So Amr is here tonight.
Amor, I hope you're doing betterthan the Brewers.
I hope you're doing better thanthe Brewers.
Tell me you're doing better thisweek than the Brewers are.
(00:44):
It doesn't take much, actually.
You just have to basically showa pulse and you're doing better
than the week.
SPEAKER_03 (00:50):
I think, I think
minus my work being kind of
crazy.
I think I'm doing pretty goodthough.
I think playing both.
SPEAKER_04 (00:57):
Better than the
brewers.
SPEAKER_03 (00:59):
I feel for you guys
right now.
SPEAKER_04 (01:01):
Oh man, it's just
Wisconsin sports, man, at this
point here.
I'm gonna I'm gonna be upset.
I'm gonna be sad.
I'm gonna be irate, and then I'mgonna come to the realization
that this team was neversupposed to do what they already
did.
So I mean, at this point here, they're playing with house
money, as we know and as theydo.
And they have if they've done alot this year with what they've
(01:21):
had.
So I mean, there I'm gonna cometo that realization at some
point right now.
I'm gonna have a lot ofheartbreak and madness.
And uh if they if and if they dolose this series, I'm gonna be
mowing my lawn at like 10o'clock at night.
It's gonna be a whole disaster.
I'm just gonna be, I'm justgonna be causing chaos in the
streets of uh of in the middleof Wisconsin here.
So, anyways, anyways, let's getoff the Brewers.
(01:44):
Let's look at the Packers.
There's some good, there's somegood here.
The Packers get the win.
They get off the schneid, theyget back at it, they beat the
Bengals 27-18.
It was a good win.
And I let's start there.
I just want to ask you thatquestion because there's a lot
of people upset.
It wasn't a good enough win,right?
(02:04):
That's where we kind of talkedabout it last week.
We we kind of hinted at it evenin our minds.
We're like, uh, you know, it's a14-point favorites in this one,
and we want to see the Packersdo that.
We want to see the Packers winthis game by that.
And then I kind of watched itand I said to myself, man, 27 to
18.
Jordan Love plays pretty good.
The offense looks good, thedefense, okay.
(02:28):
Micah Parsons still isn'tplaying like Micah Parsons.
Lucas Van Ness gets hurt.
Zach Tom tells me that he orwell tells everybody that he
blacked out midway through thegame from the pain.
So that's crazy.
We finally saw, and you know youwant to hate that he played, but
you finally actually got to seethe full like offensive line
that you were waiting to see onthe field at the same time.
(02:48):
So I think that was also part ofit.
Josh Jacobs finally has a goodgame.
So I think there was a lot ofgood in this game that I took
away from it.
There, I mean, you can stillthere was some bad, like you can
still say there was some badthis game.
We'll talk about the good andthe bad.
But um, I mean, final outcome ofthis game.
I didn't see it, I didn't feellike it was a bad outcome.
You know, I know we wanted themto win by 14 plus.
(03:08):
I know that's what we're lookingfor.
But when I look at the finalscore here, when I look at what
we saw in the game, executionwas pretty good, special teams
was good.
I mean, all around, I mean, notsaying it was a complete, like
one of the complete games thatwe've been waiting to see, like
complete just dominance, but itwas a good game.
I thought it was a good win.
I thought it was a really goodwin.
SPEAKER_03 (03:25):
I mean, I think um I
think we went into it thinking,
like, man, this team's you know,we've been watching them all
season look really bad.
Cincinnati Bengals had lookedlike terrible with Browning.
They got a new quarterback, quarterback that's a vet who was
able to get the ball out withinless than less than three
seconds.
He was gaining them on within2.13 or something crazy.
His release was insane.
And I think that we wereexpecting, you know, the spread
(03:48):
was 14.5, so we expected totaldomination, right?
And the truth is, I felt likethey had control of the game the
whole time.
Jordan throws a bonehead pick, and it still doesn't impact
them.
You know, they did give up someyards and points at the end of
the game, but at that point Ifelt like the defense was gassed
because they gave up like a10-minute drive for the Bengals
in the second half.
All in all, special teams didplay a lot better.
(04:10):
The the kicker they just signedoff the street did his job
perfectly.
Uh, I know you were saying thatMichael Parsons pie didn't get
on the stat sheet, but if you goback and look, he was extremely
disruptive.
I know that we as Packer fansare expecting this guy to get
you know four sacks a game, right?
Yeah, no, when you're lookingback and you're literally seeing
him being held on almost 90% ofthe plays, it's getting to a
(04:34):
point like where we're watchingthe butt the Philadelphia Eagles
gain a fall do basically doing afalse start every time they do a
touch push and not call it.
Same thing with Michael Parsons,right?
Every time he's out there andhe's rushing, they're holding
the daylights out of him.
I mean, there was some clipsthat Chi Zed TV and Dustin
Everly, Dusty Everly had put up,and I'm just like, holy crap,
like this guy is penetrating, penetrating, and they are just
(04:56):
holding him all day.
And I don't know what Halflyneeds to do to get him on a
one-on-one or something to wherethey don't have a chance to hold
him.
I don't know because it'sgetting ridiculous.
And I'm I'm terrified againstthis Arizona game, not because
I'm worried about the ArizonaCardinals, but the referee for
this game, Alex Moore, I believehis name is, he is number one in
(05:17):
penalties, number one inpenalties per game, number one
in penalties uh overall, andnumber one penalties called.
Like he is just a penalty guyall the way through.
So maybe we'll finally startgetting some holding calls on
Micah because for a guy that youknow we pay a lot of money to, I
feel like he is beingdisruptive, but the refs need to
start calling this game justjust start get at least give
(05:38):
one.
Like, I'm there's plays wherehe's getting his helmet ripped
off, for goodness sake.
But with that standing, I thinkall in all the Packers played
well.
The run game started up again.
I know that the Bengals defense, this is something I'm you know,
really shout out about.
We felt the same way about theCowboys defense, right?
But we did also say that thesegames were gonna be the
get-right games.
Yep.
So I think, and then we also, Ithink Arizona's you know on a
(06:00):
four-game losing streak, andthey have a backup quarterback
in there.
So, you know, there's gonna besome high expectations of us
going to Arizona and blowingthem out.
I I am I'm getting to the pointnow where I'm not even concerned
about a blow up anymore.
I just want them to win.
As long as they win, I don'teven care.
I know it might not be pretty,it may not be, it may not be
domination.
As much as I want that, I justwant them to win.
(06:22):
That's it.
And I want them to win by atleast two scores, so I just feel
comfortable.
But I just want them to keep onething I noticed in this game was
they kept dictating on offense,right?
Man, it was like they kepttrying to like dictate to where
they're pushing the balldownfield.
Golden had a great game, and Ifeel like, you know, they need
to continue doing that.
SPEAKER_04 (06:40):
Yeah, no, I'm right
with you.
I you know, the Micah Parsonsthing, I guess where I was going
in, and it's kind of what yousaid there was he's being held,
he's got all this stuff goingon.
He's disruptive.
I'm not, I don't want to saythat he's not a part of the
game, like like he's verydisruptive.
He's a big reason why thePackers' defense looks good,
just having a guy like him outthere.
Now it's about him, halfly, those guys finding ways to get
(07:01):
him into the backfield to showup.
Like, I love that he's abehind-the-scenes guy, I love
that, but I want to see him bean in-the-scenes guy now, too.
I I want to, you know, I want tosee him be that guy where we saw
him in Dallas being a disruptor, yet being a disruptor, getting a
sack, getting into thebackfield, being that big
presence.
And I think that's gonna comewith two other guys stepping up
(07:23):
exactly because there's a lot ofpressure on him to be the guy
solely.
Now we need a guy like Gary.
Now you need some of these otherguys.
Warren Brinson had a decentgame.
That was interesting to see.
Actually, led him in uh inoverall defensive grade in the
PFF rankings.
He was actually number one inthere, so that was quite
interesting.
So Warren Brinson had a goodgame, maybe that's a guy to step
up, but getting guys back, youknow, if they get Devontae Wyatt
(07:46):
back and you get a guy like thatback on the team, I mean, that's
gonna help out a huge amount forthis Packers team.
So I yeah, I'm right there withyou.
There was a lot of a lot of goodperformances uh in this last
game here against the Bengals ina get right game.
We wanted to see the specialteams do good for once, and we
saw it.
Kind of did, yeah.
I mean, it wasn't like it was, Imean, there was nothing nothing
(08:06):
bad to report, right?
There was nothing, there wasnothing good to report, but
there was nothing bad to report.
They actually had some good kickreturns too.
Uh, a couple savion williams hada couple good kick returns.
I mean, they had good kickreturns in this one, which is
something that they've lacked, Iguess you could say, was
starting with good fieldposition.
And we saw Savion Williams, BullMelton, both guys, they had
(08:27):
longs of 36.
Not bad.
That's not bad.
That's that's not bad at all.
So you you like having you knowgood field position to start
here if you're the Packers, andthat's a step in the right
direction, I guess you couldsay, on the special team side.
So love to see that.
So let's look deeper into thisPackers and Bengals matchup.
Were there any?
I guess we we kind of talkedabout some performances, but
(08:48):
let's start with that offensiveside of the football there.
Was there a performance thatstood out to you?
Any of these receivers, runningback, anything like that,
offensive lineman.
Was there a performance on theoffset offensive side of the
football that stood out to youin this one?
Maybe a couple?
SPEAKER_03 (09:02):
I I think for me,
the biggest thing that the
blocking from the offensiveline, I know Trey Hendrickson
went out with a questionableback injury.
Uh sorry, questionable backinjury.
I say that because he probablyout me and my boy were joking
that he got traded mid-game tothe 49ers.
But the truth is, like, youknow, Hendrickson for the most
part, when he was in there,Slayton was has been having a
(09:23):
pretty good year too.
They didn't really make muchnoise.
There wasn't a lot of pressureon Jordan, and when he did, he
was able to escape.
I think what we did notice was,I mean, yeah, you know, he made
a mistake, but he did also have101 quarterback rating.
I think we're noticing how muchof a difference it makes when
Jordan has his legs to move andactually utilize his ability to
be on mobile and scramblebecause he got first downs, he
(09:45):
bootlegged, he was able to getout of pressure and just
maneuver the pocket as well asjust take what was in front of
him instead of trying to forcethings like he did with that
pick.
I'm gonna keep talking about thepick because I was just really,
really annoyed about it.
Yeah, to just remind me of theNiners game in the playoffs, but
they he was able to bounce backand play.
It was almost like Favre, right?
Like he had to get that pick outof the way just so he could get
(10:07):
back on town on track, right?
It was like that.
But all in all, offensive lineblocked well.
Jordan played, I think, for themost part, pretty well.
And Jacobs, we just saw Jacobs.
I heard was had a flu game, hewas very sick, he was throwing
up, he wasn't feeling well, andhe even he even was quoted
saying to one of his friends, Ithink one of his kids, I think,
uh, I expect to have a twotouchdown, 150 yard game.
(10:28):
That's exactly what he did.
SPEAKER_04 (10:30):
Yeah, that was I
mean, it was a dominant
performance by not a dominant, but the offensive line looked
fantastic, like you're saying,yeah.
And it was something that we'vebeen waiting to see, especially
get the run game going and getJosh Jacobs going, and we
finally saw it in this game.
So, like we just mentionedbefore there, get right games,
getting it going in the rightdirection.
And I completely agree with theJordan Love thing because it's
like you look outside of thatinterception, 19 for 26, one
(10:52):
touchdown.
It was a solid game.
Like, you look at the rating inthat.
I mean, everything was good.
He had a 101 rating, he wasgood.
The QBRs at 82, it's like asolid game performance, but it's
like you just can't not have onebad mistake.
You can like, yeah, I wonder ifLurl was there.
He has to do it, he has to doit.
It's like he has to, he has togive us something to say at the
(11:12):
end of the day.
Like, you had a great game, except for this.
You look at the Dallas game,it's like he had a fantastic
game, went toe to toe with a guywho could win the MVP right now
if you had to talk MVP and DakPrescott.
And he will last 30 seconds ofthat game.
You could say, Wow, he screwedit in that last 30 seconds
because he just didn't have thaturgency to get his offense
going.
So, I mean, there's like it justseems like he has to have that
(11:34):
one blunder per game to justmake us upset.
I don't know why.
I don't know why he can stop.
I mean, yeah, yeah.
I mean, get it out of the way.
It's just like those sillythings, even if you can just get
rid of the silly things.
I man, oh man, this Jordan Leftcan be a fantastic quarterback.
He's just got to get rid of thesilly mistakes.
He does.
That's it.
That's it.
And when I watch him, it's likejust the silly things, the silly
(11:55):
mistakes like he had against theLions, where he should have
thrown a ball away and he triedto flip it and it got picked and
it taken to the house.
I mean, there's just so manysilly throws that he made the
49ers, he was young, you know, during that one, but tried to
throw across the field, itwasn't there.
He had time, it was you know, early downs, late in the game,
though, and he tried to it wasjust trying to do too much,
right, with the football.
(12:15):
So I completely agree with youthere.
Um, yeah, I would Matthew Goldenfinally having a breakout game.
That's what we wanted to seethere.
Tucker Kraft with his twocatches, 43 yards.
I expect week after week to keepgetting him involved and keep
getting him involved more.
I think the play action game, they use it a lot.
I think they can use it more.
I really do.
I think they can use it more.
I think this is a team, and Iguess I want to ask you this.
(12:38):
I don't think this team can be50-50.
I think this team needs to bemore like 60-40.
I 60-40, 65, 35, whatever youwant to say.
It needs to be.
I know we want to establish therun game.
I know they really do, and Iwant to too.
But I this pass game is toogood.
There is too many weapons, there's too many things that you
need to utilize in this part ofthe game.
(12:59):
So when I look at it, I'm like, you got to go pass game heavy.
I guess is that crazy?
Is that a crazy thought to thinkthat the Packers need to go not
go away from Josh Jacobs?
Just don't try to lean so heavyinto him.
Try to lean heavier into thatpass game.
Let Jordan Love be Jordan Love.
Let Matt LaFleur drop some playsbecause we know he can,
especially in play action.
He can draw some crazy stuff.
Let that be the driving catalystof this team.
SPEAKER_03 (13:21):
I I think we're at a
point now where you can say
Jordan is doing pretty wellconsidering the fact that his
top two wide receivers are outright now, Jaden Reed and
Christian Watson, and he's stillperforming and producing well.
I think in this game you sawthem get away from their
tendencies of like running it onsecond down no matter what, or
running it on first down nomatter what.
And I'm 100% with you on that.
(13:42):
I think you throw the ball inthe beginning, you dominate, you
dictate to them, you utilizethat because they already know
you have Josh Jacobs back there.
You know what I'm saying?
The threat of the run and athreat of play action is always
going to be there.
I feel like you just you forcethe issue in the beginning, and
then you use the run game toclose out games, but you do it
in a way where like it makessense.
And I think we may even maybeLaFleur's been gaining too much
(14:04):
in his head, or maybe he's doingcertain things a certain way to
kind of fool people, butdefinitely had some tendencies
that he broke in this game.
And I'm with you, he just needsto continue going down that path
because maybe Watson's back thisweek, maybe he's not.
Uh, we're hoping that JadenReed's gonna be back here soon.
And I really just feel like whenhe gets his full assortment of
weapons, I want this offensereally hitting the ground
(14:26):
running when it comes to thepass game.
SPEAKER_04 (14:28):
There is a lot of
weapons still like holstered.
They haven't even let him out ofthe cage yet.
And you know, talking about aguy like Jaden Reed and
Christian Watson, Marshawn Lloydcoming back there.
There is a lot of weaponry stillready to unload here.
So I I love that.
I love that.
Let's look over at the defensiveside.
Going off this one, defensiveside of the football.
Is there anyone or any guys thatstood out to you on the
(14:50):
defensive side of the footballwe got to be talking about?
SPEAKER_03 (14:53):
I mean, honestly,
defensively, you felt like they
all were like there was a lot ofthere was so much more short
tackling in that game, right?
More gang tackling, more what wesaw week one and week two, more
urgency, more goal to the ball.
I didn't like the fact that youknow a care, you know, a ball
carrier would get like twoyards, and the offensive line
(15:13):
would help push for another sixor seven.
That was infuriating me.
Um, I felt like our secondarydid the best they could.
I mean, Joe Flacco was gettingthat ball out fast.
He was literally hitting JamarChase on back shoulders the end
of the game, like multipletimes.
I thought Carrington Valentine,he had a great uh pass breakup,
and then you know, yeah, he gota score touchdown scored on him.
That's good, that's a life ofthe corner, right?
(15:35):
And uh he he was doing hisgritty, he was having he was the
guy a little gyre 2.0, but allin all, with that offense being
the way it was, with the weaponsthey have.
I mean, you had a guy that camein there like literally like
Tuesday, Wednesday, and wasrunning that offense, right?
So defensively, it wasn't likegreat, but it wasn't bad.
I thought Lucas Van S had a goodsack, um, but unfortunately got
(15:55):
hurt right after that.
Um I'm wondering if we're reallymissing Devontae Wyatt.
But I think you made a commentpreviously about Brinson and
Nazir Stackhouse.
I think they both had reallygood games considering the fact
of you know the the multiplesnaps that they were playing.
SPEAKER_04 (16:08):
Yeah, no, Brinson,
yeah, Brinson led him in uh in
PFF, overall PFF in that one.
So that was that was quiteinteresting because coming into
the season, he was actually inlike third, he was third on the
depth chart in the uh tacklespot there in those tackle
there.
So I mean it's very interesting,or defensive tackle, I should
say.
Very interesting to see himfilling into that spot, and
that's actually a guy who gotdrafted.
(16:28):
I mean, you talk about a guy inNazir Stackhouse who actually
beat him out for the secondstring there, and he wasn't even
drafted, he was an undrafted guycoming in.
And I mean, that's aninteresting dynamic, too, if you
can get both those guys on thefield at the same time there,
Stackhouse and Brinson in somekind of package, because you
have two Georgia guys coming atyou, right?
Right?
Both guys came from Georgia, didn't they?
Nazir and yes, they both out ofGeorgia.
(16:50):
So I mean both play togethertoo.
So I know that's sometimes thatchemistry kind of works out
there on the defensive front,too.
So let's look ahead.
Okay, so wrapping up the Bengalsgame.
There any final thoughts on theBengals game that you wanted to
touch on, or any any finalthoughts there?
SPEAKER_03 (17:04):
I mean, I feel like
this game would have been a
completely different game if JoeBarrow was there, 100%.
SPEAKER_04 (17:09):
Um Joe Barrow,
right?
SPEAKER_03 (17:12):
But any of the day,
I think you know, we went in
there, you know, the Packers gota game at home, they went up
against the team, they won.
Uh, I think that you know, we'reall we're expecting like you
know, a 45-10 blowout orsomething, but that wasn't gonna
happen.
Honestly, if Joe Flacco has agood game on Thursday night,
that might be an indication ofthe fact that we might have just
gotten lucky, right?
(17:32):
And what I mean by lucky is isthat Joe Burrow didn't have Joe
Burrow, Joe Flacco didn't haveenough time to really learn the
offense, right?
And so because of that, becauseif he goes into if they go in
the setup night game and beatPittsburgh, that should be that
would be interesting to say theleast.
But I think this is one of thosegames that you get stacked
success, right?
We uh we take everything welearn from this game, we take
(17:54):
everything we learn from theDallas Cowboys game, and we use
that and we close out the nextthis month of October with some
good wins.
Because we I mean Arizona'snext, right?
Arizona, not a great team, butstill they got a lot of weapons
there.
Marvin Harrison might not play,Kyle Murray might not play,
right?
Then after that, you got theSteelers, you got then
eventually you what have we gotnow?
SPEAKER_02 (18:14):
We got the Steelers,
then we got the Steelers, then
we got the then we got thePanthers, which is like eh, then
we got the Eagles, and thenwe've got the Giants, and then
we got the Vikings, and thenright there, that gauntlet right
there after the Panthers, eventhe Panthers are looking pretty
good too.
SPEAKER_03 (18:28):
Like, don't get me
wrong.
Yeah, we have a lot of gamescoming up that we want to maybe
probably be hitting our stride, not just offensively, but
defensively as well, too.
SPEAKER_04 (18:36):
Yeah, no, I agree
100%.
It like you just I mean, wrapping it all up with what you
just said there, building off ofthese games, looking at building
to get to where this team wantsto be moving forward there,
especially when they get some ofthe tougher quote unquote
opponents when they get downthis stretch here.
The Eagles, teams like that.
I mean, they might not look asscary as what they may have
(18:56):
thought to be, but they're stillgood opponents on the schedule.
The Steelers look good againstthe Browns, a very good Browns
defense.
The Steelers look pretty good.
So, I mean, there's there's alot of decent opponents left in
this Packers schedule.
So let's look quickly, quicklyhere before I get like let's
look at up what we got coming uphere, and that is the Arizona
Cardinals.
Is there anything?
I mean, you like you mentionedthere, Kyler Murray might not
(19:18):
play, Marvin Harrison might notplay.
There's a lot of missing piecesfor the Cardinals right now.
I know uh his name slips me, therunning back.
SPEAKER_03 (19:25):
Oh, he's so yeah, uh
Bam Knight and uh Michael
Carter, and then of course JamesConnor and uh James Connor, yes,
yep James Congress.
Yep, yep.
SPEAKER_04 (19:34):
So I mean they got a
lot of a lot of guys out.
So we know the guys that are outhere.
SPEAKER_03 (19:38):
Yep.
SPEAKER_04 (19:39):
Is there anything
you're looking at in this game
you want to see from the Packersto I mean, I we don't we're not
gonna go through predictions oranything like you tell me.
You're not much of a predictionguy, but uh is there anything
you want to see from the Packersgoing into this game against
Cardinals?
SPEAKER_03 (19:52):
I feel like we need
to see how we can handle a
Jacoby Brissett is still a goodquarterback, he's a good veteran
backup quarterback, right?
And he he put the Colts, he hadthe Colts against the wall, like
he almost beat the Colts in thatgame, right?
So I feel like this would be agood test for our defense.
Uh Arizona's offensive line isyoung but susceptible.
You can you can get pressure.
(20:12):
So we'll be interested to seehow we do that because they have
so many missing pieces rightnow.
You have to take advantage ofthat.
Um, on offense for us, I feellike the uh the Packers will
need to really establish the runbecause you can run on Arizona.
That's one of the one ofJonathan Gann's uh deficits when
he has on his team.
Um, as well as we can finallysee hopefully Watson come back
(20:36):
and see if he will be back forthis week or they're gonna hold
him out one more week, right?
Yeah um, but the the thing withthe Cardinals are their own four
teams.
I feel like they're better thanthe last you know, last the
record shows.
It's just that they just haven'tbeen able to close out games,
they just have so many justcrazy things happen.
So for I just want the Packersto find a way to continue what
they've been doing, which isplay smart football, uh be
(20:58):
consistent on offense, and thentry to find ways to get
takeovers on defense.
They need to.
Like yeah, Brissett's gonna giveyou a couple, that's one thing
for sure.
He's gonna give you a couple, and the Packers have like no
turnovers right now, so theyhave one turnover in all their
games.
So we need to find a way tostart getting some turnovers.
SPEAKER_04 (21:14):
I don't know if the
secondary actually knows where
the ball is.
I gotta be honest with you.
And I watch him out there.
Myus McKinney, I agree.
Yeah, Myus McKinney and even himsometimes, they just look lost.
They just the secondary lookslost at times.
So that's a story for anothertime.
That's a story for another time.
We'll talk about that.
If you guys want more Packertalk, we'll be talking on Coast
to Ghost Packers coming up laterthis week.
So make sure you guys arechecking that out when you got a
(21:35):
chance there.
So, Ummer, thank you as alwaysfor stopping by.
Let the people know where tofind you out there across social
media.
SPEAKER_03 (21:40):
Thank you, man.
For always having me.
It's always an honor.
Uh, going to be always onTwitter at AMAR3455, Coast to
Coast Packers across the boardfor all the social media media
outlets.
And yeah, just uh lookingforward to hopefully be on
Thursday night as our plan rightnow.
As long as uh we don't hopefullythe brewers can come back from
this game, or hopefully Thursdaynight they can make a showing of
(22:01):
others.
If not, then maybe we'll go.
Maybe we might we I gotta talkto Trey about that, but we gotta
try to say we might we mightneed to go Thursday night
because I'm going out of townthis weekend, so we gotta figure
something out.
SPEAKER_04 (22:10):
We'll figure
something out, don't you worry.
We'll figure something outthere.
So make sure you guys arechecking them out there, Ummer
on on X there or wherever onsocial media.
Make sure you guys are checkingout Coast to Coast Packers
there, find it YouTube, everything in between.
We're gonna get it up on all thedifferent sites and everything
like that.
So make sure you guys checkingout, like, subscribe, follow as
always.
So make sure you guys arechecking them out.
Thank you as always, Ummer.
We'll be back here after thequick commercial break.
(22:30):
We're gonna touch into a littlebadgers next, I think.
I don't know where we're gonnaget to.
We got Kyle coming on later.
We got all kinds of stuff to getto.
Make sure you're coming backhere, Wisconsin Sports on the Go
with Trade.
We'll be right back.
Welcome back into WisconsinSports on the Go with Trade.
I'm your host, Trage, as we comeback here on this Wednesday.
And hey, this next segment here,we're gonna talk a little
badgers.
We're gonna have a therapysession about some badgers here.
This next segment is brought toyou by Sport and Spine Clinic of
(22:53):
Greenwood, Wisconsin.
Expert traditional physicaltherapy and structural
integration programming.
Call for flexible scheduling andevaluations.
Just call Chad down there atSport and Spine Clinic of
Greenwood, Wisconsin.
He'll make you right, he'll getyou doing whatever you were
doing feeling better than ever.
Sport and Spine Clinic ofGreenwood, Wisconsin.
So we're gonna do the Sport andSpine therapy session of the
(23:14):
show here.
And I only find it fitting thatwe talk a little brewers, we
talk a little badgers here inthis therapy session.
So the Badgers.
Oh, that game against Iowastunk.
That was bad.
That was absolutely terrible towatch.
I only I only watched I watchedI watched half of it, and then I
(23:36):
just solely watched the brewersbecause I just had to distance
myself from Wisconsin, and thenuh I ended up coming back and
watching it after the fact.
So it wasn't uh in live time, Icouldn't watch it, so it was
ugly.
It was ugly.
I I don't when when I talk aboutthis team right now, and
everybody I was asked thisquestion.
I was texted this question.
(23:57):
If you want to text into theshow here, make sure you're
doing it.
715-990-4914.
That is 715-990-4914.
Somebody said, Is there moretalent than when Paul Christ was
fired?
Is there more talent on thisteam?
That was what the question was,is there more talent?
So when Chris was in Madison, had some good years in that
(24:19):
final year.
It was it wasn't pretty, itwasn't a great start to the
year, and Paul Chris was fired.
That team, I believe, had lesstalent than what they have now.
I do that team was morewell-rounded, though.
They had an identity, they knewwhat they wanted to do, they had
(24:39):
a little bit more fire, theyseemed like they were behind
their head coach, they were veryupset when their head coach was
fired.
A lot of those guys were like, this is the guy who brought me
in.
Jim Leonard took over.
It's still when Jim Leonard tookover, it still felt, I believe,
to these guys like, oh, well, westill have our guy here because
Jim is still here, so it felt alittle bit better for him.
(25:00):
But then they just Jim wasn'tgood enough, moved on, hit the
slam dunk home run higher,right?
In Luke Fickle.
It's gone well to this point.
I mean, hindsight being you youin that moment, and this is the
way I look back at it.
I know there's some people aregonna say, well, you know, the
Luke Fickle, I I always saidLuke Fickle wasn't a good coach,
(25:20):
blah blah.
At the moment, it was a slamdunk hire.
Everybody wanted him.
Now, was there a reason?
I mean, they said that GrahamMertz, everybody wanted Graham
Mertz too, so I have no idea.
They told me that I from what Iremember, Alabama wanted Graham
Mertz.
So that if that's the case, Idon't know why they wanted Luke
Fickle.
Luke Fickle came into Madison, and I thought I don't think, and
(25:45):
this is this is the way I seeit.
I don't think the Badgers didtheir homework on Luke Fickle,
and I don't think Luke Fickledid his homework on Wisconsin
because he tried to change theculture and the Badgers real
didn't realize that that's whathe was gonna try and do.
That's plain and simple what Isee it as.
They didn't do homework on eachother, and I think that's what
got it off to a bad start.
Now he's trying to reverse andtry to go back, but now it seems
(26:06):
like it's already too far gone.
You're in this age of the NILand the transfer portal where
it's not like you can justrecruit guys and just have them
stay around.
It's not that way anymore.
It's not that Wisconsin, I mean,it's a it's Wisconsin's a very
nice place, a very beautifulcampus.
I mean, if you're a college kid,you you love the party life
(26:28):
that's not whatever.
You know, you don't want yourathletes, that's the reason why
they're coming.
But anyway, I mean you you wantthe college experience for them,
and Madison's a great place forit.
But right now it's not, itreally isn't because the program
is in shambles.
And you had guys like ChristianAllegro after that game against
Iowa, and he's like, this isn'tthe way, this isn't Wisconsin
(26:48):
football.
And it's like, no, it is.
This is what we've seen formultiple years now.
Like, I understand that you'retelling me, like, and I don't
believe it's Wisconsin football.
It's not, it's not whatChristian Allegro wants it to
be, it's not what any of theseguys want it to be.
But that's what it is now.
Underneath the Luke Fickle, thisis Wisconsin football.
Dysfunctional, no identity,nothing.
They have no identity, andthat's what they even some of
the players have said.
What's wrong with this team?
(27:09):
They have no identity, they knowit, but it comes from a culture
change, it comes from the top.
And right now, the way that LukeFickle's leading this, it's not
gonna get fixed.
It's not.
So was there is there moretalent on this team than when
Paul Chris was fired?
Is there more talent coming intothe university?
Yeah, I believe so.
I I do.
I think there's a lot of talenton this football team.
(27:30):
I just think it's dysfunctional.
There's no identity, there'snothing.
They don't know what they'redoing out there.
Nothing.
There's no fight, there's nofire, there's no juice.
There's no, I mean, there's justit's man, to me, it it just it
looks like the Badgers are a uha D3 football team going up
(27:51):
against a bunch of D1 footballteams when when you watch them.
They don't even look likethey're supposed to be on this.
It's like a JV versus a varsitysquad.
It's like vanilla ice creamcompared to I don't know, I'm a
big vanilla ice cream fan.
It's like vanilla, they're noteven vanilla.
Like they're not even likebasic.
I I don't even know whatsometimes what what what they're
trying to even accomplish.
(28:13):
Like it's just dysfunctional, ugly football all the way
around.
Doesn't matter what they put inthere, who they put in there.
And then Hunter Simmons isstruggling, you keep him in
there.
I thought maybe they'd like, oh,Danny O'Neill would come back
in, and then you wonder, okay,is Danny O'Neill hurt more than
what they're letting on?
Billy Edwards.
I'm so sick of the the narrativethat uh they're like, oh well,
you know, the offensive line'sbeen banged up, and then you
(28:35):
haven't had your startingquarterback in years.
That's fine, that's great.
I I understand that.
Not great, right?
But that's fine.
I understand that excuse.
But not having a quarterbackdoesn't make up for the run game
being nothing.
Absolutely nothing.
The run game's atrocious.
Somebody asked a question, Ibelieve it was on the camp with
(28:57):
uh Jesse Temple and ZachHeilpert.
I listen to it, they'refantastic.
Somebody asked on the camp, they're like, Do you believe
that Melvin Gordon's biggestgame is going to be more rushing
yards than Wisconsin's leadingrusher on the season this year?
Which Melvin Gordon, he had that400, 400, what, eight-yard game?
400?
It was some some of the four.
(29:17):
I think it was 408, but eitherway.
And Wisconsin right now, theirleading rusher on the year is
286 on the season.
Dillion Jones has got 286.
That's bad.
That's terrible.
There's no fix in sight.
Let's go with that.
There's no fix in sight.
(29:37):
I think the only way is to ripthe band-aid off.
You get rid of him.
You don't go for a slam dunkhigher.
You're not going for like aLeopold or the offensive
coordinator from Oregon.
I can't remember his name.
I know he's in a lot of talks.
You're not going for anybodycrazy.
If you fire Luke Fickle, you'regoing for an in you need to make
people feel better.
You're going for an in stateguy.
(29:58):
You hope you can apologize toJim.
Leonard.
Let's see how good ChrisMcIntosh is at apologizing.
You can maybe get Jim Leonard tocome back.
Otherwise, you're going for someWyack coach or something like
that that you can just call upand say, hey, come into Madison,
reset the culture, you know, getthis thing back up, and then try
to establish something.
You're not going out for anotherslam dunk hire, and I don't
(30:20):
trust Chris McIntosh to makethat decision.
I don't trust if they keep LukeFickle around.
I don't trust anybody inleadership in Madison to make a
decision on coaching.
Anyone.
I don't know how you sit thereas anybody involved in the
athletic programs and watchthis.
I don't.
Is this what spoiled feels like,Barry?
That's what I have to ask.
Is this what spoiled rotten fansfeel like, Barry?
(30:41):
Because I'm gonna be honest withyou, if this what it was is what
it feels like to be spoiledrotten, we stink.
That's all I know.
Wisconsin stinks right now.
Now, maybe it turns around.
Maybe they find a way to win agame.
Maybe they run into a winsomehow against I don't.
Washington's good.
Washington's a decent team.
Uh Illinois's good.
(31:02):
Indiana just whooped up on, notreally whooped up on, but they
beat Oregon at their place.
You play Oregon, you play OhioState yet.
Minnesota might be the onlywinnable game left on the
schedule.
Now you don't know if you winthat game.
So yeah, badger football inshambles right now.
That's where I'm at with that.
So there's my therapy session,my rant session for you guys
(31:23):
about Wisconsin football rightnow.
We didn't get to the Brewerspart of the therapy, but we're
just gonna hope that the Brewerssomehow, by the next time we
talk, by the next time we talk, the Brewers will be either in
the World Series or have lostthe series to the Dodgers.
And we're either going to have agreat time next Wednesday or a
bad time.
So we're gonna see how it goes.
We're gonna see how that therapysession goes next week there.
(31:44):
So we're gonna come back here.
Kyle's gonna hop on.
We have some NFL talk to get to,MLB playoffs, all the kinds of
stuff like that.
We got that kind of stuff comingup, and then we're gonna wrap
the show here after that.
So we'll be back here atWisconsin Sports on the Go with
Trades.
We'll be back here.
Welcome back into WisconsinSports on the Go with Trade.
I'm your host, Trage.
We come back here on thisWednesday.
And hey, this next segment,Kyle's stopping by.
We got some NFL to talk about,MLB.
(32:06):
We got all kinds of stuff todive into.
This next segment is brought toyou by BH Concrete Lifting.
You can ditch the trip hazardswithout breaking the bank on new
concrete and have it all leveledfor less than half the cost of
the replacement.
Why get it changed when you canjust fix what's there?
Maybe you like your driveway.
You're just like, ah, it's alittle bumpy, it's a little
rough.
I don't want to be shovelingsnow and take one of the
(32:27):
midsection.
Call these guys, call them BHconcrete lifting, get in on that
schedule right now.
Free estimate.
That's all that matters.
They have a complimentaryestimate.
You can't there's nothingbetter.
There's nothing better.
Call them BH Concrete Lifting.
I'm telling you right now, youmight need them.
You might need them.
Somebody else might need them.
Let them know about them.
BH Concrete Lifting.
So Kyle is here tonight.
Kyle, how are we doing?
(32:48):
Wednesday.
MLB playoffs in full swing.
The NFL, the Patriots areplaying well.
How are we doing on thisWednesday?
SPEAKER_00 (32:56):
No, I'm doing well.
Uh like I said, it's it's it's agood time of the year, and it's
good to see my Patriots aredoing well.
And then you got NBA seasoncoming around on Tuesday.
So I'm really excited.
SPEAKER_04 (33:10):
That is super
exciting.
We got and we have everything.
Everything is going on rightnow.
College basketball just droppedtop 25.
We talked about that earlier inthe show.
Just a whole slew of things totalk about in the sporting
world.
This is a good time of year.
This is a good time of year.
It's not like a couple weeksago, maybe a month ago, where it
was like, oh, we're running outof things to talk about right
now.
Now it's oh, we got everythingto dive into.
(33:32):
So it's a great time of year, and it's a great time of year,
but not for many.
And we wanted to do that for ourmellow yellow minute tonight.
So our mellow yellow minute forthe night is going to be the 13.
Well, we're not gonna do 13.
We're gonna do top five coldestcities in the United States.
We did 13's crazy.
There, this list is the top 13.
We're gonna do the top fivecoldest cities in the US.
(33:54):
This was done, uh, it's on thezebra, is where the list is from
March 18th of 2024.
So, as you guys know, MellowYellow Minute, we do it every
single week.
It's a trivia hour in honor ofmy grandpa.
You love trivia, I love mellowyellow.
We call it the Mellow YellowMinute.
So, Kyle, as always, are youready for this trivia hour here?
So we got the top five, andthese are our top five.
(34:18):
We have Willinston, NorthDakota, Willie, Willie Stun,
Willy Stun, Willy Stun, yeah,it's like that.
Grand Forks, North Dakota,Fargo, North Dakota.
It's all in it.
It seems like it's all in NorthDakota.
Fairbanks, Alaska, and Aberdeen,South Dakota.
(34:42):
So those are our five.
Those are in that top five,Kyle.
So if you had a guess, number,we can start.
What do you want to start?
Number five, number one.
SPEAKER_01 (34:50):
Let's start at five.
SPEAKER_00 (34:52):
Number five.
I'm gonna say Aberdeen, SouthDakota.
SPEAKER_04 (35:01):
Aberdeen, South
Dakota.
It's like it had to be Aberdeen,South Dakota for that one.
SPEAKER_01 (35:08):
Okay, so four.
I will go with let's go uhWilliamson.
SPEAKER_04 (35:15):
It is not
Williamston.
Okay, it is not.
Is it Grand Forks?
It is not.
It is it is Fargo.
It is Fargo, North Dakota atfour.
SPEAKER_01 (35:22):
I thought Fargo was
like further north.
Okay.
SPEAKER_04 (35:24):
That's why I'm
trying to figure out the map
right now.
I'm like, uh I figure you knowwhich one is number one.
I mean, it's pretty obviouswhich one's number one.
So you just got to figure outtwo and three, and you got this
one in the back here.
SPEAKER_01 (35:35):
Fargo Grand Forks
three.
SPEAKER_04 (35:38):
It is not, it is
Williamson.
Williamson three, grand forkstwo.
SPEAKER_00 (35:42):
I knew Fairbanks was
the coach.
SPEAKER_04 (35:44):
It had to be
Fairbanks, right?
I was like, I know he knows whatnumber one is, so I just figure
we'll work.
I'll just tell him what numberfour is.
We can work from there.
So if you guys got the answersto that one, make sure you make
sure you guys at any pointtonight, if you want to text in,
if you want to text in youranswers to the Meliel minute
next week, anything like that, make sure you're hitting us up
715-990-4914.
That is 715-990-4914.
(36:06):
You can let us know yourquestions, comments, anything
like that, and get involved inthe Meliel Minute with your
questions or you know, youranswers to the question there.
So, Kyle, let's start rightwhere right where we left off
last week, the NFL.
Let's just start right in theNFL.
We saw a lot of interestingfinals.
We have a new, I mean, we haveno no undefeated teams left.
(36:29):
And then we look at the AFCEast.
That's getting crazy out there.
We got the NFC North that'sgetting a little crazy.
So, Kyle, I mean, let's just go.
We're not we're not gonna goover the entirety of week six,
but were there any games thatstood out to you, any finals
that stood out to you, performances, anything like
that?
SPEAKER_00 (36:48):
Yeah, uh, I think I
think the Chargers Dolphins game
uh stood out to me because theChargers were a team that were
kind of reeling, they're dealingwith some injuries up front on
the offensive line, but I thinkthey were able to kind of
regroup, gather, and I thinkthey can go on a little bit of a
(37:09):
run of good play here.
And they beat a Dolphins teamthat's reeling right now with
their own issues with MikeMcDaniel and Tua.
So that game caught my eyebecause I I was uh worried that
the Chargers would lose that oneand then they would really maybe
tailspin uh further down.
So I think that was a good gamefor them to get back on the
(37:30):
right track.
Uh I think the Panthers game thePanthers quietly are a 500 team,
which I don't know how manypeople really thought they could
be that when the season started.
But when you watch that team, and look, the Cowboys
defensively have their ownissues with no mica, and you
know the defense was kind ofstruggling last year, but the
(37:54):
Panthers with Rico Dowdle, they're running the ball really
well right now, which takesobviously pressure off of Bryce
Young.
And because of that, Bryce Youngis playing better.
So the Panthers are a team notnecessarily to watch for like a
playoff spot, but are a teamthat could spoil some teams'
plans later in the seasonbecause I think they are
(38:16):
starting to play a little bitbetter.
Uh, then another one probablylooking Monday night, Falcons
and the Bills.
Bills now are a team that arereeling heading into their bye.
And it's probably coming at theperfect time for them.
You know, they lost an emotionalone to the Patriots with the
(38:37):
Stefan Diggs return.
Uh, people were looking at theFalcons game as a chance for
them to get back to what theywere doing earlier in the
season, but now they're reeling, and Sean McDermott says they're
gonna use the bye to kind ofreset and you know try to figure
out what they were doing rightearly and get back to that.
You know, James Cook has beenslowed down for a couple of
(38:59):
weeks, that's really hurt them, and that's affecting Josh Allen
in the passing game.
So those are probably like thetop three games that really uh
caught my attention.
SPEAKER_04 (39:09):
Yeah, there was a
lot of good, there was a lot of
good games, a lot of goodfinals, and a lot of interesting
finals, like the Giants, likeGiants over the Eagles that
Thursday night game.
That was crazy to see there.
I was uh the Steelers putting up23 against the Browns defense.
That one caught my eye a littlebit.
Just see Rogers the way thatRogers played in that game, not
bad.
(39:29):
Not bad at all.
Yeah, I would agree.
The Panthers over the Cowboys, the Cowboys.
I was really thought the Cowboyswere like turning a corner with
something there, and then itjust yeah, just went all
backwards on them.
Uh, outside of that, I mean, there was the Chiefs over the
Lions.
That's the big one, right?
The Chiefs over the Lions, theChiefs back on their heels, and
then all of a sudden they justgo and pull one off.
The Bears get a little lucky,Jay Daniels turnover, and well,
(39:52):
we see what happens there.
25-224, the final there againstthe commanders.
So we saw that one there.
Let's look over, let's get intoour power rankings for the week.
We always do the power rankingshere every single week.
So if you had to look right nowin the Americ uh in the American
League, I'm baseball, football,in the in the in the AFC right
now.
Who are you looking at?
(40:12):
Who are you seeing?
Who's in your top five right nowin the AFC?
SPEAKER_00 (40:16):
The AFC was was
pretty tough.
Uh I put the Bills at five.
Okay.
They they've dropped a littlebit.
I I just don't like the pastcouple of games.
You know, defensively, they'regiving up big plays.
Offensively, they're strugglingto find a rhythm, especially
against the Falcons.
You know, Josh Allen bodylanguage is a little off.
(40:37):
So I think they'll they'll havea chance to get right after the
bye.
But right now, I have them asnumber five for eye of the
Chiefs.
So two times in three weeks, they uh beat up on the Ravens,
they beat up on the Lions, whichobviously the Lions one is more
impressive to me, but they'regetting Raci Rice back next
(41:00):
week.
So I feel like that's gonna bethat missing piece of the
offense that really helps thatoffense get going once again.
So I have them at four.
I put the Patriots at three.
I just think defensively they'replaying well, especially against
the run.
Drake May has become like a bigplay quarterback.
He loves throwing the balldownfield, which is something
(41:22):
that haven't seen in a while inNew England.
And they have a game againstTennessee coming up.
Mike Vrabel, old stompinggrounds.
So I'm expecting them to get awin there.
Two, I put the Chargers.
The Chargers were, you know, teetering on being outside of my
five.
I think they were outside of myfive last week.
I feel like they showed a lot ofyou know heart and everything
(41:44):
coming back against theDolphins.
Yeah, the Dolphins aren't good,but I think it's a win that the
Chargers really needed.
unknown (41:50):
Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_00 (41:50):
And Vidal, the
running back, had a good game.
So I had them at two.
And one, you gotta put theColts.
They they just keep winning.
Daniel Jones is playing like anMVP Canada quarterback.
Uh, Jonathan Taylor is theleading rusher in the league.
Their defense is pretty good, sothey have all the makings to be
a team with staying power.
(42:11):
So I have them one right now inthe AFC.
SPEAKER_04 (42:15):
If I would have told
you that that would be your
power rankings when this seasonstarted, what would you have
told me?
SPEAKER_00 (42:21):
I mean, a couple of
those teams, maybe the Colts.
I yeah, I thought the Colts aregonna be able to do that.
SPEAKER_04 (42:27):
With Daniel Jones,
with Daniel Jones.
That's the crazy part.
Like, I don't think you couldhave told anybody this is what
it's going to look like rightnow.
The the Patriots are gonna befour and two with the Bills.
You're gonna see Pittsburgh atfour and one, and the rest of
that division stinks.
And then, well, you can't helpinjuries, but I mean, you just
if I would have told you thatthese were gonna be what was
going on, you'd be like, no way,no way at all.
(42:48):
So, yeah, I mean it's been Ilike I I figured as much when
you said it, you're like, uh,this is a tough one.
I'm like, Yeah, I could see theAFC pretty being a pretty tough,
uh, tough one to pick right now.
The NFC is kind of tough rightnow.
So let's flip over in the NFCright now.
Give me your top five NFC teamsright now.
SPEAKER_00 (43:06):
Five eye of the
Eagles, and they are a shaky
five right now.
They like the Bills, just havenot looked right the past couple
of weeks.
Uh, it'd be interesting to seewhat they do.
Uh, they look like a team that'smissing something, but I think
they're still a very good teamand they'll figure it out
eventually.
(43:27):
Uh, four, I have the Lions, evendespite the loss of the Chiefs,
I still really like what theLions can do.
Uh I think Dan Campbell is theright type of guy to get them
back focused after that loss.
Uh three, I have the Packers.
Packers are leading the NFCNorth.
NFC North is proving to be apretty good division.
(43:49):
And the Packers just I justthey're offensively have a lot
of weapons.
Uh Jacobs ran for, I think, ahundred plus yards this past
week.
So if they consistently get thatout of him, that makes that
offense just much moredangerous.
And then defensively, we we knowthey have pieces on that side of
the ball as well.
Uh two eye of the Seahawks, SamDarnold quietly having an MVP
(44:12):
type candidate season, and theSeahawks defensively play well.
And JSN has emerged as a legitnumber one wide receiver.
And then number one, I have theBucks.
The Bucks uh five and one, bestrecord in the NFC.
Baker Mayfield is probably theleading MVP candidate right now.
(44:35):
Uh 12 touchdowns, I believe onlyone interception.
He has four game-winning drivesalready this season.
Like he is just doing it allright now.
So the Bucks are the best teamin the NFC for me right now.
SPEAKER_04 (44:47):
They just they play
a lot of games close.
That's it's the only thing thatwould make me nervous, I guess,
with Buccaneers would be theyplay games close.
But then you remember, oh yeah, they also are without a lot of
their weapons yet.
So when they get them back, butthen you could say the same
thing with Packers, too, right?
We haven't seen ChristianWatson, Marshawn Lloyd hasn't
been back.
You're still missing a guy likeJaden Reed.
He's got to get back to this, you know, and healthy.
And Micah Parsons still has notbeen like Micah Parsons.
(45:10):
So, I mean, there's a lot ofthings with the Packers, even
right now, where you can look atthem and say, Well, they're not
healthy.
What's gonna happen when theyare?
The Eagles are the biggest messin the world.
They have wide receivers whodon't want to play for them
because they don't like theoffense that they're running.
They have a quarterback who, Imean, bless his heart.
I love the guy, but I just Idon't I don't feel it.
I don't feel it half the timewith them.
And it just they have a bangedup offensive line.
(45:32):
The defense is not as good aswhat it was last season.
That defense definitely took astep back.
The Lions, they're kind of inthe same boat, they kind of took
that step back.
So the NFC, like we're talkingAFC, it's wide open, it is wide
open right now for anybody totake.
So I yeah, I am right there withyou right now.
It is crazy what we've beenseeing.
So let's look.
We got to do real fast ourfantasy players to look out for.
(45:55):
If they're available, Kyle saysyou got to pick these guys up.
Kyle, what do you got for me?
The fantasy players to be on thelookout for.
SPEAKER_00 (46:01):
So if you need a
quarterback, Bryce Young, he's
available in 80% of ESPNleagues.
He's coming off of a threetouchdown uh performance against
the Cowboys, and he faces a Jetsdefense this week that is in
disarray and is reallystruggling under Aaron Glenn's
(46:22):
leadership and everything.
So expect for Bryce Young tohave another good game for you
if you need a quarterback.
If you need a flex, we justtalked about the Bucks.
They are missing a lot of guysat wide receiver.
Tez Johnson had 112 yards lastweek and a touchdown.
He's a speed, he's a burner,he's a deep threat, and we know
(46:45):
Baker loves throwing the balldeep.
Uh, they face a Lions team, soyou might be a little bit weary,
but you can throw the ball alittle bit on the Lions.
I think the Bucks will do it.
So look for Taz Johnson.
He's available basically inevery league.
He's available in like 99% ofESPN leagues.
So he's a guy you can pick up ifyou need a flex option.
(47:08):
And if you need a defense, takethe Chiefs.
They uh gave up 17 points to aLions team that was kind of
humming efficiently uhefficiently on offense.
They face a Raiders team thatoffensively is a bit of a mess,
especially at the quarterbackposition.
So they're a defense if you needone, and they're available in
(47:28):
86% of ESPN leagues.
SPEAKER_04 (47:32):
Okay, okay.
I like that one there.
I like that one there.
I like the Bryce Young.
That was a bold one right there.
I like the Bryce Young.
I don't know if many guys wouldsay Bryce Young, because I like
that.
I like that answer right there.
It's a good one.
I love it.
I love it.
I love it.
Good stuff there from Kyle.
Power rankings, everything inbetween.
If you guys have missed anyportion of the show, you guys
are maybe just tuning in, youmissed any of the fantasy talk
or the power rankings, anythinglike that.
(47:53):
Check us out next day, WisconsinSports on the GoTrade.
You can find it there.
So, Kyle, quick, before I gottalet you go, let's check MLB
playoffs.
Anything that's surprised you sofar?
I mean, I am I don't want totalk too much about my what's
going on with the Brewers rightnow, but I guess Kyle, has
anything surprised you right nowin the MLB postseason to where
we are right now?
SPEAKER_00 (48:16):
I mean, uh maybe how
we kind of got here.
Look, I know the the NL side uhprobably out of the
conversation, but like AmericanLeague, it's I don't know, it's
almost like you you feel likemaybe the Mariners could be uh a
(48:38):
team of destiny, but then it'slike the Blue Jays, it'd be good
for Vladdy Jr.
to get one.
You know, he he re-signed therefor what three years, I believe,
to show some loyalty to the BlueJays.
So that series has really got meinterested.
As a Red Sox fan, as always, anybody anybody but the Yankees,
(48:59):
so I'm glad they're not a partof this equation, but I'm kind
of hoping that series goes thedistance because I I've had a
lot of fun watching it.
Um Dodgers, Brewers.
I think what we're noticing isthe experience of the Dodgers is
shining through.
(49:20):
They've been here, they kind ofknow how to manage the emotions,
and I think the brewers havegotten a little bit hyped up and
have gotten out of their game.
Still a long series, so they canregain that.
And the odd thing is they mightbe able to do it on the road.
I think just being at home, they're just so amped up to
perform for the home crowd.
(49:42):
They might actually need someroad cooking to get it back
together.
So I wouldn't count them outyet, but the Dodgers are a tough
group to come back on.
SPEAKER_04 (49:52):
I'm right there with
you.
I the biggest problem is yourstars aren't aligning right now.
You have stars and the Dodgers, and the stars are showing why
they're the stars.
I mean, Otani hasn't even been aknock on wood, right?
He hasn't been huge in thisseries yet, but it's been
Freeman, it's been those guys,Tiasco Hernandez.
You know, it's been thepitching, it's been Snell, it's
been Yamamoto, it's been thoseguys stepping up and being the
(50:14):
guys that you need them to be ifyou're the Dodgers and just
coming up with postseasonmoments, right?
You when you watch at bats, you're like, this guy he needs
to have a moment right now, andyou miss those moments right now
with the Bruce Demon.
I think they're trying, likeyou're saying, and like I'm kind
of getting at is they're tryingto rely too heavily on the young
guys to do it.
When there's one guy who Iyelled about earlier on in the
(50:34):
show here that uh has not beenable to help the cause at all.
And I think that needs to beaddressed by the manager pretty
darn soon here because whenthere's no emotion, no anything
like that, the fight isn'tthere.
And I could see that I could seewhere the you get a little high
on the emotions.
You try you try to do too much, you try to do too much, you get
yourself in trouble.
I can definitely see that onethere.
So, Kyle, thank you as alwaysfor stopping by tonight.
(50:56):
Let the people know where tofind you out there across social
media.
SPEAKER_00 (51:00):

So we're wrapping up here onthis Wednesday.
The Brewers will have a day offtoday.
Tonight, they're gonna come backtomorrow, take on the Dodgers in
(52:14):
game three of that series.
We know Tyler Glass now is goingto go for the Dodgers.
The Brewers have been doing thisall postseason.
We have no idea who's gonnapitch for the Brewers.
I would assume it's gonna besome kind of uh combination of
Quintana, Mizorowski.
At this point here, I'm throwingMiz.
I'm throwing Miz.
You got to get back in thisseries somehow.
You might as well throw the gas.
You throw Miz.
If it fails, yeah, you gotQuintana to try and salvage a
(52:36):
game four with a veteran.
That's kind of where I'm atright now.
You got to throw Miz and seewhat happens because that's
yeah, that's where I'm at.
That's where I'm at.
It's Mizorowski for me in gamethree.
Roll him game four and see whatCantana has.
Also, I saw as I was at thebreak.
I saw another thing about MilesTurner.
And I just want to say I love tosee Miles Turner is just loving
Wisconsin because he was doinghe was at a pumpkin patch, it
(52:58):
looks like an apple orchardthere over the weekend.
He was down at American FamilyField.
He's been to a package, he'sbeen all over the place.
So it's awesome to see MilesTurner getting around there in
Wisconsin, just loving life inWisconsin.
So love to see that there, MilesTurner from the Bucks.
So, with that, this has beenWisconsin Sports on the Go with
Trades.
Thank you all for tuning in.
