Have you ever experienced that frustrating moment when you're locked out—standing helplessly at your front door without keys, or staring at a computer screen that won't accept your password? That feeling of exclusion runs deeper than we often realize.

Today, we journey through 1 Corinthians 15:20-23 to explore humanity's ultimate locked-out experience: separation from God. Through Adam, our human starting point, sin erected an impenetrable barrier between us and our Creator—introducing all the brokenness, hurt, and spiritual disconnection we experience. But this isn't where the story ends.

Christ's resurrection represents the divine locksmith's masterwork—not just picking the lock, but shattering the entire barrier. "Jesus didn't just patch things up," as we discover in today's reflection. "He broke through the barrier completely." His resurrection wasn't merely a personal victory but "the first of a great harvest," creating a pathway for everyone who belongs to Him. What began as a single crack in death's foundation has blown the entire wall wide open, inviting us into full belonging with God.

When life leaves you feeling excluded, remember this powerful truth: the most significant door has already been unlocked by Christ, and He's holding it open for you. Join us weekends for more spiritual refreshment with Lauren, and discover how ancient wisdom provides keys to today's challenges. Ready to walk through the open door? We'll be in 1 Corinthians, chapter 15, verses 20 through 23
from the New Living Translation.
But in fact Christ has beenrisen from the dead.
He is the first of a greatharvest of all who have died.
So you see, just as death cameinto the world through a man,

(00:45):
now the resurrection from thedead has begun through another
man.
Just as everyone dies becausewe all belong to Adam, everyone
who belongs to Christ will begiven new life.
But there is an order to thisresurrection.
Christ was raised as the firstof the harvest.
Then all who belong to Christwill be raised when he comes
back.

keys and can't get in the house,or maybe you try to log into

sometimes that feeling goesdeeper, like being left out of a
group, an opportunity or amoment that really mattered

Spiritually.
That's where we were, toolocked out of life with God.
Sin created a huge barrierbetween us and Him and we had no
way to break through it ThroughAdam, our human starting point.
Sin and death entered the world, and with them came all the
mess, brokenness, hurt, diseaseand separation from God.
But then Jesus stepped in.

(01:50):
Jesus didn't just patch thingsup.
He broke through the barriercompletely.
He lived a sinless life, diedin our place and then rose again
to open the way for us to haveforever life with God.
His resurrection was like thefirst crack in the wall that
blew the whole thing wide open.
Now we aren't stuck outsideanymore.

(02:10):
We belong.
We have a future, we have hope.
So think about this for asecond.
If you're feeling left out orlocked out of something today,
remember this Jesus alreadyunlocked the most important door
and he's holding it open foryou.
Pray with me, jesus.
Thank you for breaking throughevery barrier that kept me from
