know, ten twenty thousand membership.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
So did you have to meet with this guy? You
ever meet him?

Speaker 4 (26:13):
Yeah? Okay, bring in the meeting with him?

Speaker 2 (26:16):
Yeah okay. Yeah. You know what he would do.

Speaker 4 (26:22):
When he would preach. You have people in the back
room praying for him all the while he's preaching.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
Oh nice.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
Yeah, that's the key to his preaching being effective. People
are praying while he's preaching a special ansuccessory group.

Speaker 2 (26:46):
Yeah yeah, Mike. Do you ever see that, You ever
see that ancessory group in action?

Speaker 4 (26:53):
I'm not.

Speaker 5 (26:54):
No, I haven't, but I'm a macro snapper, so I
canthulic and those things aren't well nearly as demonstrative as
we should be. I think in that part of it.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
I'm going to give the listeners and you and and
Bishops Smith the little treat Years ago, I was in
the jungle at Burma, and that was with a very nice,
friendly congressman who wanted to go meet these minorities, Christian
minorities that were being burnt. Basically they were you know,
the junta, they were always at war with the ethnic minorities.

(27:29):
And it's like seven different minorities in Burma. So one
of the groups, of which two or three are Christian.
We went to go in the jungle to see them,
and it was like, what was it Easter, I think
Easter Sunday, but it was like the you know, midnight
kind of kind of thing.

Speaker 4 (27:46):
But any we.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
Get in there as this congressman his age who was
a friend of mine, and we go in with the leaders, right,
and he wants to see these people, you know, and
meet with them because he's heard a lot about them.
And these guys were I mean they were killers, you know,
the hunter were killers. They were just when they attacked

(28:10):
the village, they'd rape, burn, kill, burned the little straw
churches they had, and you know, it was really very
you wouldn't want to look at some of the scenes.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
But we go in there and.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
The congressman looks at me because these are like little
gorilla fighters they're thirteen sixteen years old.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
They were high power weapons. So it's Gorilla fighting against
the Hunter of Burma.

Speaker 1 (28:35):
And the congress mates with some of the leaders and
these are long neck people. You might have seen him
on National Geographic with those big brass things on her neck.
And he says, oh, it's great, you know, and he says, well,
are we safe. He looks at me and he goes,
are we safe?

Speaker 2 (28:52):
I said, yeah, it was safe.

Speaker 1 (28:55):
He figured the perimeter was taken care of with the weaponry,
and these young kids. He goes, wow, this so young
as Yeah, well they're they're good at what they do,
you know. And you know, there's a few rockets flying
over and things happening because we're in a hotspot, and
he was more concerned about human safety. And this was

(29:16):
like right before I think Eastern mass or something that mass,
and you.

Speaker 2 (29:22):
Know, he looked a little shooken up. But his aid
was a Marine.

Speaker 1 (29:27):
Major who was a reserved major in the Marines, and
he goes, oh, it's all coolie because he saw the kids,
he saw the weapons.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
You know, then what was all over? He said to me,
he said, I want.

Speaker 1 (29:40):
To meet these guys that you know, were protecting us,
and I took them to these ladies.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
They were in a press circle.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
Bishop, you know what I'm saying, and they were praying
while we were there that nothing would hit where the
area where we are.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
So I took him to meet these ladies and he
looked at me.

Speaker 1 (29:58):
He goes, well, where's the is you know, as the
guys of the weapons as well, these are the people
who were protecting us.

Speaker 2 (30:04):
He's what are you talking about? That said?

Speaker 1 (30:07):
They were praying in a press circle, and his eyes
almost came out of his head as nothing hit us, right,
the rockets went over, everything was okay, right, and he
was like shocked. He was I think it was his
first time ever hearing about people praying for a disessment.
A little shocking for a politician. And one of the guys,

(30:30):
by the way, one of the legislative age was Catholic.
Bike Yeah, and he was I think he was a
Baptist if I'm not mistaken, but he never knew that.

Speaker 2 (30:41):
And that was the protection we had, believe it or not,
in the jungle.

Speaker 5 (30:45):
M Yeah, as far as our church goes, you know,
it's really they had it since they removed the pope
that followed John Paul. Our church has been in I
think a rapid decline. Even the new pope says good

(31:05):
things and then appoints people who really have very little
respect or use for the Bible or the theology of
the Church. So it's a very sad time to be
a Catholic. And you see it, at least in our
little parish here. You see fewer people at services sometimes

(31:31):
on the weekend, very few at Mass during the day
if there is a if there even if there is
a mass, So it's it's it's been a tough time
and there's no one that's going to help us accept ourselves.
And but we've just this, this idea of the pope

(31:51):
has just become so destructive within the church that I
don't know how it survives in the long run.

Speaker 2 (31:57):
Well, you just got to get more past us from Africa,
like you got out.

Speaker 5 (32:00):
Oh he's a fireball, the guy we have right now is.
But I think that the whole milieu in which Catholicism
exists at the moment is so negative and confusing and

(32:23):
ungodly in many ways that it really discourages people. Notwithstanding
the really good priest we have at the moment, really
common sense as you said, a black man from Africa.
We just celebrated his forty eighth anniversary as a priest.
So he learned, he learned to learn the trade, if
you can say it that way, at a much different time,

(32:44):
in a much more positive time for the church. But
that's enough of my complaining. But it's it's it's the
same thing to watch in my old age.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
How old are you? That's not old, Mike. That's what
they what do they call that? Wisdom? Yes?

Speaker 4 (32:59):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (33:00):
What does the Bible say about wisdom? The Gray Harris wisdom? Right,
Bishop Smith?

Speaker 4 (33:05):
The Harvey head is a crown of glory if found
in the way of righteousness, that's right. M hm.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
That they don't preach that in the Catholic Church, I
can tell you that.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
They don't. They skip over that one. They go right
to the what.

Speaker 1 (33:23):
Is it called the Yeah, I was just good to say,
but I didn't want to say it that way.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
They're going to go right to the baskets. I was
going to say, the basket bike. Right.

Speaker 5 (33:35):
Look at and look at all these Catholic and uh
Protestant and Jewish relief organizations. We're all involved in helping
illegal immigrants and to move children into this country for trafficking. Now,
why aren't they being punished. They will be punished obviously
at some point, but I mean not they're not being

(33:58):
public punished because according to the law, it doesn't even
look like a like a priority for this administration.

Speaker 1 (34:07):
Oh, it was billions of dollars they gave away, Bishop Smith.
What would what would happen to the real church in
America if they just gave ten percent of what they
threw out there, you know, to fly people in and
get them across the border and house them and give
them snap cards and all the goodies. I mean if
the government, Now, remember you come from the Church of

(34:29):
you don't know Pharaoh, you got it.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
I understand that. But can you imagine if Pharaoh gave
ten percent, right.

Speaker 4 (34:40):
Well, you would hope that he would give it to
the living church, right Yeah.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
I mean they gave billions and billions of dollars of
tax payer money away, and you know, and I think
in a way, I think a lot of this stuff
was not just set up to to bring in a
whole bunch of people for jobs, but I think for
more like crime and destruction.

Speaker 2 (35:06):
But I think also the churches took advantage of it
to build up the flock.

Speaker 5 (35:12):
I think, well, I think criminal advantage of it. Yeah,
they knew what they were doing, Colonel. I think they
know they were trafficking and young children and drug traffickers
and people who didn't wanted to do harm to our country,
and they didn't care. There was no religious thought in
their mind. It was purely greed and grift at least

(35:37):
that's what it seems to me. Who am I to judge,
but I mean, and then the bishop, the Catholic bishops
have the nerve to come out and demand the money
that they were getting for purposes no one knows. They've
got a lot of well it's not courage, but it's
a lot of brass.

Speaker 2 (36:03):
Yeah. Okay, mister Smith, your turn, go ahead, Sir. Oh
I think he I think he's tied up a second, okay.

Speaker 4 (36:13):
Yeah, I'm.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (36:17):
So what's going on in the moment as we speak?

Speaker 2 (36:22):
Well, I think I thank you for you, right.

Speaker 5 (36:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
I thought maybe by the time I got this busy,
i'd be a billionaire.

Speaker 2 (36:35):
Yeah, but you got a billionaire. You have a billionaire
without the funding. You're a billionaire without the funding, that's all.

Speaker 5 (36:46):
Yeah, that work never stops. Mm hmm.

Speaker 4 (36:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (36:53):
Better to be working till you till you die than
laying around with a lot of money and that doing
your doing much with it. You happen to be getting
to be wary headed, as you said. And you also
work your devil, the work to the death to get
to take care of your people and to get more

(37:13):
into the into the field of the Lord. So you
are a very fortunate man in that and that in
that way, sir, and we're always very proud to have
you on the show.

Speaker 4 (37:29):
Amen. Well, I tell people, look, if you pray, you
can stay. If you're fast, you will ass it's a
muss with us. We had at least about fifty people
in a six am per meeting this morning.

Speaker 2 (37:42):
M hmm. By the way, how's the how's the growth?
You have people still moving down there from different.

Speaker 4 (37:48):
Parts exactly, that's exactly. You've had a family Sunday from
from the East coast. They wanted to move. He's he's
all around tradesman. Plus he's a a therapist. I said, well, okay,

(38:16):
it's an asset to the community. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:20):
Is he a physical therapist or mental therapist?

Speaker 4 (38:23):
Physical?

Speaker 2 (38:24):
Oh okay, that's really for therapists.

Speaker 4 (38:27):
Uh, we try to prepare pastors to be mental therapists.
And I'll tell you what's happening. Satan is working on
the heads or the brains or the minds of young men.
He's trying to take their sobriety away, take whatever commons

(38:50):
since they have, away and getting them in places where
they're getting psychled ward to get those shots, get on medicines,
become addicted to across the counter met drugs. That's what

(39:11):
we're praying against. That's what we're fighting against.

Speaker 5 (39:15):
Now.

Speaker 4 (39:15):
I had a couple of calls so far as we've
been talking with what we're talking about. Yeah, there's one
young man now, he he got together with some other

(39:37):
young guys and they got into a crash. He heard himself,
this sued. He won almost three hundred thousand dollars and
now he's so messed up in his head as well
as his body. He wants that money to do any
and everything, and we're trying to help him keep him

(40:02):
from getting in more trouble. So we bring people like
that into our homes. So we've been ministered to them
twenty four to seven. As a matter of fact, we
have my mother in law now she failed broke a
hip a couple of years ago. She's not been able

(40:23):
to walk. We're taking care of her here in the home.
And then we have a ninety two year old mother
who fell in her home and broke her hip and
had to have operation, so we brought her into our home.
She sold her home and now we're building renovating one
of our buildings on campus to put her in there,
so nursing her back to health. So whether you're eight

(40:47):
to eighty, blind, crippled, crazy, we're here and the good
to do some good, to build community for humunity. And
it's just a fight, and you got to be on
your knees before you get on your feet to get
it done right.

Speaker 2 (41:01):
And what's the next conference?

Speaker 4 (41:03):
October September October fifteenth, sixteenth, and seventeenth.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
You tell the audience a little bit about that our listeners.

Speaker 4 (41:10):
Yeah, our theme this year for our overcomers confidence that
we've had for over forty years. The theme is Jesus Christ, Love,
learn and win Him. Love, learn and win Him. You'd
be surprised of the believers that we believe in. Jesus
Christ died on the cross, buried and resurrected but don't

(41:34):
know him personally. If they had to get him for
fifteen minutes and talk about him, they'll run out in
five minutes. So we have to love him, learning and
then turn around and win him. We have him as
a gift, now we need to win him as a prize.
That's our theme this year Overcomers Conference. People come in
from Africa, Asia, Europe, Canada and around the US and

(42:00):
we have a powerful three days and three nights of meetings.

Speaker 2 (42:06):
Oh nice, you got a local hotel you fill up?

Speaker 4 (42:10):
Yeah, and plus we make room on that campus. People
have already booked the whole campus already.

Speaker 2 (42:16):
Nice.

Speaker 5 (42:17):
Nice going back to Africa this year. To me, I
remember one time we spoke to you, either from there
or after you just got back, and it sounded like
a fascinating time you had.

Speaker 4 (42:28):
Well, they're waiting on man, need to go. The last
time we talked, I think I was in Malawi.

Speaker 2 (42:34):
Yes, yes, Malawi, that's right.

Speaker 4 (42:36):
I need to get to South Africa because some things
are happening over there as we speak. That's pretty serious. Yes,
the church has to get ready for it.

Speaker 1 (42:52):
But we have we have African uh pastors and preachers
coming into America. I mean, I've seen a lot more
people from Africa around Maryland and Virginia and I've ever
seen before in the last couple of years. M hm, Well,
I guess they're going to come here and be missionary
to us.

Speaker 4 (43:13):
Well, we had one brother, Mayor Mentioning before. He's from Rwanda.
He was in the military there. He left there and
went to the Netherlands. He ended up in a refugee
colony for two years. He learned the Dutch language, studied law,
and became a lawyer in the Netherlands. And when COVID hit,

(43:36):
he sued the government to make sure his family did
not have to wear a mask, and he won. He
sent the whole case in Dutch to me. So he's
moving here, he and his family. I'm moving here and
be on full time staff with us. So they're coming.

(43:57):
And I guarantee is when I eat, you eat. We
don't guarantee salaries or anything. You got to come here
and believe God.

Speaker 2 (44:07):
Amen. That's beautiful.

Speaker 1 (44:12):
Well, one more thing before we close. I want to
just say this because you and I chat a lot.
Mike doesn't get him get in on it, but you
know you always send out a beautiful message every Thursday
by text. And you know we speak from time to
time with chats from time to time. What is this
we always talk about this ship. It is the overcomer

(44:33):
in the end, it's the overcomer.

Speaker 2 (44:36):
Correct. No matter what record, people ain't got that. People
don't get it.

Speaker 1 (44:42):
You could be all juiced up and think you're Christian, Catholic, Protestant, whatever.
But unless you are an overcomer, you're not overcoming.

Speaker 2 (44:51):
That's it. That's a great that's a great name for
the conference.

Speaker 4 (44:56):
Yeah, Overcomers Conference. I got that from a brother named
Watchman Me. You ever heard of him?

Speaker 2 (45:05):
I heard the name. But where's he from? Korea?

Speaker 4 (45:07):
Well, he was born and raised in China.

Speaker 2 (45:10):
Okay, China, and yeah, back in the day.

Speaker 4 (45:13):
And he was arrested when Melchie Dung took over in China,
and they arrested him and put him in prison, gave
me a fifteen year sentence and after fifteen years he
was too strong. They kept him in there another five
years and he died in prison. Wow. But he was

(45:34):
a great man of God. And I've read he was
a writer.

Speaker 2 (45:43):
Okay, yeah, I get that.

Speaker 4 (45:47):
Yeah, And I would recommend his materials any of watching
these materials will put a rocket in your pocket and
some pepping your steps.

Speaker 2 (45:57):
What is his last name? How do you spell it?

Speaker 1 (46:00):
N ee okay, watch manie okay. I heard it years ago,
years and years ago.

Speaker 4 (46:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (46:09):
Well, thank you, yeah hey, thank you for coming back
on to two mics, and you'll come back on before
you do the overcomers again.

Speaker 4 (46:18):
Right amen, absolutely positively and dublably, unhesitatingly.

Speaker 2 (46:23):
And get the shirt made. Sure, get the shirt. Get
this sht. It's a way to it's a winna. God
bless your brother, take care, Thank you.

Speaker 4 (46:33):
All right, God bless you now. All right
