Stuart (00:00):
Hey, welcome to winning without
college, as you can probably tell.
(00:03):
This is a different video setup.
This is a different style.
If you're listening on the podcast,I don't know how it's going to
turn out yet to be quite honest.
But if you're watching on video, you're going to see there's a whole
different style to what's happening herebecause this video is all about how.
Well, I F dub.
Pretty much that's, that's thebest way that I can say it.
(00:24):
And not because it was intentional and notbecause I didn't know what I was doing.
I think it was because I was so
focused on trying to get it right.
That, that I screwed up.
And I got into my own head, you know, where you get into
those moments where you just go.
I need this this way or I, I,I want it to be just right.
(00:45):
And you spent so much time tryingto, to, to, to get it right.
That.
You start taking advice.
And so you, you reach out to somebody.
And then they told you,you got to do this.
Oh, okay.
That's fine.
So what I did is I went and I, I spent aweek or 10 days or two weeks or whatever,
kind of redoing everything to makesure that I had all these components.
And then I was like, all right, I'm good.
(01:06):
And I move forward a little bit.
And then all of a sudden I go,wait, I just, I just got this
advice and that's a great idea.
So I'm going to do it all over again.
'cause I want, I want tomake sure I get this in there
because this is such good stuff.
And then I go on back over thereand I was like, oh, wait a minute.
Maybe this is the wrong path.
Maybe I don't want to go to this route.
Maybe this is a bad thing.
So.
And so I did all that.
(01:26):
I went down this ridiculous path.
And what I probably did.
Is, I probably did something, which is one of the worst
things that I think you can do.
Um, I started working with consultants.
Okay.
Um, because I've had a lot ofsuccess in the business world.
I've had a lot of success in the,uh, in the marketing world, in the
entrepreneurship world, but what I'mabout to do, what, I'm, what, I'm, what
(01:47):
I'm getting into this coaching and stuffis something I've never done before.
You know, I've never donethis kind of social media.
You know, content creation for you.
To get followers and stuff.
Now, when I worked in marketingat the casino, it's stuff
like that, we developed.
Uh, social media campaigns and stuff, but I mostly worked with, um, ad
agencies at the time they did that.
I was high level strategy.
(02:08):
They did the tactical kind ofstuff and they brought ideas back.
And so, um, and, and it was great.
So I felt like I knew how to do it, butknowing what needs to be done and actually
doing it are two different things.
Right.
So.
I hired these coaches.
And I said, I need help withcreating YouTube videos.
I need help creating Instagram reels andstories and tik toks and stuff like that.
(02:31):
How do I get my message across.
In 60 seconds.
How do I, um, say the right things?
How do I not screw things up?
You know?
And, and I started talking to thesepeople and they had these formulas,
they had these, these really.
Practical.
You know, we'll research well-developedformulas and they say, look
at what this person is doing.
And look at what that person is doing.
You see how these two videos have thesethings in common, but what you need to
(02:55):
do is make your videos just like that.
And so that's what I started doing.
I started recording videos, editing videos, adding music
of fast jump cuts, subtitles.
Um, all those things that, thatthey say that you need to do.
All those things that, um, Thatyou're supposed to put on a Instagram
(03:15):
real to go viral, all the thingsthat you're supposed to say.
That people want to hear.
And I started doing all thatand I put them up on Instagram.
You may have seen some,I put them up on YouTube.
If you're not, you cango back and look at it.
I actually thought about erasing themall because they're so off center
from where I actually want to be.
But I was like, you know, no,um, I'm all about transparency.
(03:35):
And I want to show people, you know, a before and after.
So like, if you go and look at mystuff before this video, you'll see
a completely different side of thingsand you will see moving forward.
Um, I'm not about hiding the truth, you know, we want to make sure
that you can see what what's up.
But it was a lot of it is just likestuff that you can get anywhere.
Because that is what they, they said.
If you want to go viral.
(03:56):
Do this, this is whateveryone else is doing.
And it's just like this copypaste, regurgitate kind of a thing.
And there were some commentson YouTube and on Instagram and
all these different formats.
They've actually called me out on that.
And I'm glad that they did because itreally was one of those wake up calls ago.
You know what?
I don't know where I got so off track onwhat I wanted to do that I'm, I'm waive
(04:17):
further than anything that I wanted to do.
It goes against my instincts.
It goes against my intuition to doall this stuff, but these guys were
saying, that's what you have to do.
So that's what I did.
But it ended up being not about thestories that I wanted to tell and
about the experiences that I had.
It's about dumbing it down to create.
The.
The most broad, but yet welldefined audience possible.
(04:40):
And, and moving forward.
And that was just, and thatwould, it just wasn't me.
It never really sat.
Right.
Even when I was doing it,but yet I continued to do it.
And, um, And now I'm just fed up.
So after I decided that I went intothis, I spent another two or three weeks
just kind of going like, what the hell?
I just wasted all this time.
All this energy, all this effort.
(05:01):
I'm putting out really crappy.
Crappy content, really generic, really watered down kind of stuff.
What am I going to do?
And it just kind of hit me.
It's like, I'm going to do things my way.
I'm going to do things theway that I wanted to do them.
I'm going to focus on the content and I'mnot going to focus on the jazz and pizazz.
And which was really great.
What was really, as I was thinkingabout this, what was really,
(05:23):
really awesome about this timing?
Is that run around then is when AlexHormozi started talking about creating,
um, Videos that were less flairy.
You know, it started creatingjust more authentic, real videos.
I was already kind of going down thatpath and then he made that announcement.
That he's going to do this.
And I was like, great.
(05:43):
That's awesome.
That's going to like help mebuild some credibility with what
I wanted to do to begin with.
The problem is all theseother coaches still there.
They're still on this old formulabecause that's what they taught.
That's what they were teaching.
And there's nothing wrong with that.
I think that it's still great, butnow at least I have someone else on
my side that, um, can help me get towhere I want to go or produce more
(06:07):
content the way that I wanted to do it.
Um, and, and I think that's fairbecause as we go through life,
We're always going to create OBS.
We're always going to come upagainst obstacles, not creating them.
I hope we're not creating.
I hope we're not getting inour own way that that happens.
And that's a whole different story, butI hope, you know, Let me put it this way.
The world has enough obstacles infront of it where we don't need to
(06:28):
be creating our own on top of it.
You know, so we need to get back intothis, into this world where we're this.
So I'm getting back to my roots.
I want to get back into thiswinning without college concept
of talking about what it is thatI did and how it changes you.
That's why, when we talk about thesefake coaches and we talk about these
fake consultants and stuff like that.
Um, I want to make a coupleof things perfectly clear.
(06:50):
Okay.
First off, there are a lot ofgreat coaches that are out there.
There are a lot of great businessconsultants that are out there.
There are a lot of great people thatprovide true value for their clients.
There are a lot of them.
But.
There are a handful of people.
That are taking advantage ofwhat is a very unregulated.
(07:14):
Industry coaching.
Okay.
I don't know if you know this.
But to call yourself a coach.
Has no criteria, no merit, no bearing.
On on calling yourself a coach.
They're the, the industryis regulated zero.
Not at all.
(07:34):
Anybody can call themselves a coach.
And even some of these otherpeople that I talked to that call
themselves coaches, they say.
All you need to know is just a littlebit more than the person that you're
teaching because you're coaching them.
And it was like, okay, maybe.
That's more like a mentorship or code, you know, but that's what they're saying.
And I said, I gotta be better than that.
(07:54):
You know why?
Because the people I want to work with,I want them to be better than that.
So I voluntarily lookedinto saying, what can I do?
To stand out and really say I'm justnot another one of those coaches.
What can I do to make myself stand out?
And I came across, what's called theICF is the international coaching
Federation and they seem to bethe primary, the gold standard.
(08:16):
For credentialing and accreditationin the coaching industry.
And it's recognized around the world.
And it's totally voluntary.
All it's saying is you haveextra levels of training.
You, you know, we're going throughmind exercises, psychology issues.
We talked about how to be ableto get from point a to point B.
So that way we aren'twasting our client's time.
(08:37):
That way we actually candeliver real promises.
You know, that way we can actuallysay when we're done that they
are better off than they were.
Coaching is by definition orby example, I want to use that.
You've all heard that phrase, the, the teacher man to fish.
Uh, thing.
What does it teach her man?
Give a man, a fish.
You feed him for a dayteacher, man, to fish.
(08:58):
You feed him for a lifetime.
Um, so coaching is teaching a man to fish.
You know, we're going to gothrough this and we're not
going to tell you what to do.
I'm not going to tell you what to do.
Coaches don't do that.
Coaches help you figure it out.
Coach's give you that mindset, the skillset, the coaches ask
questions that will get you thinkingbecause I can't get into your head.
I'm not a psychologist.
I don't know everything about your past.
(09:20):
But by answering, asking them, butby asking the right questions, You
can in your head take everythingthat you know, all of your
experiences, all of your strengths.
Get all up in there.
And I said, you know what?
I see a way that I can do it becauseyou know, your skillset, you know, your
strengths, you know, your weaknesses, youknow, the tools that you have available to
(09:42):
you, you know, all the stuff that I don't.
It's my job to get that out of you.
To get you thinking about how youcan apply it in your own life.
Coaches are not consultants.
Consultants come in there witha specialized skillset and say,
if you want this, then this ishow you have to do 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,
and then they keep you on track.
Like, did you do this?
Did you do that?
(10:02):
Did you do that?
We don't do that.
Coaches don't do that.
You know, we're here to help youdevelop that mindset to where you
can start to fish on your own.
To where you can.
Develop that that eye-openingprocess in your mind.
And.
And applied in your life.
On your own, where you can recognize howto get out of certain situations on your
(10:23):
own, because you've had that training.
That's what coaching is is doing for you.
That's what the ICF teachesis what they stand by.
And these other coaches, they're more consultants.
They're more telling you what to do.
You know, have you ever heardthem would say, well, if it were
me, this is what I would do.
You know, that's, that'snot a coach's role.
I'm not here to tell you what to do.
I'm here to help youfigure it out on your own.
(10:43):
These are the kinds of thingsthat the ICF talks about.
This is what real coaches do.
Okay.
So I'm going through the ICF coaching.
Because I think it's a valuableskill that's going to help you.
Is it required for me to be a coach?
No, not at all, but I'm doing itbecause it's going to help you.
It's helping me.
It's going to help you the more thanI know, the more that I can help
you, the more it's going to help you.
(11:05):
Got it?
So anyways.
I got sick and tired of allthe advice from the coaches.
I got tired of them saying, youneed to copy this session and
you need a copy of this thing.
And, um, and I was like, I, why am Itaking advice from these fake coaches?
People who are half my age, who've never done it before.
You know, in today's day and age youschool, tik tok, scroll these things.
It's really easy to find fake peoplepretending to be someone they're not.
(11:28):
You know where they go?
Oh, look at me.
I'm 21 years old and Imake $300,000 a month.
Um, re posting Instagramreels or this and that.
And it's like, really?
I don't think so.
You know, in LA I livedin LA for like 12 years.
In LA, there is a place where youcan rent for like $50 an hour.
And it's a fake airplane.
And you can go into this airplane andthey'll give you champagne and they'll
(11:51):
put you in the seats and all theseinfluencers will go in there and take
their selfies and do all this stuffon this fake plane to make it look
like they're flying private in theirprivate planes and their private cars
and all this other kinds of stuff.
It's all fake.
It's all made up.
You can go there for $50 an hour andlive this online life and tell people
that, you know what you're doing.
(12:11):
But that doesn't count.
That's not real life.
That's that's that fake coaching, that fake influencing that I got
sucked into and I'm just fed up with.
And I'm here to tellyou that that's not me.
You know, I've had it stuff like allthe photos that you're going to see.
Of on my website of me traveling eversince I've, I've kind of semi retired or
whatever, quit working four years ago.
(12:32):
You know, I've been traveling full time.
So the vans RVs that I've been in or onmine, the boats, you know, I love boating.
Um, I'd love to get back into it at somepoint around there, the people that I met
with the photos that you're going to see,you know, uh, uh, of, of celebrities that
I've worked with, um, that's all real.
Those are, those are all things thatI've done that I want to be able to
take and, and explain, and to showyou how all that happened, you know,
(12:55):
I'm not staging any of these things.
None of that is just, um, I just,I don't, I don't understand why
I don't understand how people.
Desire fame and fortune so much.
That they have to stage these photos.
Of them on private planes anddoing all this kinds of stuff.
I've got photos of me on private planes.
(13:16):
I've flown all that and stuffbefore, but those are all real.
Those are all like fun stuff.
Um, I was part of that jet suitemovement even before there was a
jet suite movement, you know, thatwas the chartering flights and the
group flights and the organize you.
What kinds of stuff like that?
That's kind of what got me intothe travel bug to begin with.
You know, flying on there.
G on the G five.
Did Chicago or on theking airs to Vegas or to.
Uh, Arizona or wherever that, Imean, that was all, some fun stuff.
(13:40):
And I can't wait to getback into doing it again.
And that should be a great goal.
You know, so, um, I just, I just.
am frustrated.
Then I got myself so far off trackand I should've known better.
I should've known better.
So moving forward here.
What you're going to get.
I'm just kinda went through my notes here.
Bullet points.
(14:00):
That's another thing.
I'm bullet pointing everything.
I'm not writing scripts down.
I'm not I'm reading the way that I usedto in the past, because in the past,
these coaches said you got to writeout and choose every word so carefully.
And bold the ones thatyou want to enunciate.
Uh, in your, in your videos, because those are the ones
that you want to like make big.
Um, I'm in the mindset now of like,if you can't figure out, what's
(14:23):
important to say in your videos, Thenyou shouldn't be making the video.
Anyways, I got thebullet points right here.
So, what are you going to be gettingfor me is just more of this kind
of content, more raw content.
Just you and me sittinghere having a conversation.
Cause that's what I'm tryingto build this inner circle.
Group that I'm about to talkto you about here in a second
is based off of this concept.
(14:44):
It's just based off of true authenticityand actually getting real work done.
Okay.
So I'm trying to, let mesee where I'm at here.
This video.
Is all about.
Trying to.
Explain where my mindset was.
So that way you understand thiscrap, that's come out in the past.
Now moving forward.
I'm going to be doing morecontent, more like this, but
(15:06):
we're going to go even deeper.
And this is a thing that I wanted to do.
That everybody else said, no, don't do it.
It's not going to work.
But we're going to do it anyways.
You know why?
Because I can.
So I'm finally launching theinner circle, which is exciting.
You can go read about it at.
Uh, w uh, on my website.
Uh, winning withoutcollege.com/inner circle.
I N N E R C I R C L E.
(15:27):
www.winniewithoutcollars.com.
I don't believe I just did that.
Www that's like, I seepeople do that nowadays.
And I go, what were youborn in the eighties?
Which I was, but that one go.
Actually I was born in the seventies.
When did that one go?
Okay.
Winning without college.com/inner circle.
Go to it.
Because that's going tobe my membership site.
That's where, uh, we're goingto be spending a lot of time.
(15:47):
That's where I'm going to be.
See, I believe that coaching and andhelp, um, has to evolve and adapt.
And I haven't seen coaches.
I haven't really seen anyone do that.
We live now in an on demand societywhere I want to watch the TV shows that
I want to watch what I want to watch it.
I remember when growing up being younger,we would always have to rush home by seven
o'clock or rush home by eight o'clock.
(16:08):
If we wanted to see whateverwas on TV, then the VCR.
Came out.
Have you see our changed?
The world was a game changer becausewe can record, we can program.
Our VCR to record a show.
So we wouldn't have to be home right ateight o'clock when that show came on.
But then you're always finger you'recrossing your fingers and hoping that
you didn't screw up the programmingof the VCR to record the wrong channel
or, or mix up am and PM, or do whateverthe stuff that was back in the day.
(16:32):
Now we're have DVR'd or then came DVRs.
And that was a little more easywhere you have these things.
And now we have just on demand.
And that's where I thinkcoaching needs to be.
And the model that I'm using oncoaching on this on-demand coaching
is this concept right here.
If you have a problem.
You're looking for answer right now.
(16:53):
If you have a question abouta decision you have to make
in business or in your life.
You want.
Somebody to bounce an ideaoff of you want it right now.
You can we working with the coach, but if you're only talking to your
coach once a month or once everyother week or something like that,
Um, You're kind of on your own.
You know, you.
You know, what's the point ofhaving somebody, if they're not even
there for you when you need them.
(17:14):
So that's what the inner circle is.
Inner circle is a membership programwhere you can log in and that's where
I'm going to be spending most of my time.
Instead of me booking out one-on-onesessions or doing this high
ticket coaching kinds of stuff.
I'm just going to be hanging out there.
If I'm sitting around and I got nothingto do, I'm always going to be logged
in because part of the inner circle, there's a always on 24, 7 video chat
where you can hop in and hop out.
And that's why I'm going to be.
So if you're trying to think ofsomething or there's an opportunity,
(17:36):
maybe I'm you just got a new job offer.
You're trying to decide to take it.
Or you're Mo you're trying to figure outa project on this or that or whatever, and
you just want to talk through some things.
That's when you log in, you loginto the inner circle and then
you see who's in the video chatand maybe I'm going to be there.
Maybe some other people are goingto be there, but sometimes it
just helps to talk to somebody.
(17:57):
Somebody that's like-mindedsomebody that understands, struggle.
Somebody that's going through the samething and together, the two of you or
the three of us whoever's in the room.
Can chat it out.
And it's going to be always there.
So that's what the innercircle is going to have.
Then there's going to be groups andchats where you can leave questions.
You can chat just like any other forumgroup, where you have other like-minded
individuals kind of talking throughdifferent problems or different.
(18:18):
Uh, scenarios.
Really what we're looking for, really, what I want is this really bold
dynamic community of forward-thinkers.
Helping each other out, bothlearning from each other.
It's really.
Uh, what it would be considered amastermind class and a lot of different
situations, but more free-flowing.
It's about what needs to be happened, because here's the thing I'm going to
go back to this new year's resolution.
Um, V concept that I was usedearlier in another video.
(18:41):
I don't believe in new year'sresolutions, because I don't want to
wait to January to fix something aboutmyself that I know that is broken.
I'm going to want to fix it now.
So.
Waiting for your next coaching sessionin two weeks, three weeks, four weeks.
Whenever it's going to be.
You know, why put it off log onand get an answer right away.
(19:01):
Like I'm hoping within hours, youknow, depending upon when you log in
and answer the question, but you needhelp now, I'm going to be there now.
Not, or I want someoneto be there for you now.
That's that's kind of theconcept of the winners circle
or I'm sorry, the inner circle.
I thought about callingit the winner circle.
Beforehand, but I thoughtthat was too generic.
So that's why we're callingit the inner circle.
And in this inner circle.
(19:23):
There's going to just be a bunchof us, always being productive,
always being helpful, alwaysbeing, you know, motivational.
Um, so if you're having a badday or something's happening,
you just log in and get that.
Pick me up for me from other people, the community where your network
always talk about with winning withoutcollege, about having a strong network.
Welcome.
To the network.
Welcome to the inner circle.
That's what we're going to be all about.
(19:44):
And that's what we're goingto be focusing on this route.
Are you pushing on.
So.
That being said.
I want to launch this thing.
And I want to give you a specialdeal for coming in first.
That special deal is a 50%off your membership cost.
And that's going to gountil the end of July.
July 31st or until we reach amaximum number of members, because
(20:06):
there is a critical mass here andthen we'll start our waiting list.
Um, as people leave, then we'll bringmore people on because I want to make
sure that we always have enough room forpeople to get their question to answer.
Enough room for people to not get drownedout, to be noticed, to be appreciated.
We remembered.
Okay.
But it says people leave.
We'll bring people on, but I want tomake sure that there's a, a, um, a cap
to the number of people I can work withbecause that's just basic logic there.
(20:30):
So 50% off if you log on.
If you go to winning withoutcollege.com/inner circle, read
through everything and see allthe stuff that's going to happen.
All the courses, all the questions, everything that's part of the group,
but it's going to continue to evolve.
What you see on that site right nowis only the bare minimum because as we
move forward, we'll keep adding stuff.
(20:50):
What are we going to add?
That's a great question.
Those ideas are gonna come from you.
These ideas are going to, it's goingto be an organically formed thing when
people say, oh, I wish it would do this.
Or I wish it would do that.
We'll add it.
We'll change it.
And we'll see, just kind of wherethe demand and where that need goes.
Um, so not only do you get to be apart of the initial founding of the
inner circle, not only do you get thecheapest price it's ever going to be,
(21:13):
but you're actually going to be ableto help shape the future of it as well.
And that's why when you go on to winningwithout college.com/inner circle, and
you find the promo code in the video, there's a whole thing that just like this,
a short little video that lives it out.
There's a promo code in there.
50% off.
Your membership.
For forever, for as long as you are amember, you're going to get 50% off.
We have three tiers.
(21:34):
Well, actually, he'snot, don't even cheer.
It's everything.
One tier one price.
They're just a three-monthprogram six months in one year.
And you can choose which one youwant to be able to subscribe.
And they're all will renewautomatically unless you cancel,
but you can renew a signup at 30.
Uh, I'm sorry, you can read a sign up.
Uh, three months, six monthsor one year, all three members.
Whichever level you come in at, you'llget half off the, uh, the price.
(21:57):
Um, that's listed using the promo code.
Here's a better part.
Two.
You don't like it.
It's just not for you.
You're in there for a little bit.
Just messaged me.
Hey Stewart, this isn't right,because we're having a 14
day money back guarantee.
There's absolutely no reasonthat you can't give it a shot.
14 day money back guarantee.
100%.
(22:17):
No questions asked.
