🎉 Big news—I've changed the name of the podcast! In this quick episode, I'm sharing why I made this shift and what it means for you. While this space has always been about money, business, and self-development, I kept coming back to one core theme: money. The way we think about it, manage it, and use it to create the life we want.

This podcast is now fully focused on helping women shift their money mindset, build financial confidence, and create wealth on their own terms.

In this episode, you'll learn:

  • Why I decided to change the podcast name
  • The main focus moving forward (hint: all things money!
  • What's staying the same and what you can expect from future episodes

THANK YOU for being on this journey with me.   I’m so excited to continue growing and learning together. 💖

Erin Gray (00:00):
Do you want to create a system to stop avoiding your
money?
Maybe you're feeling guilt andshame when it comes to finances.
Welcome to your Money, yourRules.
I'm Erin, a former certifiedfinancial planner and CFO, and
yet I used to avoid my money andhad fear, no matter how much we
had.
I can't wait to teach you how Iovercame my money avoidance and

(00:20):
started consistently managingmy finances in a really simple
way.
It's time to get comfortablewith money.
Hey there, welcome back.
So you might've noticed that thename of the podcast has changed
from Generate a Life Well Livedto your Money, your Roles,
along with the podcast art, andtoday I just want to take a
couple of moments to share why Imade the shift and then what it

(00:43):
means for you moving forward.
You know, when I started thispodcast back in April of 2023, I
did it because I wanted to havea place where I could share my
voice, my opinions, my thoughts, and I wanted to be able to
invite people and guests onwhere they could share their
beliefs and show upauthentically, and I knew that I

(01:06):
wanted to talk about money andbusiness and self-development,
and over time, I kept comingback to really one core theme,
which was money, something thathas been near and dear to my
heart.
I have worked through so manydifferent money beliefs and
feelings around money and myentire relationship around money
, and you know the way that wethink about money, the way we

(01:30):
manage it and how it impactsevery part of our lives,
especially as womenentrepreneurs is really
important to me to spreading themessage, to helping more women
in the world have a nourishingand loving relationship with
money, because I truly believethat when we all have a loving
and nurturing relationship withmoney, we can truly, really

(01:54):
change the world.
And so I realized that I wantedthis podcast to be really
crystal clear in its purpose.
I wanted it to be the go-tospace for women who are ready to
shift their money mindset, tobuild financial confidence and
financial literacy, and to stopavoiding their money and feeling
shame and guilt when it comesto their money and really start

(02:16):
managing their money and havingit so that they could create
true wealth on their terms.
And so changing the name feltlike the next right move, and it
really reflects, I think, theheart of what I'm trying to
accomplish here on the podcastand, ultimately, with the world.

(02:38):
So what's staying the same Me,obviously, you know, having deep
, honest conversations aboutmoney, the strategies to help
you grow financially and then,of course, the encouragement and
support to help you feelempowered in your financial
journey.
You'll probably hear more soloepisodes of me on the podcast

(02:59):
and I will still sprinkle insome guests, because I do love
having that interview style, butit'll be a lot more teaching
and more personal experiencesthat I've had to help you along
your financial journey.
So if you have been here sincethe beginning, I just wanna say
thank you for being a part ofthis evolution and if you're new

(03:23):
, I wanna say welcome.
I can't wait to dive deeperinto all things money with you.
Okay, so that's all I've gotfor today, just a quick update.
I'll be back soon with moreepisodes.
I'll be having them on Mondayand Thursday, releasing them on
Monday and Thursdays now insteadof just Thursdays, and my
desire for you is that theseepisodes will help you shift
your mindset, grow your wealthand step fully into your

(03:46):
financial empowerment.
And until next time, did youlearn something today?
Do you know another femaleentrepreneur who might be
avoiding her money?
Will you send this episode overto her for me?
And, if you have it in you, please leave me a review for
this podcast.
It helps the show grow and Ilove hearing from you.
