WhatMakesUsFire is a podcast that sheds light on the lives of Firefighters, Civil Service Members, Active/ Retired Military Personnel, and all those that surround them. Searching for what is within every one of them that drives them to make the choice to sacrifice of themselves for others. Even when Every. Single. One. of them is completely and un-mistakenly different. We will dive into the backgrounds, philosophies, hearts, and minds of all that consider themselves part of WhatMakesUsFire! We DO NOT shy away from the mental health aspect of our jobs. We are in the business of killing the stigma of talking about our mental health out loud, and unapologetically.
