U.S. economy shrinks in first quarter; President Trump blames former President Biden; Sen. Schumer (D-NY) blames tariffs

Commerce Depart says the United States economy as measured by the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) shrank in the first quarter of the year by 0.3%, first time in three years. There was a surge in imports as companies tried to stock up before the President Donald Trump's high tariffs take effect.
