Episode 16 : Freedom From Attachment
In this episode of Why Mindset Matters, I’m diving into something that’s been both one of my hardest lessons and deepest teachers — attachment. I speak a lot about grief, healing, and mindset here, but underneath all of it is this quiet, often unseen force: the illusion of control.
I share how our attachments (to people, outcomes, and the life we thought we'd have) only serve to amplify our suffering after loss. And more importantly, how learning to loosen our grip doesn’t mean giving up, but finally finding peace. Letting go doesn’t mean you don’t care. It means you stop trying to control the uncontrollable and start allowing life to be what it is — beautifully unpredictable and painfully precious.
This episode is an invitation to check in with what you're holding onto, and gently ask yourself: Is this helping me, or holding me back?
