Welcome back to the "Wrong To Strong" 2-Minute Devotionals. On this episode  Dionne Garcia, shares a two-minute devotional on the importance of faith, drawing from Genesis 22 where Abraham's faith is tested when God commands him to sacrifice his son. She reflects on how this story demonstrates trusting in God, recalling an experience while she was incarcerated where she learned to put her faith in God rather than in people. Ultimately, she emphasizes that in challenging situations, believers should look to God for guidance and provision.

(00:32):
Stay strong, keep the faith andlet's grow together.
We're on a mission from God fromdarkness to light.
And from Wrong To Strong.
Hello, my name is Dionne Garciaand I am doing wrong.
Two Strong's, two minutedevotion.

(00:53):
We are going to be reading outof Genesis 22 where Abraham's
faith is being tested when Godspeaks to him and tells him to
take his son, his only son, andto sacrifice him.
How many of us have been tested?
I can't even think of what Iwould do if my faith were to be
tested in that way with any ofmy children.

(01:15):
But what I do know is that thisparticular story is very, very
deep.
It speaks on how Abraham's faithwas so strong in the Lord that
he went as far as going tosacrifice his son.
And just at that moment when hewas about to slaughter him, God
provided a ram.

(01:37):
Now.
The way that this story takes aturn is that God puts that ram
in a thicket.
I had really not known yet whatthat meant when I read it, but
one particular authoritativefigure while I was incarcerated
had brought that to me andbasically I was putting my faith
in her to release me to sign mypapers so that I would be free.

(02:01):
And at that point she told me,if you are a woman of God,
Garcia, there's always a ram inthe bush, and God will provide.
I still had not known what thatmeant until I started to get
deeper into the word and doresearch particularly on this
and what it meant.
And so what I learned was nomatter what it is, we should
always put our faith in God, notin man, not in anyone, but to

(02:24):
know that he will always providethat ram.
So if you ever find yourself ina particular situation or
circumstances that you find noway out, look up, and God will
provide that ram.
my name is Dionne Garcia and Iam wrong.
