Stephen shares a story from his younger years that would set him off on a vocational path of religious scholarship. The three then spend time discussing whether God can be found and whether we can know God - important questions that invite points of agreement and respectful disagreement. Through the discussion we also see a common value of wanting to acquire a conception of God that can profoundly shape how to live a life.
