In this episode of the "Your Journey to Joy" podcast, I had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Jill Rosenthal, an award-winning Harvard and Stanford-educated physician and best-selling author who transitioned from a 35-year medical career to becoming a certified mindset coach. Dr. Jill shared her incredible journey of overcoming personal and professional challenges, including her battle with breast cancer, which ultimately led her to a new path of helping other women professionals manage stress, overwhelm, and burnout.

Dr. Jill's story is one of resilience and transformation. She recounted how she juggled multiple responsibilities, including caring for her parents from afar, supporting her husband with Alzheimer's, and raising a teenage daughter, all while dealing with her own health issues. Her diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer became a turning point, leading her to retire from her medical practice and focus on her own healing and growth.

Throughout our conversation, Dr. Jill emphasized the importance of setting boundaries, managing stress, and seeking support. She shared how she now helps other women, particularly those who have experienced cancer, to release fear, anxiety, and other negative emotions, ultimately improving their quality of life and longevity. Dr. Jill's approach is holistic, incorporating lifestyle changes such as adopting a whole food plant-based diet and focusing on emotional well-being.

We also discussed the significance of finding joy and thriving despite life's challenges. Dr. Jill's insights resonated deeply with me, as our stories share many similarities, including our backgrounds in healthcare and our personal journeys through adversity. Her upcoming book, "Thriving Beyond Cancer," aims to provide emotional healing and support for cancer survivors, addressing aspects often overlooked by traditional medical care.

Listeners can find Dr. Jill's free resources and learn more about her work through her website, DrJillRosenthal.com, and her upcoming book at ThrivingBeyondCancer.com. This episode is a testament to the power of resilience, the importance of self-care, and the possibility of finding joy and thriving even in the face of life's toughest challenges. I know you will enjoy this episode. Please listen  and please share
