Han er født med den sjeldne sykdommen Gallegangsaresi.
Bastian var fra ung alder mye inn og ut av sykehus og har i tillegg hvert så heldig å motta organdonasjon.
Han var fast bestemt på å skape et aktivt og meningfylt liv. Han kom seg opp av sykesengen og ble mer og mer aktiv. Nå jobbber han som personlig trener, foredragsholder og turleder.
En meget inspirerende episode for å forstå eller bli inspirert til å finne små gleder og mestringer til tross for utfordringer.
