the Three Keys to Creating aSacred Sex Life.
(01:51):
So I'm Christine Renee.
I think a lot of you know mefrom Moonrising Institute.
And I have been um studyingsexuality for a really long
time.
I am a certified sexualeducation facilitator through
our whole lives program.
I'm I was also studyingmidwifery for about five years.
(02:13):
So I've attended like 100 birthsand was kind of like the go-to
person asked for sexualityquestions during pregnancy and
postpartum and those types ofthings.
And I feel like it's just it'sit's ever present.
Like it's always been part of myworld to talk about our whole
(02:34):
selves.
And this is definitely part ofthat.
SPEAKER_00 (02:37):
And you've been
studying some tantra.
SPEAKER_06 (02:39):
And I've been
studying some tantra.
So I've been studying tantra forabout a year now and um really,
really enjoying the practices.
I think uh so much of myexperience has been in the
shamanic Reiki world and so manyof those practices.
As soon as you add the movementin, I was like, oh, and now now
we're now it's a tantricpractice.
(03:00):
So it was just it was reallyeasy to flow into because that's
what it felt like.
I'm finally flowing with theenergy instead of like forcing
the energy.
SPEAKER_00 (03:09):
It's always good to
be in flow with energy, but if
you're forcing energy, at leastyou're moving energy.
SPEAKER_06 (03:15):
Right, totally.
And this is Jim.
SPEAKER_00 (03:17):
Hi, yes, I'm Jim.
Uh so I Tantra is my passion.
I am currently studying to be aTantra teacher.
So my official title with theSky Dancing Tantra Institute is
Tantra Teacher in Training.
And I'm about a third of the waythrough a two-year program that
(03:39):
I've been assisting at workshopswith, week-long workshops,
weekend workshops, takingweek-long courses, doing that
sort of thing.
I've also led a number ofworkshops here in Bozeman on
intimacy and tantric-relatedstuff.
I'm also a licensed chakra dancefacilitator, and we do a lot of
stuff with energy centers inTantra as well.
(04:02):
So my background there, I've gotan MA in philosophy.
So I like, I do like to use mymind.
I know the mind is sometimes notthe most uh popular thing in in
the spirit world, but I've gotthat, and and I'm also in love
with you.
So there's that.
And so we we practice togetheras well.
SPEAKER_06 (04:24):
Absolutely.
Yum.
So what we're going to becovering tonight is what is
tantra?
What is the spiritual side ofsexuality?
Why create sacred space?
What are the three keys ofTantra?
And then we'll have a practice,a QA.
And we're also going to tell youa little bit about our master
class that's coming up.
So let's go ahead and dive in.
SPEAKER_00 (04:46):
Okay.
So the very first question iswhat is tantra?
So we're talking about sacredsexuality, and that is
associated usually with a fieldcalled Tantra.
And I'm just going to read thisstraight up because I wrote it
and I like it.
So there isn't one right answer.
SPEAKER_06 (05:04):
I wrote that.
SPEAKER_00 (05:06):
She did write that.
While tantra has as manydefinitions as people
practicing, for us, tantra is anexperiential practice of
expanding individual alivenessby cultivating our conscious
awareness or Shiva and energeticflow or Shakti using the three
(05:26):
keys of breath, sound, andmovement.
And I want to say that yes, there is gonna, you're gonna
hear all kinds of definitions oftantra, but this is what this is
what we are coming with.
And I want to highlight the wordexperiential.
One reason, even in the webinar,we're doing a practice is you
(05:48):
can't just talk about tantra, you do tantra.
And what that means ends upbeing whatever you experience
through the various ways ofpracticing.
And in my school, Sky DancingTantra, this these three keys,
the Shiva Shakti, theexperiential, and the expanding
(06:09):
of aliveness are very tied tothat school.
So I I am bringing what Ibelieve in, and but I really owe
a debt of gratitude to myteachers in Sky Dancing Tantra.
And that lineage really roots inthe teachings of a woman named
Margot Anand.
And if you're curious, you canjust look her up.
But in this course that we'retalking about, we're gonna go
(06:30):
really deeper into thisdefinition, its history, um,
what makes it unique anddifferent, and maybe some of the
other lineages of Tantra uhassociated with it, so that we
get so we know where we'replaced in this practice, but
we're gonna focus on practice.
SPEAKER_06 (06:46):
Yeah, absolutely.
And know that if you want tohear this slide more fully, our
last podcast over on WisdomRising was on this.
We talked about it for like afull hour.
So know that there's so manydifferent angles, so many ways
to look at this, so manymisconceptions.
And this is what we're gonna bebringing forward.
SPEAKER_00 (07:06):
Yeah, it's a good
podcast.
And it's actually only 45minutes.
SPEAKER_06 (07:08):
So yeah, it's not
even that long.
So the spiritual side ofsexuality, so each of you are
born complete.
This is one of the things that Ireally appreciate about the
Tantra perspective is that youare whole just the way you are.
There's nothing to fix.
We have both the feminine, theShakti, and the masculine Shiva
qualities within us.
(07:29):
And so when both aspects ofourselves are fully integrated
from our sexual root to ourspiritual crown, we fully
express our divinity.
And then you get to reclaim yourbirthright as a blissful god or
goddess that you are.
And that's the foundation ofspiritual sexuality.
And for me, I find that this isa really beautiful understanding
(07:51):
that you have both within you.
It's not that just because I'mfemale means I'm fully in Shakti
energy all the time.
We have this balance and thisflow of both.
And which qualities are welearning how to flow within?
And that that's a reallybeautiful part of this practice
(08:13):
is really understanding that I'mwhole just the way I am, and I
can express myself all thefullness of who I am, and
there's nothing to fix.
I'm just finding the flow ofboth of those energies.
What do you want to add to them?
SPEAKER_00 (08:25):
Yeah, and I want to
add that if the words are
getting in the way, the Shakti, the Shiva, the God, the goddess,
the divinity, I don't think theyneed to get in the way.
I think all we need to do isnotice within ourselves that we
have different aspects toourselves.
So when we talk about Shakti,we're just talking about energy.
We're talking about what we do,how we are, how what we feel.
(08:50):
And I'm sort of exhibiting itright now, if you're watching me
on camera, through through mymovement.
Um, the other aspect is that wehave this quality of holding a
container, being contained inthis.
We use words like grounded, orwe use words like uh I'm holding
(09:12):
space.
And those are things that we do,right?
We if somebody comes to usupset, we are the container for
their upset, or we're upset andwe find a way to self-regulate,
go on with our day, do thingslike that.
And in this class, we'll godeeper into this, but I just
want to say that if those arethe hangups, I don't think they
(09:35):
need to be because all we haveto notice is that we have these
qualities in ourselves.
And what we're proposing is thatwhen those are well integrated
in us, happy things happen.
SPEAKER_06 (09:47):
Happy things happen.
Yeah, it's it's very much likeyou can recognize, like if you
are an um energy practitioner orhave studied the chakras, you
can really recognize how theenergy is flowing within you and
which qualities these areinviting in and which needs to
come into balance.
And as you move the energythrough, oftentimes it comes to
a point where you are having anemotional expression, you're
(10:09):
having some type of release, andthat allows more fuller energy
to be with held within yourbody.
So, yes, it's it's this lovelybalance dance of these two
energies.
SPEAKER_00 (10:21):
And if that still
doesn't mean anything to you,
I'm just asking you to trust usto do these practices and see
for yourself what happens.
I'm very happy.
Are you happy?
SPEAKER_06 (10:36):
Absolutely.
I was just waiting for you toread the next slide.
Right.
SPEAKER_00 (10:42):
I'm not gonna read
this whole slide, but what we do
is we contain everything.
So we're talking aboutcontainers again.
So Shiva principle in somethingcalled a sacred space.
And a lot of people who dospiritual practices set up
something called a sacred space.
They set up their altar, theymake their room somewhat
different than the normal world.
(11:03):
And we do that, we do all thosethings, but we mean something
more by that in a tantricpractice.
What I have learned from myteachers is this beautiful
ritual where we share, uh, wecreate a container and we share
these beautiful thoughts witheach other.
We see the other person as anaspect of the divine.
(11:27):
And then we talk about ourdesires, fears, and boundaries
within that.
So it's a communicationcontainer for us to be able to
do all kinds of other practicesfrom within.
SPEAKER_06 (11:38):
Absolutely.
And I think the reason why thiscan be so potent is that it can
be utilized in so many differentspaces.
Yes, maybe you're gonna dosacred space the way we are
proposing it before you do um atantric practice, but you can
also do it before you go on abig travel, before a shift is
happening, if you're gonna movesomewhere.
(11:59):
You know, like there's alldifferent ways that this can be
a very applicable practice,whether you're a practitioner,
whether this is in your ownindividual relationships,
whether you're having sacredspace with a parent or a child,
like there's so many ways thatyou can replicate this in
different areas of your life.
And when it's put into yoursacred sexuality, it really
(12:21):
gives that an opportunity tospeak to your desires, your
fears, your boundaries, including what you're consenting
to and what you're notconsenting to, and all of those
things in between to really makesure that your voice is heard.
SPEAKER_00 (12:35):
And we're gonna
really look deeply in this and
for a full week of our of ourmasterclass.
Right now you're getting ataste.
SPEAKER_06 (12:44):
Just a taste.
You get a little, a littleyumminess, right?
But we'll get the you'll get thefull full picture here soon
enough if you join us for themasterclass.
So the three keys of tantrareally are about moving energy.
There are tools to move energy.
And so there are breath, sound, and movement.
And so just like I said earlier, when I'm a Reiki practitioner
(13:07):
and doing my practice that way,I've been really holding space
and really still.
And then as soon as I waslearning the meditation, like I
learned these meditations andstillness, and now we're adding
the breath, we're adding thesound, we're adding the
movement.
It's like brings it to a wholenew level because you can really
feel that energy move from thatthat uh sexual root to that
(13:27):
spiritual crown.
Like you're moving the energy upand through utilizing these
three keys.
SPEAKER_00 (13:33):
Yes, we will have
entire weeks devoted to each one
of these of these keys.
They're all important, right?
We can say energy, energy, energy, but we're not, you know,
we're not really integrateduntil we move that energy in
modern society.
I would say our sexual core isvery unintegrated.
(13:55):
That's not the only part of usthat's unintegrated, right?
So moving that energy helps usdeal with the lack of balances.
And if that's too woo for you,we'll we'll just do the
practices and see how what comesup for you.
SPEAKER_06 (14:09):
Well, and I think
that's it.
Like things move.
Like I remember doing thesepractices and hitting a part, a
spot in my heart center, and itwas like, oh, and there's all of
this grief.
And then you're having you'removing this energy and
recognizing where does theenergy want to stagnate?
Where does it want to stop?
And then you're you're using thethese tools, these keys to kind
(14:30):
of bust through that stagnation.
And that is just so powerful.
It's so incredibly powerful.
And and so whether you're doingthis practice alone as a solo
practice or as a couple, bothare applicable, but it's about
the energy movement from within.
SPEAKER_04 (14:47):
Yes.
unknown (14:48):
Okay.
SPEAKER_06 (14:48):
Okay.
And so now we get to do apractice.
And so we want to invite youinto this practice.
We'll we'll go through umquestions and have more
information at the end, but we'dlove to do a practice with you
now.
All right.
So we're going to We're going todo a um a mini demo of sacred
space.
You're not going to see the fullthing.
If you want to know how to do itfor yourself and know how to do
(15:12):
all of the components, be sureto join us for the masterclass.
But you're going to get a littletaste here.
SPEAKER_00 (15:16):
Yes.
SPEAKER_06 (15:17):
And we're going to
bring you guys all into the
bubbles.
SPEAKER_00 (15:19):
Okay.
So let's bring our handstogether, but we're going to
point our fingertips downtowards the earth.
On your next inhale, bring yourhands up to heart position.
With your eyes open, lean asclose as you're comfortable to
the person's forehead and lookin their eyes.
Breathe back in, hands to heartposition.
(15:40):
And breathe out, fingertips backdown to the earth.
And then we'll create a sacredbubble.
SPEAKER_06 (15:48):
Adding that.
SPEAKER_00 (15:51):
And you can have fun
with us.
It's sacred, but it doesn't meanit has to be not fun.
SPEAKER_02 (16:02):
Right.
SPEAKER_00 (16:03):
So now we're in our
sacred bubble.
And like we said, there's a lotmore to the ceremony, but we're
just going to put ourselves inthere and put you all in there
as well.
SPEAKER_06 (16:12):
Okay.
So this next part is where weremove things from the bubble
that doesn't serve us in thistime, in this moment.
So this might be I am going toremove the fear of judgment of
others.
I'm going to take that out ofthe bubble for me.
SPEAKER_00 (16:26):
I'm going to take
out the fear that I'm speaking
awkwardly.
SPEAKER_06 (16:32):
I'm going to take
out the fear that this is just a
performance.
So then we're going to callthings in.
We're going to pull energy andattributes, emotions that we
want to have inside our bubble.
So I'm going to call in somejoy.
SPEAKER_00 (16:49):
I'll call in some
joy.
SPEAKER_06 (16:51):
I would like to call
in some playfulness.
Oh, yeah, please.
Um I'm going to call in myspirit guides.
SPEAKER_00 (17:03):
I'm going to call in
authenticity.
SPEAKER_06 (17:06):
And vulnerability.
I think I'm good.
Okay.
We're going to do a breath workexercise.
And the reason why I wanted tobring this in is because it's
such an easy one to follow alongwith and you can visualize it
yourself.
So we want to invite you intothis practice as well.
So if you're watching, if you'relistening, feel free to note how
(17:31):
the energy moves in your ownbody.
Notice where how your bodyfeels, how your body moves
naturally.
And so this is a breath workpractice that's a Taoist
tradition.
And we inhale up the back andexhale down the front.
And so this is about moving theenergy through this loop system
from your root chakra, wherethe, if you get to the very
(17:54):
physicality of root chakra, it'sat your perineum.
And so you're bringing thatenergy, inhaling it up the back,
exhaling down the front.
So it's going up the back, looping over your crown chakra,
and then exhaling down.
And on that exhale, it's areally beautiful release.
It's like everything that nolonger serves me in this time
and in this moment, I'm lettingit go and bringing it down to
(18:16):
the earth.
So I'm inhaling up all of theseblessings from Mother Earth,
from Pachamama, whatever youwant to tangibly feel into it.
You're inhaling it up andexhaling, releasing what no
longer serves you.
Okay.
So if it helps to move yourhands to kind of guide your
practice, go for it.
But we're going to do a couplebreath work loops to see how
(18:37):
that feels for everyone.
And then we'll talk about it.
We'll add in another element andkeep going.
SPEAKER_00 (18:42):
So why are we doing
breath?
SPEAKER_06 (18:43):
Uh, because it's one
of the tantric three T's and it
is a very amazing energy mover.
SPEAKER_00 (18:50):
Okay.
Seems self-evident to me, but ifyou have questions about it,
bring it up in the chat.
SPEAKER_06 (18:55):
Yeah, absolutely.
Okay.
So we're gonna just notice yourinhale.
Exhale down.
SPEAKER_05 (19:05):
Inhale up.
Exhale down just a few morebreaths.
SPEAKER_06 (20:03):
And then noticing
what you noticed as you did the
basics of this breath work, noticing how energy moved, what
your emotions were like, if youfelt silly about it, whatever it
may be, just noticing what younoticed.
SPEAKER_00 (20:18):
Yeah, you may have
felt nothing at all.
And that's fine too.
A lot of our practices are justabout noticing.
If you felt something great, youdon't feel something great.
SPEAKER_06 (20:31):
I think for me, what
I noticed right away when I
start with breath work, and alot of this I think is muscle
memory for me, is that when Istart breathing, my mind becomes
quiet.
It becomes calming.
And so then I'm at a calm spacein my heart.
I'm a calm space in my body, andI'm not thinking of 10 things at
once.
(20:51):
Like if you saw how many tabsopen I have on my internet
browser, that's kind of how mybrain works sometimes.
And so I have a lot of thingsgoing on.
And when I actually bring in thebreath, I'm thinking about the
way the energy is moving.
I'm actually visually feelingthe energy, like I'm envisioning
what it's like to have theenergy move up in this pattern.
(21:12):
And using my hands to guide thepractice keeps me focused.
SPEAKER_00 (21:18):
Yeah, and that's one
breath work practice, right?
There's many different breathwork practices.
Thousands.
Even in a even in this course,we'll only get to some of them.
And some of them are morecalming, and some of them are
more energetic.
This was a very calm one, and itdoes that.
There are other ones where youreally feel deep in your body
(21:39):
because you're going, you'rechanging the pace, you're
moving, you're moving otherparts of your body with the
breath, and that can be um thatcan really shake things up,
shake things up, and it canbring up big emotions.
Either happy or sad, or anythingin between.
(22:01):
Yeah, it can bring up all kindsof things, right?
So in in this case, we're justgetting a taste, and that's this
is a very grounding breath.
But we may also do breaths thatreally charge, really charge you
and can go much faster.
SPEAKER_06 (22:16):
Yes, yeah.
And yet sometimes those are likeactivating your own natural DMT
in your lungs, and so you mightbe having visions at the same
time.
And so it can you, there's likehere's the the basic, and then
it just becomes more and moreum, I want to say profound, like
the practice itself can getbigger, even with this one.
(22:36):
There's ways to hold your bodyin a certain way to lock the
energy in, and and then you'reyou're like power washing your
chakras from the inside.
Like there's there's more andmore layers to this.
And we would just wanted it tooffer a very easy practice that
you guys could follow along withvery quickly.
And so now what we're gonna dois we're gonna add in sound to
(22:56):
that.
SPEAKER_00 (22:57):
Sound is a hard one
for a lot of people to access.
Maybe in some families, peopleyell and scream at each other.
Um, but in most cases, we'retaught to repress our voice a
lot.
You know, don't talk until it'syour turn to talk.
Don't don't speak out of turn, stay quiet, um, only speak if
(23:19):
you have something useful tosay.
We're afraid in a lot, especially I would say in white
American culture to be um tomake noise, but making that
sound can really move energy.
SPEAKER_02 (23:36):
Right.
SPEAKER_00 (23:37):
And again, it a lot
of the work is noticing how you
feel.
So we can do a sound practicethat doesn't feel comfortable.
And it may not sound comfortablewhen we're doing it, because I'm
I'm conscious that I'm in aquiet room with a mic, not sure
how it's gonna come out on theon the on the recording, on the
(23:59):
recording.
SPEAKER_06 (23:59):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (24:00):
And yet, if I really
want to move that energy, the
more I can let that go and allowthe sound to come out,
especially in tandem withbreath, because you can't make
sound without breath, allowingit to come out is is powerful.
SPEAKER_06 (24:15):
It's powerful.
And one of the things that youcan do with your lips to help
enhance that inhale is make asucking sound.
So you're literally sucking thatenergy up in it.
And so as you're breathing upyour back, you're sucking it up
and then exhaling.
That exhale can just be a simplesigh, it can be a moan, it can
(24:36):
be whatever needs to come out.
SPEAKER_00 (24:38):
It can be loud.
SPEAKER_06 (24:38):
It can be loud, it
can be soft, it can be anything
that feels good to you.
And I think this is so much oflike practicing our voice,
practicing our sound is soimportant because if we are
trying to be in a sacred sexualpractice with a partner, being
able to communicate and use yourvoice, this is a very great way
to help clear the throat chakra.
(25:00):
So if you have energeticstagnations in the throat center
and the throat chakra, this is areally great way to clear it out
so that you can really feel freeto express yourself however that
looks.
SPEAKER_00 (25:11):
You didn't want me
to flirt with you, but it sure
is.
SPEAKER_06 (25:16):
Okay.
All right, shall we try it?
Okay, so once again, we're doingthe same breath work.
We're gonna invite you to do itwith us.
So if you're listening, ifyou're watching, feel free to
energetically breathe with us.
Use your hands if you need to,make the sound.
I'm gonna encourage you topractice too.
SPEAKER_00 (25:36):
Especially on the
exhale, right?
SPEAKER_06 (25:37):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (25:39):
That's usually when
it would come out.
SPEAKER_06 (25:41):
And notice what you
notice happening in your body
when you do it.
All right.
All right, here we go.
(26:54):
And like I'm ready to bring inthe movement, right?
Right.
So notice what you notice onceagain, just noticing how it
feels to bring in the sound.
Notice if it brought in beingself-conscious, notice if it
brought in being like, oh myGod, I love this.
I wish I could do this moreoften.
Whatever it was, just noticewhat that was for you.
SPEAKER_00 (27:15):
Yes, I what I
noticed was that same calming
breath, suddenly felt a littlemore charged having the breath.
Also, having other sounds nearme uh added to that charge as
well.
SPEAKER_06 (27:31):
My hands are
tingling.
Right?
Like you're you're getting somuch oxygen in the body.
And so, know too that if youfeel something that feels
uncomfortable, you all you haveto do is slow it all down.
You can slow down your breath, and then you can notice what
that feels like.
SPEAKER_00 (27:48):
It all of this works
in the noticing.
It may not feel good, you maynot feel charged, you may feel
negative things come up, you mayfeel coffee you drank or
something else moving in yourgut.
Tantra is in the noticing of thefeeling.
SPEAKER_04 (28:06):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (28:06):
The practice is only
to evoke the deeper noticing.
And in that deeper noticing, themore you can feel calm in that,
the more you will beintegrating.
SPEAKER_03 (28:19):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (28:20):
You may not feel
good, but you can feel calm and
not feeling good.
Right.
You may feel really good.
Can you feel calm and not infeeling really good?
Right.
Can you notice both the allowingof the energy, that's Shakti,
and that's Shiva?
SPEAKER_06 (28:34):
Well, what I noticed
is that my my jaw got tense.
Like whether it was the way Iwas holding my mouth or that
this is a throat shock or energyrelease or whatever it is, like
I'm noticing that my my my jawis tense.
And so it's not something that Ineed to fix.
It's just, oh, look, there'sthat.
There's that, there's an elementthere, right?
(28:55):
Yeah, beautiful.
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (28:58):
So movement.
SPEAKER_06 (28:59):
Movement.
We're gonna add in movement.
I I I love this part.
Um, because it, if you cannotice the difference between
breath and sound, imagine likethis is just gonna, it's just
adding in more of that energeticmotion to it.
So when you move, you can moveany way that feels good to you,
(29:21):
but you can do a spiral and likeyou're spiraling the energy up
through the chakras.
You can undulate the spine sothat you're literally bringing
the energy up from root all theway to crown.
You can move back and forth, youcan move your hips to a figure
eight.
There's all different kinds ofways to move.
And energetically, you're sayingyou're it's an invitation of
(29:43):
bringing that earth energy upyour body and exhaling it down
and noticing what you notice asyou add movement into the
practice.
SPEAKER_00 (29:52):
It doesn't even have
to have a pattern at all.
And yeah, if you notice, wealready were bringing in
movement just by moving ourhands, right?
We were bringing in movement.
But if you can also just see ifsome movement naturally arises
and it can be whatever, it canbe chaotic, right?
SPEAKER_06 (30:10):
It's all gonna be
supportive.
SPEAKER_00 (30:12):
And if you don't
feel movement, I would suggest
maybe forcing it a little justto just to try it.
But if it comes up naturally, fantastic.
We're trying to get to a placethat feels natural.
But if it doesn't feel natural,in my teaching, um, you should
(30:32):
you should fake it till you makeit.
You should try movement becausethat can be an edge for people
also.
SPEAKER_06 (30:38):
Right.
Just like sound can be an edgefor some people.
So I know for me as an energypractitioner, like when I'm
doing Reiki, my body willvibrate.
Like I can already feel my bodydoing this.
This is my normal energeticmovement.
Like I'm tapped in, here we go.
Right.
And so it's noticing if it comesthrough very small and subtle,
(30:58):
or if you want to invite bignessand notice noticing how it feels
to just where are you calm?
And where can you find thatgrowth edge of like, what if I
moved a little bit more?
How would that feel?
Am I in this?
Do I feel safe and secure in mybody and my environment to
invite that in?
SPEAKER_00 (31:17):
Okay, shall we do
another?
So we're gonna do that samepractice and we're going to do
breath, we're gonna keep thesound, and we're going to invite
in even more movement if itarises.
SPEAKER_05 (31:30):
Yeah.
So join with us, okay?
Inhaling up the back, exhalingdown the front.
SPEAKER_06 (33:08):
And noticing what
you notice, notice what element
that brought in.
SPEAKER_00 (33:12):
I need a breath to
grieve ground for some.
SPEAKER_06 (33:18):
You're bringing your
energy up, it's going higher and
higher oftentimes.
SPEAKER_00 (33:22):
And you notice, uh,
I mean, I was vaguely aware that
her movements, I think, were alittle bigger than mine.
And sometimes you can be reallysubtle.
We can barely notice themovement.
As long as you have theintention of movement, to me,
it's movement.
SPEAKER_06 (33:36):
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00 (33:39):
And in a class, we
might not just connect it, we
may do some other kinds ofmovement as well.
SPEAKER_06 (33:45):
There's lots of
different ways to bring in these
three keys and different ways toelicit that energy within.
Yeah.
So the tingling, it feels it mayfeel good, it may feel abnormal.
Notice what you notice.
I definitely am there.
And I also have this littletingling at like my third eye
crown.
Like I could feel that I wasbringing the energy all the way
(34:07):
up into that third eye crownspace.
Right.
And so this is part of thehealing side of tantra work is
that you are energeticallymoving this energy all the way
through your body.
SPEAKER_00 (34:21):
Yeah.
When you mentioned the thirdeye, I could feel it because
there's all kinds of ways we cando this.
We can have a continuous breath.
We can do pauses.
And sometimes in the pauses, youstart.
I feel floaty.
SPEAKER_03 (34:36):
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (34:38):
We could do it with
no pauses.
We can change the speed.
And we can also invite otherkinds of movement with it.
And sound with it.
SPEAKER_06 (34:46):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (34:46):
Because you can do
mantras, you can do oh, for
sure.
You can be dancing.
SPEAKER_06 (34:50):
Yes.
SPEAKER_00 (34:51):
You'd be doing all
kinds of all kinds of fun
things.
And we will be doing all kindsof fun things.
SPEAKER_06 (34:57):
Definitely.
SPEAKER_00 (34:58):
So one of our
participants said that the uh
that the sound felt moreenergetic.
SPEAKER_06 (35:06):
Yeah.
Like you're adding in that, okay, this is more, and this is
more.
I think feel like part of me forme, what tantra is an invit
invitation to be more of who youare, more of fullness of
yourself.
And so I had a lot of yearswhere I felt like I must be too
much.
Like I had too like a lot of toomuch qualities.
(35:27):
And the tantra's like, oh yeah,be all of that.
And I'm like, yes, yeah.
Great.
Okay.
This this fantastic.
SPEAKER_00 (35:35):
Right.
We're saying all of you iswelcome.
All of you.
Negative emotions, positiveemotions, all of you.
We're not pre preferencing one.
That's why we're talking aboutevery aspect being within you.
We divide it into the masculineand feminine, but we don't have
to divide it that way.
We can divide it all kinds ofways.
And some people may feeluncomfortable with that
(35:57):
division.
That's okay.
Whatever it is that you are, allow that in.
And the more you allow it in, mybelief is the more blissful you
are.
SPEAKER_06 (36:06):
Right.
And this is all about likecultivating an ecstatic life and
really feeling completely alivein your world and your
experiences and what's going tohelp you cultivate that.
And it's like a muscle.
If you're practicing this, howdo you live life fully?
How can you speak up your truth?
How can you feel your heartopen?
(36:27):
How can you recognize whensomething is turning you on and
you're like, oh, I want toexplore that?
Like all of that is like thefreedom and liberation that you
can experience with tantrapractices.
All right.
Well, I'm going to tell you alittle bit about our masterclass
coming up.
I'm pulling up my calendar tomake sure I get the dates right.
So we start on um November 5th,and we're going to go for five
(36:52):
weeks.
And on the week of Thanksgiving,we're going to have just office
hours.
So if you want to have a quickcheck-in with us, if you have
questions, we're not going tohave a whole class at night
because it's the day beforeThanksgiving.
And if you're traveling or withfamily, like we get it.
So we are going to step intothis space together of learning
how to create sacred space.
(37:13):
We're going to have each, that'sgoing to be one week, just
sacred space, how to havecontainers.
We're going to do, we're goingto do the full practice with all
of the elements and really giveyou the understanding of why
this is so potent and beautifulto add into your own sacred sex
life, whether this is for doingit with yourself or with a
(37:34):
partner.
And then we're going to moveinto the three keys.
And so each week we're going tobe focusing on one of the three
keys.
So the first week will be onafter sacred space will be
breath, then sound, thenmovement, as we did tonight, but
we're going to be able to bringin so much more because we're
going to have a two-hour classto work within.
(37:54):
And so each week we're going tobe creating a sacred container
to demo that, doing somewhat ofa sacred space bubble.
We're going to be giving somekind of short mini lesson and
then dive into practices becausethat's really where the work is,
is when you actually can feel itin your body.
So that's so important.
(38:15):
And then the fifth week is goingto be a QA.
How do you cultivate that sacredsex life?
How do you move these energieswithin any of your further
questions, or if there's acommonality in the group of
like, I would really love youguys to cover this aspect, or
how can I have couple practicesor whatever it may be?
(38:36):
We are going to be able toanswer those questions.
SPEAKER_00 (38:38):
Yeah, it could be
questions around sexuality and
how those tie in, other things.
SPEAKER_06 (38:43):
All of it.
It's really kind of like a we'reholding space for that last week
to be your interests.
And then we can dive into thoseprocesses.
SPEAKER_00 (38:52):
But this is an
intro.
SPEAKER_06 (38:53):
This is an intro
class.
SPEAKER_00 (38:54):
So we're not doing
any there's no nudity.
SPEAKER_06 (38:58):
There is no um no
sexual demos of any kind.
It will really um we really wantto give you guys a taste in the
flavor of why this can be soenhancing for your life.
And then if you want to do umfurther work, then please let us
know.
SPEAKER_00 (39:15):
Yes, please let us
know.
SPEAKER_06 (39:17):
Um I mean, ideally,
we'd love to do some retreats,
absolutely, workshops.
We want to do all like privateone-on-ones, like all these
things are in the realm ofpossibility.
And there's almost so much wecan do on Zoom, but we want
everyone to know how much thisis a game changer in your
individual life and yourrelationship.
Like, I know for me when Istarted Tantra, it was it was an
(39:40):
individual practice, and I waslike, holy crap, what was that?
I think every woman needs toknow this because it happened to
be a woman's Tantra retreat thatI was at, right?
And ever since then, I'm just Ican't stop talking about it.
Like if if we I've been movingenergy and been very excited
about moving energy for 20 yearsof my life, and now bringing in
(40:02):
this element has reallyilluminated, expanded, liberated
so many areas within myself thatI'm I'm very excited to share
that with students, clients, theworld, whatever it may be.
SPEAKER_00 (40:17):
Yeah, I I believe
all of these applications, uh
just doing this course, Ibelieve you'll feel a
difference.
And then it sets you up fordeeper for even deeper study.
But just doing these basics, Ido these basics all the time.
And I find them the most I findthem extremely helpful.
(40:37):
Just the sacred space tool aloneis a transformational tool.
SPEAKER_06 (40:43):
Yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_00 (40:45):
Bringing in breath,
movement, and sound.
I mean, movement, dance changedmy life.
Dance helped me in so manypositive ways.
But there are then applicationsthat we could apply to both um
to a sex practice because oursociety does is sexually
repressed.
Absolutely.
We're not going to we're notgoing to do that exactly in the
(41:07):
course, but we can talk abouthow those things apply.
I think maybe you can get asense of how they might apply.
SPEAKER_06 (41:14):
Yeah.
Right.
Yeah, the masterclass.
It's gonna be on um on my schoolplatform.
So if you're new to me, I'm uhthe director, founder, creator
of Moonrising ShamanicInstitute.
And we have a lovely circle appthat we can post resources,
(41:35):
material, pre-recorded videos, all of the call replays on a
platform so that you can easilygo through it.
It can it's an app on yourphone.
So you want to watch the replay, you missed a call, whatever it
may be, and do a practices againand again with yourself or with
your partner.
That will all be really easyfrom the app.
Yeah.
So I'm available, Jim'savailable.
(41:55):
You can reach out to us onsocial media platforms where I'm
sure you found us.
And if you have questions, letus know.
We'd love to be able to meetyour needs and see where you're
at and what you're comfortablewith.
Like we really want to create aspace that can be supportive for
where you are in your journeyand make you feel like you can
be as comfortable joining withus.
(42:17):
Thanks everyone for coming on.
Is there anything else you wantto share?
SPEAKER_00 (42:22):
It's just a delight
to do stuff with you.
SPEAKER_06 (42:24):
I know it really is.
SPEAKER_00 (42:26):
It really is.
SPEAKER_06 (42:27):
It really is.
So Jim's been gone for a coupleof weeks and he didn't we have
barely got to see each otheryet.
And so we're talking on thephone on his drive back, and
we're like, what are we doingfor this webinar?
What do you want to do?
And it was this the sweetestmoment of like he's been
practicing facilitating for histantrum teacher training for two
weeks.
And then he's like, Wow, you'reso easy to plan with, you're so
(42:48):
easy to facilitate with.
And I'm like, Oh, well, that'sgood.
SPEAKER_00 (42:52):
Yeah, I've been
facilitating with some lovely
people and had some greatpractices, but it's a lot
different doing with someone whoknows you inside and out.
SPEAKER_06 (43:01):
Yeah, for sure.
Yeah.
And I think that when you'reused to each other and the
practice, you know, right beforewe came on, Jim asked me, Hey,
do you have any desires, fears, and boundaries for this webinar?
And you know, like even like wedidn't do a full sacred space,
but it's to close this one.
It's a common language that isnow normalized for us to use.
(43:26):
And we do need to close oursacred bubble.
So that's good.
So what we're gonna do is onceagain, we're gonna face each
other and we're gonna we'regonna pop the bubble for all of
us, but we want to invite you todo it too.
So we are gonna pop our bubblein three, two, one, and pop.
Let that all fall away, and onefinal heart salutation.
(43:48):
Inhaling up to heart.
Exhale.
Inhale up and exhale.
All right, so much love andgratitude for all of you for
taking the time this evening tocome and join us for this
webinar.
Lots of love.
Have a great rest of your week, and we will see you next time.
(44:10):
