the money making marketing backto school theories. Making sure
that you are in a really goodmindset is key like truly,

truly, truly. And your realitycould be just the same. But
you're choosing to respond to itdifferently, right? Like, we
can't always control everythingthat's happening. But we can
always control our energy, ourresponse, our perspective on
everything. And again, we holdall the power this car, I don't

know what you're doing. I'massuming they're going straight
on. I really is like a full moonhere, as I'm recording. So now
here, I'm going to kind of throwyou for a curveball or a
potential curveball. So it'skind of like a mindfuck in a

way, because you can't just domarketing to make money. Because
it starts to get the energystarts to get really wonky.
Because like I said yesterday onthe on the show, you start to
put all of your worth in it andyour validation. And you're like
measuring all of your successbased on the sale, right? But

here's the little bit of amindfuck I absolutely want you
making money, right? Andtherefore in order to make money
we've got to have offers. So howcan we really make this not a
mindfuck is embracing that youdeserve, you are worthy of

making money with your offers,and doing it in a way that feels
good to you marketing on line,and also truly enjoying the
process. Because when you enjoythe process, and like you're
creating content, to serve, toinspire to educate, and you're

just again, you're vibing sohigh through the process, then
the sales become the icing onthe cake and not the whole cake.
So you start to measure more ofyour validation, right that
instant gratification in yourfeelings around it because you

could and this has happened tome so many times. I've done a
Facebook Live, and I am justlike, spur speaking from the
soul, like shocking myself noteven sure where everything's
coming from. And do I absolutelymake a call to action apps, the
fucking Loli right? Call toAction and the tation make an

offer it all means the samething. It all it all leads to a
potential client, customerstudent excetera. Right. And if
we don't make that, thatinvitation make that offer. It
truly is doing someone else adisservice. Like if you think
about all the products andprograms and events and people

that have completely like blessyour life. Even if you didn't
know it, they were making anoffer, right? They were inviting
you. They were having you gothrough a customer journey. And
of course you can do it in avery fun, playful, ethical way.
And also we still get to do it.
So how we start to like reallyget out of the mindfuck is
enjoying the process. becausethen after you're done with

that, like Facebook Live or thatstory or that real or that just
like juicy post, you do getinstant gratification, not by
anyone else, but by you. Right?
But you enjoying it right? Andfeeling so proud. And putting in

(05:21):
your best effort. And taking upmore space, right? becoming more
confident, and practicing yourcraft, right? Like, there is so
much before the money exchangethat truly is so rich, and so
rewarding and so amazing thatthen when the do when the do

when the when the sales do comein, you're just like, oh my
gosh, that's so awesome. Like,yay, like, just an added bonus.
And it's not, oh my gosh, I'mforcing myself to do rails, I'm
forcing myself to do stories I'mmaking offers, because, you
know, Nellie said I had to and Ihate this whole process. And I
don't like if this doesn't work,then I'm gonna be homeless,

right? Like, I'm not gonna beable to pay my mortgage, right?
There's just so much Yuck, somuch pressure, so much icky
energy around the whole freakingprocess, that then you do
really, truly start to go alittle cray cray, because it's
so wacky. And the onlyvalidation that you're banking
on is the sales. So if theydon't happen, you start to go a

little, little cray cray, right?
So that's why the mindset pieceof this is so critical. And
check in with yourself, right?
Like you are human, I'm notgoing to pretend that like, oh
my gosh, I just listened to thisone podcast episode and I'm
cured, right. But my goal hereis to bring more awareness to

(06:51):
it. So that way you can dosomething about it and continue
to do something about it. Thisgets to feel good 100% of the
time, and it still does feelgood 100% of the time, even if
you have moments where you'relike, oh, this doesn't feel
good, because you're socommitted to choosing again, so
quickly that it still feelsgood, right? 100% of the time,

(07:16):
it's when we don't listen tothat. And we continue to spiral
and continue to only weigh thesuccess on the sale, and sales,
that it just doesn't feel great.
And then we It just is it's arecipe for disaster. So now that
we're feeling really good, andwe're gonna continue to check in

(07:37):
with ourselves, and make it feelso good. And like one question
to always ask yourself, is howcan this feel good, like what
would feel good to me. And ofcourse, we'll keep we'll
continue to keep talking aboutthat throughout this series. But
like, that's one of my favoritequestions. Also, like, sometimes
you do have to, like, playaround and experiment to see

what you do enjoy. So you maynot be a real person. And that's
okay, you can still make all themoney you desire, without doing
rails. If you're not about thestories after you've tried them
a couple of times, then let'stry something else. Right? Like,
there are plenty of people thatonly do Facebook lives and make
a shit ton of money. There'ssome people that are exclusively

(08:20):
on Instagram, and make a ton ofmoney. So like, you can design
this in a way that truly doesalign with your time, your
energy, your personality, yourcreativity, everything. It is
possible. So I do want to talkabout offers today because
without an offer, it's almostimpossible to make money on the

(08:43):
internet, right? Like, you juststart to become the person that
is going viral or is gettinglots of views and comments and
likes. But that doesn't likeequate to your, your, your bank
account, right? Like when we'reworking with our VIP clients. I
really don't worry about thosethings because they're not what

(09:05):
are going to impact my clientsbottom line, like, can it be
helpful? Absolutely. But again,it's not the end all be all and
a lot of times when we're justfocused on getting lots of
views, then it becomes lessabout the message and then we're
attracting people that are notpotential buyers, right. Like

I've had several posts where itmay get a couple of likes and a
couple of comments and I've made$30,000 Like I'm not even joking
like and that hasn't like that'shappened multiple times
different like differentnumbers, but like that was one
of my highest ones and it was sopowerful and I almost didn't

(09:50):
post it right. So when it comesto making offers, this is
critical before we like put aton a ton Have time and energy
into your marketing like,obviously, yes, you can start to
get your name out there start tobuild relationships, I do
believe that is powerful. Andalso, we want to prioritize a
money making offer for you thatfeels really good and serve

(10:17):
certain population, because thenyour marketing really does get
to revolve around the offer.
Right? If you have somethingthat you're offering to college
students versus somebody that'soffering something to moms, your
offers look completelydifferent. So therefore your
audiences look completelydifferent. And therefore, your

(10:40):
marketing looks completelydifferent. So it is important,
before we invest a ton of timeand energy, and resources into
the marketing side that we'relike crystal clear on like,
we've got one, at least onesuper solid offer that feels in

(11:01):
alignment with your time, yourenergy, your knowledge, your
bandwidth, everything like ithas to be, it gets to be full
freaking alignment. And mostimportantly, what I work on with
my clients is sell somethingthat will quickly and easily get
you to your your goal, right. Soif you are working on leaving

(11:23):
your job, if you are working onpaying off debt, if you are
saving for a big trip, or youwant to pay for your kids,
tuition, whatever it may be, wedo want to make this emotional
in the sense of understandinglike what is the financial
priority for you? Well, at leastover the next six months,

(11:44):
because I if you had a big goalof like, let's say,
leaving your day job, the offerI'm going to suggest for you
looks way different thansomebody that's like, Yeah, I'm
a stay at home mom, and I justwant to like earn some extra
cash on the side to to have somefun money, right? Both are still

(12:05):
very amazing. But again, lookvery, very different. And so we
just want to make sure we'retaking the time to really
understand your needs, yourwants, your desires, how that
fits in with an offer thataligns with your time, your
skills and your resources. Andyour, your energetic bandwidth

(12:29):
and your values, right? Like,this is what I work on with
clients. So if you're like thisis overwhelming, happy to help.
Because it is overwhelming, itcan be overwhelming. And it does
matter. Like this is notsomething I would want you to
like, just cross your fingersand hope and pray and like not
have any strategy involved inthis. Like this is probably one

(12:53):
of the most important decisionslike can we change it? Yes. But
every time we change it, we aretaking a few steps back because
there's more deliverables, maybethe audience is a little bit
different, the marketing is alittle bit different. So I would
much rather you go a little bitslower, if you will, to really

(13:13):
get this feeling amazing. Youcan pre sell things, I do have
some thoughts around that. Sopre selling is tricky because we
live in such an instantgratification world, that when

(13:33):
people buy something, they likeit, they're gonna buy it, and
it's pre sold. Meaning theydon't get anything when they put
money down. They typically dowant a really, really juicy
deal. Right? Like, so if youhave this amazing course idea,

(13:54):
for example, but you don't wantto record all of it, I do
understand that and you want topre sell it. Typically, I
suggest to clients like okay,let's like get 10 people in
there, like 50% off, you getsome cash up front, you get
feedback, you get testimonials,it can be a strategy now this is

(14:16):
the thing that I will tell youthat I wish somebody would have
told me and that's like my wholegoal on my podcast is to like
really like share my voice. Myexperience my everything is when
you pre sell something besidestrips like if you if you're

(14:39):
selling like a retreat, I thinkthat that's a little bit of a
different category becauseobviously there's always going
to be a delay or an event. Thereare like certain strategies
where you could like maybe likethe trip is the end result or
the end thing but they getsomething else before the trip
to like Again, like tap intothat instant gratification that

(15:02):
so many people really do desirebased on the world that we live
in. It's just, it is what it is.
And we can use it to ouradvantage. So the thing that I
want to tell you is when we presell like a course, or a group
coaching program, or a book, or,or anything else, based on my
experience, I have been sofucking stressed. So under

(15:27):
pressure, so exhausted that whenyou are a creator, that is the
worst energy to be in, right, Ihave actually enjoyed more,
where I am talking aboutsomething. So I'm kind of pre
selling it, I'm pre, I'm preselling it without getting

(15:48):
financial commitments. But I'mbuilding hype, I'm building
excitement. I'm made even likeget people on a waitlist. But
when there's like financialbinding happening, I just saw,
it's a lot. It's overwhelming.

(16:09):
It doesn't feel the greatest.
And then I have sold somethingwhere it's the complete opposite
where it's like, okay, I tookthe time to, you know, get it
all organized and systematizedwhich again, doesn't always
align with your financial goals.
So we do want to make sure likeI, when I've done this, I've had

(16:31):
other revenue coming in. So Ihave the the freedom to do that
a little bit. So, we do want tomake sure whatever we decide
from an offer standpoint, likeit does make sense for you.
Because if you do, like, needmoney quicker, it may not make
sense for you to wait, right? Sowe do want to like see like, Is

(16:54):
there something you alreadyhave, like I always love going
with, is there something wealready have that we can either
like, tweak or modify reallyquickly, or you feel like it's
already in a good spot. And likelet's start there. And that
aligns with your, your goals andyour priorities and all the
things in between. and, or whenyou are selling like one on one

(17:17):
spots to something, whether itbe like a VIP day or a coaching
package. That is like probablywhat I would suggest to most
people is something like one onone that doesn't need a lot of
prep work. Because you can go sofast, it's kind of like the best
of both worlds. Once you have itmapped out, you've picked the

(17:38):
price, you've picked thecadence, maybe you do a few like
onboarding things before youlaunch. It doesn't take you a
lot of time. And the the coolpart is, the minute that that
person on social media that islike vibing with you is like I'm
in Let's go, they canimmediately get started. Versus

(18:00):
if it's a group program or acourse and they've got to wait
for other people, it can justkind of like it can rock the
Mojo a little bit for everyone.
So I typically do advise andevery situation is so unique and
different, which is why youknow, you coming in as a VIP
client, if you really like needthat support and that feedback

(18:23):
and that customization can belife changing, because every
business and every businessowner is so different. So like,
I'm always giving you examplesand like generalizing
everything, but just like,again, please know that like,
every, every business, and everybusiness owner is just so
different and unique. Andthat's, that's the beauty of

(18:45):
like getting on a call with meis like let's figure this out.
So, with that offer, we want tojust sit with it and get really
clear on it. I always tell myclients, you've got to drink
your own Kool Aid first, like,you've got to look at this offer
tangibly, or, you know if it'smore service based or you're pre

(19:07):
selling something but like,energetically or tangibly or
both. You've got to look at thisoffer and be like, holy shit.
This is like the bombfreaking.com I love this. This
is going to change lives. Again,just like enjoying your
marketing. You got to be excitedto sell the thing. And the price
point gets to feel really goodto write. It takes just as much

(19:31):
energy to sell something that's$10 versus $10,000 and you would
be surprised I actually havebetter luck selling high ticket
versus low ticket it's it's sointeresting to me.
And so we just want to drink ourown Kool Aid first and get so
freakin excited and pumped upbecause that will speak volumes

(19:56):
in your marketing that no Whoa,amount of VIP done for you.
Marketing can ever, like change,because you're the one that's
going to be on the sales calls,you're the one that's going to
be in the DMS, right? Like, yougot to be so, so freaking
excited about this. And it can'tjust be about the money again,

(20:18):
like, we're not going on socialto market just for the money.
And the offer can't just beabout the money, like, I was on
a client call a couple days ago,and I was just like, beaming, I
was so like, a electric. Like, Icouldn't I can't even describe
the feeling I had, like, I couldhear her breakthroughs. We were

(20:38):
co creating, we werebrainstorming, it was just like,
a bomb session. And like thathappens all day, every day in my
world. And I freaking love it.
It's like the biggest blessing.
And again, like the icing on thecake that I happen to get paid
for it, because that means I cando it more. Right. And like that
was a big money block that I hadto work through a while ago of

(21:01):
like, I get to get paid for thisbecause I am giving so much of
my time and my energy and my myknowledge and my network and
everything in between. Thateveryone's winning, right? Like,
I am not robbing anyone, right?
Everyone is choosing to be hereand create their experience. And
I'm right there with them. Okay,so we really want to go through

(21:24):
this series and get super, superclear on what is that one offer?
Of course, yes, I'm suredepending on where you're at,
you may have multiple offers.
But for this day, for this week,for this quarter, what is the
main offer, and the beautifulpart is when you're selling

(21:46):
something, other people, they'resmart, right? Like, they're
gonna be like, hey, I reallyliked this, but I really need
something else. And so don't beworried that oh my gosh, I don't
want to pigeonhole myself.
Because the right humans willalways message you. And we can
always make them something superspecial that maybe is not
included if they need somethingelse, or we can bundle them

(22:09):
something together. So please,please, please don't have the
fear of like, oh my gosh, if Ionly pick one offer, then like
I'm not going to be able to helpeveryone or any, we get to work
through that fear. So let's sumall of this up and give you
homework because this is back toschool, right? And this is fun

(22:30):
homework, right? So I reallywant you to decide what that
offer is and get it to the pointwhere you're like, I am so
fucking excited Nellie like, theprice feels good. The actual
like offer and the deliverablesfeel so juicy. It feels like
it's really going to transformsome lives and really create a

(22:51):
result for somebody. Itcompletely maximizes my time and
my my energy and my resourceslike again, I want you coming

Drinking your kool aid youroffer Kool Aid more than you

everything that you've beendoing out the window and start
over, let's do that if we needto tweak or modify something or
