Born in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, Felix "Rico" Rivera is a first generation military and college graduate in his family. Rico has served in active duty military for 8 years and is now in the Army's Special Operations realm where he has deployed to Iraq and Colombia. As a man who has strived for greatness throughout his entire life, Rico will be publishing his first book (The Effort) later this summer and begin his doctorate in Homeland Security in Fall, 2023. We are honored to have Rico join What The Fox?! as part of his own effort to humanize lived experiences in the military, including real life struggles associated with mental health and how to get help in the military.
