Podcast that talks about tabletop boardgames. We specifically focus on the two player experience of games.
We love giving games as gifts, so we figured why not make a podcast talking about just that. We have different price brackets and different types recipients to help find something that matches your needs. We had to remove A LOT of games from this list to get it to fit into under 90 minutes! So know that we really made the list shorter, just not that short ;) We thank you for listening to us ramble on about board games :)

Darwin's Journey is the game we are discussing this time and let me tell you (SPOILER ALERT) it is amazing! This game as the pedigree of a great game experience starting with the designers, Luciani and Mangone. Production values are of at the top of the charts from Thundergryph Games. Darwin's Journey makes worker placement so much more. Find out what we loved about it and (if there is anything) what we didn't. We ap...

We love Lacerda games. So we thought it was time for us to do a podcast talking about the most recent heavy Lacerda game. This one is heavy, like a bag of lead heavy. We touch on the what we liked and didn't like about the game. Yes there were a couple of things that we didn't, not many. We hope we did a good enough job for you to want to look into the game yourself. :) Thank you for listening and we hope you enjoyed you...
Time for another top 10 list! This time we go back to 2017 and let me tell you this was a stack year for board games! There were so many good co-op and dice drafting/worker placement games! Plus the former #1 game on BGG (should still be imo) Thank you for taking the time to listen, we hope you enjoy! :)

We are recapping our trip to Great Plains Game Festival this week. We played a bunch of new to us games, bought some games, some art and got to play some games with some new friends and old friends. It was a great weekend (sorry spoiler!) for us. Thank you for listening!

White Castle is an amazing fast food burger joint imo, The White Castle is a board game release from Devir Games in 2023. I can't vouch for what The White Castle tastes like, but we are going to tell you what we think of the game :) This one is a dice drafting and dice worker placement game that is very snappy. What did we think of this one, well you will have to listen to find out! So if you are reading this (does anyone ac...
So who wouldn't want to have been a robot inventor as a kid? I know I did. Well In Raising Robots you get to do that. In Raising Robots you are taking the role of a kid robot inventor and use all the cool things to make any robot your mind can envision, and with a lot of duct tape you can envision a bunch! With the action selection, resource management and simultaneous play you accumulate points by playing robot cards, getting...
We don't have a Top 10 list or a new hot game to talk about this time. We do have a great game from Stonemaier Games, Tapestry! I am going to do my best to not overdo the puns in this description. We will talk about our plays of Tapestry and experiences playing the game that shape and define our thoughts of it. (wait did I just describe the the meaning of tapestry, dang. I tried) We will touch on the expansions as well. ...
We are going to start the new year with us talking about all the games we played from basically (USA) Thanksgiving until the middle of January. We are back on our normal schedule of releasing a new podcast every other week. We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and played lots of games with family and friends! Thanks for listening!

We recently attended our first BGGCON and we wanted to share our thoughts. How did it compare to our current favorite game convention, GeekWay to the West? Were we thirsty the whole time we were there? Where we afraid to leave our gaming spot for fear of never finding one again? Listen and find our answers to those questions and many more! Thank you for listening and let us know what you think of BGGCON if you have been or let u...
We talk about our thoughts on the social misgivings of trolls and how they treat humans, wait no we are talking about how trolls are caretakers of human babies. No wait we are talking about how we are interior designers for princesses. Ummm, no. We are talking about Trolls & Princesses the BOARD GAME. This worker "movement" game is all about building out your cave, to make it spacious enough to house all the bells...
We have a slightly different podcast this week. We are giving our first impressions on Apiary. We wanted to talk about this game but haven't had enough plays for us to really go into great depth so we just ramble on about what we liked and didn't like about Apiary. (I mostly rambled, wait they don't know who "I" am. Oh well) Thanks for listening!

Keeping with the Top 10 list vibes we have had lately and continuing back in time, 2019 is up for discussion. I thought 2020 had some great games but 2019 has an even larger group of good to great games published. How many crossovers will we have this time.........? Who knows, well we know and you soon will too! Hope you enjoy and as always thanks for listening!

Sanssouci, the game of making nobles stroll through various different landscapes. Well that may be a bit of over simplification BUT you do do that! Seriously this game is a great tile laying game, that in our opinion is equal part route building. See if we think this game is a keeper or not. Thanks, as always, for listening and downloading our podcast :)

We are talking about are new favorite 1v1 duel card game. This game is an engine builder at it's core, with some card drafting mixed in. This game plays fast like you will be mid way through the game and then in a couple of turns you will be out of life points! I know this from experience. Oh and I didn't even mention one of the best parts of the game and that is the art on the cards, so gorgeous! Hope you enjoy us ...
We love polyomino games and one of us loves economic games. So when we discovered Rebuilding Seattle it was pretty much going to be a no brainer that we liked it right? Hmmm I guess you will need to listen and find out! We thank you for listening and hope you enjoy!
