This week we welcome Ken Amaro. After doing 42 years in television and broadcasting, Ken is now a City Council Member at Jax District One.
Ken grew up in the Virgin Islands and then decided to move to Connecticut. Here is where he found his love for Broadcasting. He was working at the Radio Station while also being a part time student. He then decided Connecticut was too cold, so he ended up in Florida.
Now Ken has transitioned into local politics. With a faithful background, Ken believes in predestination; "you may take some twists and turns, but you will wind up where you are supposed to be". This leads into his story on how he figured out Ken had type 2 diabetes.
