Enjoy.
Juicy, it's juicy, it's juicy.
It's juicy today. Oh mygoodness, I just love that word
juicy. doesn't just sound goodwhen you say like, Oh, I've got
something juicy for you. Ireally do. So we have a bomb ass
(01:36):
mindset around marketing andmaking money and using marketing
obviously as the vehicle andsocial media as the vehicle to
make that happen. And we havesuch a amazing offer that we
drink our own kool aid on andwe're like, oh my gosh, Nelly,
(01:58):
this is the past, like, Ialready started talking about
it. Because I'm so in love withit. Like I'm in that much love
with it, right? Because likewhen you're in love, like, think
about a time in your life thatyou were like madly in love with
another human. You couldn't waitto talk to them. Right? You
couldn't wait to see them. Youthought about them when you
(02:20):
didn't see them or weren'ttalking to them. Right? Like,
it's just a whole vibe. Andthat's really what we want.
Because somebody feels that, like, you don't even have to say
anything, somebody feels it. Andof course, like your skill set
matters, your expertise matters.
(02:43):
Like we want to make sure thatyou're feeling good. And like
the vibe is just so important toso it's like it's a both and for
sure. So now we're really goingto get into like the nuts and
bolts of marketing today. And nomatter if you're like new to
marketing or not new tomarketing, I think that this is
still beneficial because we canknow stuff all day long, right?
(03:07):
Like, we all know to like gethealthy, but at times we don't
listen. So depending on whereyou're at, in your education
journey, I think it's reallyimportant to be like, okay, am I
learning more? Or is it liketime to be consistent and really
(03:27):
hold myself to a marketingcadence, a marketing routine.
Because consistency meanssomething different for every
person. But at the end of theday, consistency means doing
something more than you're notdoing it and sticking with it.
Right? This is not about beingperfect. You do not have to post
(03:50):
800 times a day, if that doesnot feel good to you, right?
I've had days where I'm like, just in such a vibe and I had
stuff scheduled, but then I likehad spontaneous things that I
wanted to say. And I didn't wantto wait like I wanted them to be
out in the world for whateverreason. So I want this to feel
sustainable to you. So with thatbeing said, I do want you to
(04:14):
decide, okay, what platformmakes sense for you to go all in
with your marketing on based onyour offer. And also based on
where you're most comfortableat, maybe you have the most
engagement or the largestaudience or the hottest
audience. I am much deeper onFacebook than Instagram. And so
(04:38):
it is a leading piece of mystrategy, because it's one I
love. I'm just I'm I'm on I'm anold soul. I really enjoy
Facebook more like I'm the oldsoul. And I there is a vibe of
who I work with and they're thesame way. But I am on the other
platforms and we repurposethings But most of my time is
(05:04):
really spent on Facebook. Sothat's what has felt good to me.
I post whether it's scheduled orlike spontaneous multiple times
a day. On Facebook, I like tohave variety of stories and
reels, and live videos andFacebook backgrounds. And you'll
(05:25):
see me with brand photos, andthen me with no makeup like I
really do love. And it'simportant to me to have
different modalities on thatplatform and also show different
pieces and parts of me. Sothat's really what we want to
understand today is like, whatis the platform that makes sense
and aligns with you and youroffer? And where you're most
(05:47):
comfortable with? And then alsothe Keydets. What can you commit
to, in this season of life, andI do also want you to make sure
we're weighing the, the actualgoal, right? Like if you have a
$50,000 goal for Q, Q, whatever,whether it's q4 or a different
(06:07):
time that you're listening, youreffort gets to look different
than somebody that wants amillion dollar goal or $500.
Right. So we do want to takethat into consideration. It
doesn't mean more equals more, but we do want to have more like
intention, more focus, morestrategy, the bigger the goal,
(06:30):
right? It also we want to have avery juicy there's the word
juicy again, right? Juicy, hotaudience because if your goal is
a million dollars, and no oneknows you on the platform that
you're spending a lot of yourtime and energy on, it's gonna
feel like you're swimmingupstream. Like again, we get to
(06:52):
make this so freakin easy, right? And feel so freakin good.
So we want to just like take allof those things into
consideration really make somedecisions. A lot of times you're
gonna hear me say that it's likedecision day, it's time like we
get to make some decisions, getsome parameters in place. I my
vibe is I love to have like abaseline scheduled out. And I
(07:17):
have a money making marketingmasterclass where I go into what
types of content so I am goingto reserve and invite you to
that it like you it's an ondemand masterclass, you can pay
for it. super affordable. But Igo very deep into like different
types of content, how weactually like make those pieces
(07:38):
of content really help you sellwithout feeling like you're
selling so I'm not going to getinto that. But you're more than
welcome to obviously, grab thatconsume it. People really really
love it I teach you like mystrategy of how I break down
creating content. And it's likea fun playful office supplies
kind of vibe. And people havereally really enjoyed that. But
(08:01):
we're gonna be doing thebaseline today of that
masterclass, which is what I'vealready been talking about is
like, deciding the platform, deciding the cadence. And then
from there, we want to also likeset a goal Do you want to
schedule stuff out a week inadvance to start a month in
advance a quarter in advance,I'm getting to the point where
I'm really craving multiplemonths ahead. Because I've
(08:25):
really, like solidified my mynext level of where I'm heading,
where my offers are heading, where my audience is heading.
And so I feel confidentscheduling that far out. And
also knowing if life ishappening or something in the
world is happening, I can easilylike unscheduled something. But
(08:46):
it feels really juicy. To me tobe multiple months, like my
ultimate goal is like six monthsahead. With a baseline of
content, I will always postspontaneously, it's just who I
am. Like, as I was driving topick up Emma today, I was like,
Oh, I have an idea. And I wantto do it right. A lot of times
my reels I'll do in real time, and I'll do my Facebook Lives,
(09:08):
and real time, but theneverything else is most likely
pre thought out pre scheduled.
And that feels really, reallygood. I will say, as a creative
brain. And even having ADHD itis very nice, very calming. To
know that you've got thisbaseline of content, that is not
(09:29):
only warming your audience up,but again, we're here to make
money. The content is alsoconverting people, right. And
this is all organic. We're noteven like talking about paid
traffic in this series. Justbecause that's a whole
different. It's a wholedifferent ballgame. And I really
do believe my philosophy on paidtraffic is let's, let's really
(09:51):
maximize your organic content, unless you've got lots of loads
of cash laying around where youYou, you can invest in a Ads
Manager, you can invest asignificant amount of money in
actual paid marketing, andyou're, you're gonna be able to
pay your bills, right like sothere are people in the online
(10:12):
space that have an advantagelike that a lot of people that I
work with, that's just notaligned. And also, like I've
built, honestly my business 90%if not higher on organic
relationship building. And Idon't have millions of people
following me or on my emaillist. And I actually am really
(10:34):
grateful for that, because it'sjust more evidence that you can
do this, like, again, whateverwe believe is possible is
possible. Okay. So we reallywant to get an understanding of
like, what is that goal of likea scheduling benchmark. So then
we can start creating thecontent, right, like, so if you
(10:55):
decided you want to be a weekout, then I would love for you
to go to Starbucks, go toPanera, go to a park like go
somewhere fun and creative. Ifyou can't leave your house for
whatever reason, then make yourspace creative, whether you turn
off the lights and have acandle, or you get some like
natural light coming in or likegood music. But regardless of
(11:18):
where you're at the vibe isimportant, again, how we do most
things is how we do most things.
So we want to start getting thatcontent created. A lot of times
people are like, I don't knowwhat to say. Okay, so again, I
in my masterclass, I go intothat a lot. But one of the best
(11:41):
things that you can do is thinkabout your offer, okay? What is
the outcome of that offer. Andwe start teaching people, little
pieces and parts of that offer, because they're gonna want to,
they're going to want more, it'salmost like when you're at
Costco, or Sam's Club, and thoselike sweet little ladies are out
(12:06):
with their gloves, and they'reserving a sample, right? They
are doing that becausestatistically, they know when
they put the product in front ofyou, right? And it goes into
your mouth, and you're like, Oh,I really like that. And the
product is right there. Thesales go up, like they know what
(12:28):
they're doing. It's not, they'renot wasting their their time and
money. Having sweet ladies standand give you samples, like they
know what they're doing. Andthey're strategically doing
different products. becauseeither they know that it is
going to drive traffic and orthey're testing to see if it
will drive traffic. So it can beone a case study and like market
(12:51):
research, and or they alreadyknow that it works. And so
they're running the play overand over and over again. Okay,
so this is so similar to that, right? Give them samples of what
they're going to experience, right? What transformation is
going to happen in the actualoffer that they'll spend money
(13:14):
on, because it's going to be ano brainer for them to be like,
holy crap, just in this quicklittle reel, or just in this
quick Facebook Live or the storyor even this post. She gave me
they gave me this little nugget, right? That completely shifted
(13:35):
everything, right. So creatingthose small wins or in even big
wins for people, before theyeven open up their wallets is
exactly how you become a moneymaking marketer. Truly, at the
end of the day. Yes, we want tomake people feel inspired, and
empowered, and educated andentertained. These are things
(13:58):
that I've talked about in themasterclass, shameless plug
little teas. And at the end ofthe day, you could truly get on
there and serve. And, and, youknow, give them in that sample,
and then invite them to the nextstep. Like if you loved this,
you will absolutely love thisone on one container, this book,
(14:20):
this course this that the otherpeople typically really don't
care about the actual offer andwhat is offered sometimes
they'll get a little weird aboutit. Just because they're trying
to figure out if things are forthem. But the minute somebody
has a transformation and they'recraving more they are so on
(14:43):
board with in their drinking theKool Aid, that they're like,
yeah, just like tell me how muchit is telling me when to show
up. Like what's going on. Ican't tell you how many times
I've had clients buy somethingfor me and they're like, What
did I get? And sometimes I feelbad because I'm like, Did I not?
Do you do my due diligence ofeducating you. And I have to
remind myself, people areemotional buyers, once they have
(15:06):
that activation transformationthey are so they're so sold,
right? Like, they worry lessabout the the bells and whistles
and the features. And there'sjust so sold on the
transformation that they trustyou so immensely that they're
like, yeah, just tell me, tellme how much I owe you and where
(15:27):
to be right now there is still apopulation of people, even when
they do feel that way are goingto be like, Okay, let me check
my budget, how many calls arethere? How long are the calls?
Are they zoom? Are they calls?
When are they like, you'll stillhave some of those people and I
appreciate those people like Ilove working with all different
types of buyers. Becauseeveryone has different buying
(15:49):
behaviors and personalities andgoals. And some people love
taking risks, and some peopledon't. So it's like I do respect
and appreciate. However, they'reshowing up in the buying process
and I'm so detached from thembuying which it does take
practice that I'm just here toanswer questions. I'm of course
(16:13):
excited, like specially when Iknow them and I'm like, Oh my
gosh, they're a dream clientslike I do have to like calm
myself down because I getgenuinely excited and also know
that you know everyone is ontheir own journey and everyone's
at different parts in theirjourney and I never ever want to
force anything because when youforce stuff it's just a disaster
(16:37):
Right? Like that client iseither like super overwhelmed or
not happy and it's not it's noteven worth any amount of money.
So I definitely know that andI'm very much like I will follow
up I will answer questions. It'salways your decision and that's
(16:58):
like the biggest thing that Iwant you to hear in this money
making marketing process is whenyou when you don't make it
weird, like if I hear the wordsalesy anymore, I'm just gonna
be like Peace Out Boy Scoutbecause that's, that's a
conditioning, right? Like, that's a way to keep women
quiet, and the financial gap tostill exist, right because it's
(17:21):
so much fucking fear mongeringof like Don't be salesy. I don't
want to be salesy. I've seensomebody else be salesy, right,
like, I don't want to be her.
And here's the thing, how youget really fucking good at sales
and marketing and anything isfreakin doing it. You may be
(17:44):
terrible in the beginning andcelebrate that, like, when I was
on year one versus year 15 or17. Like I lose track of where
I'm at, in my journey, doingdifferent things, but like I've
been, I've been at this for areally long time, when I was the
little 16 year old yesterday, Ibelieve, of course. And also, I
(18:10):
like to not know what I wasdoing. I remember for my first
fundraising event, my mom said, like, like, Are you like, Are
people gonna come? And shedidn't? I don't think she meant
it. And like, I mean way, there's a lot there. We don't
have to talk about it today. Butlike, it was like a valid
question, because I was like,Oh, those show up. Little me. I
(18:31):
was like, they they'll show up,right? Build it, and they will
come me now would not bank onthat. Right? I'd be like,
where's the data? What have Idone right? And people did show
up and we raised like, $3,000For my first fundraiser when I
think I turned 17 By the timethe fundraiser happened, but
like, it's just be okay withsucking a little or a lot. Like,
(18:55):
embrace it. How we get good atanything is freaking doing it.
And when you have fun doing it,it really doesn't matter. Right.
And I do believe when you havegood intentions, people can see
that, right. And like if you'rean A neurodivergent friend, I
know rejection can be a wholething, which we should probably
(19:18):
do a whole series on that alone.
So go at your pace, do it in away that feels good. If you want
to start in a Facebook groupversus like publicly do that,
right? Like if like do this in away that really does feel good
and practice. In our householdwe say practice makes better not
perfect because we're notworried about being perfect and
(19:41):
I don't want my kids to at allfeel that or try to reach for
that. So like I quiz Emma allthe time and like practice makes
and she says better. So alsothat with you right now practice
makes better. Okay? I'm so yourhomework for two day, as I am in
the car pickup line, and I'mgetting very close to picking up
(20:06):
Emma, you're getting the behindthe scenes vibe here today. So
your homework for today, okay,is to do one sample post, okay,
it can be a real it could be astory could be in a Facebook
group, I don't care themodality, modality, I don't care
the platform, but I do want youto think about your offer, okay?
(20:29):
And think about one piece ofthat transformation that you can
help create for somebody, right.
So for example, if you were inhealth and fitness, and a big
piece of your program wasprotein, right, like, you know,
when women eat their protein, right, more and more protein,
(20:50):
they get great results, then youcould go on Facebook Live and
say like, here's the number onething that I need you to focus
on to help you lose weightquickly. And then you could talk
about it right, and then youwould invite them right to a
discovery call, or to apply andfill out a form, depending on
(21:10):
what the offer is. Because thecool part about that is it gets
the dialogue going, she's gonnago then eat some more protein,
because most women don't eatenough protein. Fun fact. And
let's say she eats a littleextra protein than she normally
does. And in that live, maybeyou could give some examples of
like, easy ways to get proteinin or something like that. But
(21:32):
she goes and gets a littleprotein in more than she did
before she is going to feelbetter, right? or water or what
have whatever else you're goingto work on with them. And like
there's a big fear for people oflike, well, I don't want to give
too much away for free. Hello, have you listened to my podcast,
like, we give so much away forfree. And also know people
(21:55):
always pay for personalizedsupport, customized done for you
services, right? For communityfor experiences, etc. So it is a
mindset and a belief. If youbelieve that you're giving away
too much, then you're going to,you're going to, that's what
you're gonna put out in theworld. And that's what you're
(22:15):
gonna get back. If you believethat this is so valuable and
that the right people are goingto join and buy from you, then
that's what you'll get back, right. So let's get to our
homework. Let me know how you'redoing, how I can support you.

Because we we only have so manyspots. So we can really go deep
