JOYA (00:00):
You are listening to.
We Woke Up Like this, and I amyour host, rev Joya.
This is a show dedicated toembodied spiritual awakening,
and we love to talk about themessy magic of living a soul-led
life.
A true spiritual awakening isnot all unicorns and rainbows,
and on this show we are notafraid to talk about it.
(00:22):
Your awakened frequency is thefrequency that will change the
world.
Enjoy the show.
Hello, beautiful souls, what ifI told you that right now, as
you're listening to these words, your soul is dropping
breadcrumbs for you to follow?
What if the universe has beenspeaking to you in a secret
(00:42):
language, your entire life?
A language written not in words, but in signs, symbols and
synchronicities that appear atexactly the moments when you
need guidance the most?
And what if the only thingstanding between you and this
profound guidance is learning totrust what your heart already
knows?
Today we're going on a journeyinto the mystical realm, where
(01:05):
your inner world meets the outerworld in the most magical ways.
Where a cardinal appearing atyour window isn't just a bird,
it's a message.
Where finding a feather on yourpath isn't a coincidence it's
confirmation.
Where the song that plays atthe exact moment you're thinking
about someone isn't random.
It's your soul's way of sayingyes, I'm thinking about you too.
(01:29):
This is the realm Carl Jungcalled synchronicity meaningful
coincidences that connect yourinner psychological state with
events in the external world.
And learning to navigate thisrealm isn't just about spiritual
growth.
It's about coming home to thetruth of who you already really
(01:53):
are.
There is something so profoundhappening to so many of us right
now.
It doesn't announce itself withfireworks or grand declarations
.
It's a quiet, imperceptibletransformation happening, a
silent journey that unfoldsinwardly.
Imperceptible transformationhappening a silent journey that
unfolds inwardly.
You might not even notice it atfirst, except for one day.
You realize you no longer reactto things the way you used to,
the things that once triggeredyou can now barely even touch
(02:16):
you.
You've changed, not just on thesurface, but really deeply, at
the root of who you are.
On the surface, but reallydeeply, at the root of who you
are.
Carl Jung understood thisprocess intimately.
He called it the process ofindividuation, the journey of
becoming who you truly are, beneath all the layers of your
conditioning, expectation andsurvival patterns.
(02:38):
And he discovered that thejourney often reveals itself
through synchronicities, thosemeaningful coincidences that
serve as our guideposts on thepath to our wholeness.
But here's what Jung knew thatmany people miss Synchronicities
aren't just pretty spiritualconcepts.
They really are your soul'snavigation system.
(02:59):
They're the breadcrumbs yourhigher self drops to lead you
home to your authentic self.
And the question really isn'tare they real?
Because science actuallystudies these things and says,
yes, they are real.
The question is are youlistening?
Three days before my birthday, weston sent me a kitten.
(03:20):
I was with my friend Stacy andwe were about to go on a hike
and I had to run into my officeand when I came out she was
looking up the tree right nextto my office.
Now you have to understand thatmy office is in an industrial
complex.
There are no houses nearby andit's at a very busy intersection
.
There's nothing nearby thatwould indicate there would be
(03:41):
kittens.
But here's this kitten was up atree.
I said what are you looking at?
And she says a kitten.
I could not even believe therewas a kitten up the tree Because
the day before he left for thatfateful trip that he never came
back from, I spent that day.
We spent that day together, andpart of the way I was bribing
(04:01):
him to stay was to go find him akitten.
And of course, we couldn't finda kitten because it wasn't
kitten season, it was February.
So now here's this kittenappearing exactly when I needed
a sign.
It was in between his birthday, mother's Day and my birthday,
and that week.
I remember it was a really hardweek, and I did have Stacy here
(04:23):
, which was beautiful, but herewas this beautiful little kitten
Panther up this tree, and thesynchronicity was so perfect, so
perfectly timed and soimpossible to ignore that I
absolutely knew it was Westonsending me a kitten.
Immediately after, though, anytime one of these things
happen, the first thing thathappens to me is my rational
(04:45):
voice says maybe this is just acoincidence.
You're seeing what you want tosee because you're grieving.
Doubt creeps in on me like afreaking prosecutor building a
case against magic.
I swear, and it's very annoyingand I'm very aware of it now,
and my practice has been trust, trusting synchronicities,
trusting magic and not trustingdoubt.
(05:05):
If you listen to my episode ontrust, then you know the secret
of trust already, and if youhaven't, I highly recommend
listening to it, because this iswhere the battleground, where
spiritual growth lives or dies.
This is where your soul'sguidance meets your ego's
resistance, and it's how younavigate this tension that
determines whether you step intoyour authentic spiritual power
(05:27):
or remain trapped in a worldthat feels disconnected and
meaningless.
We are the ones creating ourreality.
Young believed thatsynchronicities arise from what
he called the collectiveunconscious, a shared field of
archetypal wisdom that connectsall human experience.
And when your personalpsychological state aligns with
(05:49):
this deeper field, meaningfulcoincidences emerge to guide you
toward wholeness.
But how do you know when acoincidence is truly
synchronistic and not just yourmind, creating patterns where
none exist?
Because that's what the minddoes it creates patterns.
How do you distinguish whenyour soul's authentic guidance
(06:10):
is speaking to you versus yourego's wishful thinking?
So here's what I've learned onmy own journey in studying
Jung's work and in trusting myown synchronicities.
Trusting my own synchronicities, true synchronicity has a unique
energetic signature.
(06:30):
They feel expansive, they don'tfeel contracting, they bring
clarity and not confusion, andthey connect you to something
larger than yourself, ratherthan making everything about
your personal drama.
Real soul guidance feels like agentle, knowing that lights you
up from the inside.
Weston told me I know somethingis true because it lights me up
(06:51):
.
The truth lights you up.
Information that comes withpeace, even if it does challenge
you.
Messages that sound like wisdom, not just what you want to hear
Timing that's so perfect iteither makes you laugh or cry.
Want to hear Timing that's soperfect it either makes you
laugh or cry and a sense ofbeing held by something larger
than yourself.
There's a real feeling of aweand wonder when you experience a
(07:13):
synchronicity that you can'texplain.
You know it's your ego if it'surgent or there's a demand for
immediate action, or messagesfeed your victim story or your
superiority, complex informationthat increases your anxiety or
begins to create obsession, guidance that isolates you from
others or from your own innerknowing or anything.
(07:37):
Anything that asks you toabandon your own discernment.
The key is learning to feel thedifference in your body.
Your soul's truth createsexpansion in your chest, a sense
of coming home, a feeling ofyes, this is right.
A feeling of awe, of wonder, excitement like it could just
(07:58):
blow you away.
Where you have that experience, where you go no way, but your
ego projections createcontraction, confusion and a
need to convince others thatwhat you're experiencing is real
.
You don't need others toconvince you that something is
real when you know it, becauseyou don't need the external
validation.
Here's what nobody tells youabout spiritual growth.
(08:19):
The closer you get to yourauthentic self, the louder your
ego gets.
The closer you get to yourauthentic self, the louder your
ego gets.
The more you begin to trustyour inner guidance, the more
your rational mind will try totalk you out of it.
This is what Jung meant when hesaid that enlightenment doesn't
come from imagining figures oflight, but from making the
darkness conscious.
(08:40):
The darkness isn't evil.
The shadow parts of yourselfresist change and they prefer
familiar suffering.
They like to stay small to theterrifying freedom of becoming
who you are.
It wants to predict.
It wants to know what's goingto happen, even if it means
creating misery.
When you start paying attentionto synchronicities, your ego
(09:01):
will mount a campaign againstyour awakening and it'll say
things like you just are seeingwhat you want to see.
Successful people don't makedecisions based on finding
feathers.
You're being irrational.
You're being irresponsible.
What will people think if theyknow you believe this stuff?
This voice is not your enemy, though.
Your ego is your protectivemechanism trying to keep you
(09:22):
safe by keeping you the same.
That's its job.
But Jung understood thatindividuation requires you to
outgrow your need for safety andstep into the unknown territory
of your soul's calling.
The ego speaks in certaintiesand demands proof before it will
trust anything.
The soul speaks in whispers andasks for trust before proof.
(09:43):
Learning to discern betweenthese two voices is perhaps the
most important skill you candevelop on your spiritual
journey for real, and this iswhy we have to be embodied,
because our body is our truth.
Detector Young discovered thatthe psyche and the soma, your
mind and your body, areintimately connected, and
(10:04):
science is proving this.
Now there's so much proof.
The mind-body connection isreal.
Your body is constantly givingyou information about what's
true and what's not, but most ofus have been taught to ignore
the subtle signals in favor ofwhat makes logical sense.
We live in a culture thatworships thinking, that worships
the rational mind, instead of aculture that acknowledges that
(10:28):
we have three brains in our bodythe head, the heart and the gut
.
All have neural pathways, allhave neurons.
There are three brains that dothree different things.
So when you encounter apotential sign or synchronicity,
pause and close your eyes andnotice what happens inside of
your body.
Pause and close your eyes andnotice what happens inside of
your body.
You'll feel warmth, you'll feelrecognition, you'll feel a
(10:53):
sense of aha.
You might get goosebumps orchills.
You'll get a quiet settling, like pieces of you are falling
into place, like a knowing, andyou'll feel expanded.
You'll feel your heart openingbecause it creates a sense of
awe where you just know.
Heart opening because itcreates a sense of awe where you
just know.
But again, that ego projectionfeels like constriction or
tightness, frantic energy orurgency, the need to convince
(11:17):
yourself of something, confusion, mental spinning or just
collapsing or closing off.
Your body never lies and itknows the difference between
genuine spiritual guidance andmental fabrication.
The challenge is learning totrust what you feel over what
you think, especially when whatyou feel doesn't make logical
(11:39):
sense.
And, believe me, it won't.
Every time you choose to honora meaningful coincidence over
social conditioning, every timeyou follow your intuitive
guidance, despite not having allof the information, every time
you say yes to what lights youup, even when you can't explain
why you're building yourspiritual discernment muscle.
(12:00):
This kind of self-trust doesnot happen overnight.
It's developed through smallacts of courage, through paying
attention to the results offollowing your guidance and
through learning to distinguishbetween the voice of fear and
the voice of love withinyourself.
Young wrote extensively aboutthe process of differentiation
(12:20):
learning to separate yourauthentic voice from the voices
of your parents, society andculture that have been
programmed in you since birth.
Synchronicities become one ofthe most reliable ways to hear
your own voice clearly becausethey bypass the mental chatter
and speak directly to your soul.
As Jung said, the privilege ofa lifetime is to become who you
(12:42):
truly are, and becoming who youtruly are requires following the
breadcrumbs your soul leavesfor you, even when no,
especially when they lead youinto the territory where your
mind has never explored and yourmind will freak out.
Your ego will kick up its heelslike nobody's business.
(13:04):
Young discovered thatsynchronicities often carry
archetypal themes, universalsymbols and patterns that appear
across cultures throughout andthroughout history.
Learning to read this symboliclanguage is like learning to
understand the native tongue ofyour soul.
Some common archetypal symbolsand their meanings are birds,
(13:24):
which are messengers betweenheaven and earth.
Are birds which are messengersbetween heaven and earth freedom
, transcendence.
Different birds carry differentmeanings.
People who have departed lovedones often see cardinals or
hummingbirds as messengers.
Hawks mean to see the biggerpicture.
Owls are for wisdom anddarkness.
Water is always about emotionalhealing, cleansing the flow of
(13:48):
life.
It represents the unconsciousmind.
Finding yourself drawn to wateroften signals a need for
emotional release or spiritualpurification.
Butterflies, of course,represent transformation,
resurrection.
My theme the soul's journey, beauty emerging from struggle,
(14:09):
the soul's journey, beautyemerging from struggle.
Butterflies will often appearduring times of change to
confirm that you are in ametamorphosis process.
And then, of course, we havenumbers Seeing repeated numbers
like 1111, 333, 1212, or, in mycase, 14, often indicate
alignment with your soul's pathand divine support.
They have messages for you.
Feathers, of course.
(14:30):
Lots of people find featherswhich represent your angels,
protections, messages fromspirit, messages from your loved
ones on the other side.
Finding feathers often signalsthat you're supported by forces
beyond the physical realm.
Coins Do you find coins a lot?
That means abundance is flowingto you, confirmation you're on
the right path, and messagesfrom loved ones.
(14:55):
If you find pennies, arepennies from heaven.
Whenever I find a coin, Ialways say thank you, I'm so
abundant and I put it in mypocket.
The key is learning to feel whateach symbol means for you.
Archetypal meanings providefoundation, but your personal
relationship with each symbol iswhat matters the most.
The cardinal that appears whenyou're thinking about your
(15:17):
grandmother carries a differentmedicine than the cardinal that
shows up when you're making acareer decision, for instance.
So just pay attention, and youcan always ask Chatty G to be
your Jungian archetype analyst, which is what I do.
Learning to work consciouslywith signs and synchronicities
(15:39):
is not about becomingsuperstitious at all, and we're
also not turning everycoincidence.
Everything is a sign,everything is a symbol,
everything is a spiritual eventbecause it's not but really
developing a mature, discerningrelationship with the subtle
ways your soul or loved ones, orthe universe is communicating
(15:59):
with you.
I like to begin my mornings bysetting an intention, asking
what do I need to do today?
What will speak to me today?
Help me to see, help me to hear, help me to know.
And then go about your day witha curious awareness and just
note and pay attention toanything that feels meaningful
(16:20):
or unusual to you.
When facing a decision, you canask for three confirming signs
to point you in the rightdirection.
Pay attention to what shows upthrough conversations, songs,
billboards, books or anythingelse that catches your attention
.
The universe loves to play withthis and be creative in its
(16:40):
communication methods.
In the evenings, before you goto sleep, do a review of your
day what repeated themes, numbers, colors or symbols
appeared for you and write themdown and during the day on your
phone, keep a record.
I have a notepad, a note on myphone and photos.
(17:03):
I have evidence of sign symbolsand synchronicities and when
they jump out for me and they'realways in the shapes of hearts,
birds, a cat in a tree, thenumber 14.
So just really pay attention towhat they are for you and ask
the universe to show you whatyou're not seeing, because there
(17:25):
could be something that'sarising all the time and you're
just not noticing it.
And then, when you do noticethe synchronicity, pause and ask
what if this is meaningful?
Why is this meaningful?
What if my soul directed myattention to this for a reason?
And tune into your gut response.
The first hit, the firstmeaning is usually the right one
(17:48):
.
And don't just collectsynchronicities like their
spiritual trophies, but ask ifthe sign is inviting you to do
something differently.
How is this guidance asking meto grow or to change?
And then take one small actionin alignment with the
confirmation you've received.
It takes courage to do it, butit's amazing what happens when
(18:09):
you do.
And definitely the greatestchallenge in following
synchronistic guidance islearning to honor what your
heart knows when your mind can'tmake sense of it.
The mind always wants to knowwhy, how, why, how, and your
rational mind will always preferthe familiar, the provable, the
socially acceptable, always.
(18:31):
But your soul's path requiresyou to venture into territory
that can't be mapped by logicalone.
Jung understood the journey ofindividuation requires what he
called holding the tension ofopposites, which is learning to
honor both your rational mindand your intuitive wisdom,
without letting either onecompletely override the other.
(18:52):
And is my favorite word, because it doesn't mean we're
abandoning our discernment tomake impulsive decisions based
on every random occurrence andcalling it a sign.
It means developing thesophisticated ability to
recognize when your soul isactually speaking to you through
the language of synchronicity, and having the courage to follow
(19:13):
that guidance, even when youcan't explain it to others.
Remember that your soul's pathwas never meant to make sense to
anyone else.
It's meant to make sense to you, was never meant to make sense
to anyone else.
It's meant to make sense to you, and the sense it makes is not
logical, believe me.
It's the deep recognition ofcoming home to yourself and of
aligning with your authenticpurpose of finally finally
(19:38):
living the life your soul camehere to experience.
It's not easy at first, butthen it's the most easy and
natural thing you've ever done.
There is a moment in everyperson's spiritual journey when
they have to choose between thesafety of conformity and the
wild adventure of authenticity.
When you start followingsynchronicities, you will
(20:00):
inevitably reach decisions thatdon't make sense to the people
around you.
They just won't.
You might be guided to quit thejob that looks so perfect on
paper but it drains your soul,or you might be led to a
relationship that doesn't fityour mental checklist but sets
your heart on fire.
You'll be called to expressgifts that don't have a clear
(20:24):
career path, but just trust thatsomething's aligning for you,
because it is, and this is wherethe self-trust becomes
everything.
This is where you discoverwhether you're willing to
disappoint other people in orderto honor the truth of your soul
, because followingsynchronistic guidance will
sometimes require you to chooselove over logic.
(20:45):
Definitely to choose love overlogic.
Definitely to chooseauthenticity over approval and
your own inner knowing overexternal validation, and all
three of those things areutterly terrifying to your ego.
Young wrote your vision becomesclear when you look into your
heart.
Who looks outside dreams wholooks inside awakens.
(21:06):
The signs and synchronicitiesyou're receiving are invitations
to look inside and to trustwhat you find there and to have
the courage then to live fromthat truth.
Here's what happens when youfinally embrace the guidance of
sign, symbols andsynchronicities the mystical
becomes your normal.
You live a mystical life.
(21:27):
What once felt like occasionalspiritual experiences becomes
your everyday operating system.
We live in a spiritual universe.
We are spiritual beings havinga human experience, and life is
as magic as we make it.
You begin to navigate your lifewith a constant dialogue, with
a deeper intelligence thatorchestrates all things.
(21:48):
I talk to God all day.
I talk to Weston all day.
When I'm driving, I'm talkingto God.
I'm having a convo.
I'm like, hey, god, and I'll be, like, here's what's going on.
Can you help me find a sign?
Can you just show me that youcan hear me?
And it's amazing what willarise in my consciousness, like,
oh, that's exactly the answer.
And you'll stop feeling alonebecause you're in an ongoing
(22:12):
relationship with the forcesthat guide and support your
highest good.
You're not lonely.
I love being alone now.
Love, love, love my alonenessand my solitude, because I'm not
lonely in it.
You stop feeling lost becauseyou're always receiving course
corrections through meaningfulcoincidences.
You stop feeling powerlessbecause you're consciously
(22:34):
co-creating your reality withthe universe itself.
This is absolutely not aboutliving in fantasy land or
avoiding practical real worldresponsibilities.
We still live on planet earthin a body.
But we can bring about thesacred and put it into our
mundane.
We can recognize that there'sno separation between spiritual
(22:58):
life and ordinary life.
I used to always say that Iwant to live a sacred life.
I would go on these big sacredjourneys and then I would come
back and it would be such a hardcomeback to live a sacred life.
I would go on these big sacredjourneys and then I would come
back and it would be such a hardcomeback to home, to reality,
because I was like I just wantto immerse myself in the sacred
but I didn't realize I am thesacred.
Where I am is sacred, everyground I'm walking on is sacred
(23:21):
ground.
If I treat my life that way.
It's a mindset shift, but ithappens and it's happened to me.
Every moment becomespotentially sacred for real.
Every interaction with everyperson you ever have is
intensely meaningful.
Every day becomes anopportunity to dance with the
(23:44):
divine through the language ofsynchronicity.
You can play with this.
As Jung discovered through hisown profound mystical
experiences, we are not separatefrom the creative intelligence
of the universe.
We are expressions of it.
The signs and synchronicitiesyou receive aren't external
messages from a distant god.
(24:04):
And synchronicities you receivearen't external messages from a
distant God.
They're your way of connectingto your higher self and they're
the way your higher selfcommunicates to you, to your
human self, guiding you home tothe truth of who you've always
been.
Your soul wants to expressitself through you in your life,
but the freaking ego is takenover.
(24:26):
There comes a moment when theaccumulation of signs and
synchronicities reaches atipping point.
It's when you can no longerpretend they're just
coincidences.
When you start logging them andnoticing them and writing them
down.
At what point do you stopsaying it's a coincidence that I
keep seeing 12-12 or 11-11?
And, instead of just noticingit, ask what it means?
(24:48):
There's a point you can'tpretend that they're just
coincidences.
I often say that coincidence isthe word someone uses who
doesn't believe in God.
When the voice of your soulbecomes so clear, so consistent
and so undeniable that you willhave to make a choice, will you
continue living in according towhat others expect to you, to
(25:10):
what your own mind expects ofyou, or will you finally honor
what your own spirit is callingyou to become.
We feel that that inner tug, that gap between who we are and
who we know we want to be.
And even if we know, we don'tknow what we want to be at or
who we want to be.
And even if we know we don'tknow what we want to be at or
who we want to be at, we knowit's not what we're doing and
who we're being.
(25:31):
And this moment of choice iswhat Jung called the
confrontation of the self, thearchetypal core of who you
really are, beneath all thepersonas and the masks you wear.
It's terrifying, it'sexhilarating and it's utterly
necessary, because on the otherside of that choice lies a life
of authentic power, genuinefulfillment and the deep peace
(25:55):
that comes from finally beingaligned with your soul's purpose
.
The signs have been leading youall along and to this moment,
to this choice, you've been ledand guided through the choices
you're making.
How are you making your choices?
What are you allowing to guideyou?
The signs have led you to therecognition that you're not a
(26:16):
victim of circumstance.
You are a co-creator withforces far more intelligent and
loving than you have everimagined, forces far more
intelligent and loving than youhave ever imagined.
Your soul has been dropping youbreadcrumbs your whole life and
the question that remains issimple Will you follow them?
I used to work with this amazingwoman.
(26:37):
She passed away a couple ofyears ago.
Her name was Aviva Gold and shedid this process called
painting from the source.
She was an older woman in her80s, very wise, very wise woman,
and she was a Jungian arttherapist from way back.
She'd been doing it since likethe 60s, and she did this
process.
You would go to her house overthe course of three days and you
(27:00):
paint.
And the first time I did this, Ithought it was ludicrous what
she was asking us to do, becauseyour painting grows as you
paint it.
You don't have any idea whatyou're starting with.
You just allow the painting tostart leading you.
And she believed, as a Jungianart therapist, that your
(27:30):
painting was revealing somethingin your unconscious through the
symbols that were coming out onyour painting and you would
embody your painting.
And the first time I did that,I thought it was just so absurd
and, to be honest, I thought itwas absurd because I was afraid
to do it.
I was terrified to do it.
I was terrified to be thatauthentic, that vulnerable, that
raw, that much showing ofmyself to these strange women in
(27:52):
this place with me, and I didit again.
And then I did it again and Iwent and painted with her three
times and the third one was soincredibly powerful and I took
everything that she had to teachme, everything, all of her
wisdom, and I bundled it all upinside of me and I learned her
(28:16):
method and I learned her processand I began doing it for myself
and I'm feeling very called tostart doing these workshops
again.
It's called, except I'm callingit soul led painting, where you
just allow and you trust and youlet these archetypes come out
(28:36):
on your paint.
It's dreaming with a paintbrushand the things that came out in
the symbology were so powerful,so healing, this work of Jung
being a mystic, a lifelongmystic, which is what he was,
and so am I, and maybe so aresome of you.
You've always known you'remystical.
(28:58):
You've had mystical experiencesyour whole life.
That can't be you.
You've always known you'remystical.
You've had mystical experiencesyour whole life that can't be
explained.
You've just known you're notlike other people, and not in a
comparative way, but you justknow you're not like other
people.
But now it's time to use thosegifts.
As we are moving into thisfifth world, this shifting
(29:22):
consciousness, it really is timeto say yes and step up and
embody the fullest expression ofwhat our soul came here to do.
This body is just a spacesuit,as my favorite Buddhist teacher,
tara Brach, says.
Buddhist teacher Tara Brocksays this is our spacesuit on
spaceship Earth and my soul, mylight, is embodying it and your
(29:52):
soul, your light, is embodyingyours.
But, as Weston showed me inthat meditation, he said, mom,
we got to wake up in the game.
You have to teach people towake up in the game.
And he showed me this visual ofplaying a video game and the
avatar in the game decides it'sreal.
And he showed me how he'd beplaying this game and it and the
game.
You're playing this game andyou start yelling at this avatar
going.
Why are you doing that?
You're going to hurt yourself.
(30:13):
That is a stupid decision.
All right, now I got to try toget this guy back on tack, on
track.
Let's work this out for hisgood.
Let's make this be like XP.
He's accumulating XP.
That's experience points foryou non-gamers.
And he showed me like this iswhat life is like.
This is what it's like for oursoul watching us that this
avatar, this being, this ego,has taken over and is leading
(30:37):
life from this very limitedperspective of reality, based on
a conditioned self.
We cannot see beyond the levelof our own conditioning, and the
older we get, the more the egolocks in on an identity of who
you think you are, and this iswhat Jung called the ego, your
(31:00):
self-identity.
The story yourself tells youabout who you think you are, and
this is what Jung called theego, your self identity.
The story yourself tells youabout who you are, which we
would now call in modernneuroscience your default mode
network got unplugged, that.
There's a tremendousopportunity in that to trust
(31:25):
something else, to say yes tothe signs, the symbols and the
synchronicities and no to thedefault mode network that's
crashing.
And all of us will face one ofthese four horsemen eventually
in life.
None of us get out of lifeunscathed.
And I say the four horsemen thatforce this transformation to
(31:45):
happen in you, that unplugs yourdefault mode network, that
shakes up your ego enough tomake it go whoa, I don't know
who I am anymore.
Which then your soul now has acrack to get in there and go ooh
, let's start doing somespiritual work.
To get in there and go oh,let's start doing some spiritual
work, let's start giving thisperson, this avatar, a different
(32:06):
direction.
And those are death, divorce, diagnosis and devastating loss.
And I don't think there's ahuman being alive who gets
through their whole life withoutexperiencing at least one of of
those, sometimes more of those, more than one.
I've experienced more than one.
(32:26):
And if you're in the middle ofthat, if you're in the middle of
that grief, if you're in themiddle of that terrible trauma,
ask your soul for help, just sayhey, I'm drowning here, I need
some help, I need some guidance.
Please send me a sign, symbolor synchronicity.
Open my eyes to see it, open myears to hear it, help me to see
(32:49):
it and know it and understandit.
And let me know that it'sdefinitely, definitely from you,
so I can not question it.
And then, when you notice thatthing, say thank you, thank you,
thank you.
And this is how you begin torewire yourself, to rewire your
ego, your default mode network,to reprogram yourself to step
(33:11):
into a life of miracles andmagic.
And yes, the heaviness is stillthere.
And yes, the heaviness is stillthere.
The grief doesn't go away.
What happened happened?
We can't change it, but we canchange how we live with it and
who we become because of it.
We don't have to be victims ofour lives.
(33:32):
We don't have to be victims ofcircumstance.
We can choose to be consciousco-creators with our existence,
because we are so.
Before you go back to your dayfor the next week, I invite you
to carry a small notebook withyou, or even just use your phone
and record every moment thatmakes you pause and think hmm,
(33:54):
that's interesting timing.
Huh, that's a strangecoincidence.
I want you to notice everyrepeated number, every
unexpected encounter, every songthat plays at the perfect
moment, every animal thatcrosses your path in an unusual
way, anything out of theordinary, anything that makes
you take notice beyond the realmof your ordinary day.
(34:18):
Extraordinary.
Look for the.
Look for the extraordinary.
I love that word and make anote of it.
I like to take pictures of them.
For me, those are things thatare heart shaped Definitely
hummingbirds, butterflies,feathers, coins, license plates,
songs, a book.
(34:39):
I usually find lots ofinteresting things in a book.
Like, I'll open a book, it'llbe a paragraph, it'll be just
the thing I was just thinkingabout or wondering about.
So keep your eyes peeled andyour ears open and your eyes
open for how your spirit wantsto communicate with you, and
write it down.
Do not judge if it's realspiritual guidance or just a
coincidence.
Just notice it and record itReally like do this as a
(35:03):
scientist, collect data and atthe end of the week, read
through your list and see whatpatterns emerge.
What has your soul been tryingto tell you?
You know, I have a friend and Ikid you not.
Every time, every freaking time, we have a conversation and
Weston comes up and we starttalking about Weston.
(35:24):
I don't have this experience.
My friend does.
On the other end, wherever he'sat, he will see 11s, whether
it's 111, 1111.
And just this morning we werehaving a conversation.
He wanted to ask me a questionabout Weston and he yells in my
ear holy shit, joya, my carodometer just turned one one,
(35:47):
one, one, one one.
And I was like no way he goes,I swear to God.
So this is a definite messagefor him and for me that what we
are saying is true, becausehere's what I know for sure the
universe is always speaking toyou.
Your soul is definitely alwaysguiding you, your departed loved
(36:09):
ones are always loving you.
And the question isn't whetheror not signs are real, whether
or not they're logical, whetheror not they're rational.
The real question is whetheryou're ready to receive them, to
notice them, and if you'relistening to this podcast and if
these words are resonating inthat deep place within you that
(36:29):
recognizes truth when it hearsit, if it's lighting you up,
then you're already more readythan you know.
In fact, someone told mesomething I posted was a sign
for her and I just startedlaughing and I said, wow, god,
thank you for letting me be asign and a symbol in someone
(36:50):
else's life.
That is so amazing and that'salso true of you.
And this is why we want tooperate consciously, because we
are conscious co-creators in afield that is conscious itself
and we do impact and affect eachother in ways we have no idea.
But when we're following thelove, when we're following the
signs, when we're listeningwithin, when we're staying
(37:12):
present and we're moving from aspace that's a high vibrational
place of love and deep trust, weare making an impact and
ripples in the field beyond whatwe can even begin to comprehend
.
We're just doing it from aplace that it feels good to our
soul, it feels good to our heart, it feels good inside of us and
therefore it's good foreverybody else, and that's a
(37:35):
fact.
So trust the signs, trust thesynchronicities, but, most
importantly, trust yourself.
Trust that you are absolutelyworthy and capable of receiving
divine guidance.
Trust that your life has sacredpurpose.
Trust that the breadcrumbs yoursoul is dropping will lead you
(37:55):
exactly where you need to go.
Your authentic life is waitingfor you to follow the trail, and
it starts with the very nextsign you notice, the very next
synchronicity that makes yourheart whisper oh, my god, yes.
So until next time, beautiful, beautiful souls, keep your eyes
open, keep your heart receptiveand keep your journal handy.
(38:19):
Your soul has so much to tellyou and I can tell you right now
.
Your soul is so excited thatyou're going to start paying
attention and remember you arenever, ever alone on this
journey.
The universe itself isconspiring to support your
awakening.
All you have to do is trust thebreadcrumbs and follow them
home, and I will see you nextweek.
(38:42):
Be blessed everybody.
