show. I am the master at salesand social media with over 17

(00:54):
resulting in millions of dollarsnight as mentored countless
women from starting theirbusinesses all the way up to
multi millionaires. I am here tobe your go to mama to help you
build an iconic brand that youare proud of, to create a
massive passion and impact inthe world. Without further ado,
(01:15):
let's unlock today's episode.
Enjoy.
All right, this might be one ofmy favorite podcast episodes,
because my clients have actuallyrequested a class on this. So
this is definitely not a masterclass by any means. But it's at
(01:37):
least a little bit. This is likea taste of it. They keep wanting
something in regards toconfidence on camera. So it's
like in my training list oflike, okay, I give my VIP
clients what they want, as muchas I possibly can. And I'm like,
ooh, confidence on camera on it.
So we are going to talk aboutthat in this money making
marketing series. Because evenwhen you have us helping you
(02:01):
with your marketing, you stillget to be on camera, because no
one can be you. And you are atleast one of the spokes persons
persons people spokespeople foryour brand, right. And so, we
really get to embody that andfeel safe around that and be
(02:24):
able to be excited about it.
Because it does build so muchtrust when someone can hear your
voice see your face. It's kindof like if you were to do online
dating, and you like we'regetting very, like intimate with
them. But there were onlymessages back and forth. There
(02:46):
was never you never like talkedon the phone, you never
FaceTimed you could start tothink that you're gonna get
catfished, right? Like, it hashappened many times, even with
voice and phone, for thatmatter. So it's like just the
more we can eliminate the fearfrom people and really build
that know, like trust, whichnothing does that better than
(03:08):
video. I mean, events you couldargue, are stronger than video.
But video is more accessible andexpandable than events can be.
So video is really the thenumber one because of that
reason. So events are great.
Don't get me wrong, I love mesome events. But video is just
(03:29):
so helpful because you likewe've gotten this huge
opportunity with social mediathat we didn't have a few
decades ago, like you couldn'tgo live on a social media
platform. There wasn't evensocial media. And so we have
been given this huge gift, whichI also acknowledge can be
(03:51):
terrifying. I'll never forget, like the first time I went
Facebook Live and my heart wasbeating so strongly. And I was
terrified. And it I continued tofeel that way. And so I do want
to chat about that today.
Because the more we can get youon video, you will get better,
right? Practice makes better ifwe as we've talked about, and I
(04:17):
love stepping into the mindsetof like, what if you did 200
either short form videos, sothat would be like your reels or
your tic TOCs with your voice?
Or you did 200 stories. So thatwould be like in the stories
feature of the social mediaplatforms, or you did 200 Live
videos or even podcastinterviews that use your voice
(04:41):
right? So any of those and we'rejust like dude, picking the
number 200 And you made amillion dollars. Would you be
willing to get on video usedyour voice more and more. And a
lot of times we were like ohhell yeah, like if it's
guaranteed eat after 200 videos,I'm gonna get a million dollar
(05:02):
check your vibe and energychanges around it, you may still
be fearful, but the rewardstarts to become worth it in
your brain. But since we don'tnecessarily have that innate
guarantee, right, then that'swhere the excuses start to take
(05:22):
over, that's when the limitingbeliefs start to take over,
right? And you are human, andthey're going to happen. So we
get to first just like we did inthe series, we get to work on
your mindset around video. Andwe get to meet yourself where
you're at. So if it feels easierto hang out in your stories,
(05:43):
because, you know, they're gonnago away in 24 hours, and that
actually feels better to youbecause you're like, okay, even
if I suck, right, it's okay tosuck, they're gonna go away and
24 hours and if not, everyone'schecking them, then they're not
everyone's gonna see them. Ormaybe it feels better to you to
go live in a Facebook group orfor you, it feels better to
(06:04):
record your videos and then postthem so we can absolutely meet
you where you're at in regardsto being comfortable. Because
when you're comfortable, you'regoing to be so much more
confident on camera. And then wereally start to do that strategy
more and more and more, becausethen that just like a muscle,
(06:28):
it's gonna get stronger andstronger and stronger. And like
without doing a full fledgeconfidence on camera masterclass
yet, I will do that for my VIPclients who intend to be going,
this is really the baseline ofthat, right? Like, okay, let's
pick a pick away that we'regonna get on camera. I also do
believe, like, get some tools, right? Meaning we get a ring
(06:51):
light, we get a tripod, youdon't need these things. But
they can make you more confidentbecause you know, your arm
doesn't have to hold the phone, right? The lighting makes
everything look better. Maybeyou want to go and get a
lipstick or better foundation ora new blazer. If you've got the
means to do it, then let'sfreakin do it. And also, if you
(07:13):
don't, then what will make youfeel better, right? There's
natural light, there are booksthat you can use to prop up your
phone. So let's use what we havealways and also decide what
would make us feel better, morecomfortable, safer. And then we
really start to practice right?
(07:37):
Practice makes better. If you'rein the mindset of like, I just,
I don't know what to talk about.
I love thinking about and I lovethis icebreaker question like,
What is something that if youhad no preparation, but you were
like you had to get in front ofa roomful of strangers and talk
about for 30 minutes? Like, whatis that thing that you could
talk about? It doesn't even haveto be related to your business.
(07:58):
If you're like, so good in thekitchen, at cooking, and you're
like, oh my gosh, I could talkabout how to make XYZ like no
problem. This will also make youfeel more comfortable. Because
it's a topic that you alreadyfeel confident in. And we're
having we're having to, like, itjust so happens that we're going
to record you or go live andshowcase the skills. So and I'm
(08:21):
sure there's so much around thattopic that you could talk about,
which then leads me to thatbeing multiple videos. So you
could start to brainstormeverything you know about that
topic, which is really creatingmultiple videos. And you could
do that on post it notes andreally start to like, see, wow,
I really do have so much I cantalk about in video on this
(08:43):
topic. And eventually, yes, Iwould love and I would want you
to make sure that it relatesback to that offer that we've
been flushing out, because thatalone is going to make it so
much easier to then segue toinviting them to that offer. But
if we're at more of thebeginning stages of getting
(09:07):
confident on camera, I don'twant it to deter you or derail
you or delay you. In regards togetting on camera like today's a
good day to do it. Today's agreat day to do it. So don't
overthink it. Your homeworktoday is to get on Fit to if
it's just recorded and you don'teven post it. That's okay.
(09:30):
Again, we're all about takingteeny tiny steps here. We do not
want to get uncomfortablebecause your brain immediately
goes in shutdown mode and thingsstart to feel forced and it's
not sustainable or scalabletruly, and there's a different
way and so I am totally okaywith meeting you where you're at
(09:51):
and excited about it actuallybecause you just doing the thing
is going to create so muchendorphins and dopamine that
you're gonna be like, Oh mygosh, okay, what's the next
little step, I'm gonna go aheadand then post the video, right?
If you didn't post it. And so wejust take this one step at a
time, knowing that you're goingto get there, I was doing video
(10:15):
before Facebook Live was even athing. And I sat in my car and I
just talked about topics. I likethere was no, you know, sneaky
strategy to make millions ofdollars, like I just had a lot
to say. And I wanted to say itand I wanted to change lives.
And it felt so good. And still,to this day, even doing live
(10:36):
video or reels, or stories. Likeif there's one, money making
activity that I could pinpointover all my years, even before
my online business, I was doingvideo, and all different ways
for the nonprofit organization.
Video would be that much moneymaking strategy. So like when I
(10:59):
said, if you do two undervideos, and you make a million
dollars, I really do believe itcan happen. Like, I really do
believe it because I've felt it.
I don't think I would be whereI'm at without video. I really,
really wholeheartedly believethat. And I'm not perfect still
to this day, I will do videoswith no makeup. Sometimes I'm
holding my camera, sometimes mycamera even or my phone falls
(11:22):
down. Sometimes my kids are inthe background. And then
sometimes I have like, so I'm soput together and I like I you
know, I feel glamorous, right? Ilove doing the contrast, because
it's me at the end of the day.
And I think it shows women likeyou don't have to be perfect.
(11:48):
And just the message alone isthe most valuable part of it
all. So video is not goinganywhere. So we get to get
comfortable and confident oncamera because it really does
make a world of a difference.
Not only for your confidence, but to impact tons of lives. And
Cha Ching, cha ching chi, makemore money, right? All of it is
(12:11):
possible. And even if you'realready on camera, ask yourself
okay, do I want to do it more?
Do I want to repurpose my videosmore? Right? Do I want to get
even more strategic and add?
Like captions on my reels? Or doI want to have guests come on an
(12:32):
interview that like challengeyourself in the best way
possible to think about how canyou raise raise your standards
get to the next level when itcomes to us utilizing video as a
money making strategy. And doingit from a place of Yes. And that
feels freaking awesome. So youknow your homework for today?
(12:55):

is. DM me when you have itcomplete for accountability. And
