With a career that spans over 20 years, Matt Dell is a name that has been turning heads in the music industry since day one. Matt received singer/songwriter of the year awards in 2009 and 2012 in his hometown and received media praise as one of Niagara's finest musicians. In 2014 Matt’s band I’ve Got Gloria exploded onto the scene after placing top 12 on 97.7 HITZ FM’s Rock Search, and top 20 on 102.1 The Edge’s Next Big Thing competitions. As a certificate holder in songwriting from Berklee College of Music, Matt’s work has received airplay on radio stations across North America including Toronto’s 102.1 The Edge and 9.77 HITZ FM along with the #1 alternative radio station on the internet IDOBI Radio. Now a full time music teacher, Matt has taught over 21,000 private lessons as a vocal coach and has worked with such artists as Seaway (toured with Blink-182, Sum 41, etc) and Bearings (debuted #11 for best new artist on Billboard in 2018), The Expanse actor Wes Chatham, and Stranger Things actor Dacre Montgomery for the film The Broken Hearts Gallery. Matt’s passion has always been in helping others learn and grow as artists. His approach to teaching uses a biological and physiological method to help students better understand how voice mechanics work, how you are currently using your voice, And how to improve the efficiency of your voice.
