For over 10 years, I’ve balanced a full-time corporate job with being a mom and wife. When I first became a mom, I had this image of what motherhood would or should look like. But working full-time while raising a multicultural family taught me that real life doesn’t fit neatly into those expectations. Today, I’ll talk about the lessons I’ve learned, the expectations I’ve let go of especially as an Asian mom, and how being a working mom has shaped my family for the better.
