Speaker 1 (00:00):
You are one year away from people saying that you got
lucky, which means that you canmake this an absolutely
transformational year in 2025 ifyou just keep the foot on the
gas pedal, no matter what.
I don't want any of you to stopdoing what you're doing,
especially the thing that youfeel so connected to in your

(00:22):
heart, because maybe you don'thave enough likes, maybe you
don't have you, just it's notgrowing as fast as you thought.
Quite frankly, I thought I wasalready gonna have about 30 or
so people in my group by now.
We're not there yet yet.
Keyword yet is there anythought of giving up?
Absolutely not.
Are there some doubts thatcreep in?

(00:44):
Yes, absolutely.
We'll be fully transparentabout that.
There are some doubts.
Maybe it's not right, but theconversation with that voice is
then brought back to theevidence.
Look at how far we've come.
Look at how far you've come.
Look at how far you've come.
What are you three feet awayfrom in this life?

(01:09):
You have all of the tools andability to get there.
You have everything you alreadyneed to push to those
additional three feet.
It might take a week, it mighttake a year.
It might take a week, it mighttake a year.
It might take a couple years, but don't stop, especially if
it's something that's soconnected to your heart.

(01:33):

(02:16):
role in that.
Thank you for tuning in andlet's win today.
What if you were only three feetaway from a dream and you gave
up?
What if you had gone so far tothen discover that you were only
three feet away fromaccomplishing everything that

(02:39):
you'd ever dreamed of?
Here's a quote for you Beforesuccess comes to most people,
they are sure to meet with muchtemporary defeat and perhaps
some failure.
When faced with defeat, theeasiest and most logical thing
to do is quit.
That is exactly what themajority of people do.
More than 500 of the mostsuccessful people America has

(03:04):
ever known told the author abouttheir greatest success, came
just one step beyond the pointat which defeat had overtaken
them.
Failure is a trickster with akeen sense of irony and cunning.
It takes great delight intripping one up when success is

(03:25):
within reach.
It takes great delight intripping one up when success is
almost within reach.
That is from Think and GrowRich, a book that many of you
are likely familiar with and oneof the oldest books that still

(03:45):
to this day, over five decadeslater, is often referenced in
inspirational speeches all overthe world.
And teachings about how tooptimize your mindset, how to
push past temporary obstacles, how to avoid the Q word.

(04:06):
I don't even like saying itunless I'm bringing up a quote
because, quite frankly, don'tbelieve in it, especially when
it comes to pursuing your dreams.
If it's really that importantto you, it's only a matter of
time.
If it's really that importantto you, it's only a matter of

(04:26):
time, it's a matter of when.
It's never a matter of if.
It's simply a matter of whenthere's a story behind the quote
that I just mentioned and beingthree feet away from your
dreams, which we'll get to.
But where this came up was acouple of weeks ago.
I was at the Aspire TourConference in Charlotte, north

(04:50):
Carolina, with my girlfriend andone of my best friends, and it
was really neat.
The opening speakers came outand shared a story about going
all in, about going all in, andone of the opening speakers was
on American Idol and shared hiswhat was an onstage failure that

(05:19):
he had practiced a songthousands of times and knew this
thing backwards.
Could have sang it backwards ifhe wanted to and it came time
to get on stage.
Could have sang it backwards ifhe wanted to and it came time
to get on stage on American Idoland there's millions of viewers
and he forgets the lyrics.
So something he had sangthousands of times, he forgets
the lyrics.
And what does he do in thatmoment?
He rolls with it.
He starts singing gibberish fora few lines and makes it look

(05:46):
like that was part of the song.
Not literally gibberish, as inhe's not saying real words.
But he just started rollingwith whatever came out of his
mouth and kept his composure, kept going and has turned out to
be a huge reality TV star.
And another woman came up withhim and they really set the

(06:11):
stage for the day about goingall in, no matter what happens,
no matter the circumstances, nomatter if you forget the lyrics,
no matter if you get turneddown.
You're all in on your dreams.
It was really neat to be at thistour because we got to hear

(06:31):
from some of the most renownedpeople in the personal
development space and a few thatare often talked about on this
podcast, those being Ed Miletand David Goggins, two of my
absolute favorites, especiallyEd Milet.

(06:52):
I love to model my speakingafter him and we so happen to
have very similar stories andmotivation.
It was really cool to hear fromhim in person and just
experience his energy live, after watching literally every
keynote he's given on YouTube orpretty close to literally damn

(07:15):
near every single one, and thenseeing it really inspiring.
And then David Goggins, watching a ton of his videos,
just as I'm sure many of youhave.
Seeing him in person and seeingthe energy live and up close
was nothing short of inspiring, and all of those folks that were

(07:36):
on stage, including Ed Milet, david Goggins, cody Sanchez,
another really big name.
There's a common thread, thatthere's many common threads, but
one that links them is thatthey all faced very unique
obstacles that could havejustified quitting the Q word.

(08:00):
They could have very easilyjustified no longer pursuing
their path, and we may neverhave got to read Can't Hurt Me
or Never Finished, or heardabout the power of one more from
Ed Milet that we're one dayaway, one more rep away from our
greatest dreams.
One more rep away from ourgreatest dreams.

(08:23):
Ed Milet talks about how in hisearliest days, having the power
and water shut off in hisapartment and him and his now
wife had to go and shower in thecommunity pool area in the
apartment.
Imagine if he gave up Some ofthe most notable names that we

(08:46):
talk about globally.
What if they gave up when theywere three feet away from their
dream?
So what is this three feet awayanalogy and rather story.
And going back to the opener atthe Aspire Tour in Think and
Grow Rich, which I just pulled astory from, there's a story

(09:12):
right there at the verybeginning, about being three
feet away from your dream.
So back in the days of gold, back in the heavy gold mining
days in the US, there was agentleman by the name of RU
Darby who later became one ofthe most successful life

(09:34):
insurance agents in the countryand eventually made millions.
His uncle had stumbled upon amine in which they believed that
they were about to strike itrich.
He saw a shining ore out ofthis mine.
He covered it up to make sureno one knew that there's gold

(09:57):
here and traced his steps backto his home, made some phone
calls to Darby his nephew beingone of them that you've got to
get to Colorado, we're going tostrike it rich.
We've got to buy all of thisheavy machinery and equipment
because we've got our mind we'regoing to get all the gold out

(10:18):
there and never have to workanother day in our lives.
So they spend tens of thousandsof dollars in machinery and back
in the early 1900s tens ofthousands of dollars is
equivalent to probably nowhundreds of thousands of dollars
worth of equipment, sosignificant investment.

(10:38):
And they start digging and theyget excited because they found
the shiny ore and just a littlebit, just a little bit, and got
to experience a little quickhigh, got a quick win, not
millions, but they definitelybelieved that they were onto

(11:00):
something.
They had some evidence thatthis is going to be great.
So, after days and weeks ofdigging, they come to believe
that maybe this isn't the goldmine that we thought it was.
We've been digging tirelessly, working tirelessly with this

(11:24):
machinery, and we're coming upon nothing.
Therefore, maybe it was just apipe dream, maybe this isn't the
spot.
And they were frustrated Darby'suncle's frustrated and decided
you know what, maybe this isn'tit.
This is silly.

(11:44):
We're wasting our time.
Now we're giving up this stupidequipment.
Maybe it's the equipment'sfault.
And they sold the equipment fora few hundred dollars to a
gentleman that didn't have muchcapital but he believed.
And what did he do?

(12:08):
He leveraged some relationships, he built an army of who's who,
not how and he found anengineer to go get a second look
at this ore.
And this engineer, unbeknownstto Darby and his nephew or his

(12:30):
uncle rather, they just didn'tknow where the fault lines were
and this engineer showed thisnew gentleman who just bought
this equipment for a few hundreddollars.
Oh yeah, no, we're actuallyreally, really, really close.
It's just these guys before youdidn't know how the fault lines
worked.
So, sure enough, this guy thatjust spent a few hundred dollars

(12:50):
on equipment from the folksthat gave up on a dream ended up
striking gold to the millions,multi-millions, made an absolute
fortune and only had to dig forthree feet.
Three feet Now.

(13:12):
Imagine what Darby and hisuncle are thinking when they
find out about this that theywere three feet away from a
dream.
Imagine getting so close to afinish line and then stopping

(13:32):
just turning around.
Maybe this isn't for me.
Imagine running a marathon andyou've got a time goal.
You realize that, ah, I don'tthink I'm going to be able to
hit it, and you stop at mile 24,2.2 miles away, like I don't

(13:54):
think I could push those other2.2.
That's crazy.
What are you three feet awayfrom in your life?
Imagine this I'm listening to abook right now about Steve Jobs
, who is the founder of AppleYou're probably listening to

(14:14):
right now that we use day in andday out may not have ever

(14:36):
existed.
Steve Jobs was fired from Apple.
He got fired from his owncompany.
Imagine that Now.
He was very intense.
What Steve saw, not many otherssaw, but he was damned if he
was going to give up and even ifthat was at the cost of a few

(14:57):
people getting ran over.
Now I'm going to stick more tothe fact that he believed in
himself and this product andthis vision so much.
I don't agree with how hetreated some folks, but his
sense of belief was unshakable.

(15:18):
So imagine if he stopped aftergetting fired from Apple.
A lot of the tension thatpeople experienced there was
because people just didn't seewhat he saw.
It took a long time for them tounderstand what Steve could
understand and see in seconds, and that was part of the

(15:41):
disconnect.
Here's another one.
Many of you are likely HarryPotter fans, but even if you're
not, you know exactly who HarryPotter is and you know that
there's multiple books.
And you know who JK Rowling is.
Here's what you might not knowabout JK Rowling Her idea of

(16:03):
Harry Potter and the story.
And now the theme park, themovies.
Everything was turned down byseveral publishers.
They thought the idea was silly.
Now tens of millions of copiesof that book has been sold.

(16:24):
There's a theme park.
Why?
Because she was unshakable anddidn't stop when she was three
feet away from gold.
Going back to Apple, mostvaluable company in the world
worth over $3 trillion, couldhave got stopped three feet away

(16:45):
from gold.
Michael Jordan not many peopleknow that he got cut from his
high school basketball team.
Greatest basketball player ofall time, six-time NBA champion,
sponsored by Nike, has his ownclothing brand that brings in, I

(17:07):
believe, $100 million a yearnow.
Brand that brings in, I believe, $100 million a year now.
Just the Jordan brand.
Another thing that people, evenif you don't love basketball or
follow basketball everybodyknows Michael Jordan.
Everybody knows the Jordan logo.
What if he thought thatbasketball wasn't for him after
he got cut wasn't for him afterhe got cut?

(17:34):
Would the Jordan brand exist?
Would the greatest basketballplayer of all time be known by
the entire world, even by peoplethat don't know and follow
basketball?
Disney Walt Disney was told helacked imagination and nobody
would fall for some mouse.
Silly.
Who would fall for some mouseand think that this mouse is

(17:58):
going to be what unites theworld and brings people together
?
Disney did.
Did he give up?
No, was he three feet away fromgold when people told him this
is silly?
Yeah, so imagine that, that themost notable names in the world

(18:22):
, some of the most iconic brandsin the world, were faced, were
encountered, were confrontedwhen they were three feet away
from gold and imagine what wouldhave happened if they would
have been convinced that maybethe idea is not good enough,
maybe we just don't have it.
What does it come down to?

(18:42):
Unshakable belief.
Belief in themselves and theirproduct, or what they had to
offer, their story, their book, whatever the case may be, the
scoreboard didn't matter to them.

(19:06):
Discipline is a key component ofthis podcast and a key thing
that we preach.

sessions where you're going tolearn from either myself or a
suite of renowned guests manywho have been on the podcast

(20:10):
that are going to share piecesof their winning playbooks
directly with you.
I've learned that being a partof groups over the years has
helped propel me to so many newlevels in life.
If you want to go fast, go alone.
If you want to go far, then gotogether, and it's my wish that

(20:33):
the Unshakable Crew is a choicethat makes sense for you in 2025

then join the Unshakeable crew.
Go to unshakabledisciplinecomand you can sign up.
It is also in the show notesUnshakeable shake, as in

(21:35):
milkshakeunshakabledisciplinecom, and
we're excited to have you in2025.
Let's go Meaning that, if youlook at the scoreboard, with
Steve Jobs getting fired fromApple when they were developing

(21:58):
the iPhone.
Then Google came out withAndroid.
There were antitrust suits.
He was losing on the scoreboard.
If you look at that, you getfired.
That's a huge loss to somepeople.
The scoreboard shows damn, theother team is up.

(22:19):
Jk Rowling Harry Potterscoreboard.
Your idea is silly.
No one's going to buy thisHarry Potter.
What the heck is?
That Didn't matter.
The scoreboard doesn't matter.
What matters is what youbelieve you can achieve and what

(22:41):
you're capable of, and what youbelieve that this can do to
benefit the world.
How can this benefit people?
The hell with the scoreboardfrom other people.
You're the captain of the ship.
I'm fired up.
I think about what I'm threefeet away from, and here's what

(23:04):
I believe.
I'm three feet away from takingthis podcast and the Unshakable
Discipline Mastermind Group andthe Unshakable Crew full-time.
I'm three feet away fromsitting directly across from
some of the most notable peoplein the world, creating powerful

(23:28):
conversations face-to-face, inperson, the Win Today podcast
eventually becoming in personwith an incredible studio.
I'm three feet away fromcaptivating tens of thousands of
people every year with keynotespeeches.
I'm three feet away fromeventually publishing a book

(23:53):
that captures all of theseexperiences and knowledge into a
tangible product that peoplecan hold on to for decades.
I'm three feet away fromcreating a lasting legacy for my
family.
I'm three feet away fromconverting this dream that has

(24:18):
been on the side of my corporatecareer into what I get to do
every day, all day.
Three feet away from it, threefeet away from it.
It, three feet away from it.
Three feet away from it.
Why do I believe that One?

(24:38):
Because I look at the one, because it's what's in my heart.
It's what drives me day in andday out.
It's the thing that I am mostcertain about in this life.
It's the purpose that I'm mostclear on.
This is why the big man has mehere, and I'm fully convinced

(24:59):
about that.
No doubt in my mind.
Why do I believe I'm three feetaway?
The evidence is too strong tosuggest otherwise.
Wynn today is now in the top 2%of globally downloaded podcasts
.

(25:19):
Four years ago, this was nothing.
This was me and a laptop and nomic, no light, not being a
great interviewer.
This was nothing.
Here we are now.
The online course was nothing.

(25:41):
Two years ago, it was a dream.
I've been writing about it foryears and, quite frankly, played
a little scared for a while.
What if no one buys it?
Here we are now.
Now it's a product.
Now there's 10 people enrolledin the mastermind group.
What evidence do you have?
Four years ago more than fouryears ago, but around that time

(26:03):
frame I launched this because Ithought I was going to lose my
dad, genuinely thought I wasgoing to lose my dad.
His birthday is August 1st.
I launched one day on July 31st2018, with nothing but a

(26:24):
passion project and a desire tokeep my dad around for one more
day, and that's led to severalpaid speaking engagements,
several podcast opportunities.
It's led to dozens of people, many of who I don't even know,

(26:47):
reaching out letting me know howa talk impacted them, how it's
changed their life, how thesepodcast episodes are helping
them.
How these podcast episodes havehelped them in their recovery
journeys.
How it's helped them withmoving past therapy.

(27:09):
How it's helped them push theirbody, mind and spirit further
and harder than they ever haverunning marathons, running ultra
marathons, running 5Ks, 10ks,pushing their body and mind to
the limit that they didn'tbelieve possible.
How this mastermind group ishelping people stay committed to

(27:30):
what they told their familythat they struggled with for
years.
Sure, I could look at themetrics and see that I don't
have millions of likes anddownloads and tens of thousands
of people commenting on mythings like the biggest names do
.
But I've got enough evidence tosupport that we're on to

(27:57):
something here and you likelyhave more evidence than you
believe you do.
Sometimes we don't look backand we don't look back at the
evidence that we have.
How many times has somebodycomplimented you on your
abilities?
Or let's say that you'rewanting to launch your own
podcast?

(28:17):
Or you've got a podcast andit's growing right now.
You've got dreams of itbecoming a big thing, but you're
not so sure.
How many times have peoplereached out and said man, that
was a great episode.
Keep them coming.
That is all the evidence youneed.
Someone believes in you and youbelieve in your vision and
mission, or else you wouldn'tput this stuff out there.

(28:38):
What evidence do you have?
Let's look at it without anysort of quantifiable figure.
What evidence do you have interms of who were you one year
ago today, two years ago, threeyears ago, versus who are you
now?
What differences have you made?
What improvements have you made?
Rather, have you dropped somebad habits?

(29:00):
Do you stay more focused?
Do you see that, oh, you knowwhat.
I'm actually staying morecommitted to the things that I
wrote down.
It's so often to lose sight ofthe evidence we have, because we
often look at the externalfigures we look at.
Well, this guy's got a hundredlikes and 5,000 downloads per

(29:22):
episode.
He's got it more figured out.
You don't know that.
You know one thing I've come tofind after interviewing some of
these big names and buildingrelationships with them they ask
the same questions we do andthey have the same doubts that
we do.
They have the same doubts thatwe do.

(29:43):
They have the same internalbattles.
Most of the time.
The only differences or ratherone of the differences can be is
that they just don't stop.
I say I'm three feet away, andthat three feet away might be a
year from now, it might be fiveyears from now, it might be 10
years from now, but those thingsI'm three feet away from, mark
my words will absolutely happen.

(30:04):
This will become a full-time,unshakable discipline in the
mastermind groups, whether itstays that name or it evolves
into something completelydifferent that I don't know
about yet, will change thousandsof lives per year and will be
what I'm doing full time.
I'll be on countless stages allover the country, maybe even

(30:26):
internationally, sharing themessage of how goal setting and
being clear on what you want andbuilding systems and unshakable
discipline is the key tocreating anything that you want
in this life.
And I'm so glad this is onvideo because and just along
with all the other lessonsbecause this is stuff that I'm

(30:52):
so excited to share whenever weget three feet closer.
Sahil Bloom just released hisbook the Five Types of Wealth,
and we're going to have him onour book club next week, so if
you're listening to this andwould like to participate in
that, please let me know.
But he said something at thebeginning of the year that hit

(31:17):
my heart.
You are one year away frompeople saying that you got lucky
.
You are one year away frompeople saying that you got lucky
, which means that you can makethis an absolutely
transformational year in 2025 ifyou just keep the foot on the

(31:42):
gas pedal, no matter what.
I don't want any of you to stopdoing what you're doing,
especially the thing that youfeel so connected to in your
heart, because maybe you don'thave enough likes, maybe you
don't have, you're just it's notgrowing as fast as you thought.
Quite frankly, I thought I wasalready going to have about 30
or so people in my group by now.

(32:03):
We're not there yet Yet.
Keyword yet.
Is there any thought of givingup?
Absolutely not.
Are there some doubts that creepin?
Yes, absolutely.
We'll be fully transparentabout that.
There are some doubts.
Maybe it's not right, but theconversation with that voice is

(32:24):
then brought back to theevidence.
Look at how far we've come.
Look at how far you've come.
Look at how far you've come.
What are you three feet awayfrom in this life?
You have all of the tools andability to get there.

(32:44):
You have everything you alreadyneed to push to those
additional three feet.
It might take a week, it mighttake a year, it might take a
couple years, but don't stop, especially if it's something
that's so connected to yourheart.
The only person that I don'twant you to meet in this life
just like I don't want to meetthis person either the only

(33:04):
person I don't want you to meetis the person that you could
have become.
I believe that's the only thingto be fearful of in this life
is meeting the person you couldhave become.
Because you stopped, becauseyou didn't believe that you had
the tools.
You have the tools.
You didn't believe you have theability.
People like Tim Cook, mj, jk,disney yes, they had some

(33:29):
brilliance in their minds, butif you put that away for a
minute, if you boil it down tothe simplest, simplest principle
, they didn't stop and they hadunshakable belief, and that is
absolutely essential to pushingpast these next three feet and
winning today.

(33:49):
Thanks so much, thank you.
