Dave's story begins in 1954 at Queen of Angels Hospital in Hollywood, California, where he was born to a single mother. At the tender age of 5, he faced a significant turning point when he was adopted by his Aunt and Uncle on his mother's side. However, life took a challenging turn when, at the age of 11, Dave's adoptive parents revealed that they were not his biological parents.

This revelation marked the beginning of a tumultuous phase in Dave's life, as both his adoptive parents started struggling with alcoholism later that year. Trapped in a difficult environment, young Dave found solace in alcohol and, by the time he turned 14, he was already experimenting with hard drugs. The grip of addiction tightened around him, and his life seemed to be spiraling out of control.

In June 1988, Dave took a significant step towards reclaiming his life when he decided to join a support group. The journey to recovery was challenging, but it also opened the doors to a whole new world for Dave – the personal development industry.

Dave's life took a transformative turn when he attended a life-changing seminar with the renowned Tony Robbins in 1995. During this event, he experienced his first firewalk, an event that left a lasting impact on his life. This encounter ignited a passion within him, and he embarked on a path that eventually led him to work with Tony Robbins for nearly two decades, serving as Tony's Firewalk Captain. The experience he gained during his tenure with the Anthony Robbins Companies was invaluable and laid the foundation for his future endeavors.

After a successful career with Tony Robbins, Dave decided to retire in 2014. His next venture, Firewalk Productions, LLC, was born, allowing him to share his expertise and passion for firewalking with a broader audience.

Despite the heights of success Dave has achieved, he remains grounded and calls the serene Appalachian Mountains in Ashe County, North Carolina, his home. Through his resilience, determination, and dedication to helping others, Dave has become an inspiration to many who seek transformation and personal growth.
