Gwen Jorgensen, professional marathoner and Gold Medalist in the triathlon at the 2016 Rio Olympics, as well as 17-time ITU World Triathlon Series Winner, shares her journey in sports. She takes us through being a two-sport athlete in running and swimming at the University of Wisconsin, and how this shaped her into the athlete she is today. Gwen shares the importance of taking care of your body, physically and mentally in order to have longevity in the sport. She takes us through how she handles pain during races and how she builds her mental strength in training. Gwen emphasizes the importance of focusing on what you can control and having self-confidence.
