Have you ever felt God just can't or won't love you?

Maybe it's because of something you've done, thoughts you can't shake, or simply because life feels heavy right now.

Here's the revolutionary truth: Jesus still loves you, right where you are today.

Romans 8:38-39 has one of the Bible's most powerful promises: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither present nor future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." This isn't just beautiful poetry – it's a life-changing reality that stands firm regardless of your current circumstances.

So, what makes us feel distant from God's love? Our emotions, our critical inner thoughts, and our feelings about our past mistakes.

Thankfully, feelings aren't facts!

Your thoughts about your past or your guilt or your shame can't build walls high enough to keep out God's love. Even your sins – past, present and future – cannot separate you from the One who loved you enough to die for you.

This isn't about being tolerated by God. It's about being genuinely, deeply, and permanently loved by Him.

Whether you're walking through a season of doubt, carrying shame from past mistakes, or simply need a reminder of God's unwavering affection, these few minutes might be exactly what your heart needs to hear.

Share this with someone else who could use the reminder that God's love isn't earned – it's given freely, and nothing can take it away.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Okay.
So today we want to remind youof something that your heart
might need to hear right nowJesus still loves you.
Yeah, you, even now.
Right now, even with everything.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Let's root that truth in two incredibly powerful
verses Romans 8, 38 and 39.
For I am convinced that neitherdeath nor life, neither angels
nor demons.
For I am convinced that neitherdeath nor life, neither angels
nor demons, neither present northe future, nor any powers,
neither height nor depth, noranything else in all creation
will be able to separate us fromthe love of God that is in

(00:56):
Christ Jesus, our Lord.
That's a promise, a foreverpromise.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Yeah, it is.
But I mean, if we're going tobe real, there are days we don't
feel very loved by God.
Maybe you're tired, maybeyou're just walking through
something super heavy, or maybeyou're dealing with some shame
or failure or regret, and inthat fog it can be easy to
believe that God's love is outof our reach.
But here's a hard truthFeelings aren't facts.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
And thank God.
God's love isn't based on howyou feel today.
It's based on who he is.
He's constant, unchanging andfull of mercy and grace.
Even when your emotions try toconvince you otherwise, his love
stands firm.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Yeah, and sometimes it's not about how we feel, but
what we think.
And that inner voice can be soloud and you know the one right
you messed up again.
You're not good enough.
Why would God love?

Speaker 1 (01:55):
you.
Jesus doesn't love you becauseyou've had perfect thoughts or
flawless faith.
He loves you because he choseto.
Romans 8 doesn't say nothingcan separate us from God's love.
Unless you doubt, unless youthink the wrong thing, it says
nothing.
Nothing can separate us fromthe love of God.

(02:15):
That includes your thoughts, includes your doubts.
Even your own mind can't builda wall high enough to keep his
love out.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Okay, well, let's talk about the hard one, right,
sin?
Honey?
We've all done things that weregret, things that we wish we
could undo.
And maybe you're thinking okay, yeah, but you guys don't know
what I've done, and you're right, I don't.
But God does, and get this.
He still sent Jesus to die foryou, to rescue you.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Romans 5a reminds us that while we were still sinners
, christ died for us, not afterwe cleaned up, not once we had
it all together, but while wewere still in the mess of our
sin.
And his love hasn't stopped, not now, not ever.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Isn't that cool.
So what does that mean for youright now, in this moment?
Well, it means you can rest.
You don't have to perform to beloved by God.
You don't have to be perfect tobe loved by God.
Jesus sees it all, the good, the bad, the broken, but he
loves you anyway.
Hear that Jesus does nottolerate you.
He loves you.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
And that love?
Well, it doesn't fade whenyou're weak.
It doesn't walk away when youstumble.
Remember Romans 8 says nothing, absolutely nothing can separate
you from it.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
No matter how you feel, Jesus still loves you.
No matter what you think, Jesusstill loves you.
No matter what you've done,Jesus still loves you, hey.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
And those aren't just nice words, they're promises, a
blood-bought, cross-sealed,tomb-empty kind of promises.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
You are loved.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Well, thank you for spending these minutes with us
today.
If this encouraged your heart, share it with someone else who
needs to hear it.
And never forget.
Forget.
His love is never out of reach.
So rest in that love that neverlets go.

Speaker 2 (04:09):

last few minutes.
