Do you give yourself permission to rest or are you always trying to do more?

Capitalism teaches us that we should be in perpetual summer, constantly doing and producing, but Mother Nature teaches us something different: the importance of honoring our seasons of rest.

Join me and Brenda Moreno as we reflect on getting in tune with our bodies and honoring our need to rest. As the trees let go of their dead leaves, think about what you might need to let go of before you can move forward into your spring and summer.

Brenda identifies as an anti-oppression practitioner. She was born in Mexico City but was partially raised in India. She’s traveled the world, attending middle school in South Carolina, high school in Wales, and college in Massachusetts. After Hampshire College, Brenda experienced diverse roles in advocacy as a youth program coordinator at a refugee resettlement organization, later as a bilingual counselor for survivors and victims of intimate partner violence, and finally as a peer recovery coach.

Resting is a revolution. Tune in to join us in it!
