Zaya Wade the 15-year-old transgender daughter of basketball superstar Dwayne Wade who started her transition at the tender age of 12 was recently in the news due to her birth mother Siohvaughn Funches filing a petition to stop the gender and name change of her transgender daughter Zaya, born Zion Wade.Â
I had so many questions after hearing this story. This topic is universal, so I wanted to get the views and opinions of parents and child-free people from across the globe.
