October 14th is New Year forme. Why? It's Joyce birthday. If
you don't know that story, youshould hear it. It will blow your
mind. Welcome to the show.Tired of the hype about living a
dream? It's time for truth. This is the place for tools, power
and real talk so you cancreate the life you dream and deserve

(00:24):
your ultimate life. Subscribe, share, create. You have infinite
power. October 14th is themost precious day on the calendar
for me. Christmas is beautifuland I'm very devoted to Jesus and

(00:46):
Christianity and all that sortof thing, but October 14th is Joy's
birthday, and it marks thebirthday of the angel that's in my
life. There's nothing that Ican do without her. She is amazing.
She walks on water, she runsour contractors, she runs a publishing
company, and more importantly, she helped me more than anything

(01:07):
on my path to recovery. I'mnot going to tell the whole story
here, but if you want to readabout it, it's in a book. You know,
I've written like 21, 22books. This one's called Tightrope
of Depression. My Journey FromDarkness to Spare and Death to Light,
Love and Life. And it talksabout how and when she came into
my life in 2007. The miracle. It was absolutely a divine miracle.

(01:28):
Things happened that can't beexplained by normal stuff and all
that sort of, you know, weirdkind of things. And it was beautiful
and it was fantastic, andshe's precious. So that's why October
14th is New Year's to me. Buthere's what we're going to do. It's
also because it's my new year. It's the day that I give accountability.

(01:50):
So we just had an episode withJoy on it that celebrated that birthday.
But this is. This episode is,you know, double down. We're doubling
down here. Victory lap. Anddouble down is what I called this
one. And here's the reason.Last year. And it's last year for
me, because this is after the14th, right? Last year for me, I

(02:12):
declared that I was going toreach 300 million people. Now, let's
talk about that, becausepeople always ask, how are you going
to flip and reach 300 million? And then the next question right
behind that is, how are yougoing to know you reach 300 million?
Well, let's get clear. Fouryears ago, I decided, and I don't
remember all the circumstancesof that decision, I decided I need

(02:34):
to reach 10 million peoplewith a message. And the message is
WIPOs, worth, identity, possibility, ownership and sovereignty.
WIPOs and it forms theframework of our ability to create
anything we want. Like, youknow, I talk about this all the time,

(02:57):
your ultimate life. And I say,you know, you can have your ultimate
life. And we have guests onhere that talk about how they create
their own lives. And I use thewords purpose, prosperity and joy
as the bedrock of achieving anultimate life. So if you or I, we
live every day with a purposethat guides our lives. And we have

(03:17):
prosperity in cash, inrelationships, in love, in health
and joy, which is way deeperthan happiness. If we have purpose,
prosperity and joy, then forme, that's the ultimate life. And
when I ask people what theirsis, they'll use words like freedom,
which is a good word. They'lluse words like money, or nobody has

(03:39):
any call on my time or allthose kinds of things. And there's
nothing wrong with any ofthat. Everybody's going to define
the ultimate life the way theydo. But here's what I notice. The
guests that I have on here, without exception, all have a yearning
to serve. Why do we care?Well, it's part of our nature. When

(04:01):
we have something like weovercome a problem or a challenge
as we do, that there arises inus the yearning to serve, to help
others, to help others avoid,to minimize the suffering, to minimize
the pain, to get throughthings quicker than we did. And that
is the basis of the coachingprofession. It is the basis of all

(04:22):
kinds of books and programsthat are created. Yeah, people want
to get paid, and they shouldfor their knowledge, their experience,
their hard knocks that save mefalling on my face a few times, I'll
pay for that time compressionwhere I can learn something in a
year that took someone else 10or 20 years to learn. I do I not

(04:45):
will pay. I do pay for that.We all do. So anyway, my full statement
is triple M message methodmastery. The message is you create
the life you want. And even ifyour life sucks right now, or you
think you do think it does, you created that. And you can get

(05:06):
as mad at me as you want andslam your fist in denial, but you
did. And let's just go rightto the core of it. If I think my
life sucks, I think my lifesucks. There's no objective externality
that says my life sucks. It ismy opinion and choice to live in
the energy of a sucky life. Ican think my life's the most beautiful

(05:29):
thing in the world and notchange a thing. That's a choice I
make. So that's a real obviousway we create our lives. And there's
way more Than that. Because wenow know from absolute laboratory
scientific evidence that whenwe think or when we yearn, it puts
out energy into the energeticfield. Right. An easy way to say

(05:52):
that or see that is if you'rein a room and your back is to the
door and someone walks in andthey're angry, you can feel that
even if they don't make anynoise, there's something about the
energy. And when you, whenyou're with someone, even if you're
not seeing their face. And Isay that because people say, well,
micro expressions and blah, blah, blah, and they make all kinds

(06:14):
of excuses trying to get itout of the realm of things we don't
understand yet. Because peopleare afraid of that. Well, stuff we
don't understand communicates. We don't understand how quantum entanglement
works, which means particlesthat are separated really far affect
each other even greater thanthe speed of light. So everything's

(06:36):
connected literally. Likeliterally. So what does this have
to do with my message? Well, the message is this, if you knew,
if you knew the core of yoursoul that you could create any life
you want, you'd actdifferently. Because most of the
time we act like we don't havethat control, like we're at the mercy

(06:57):
of other things. If it rains,I'm at the mercy of the sky to get
wet. Yeah. And I can create agood thing or a bad thing out of
that. I love getting wet. I'mgoing to dance to sing in the rain.
Like the old musical Singingin the Rain. I could do that. Or
I can be mad that it's goingto ruin my suede shoes or whatever.
So my choice about how toexperience the world. I don't control

(07:20):
the weather. I don't controlthe temperature of the, you know,
that it's hot in Phoenix orcold in Edmonton. I don't control
that. But I can control how Iexperience that. And that is the
fundamental substance of ourlife, is how we experience things.
Okay. All right, so the reasonI'm saying victory lap and double
down is this. Four years ago,I decided I needed to reach 10 million

(07:45):
people. Message methodmastery. The message is you create
Your Life and WIPOs. YourWorth is infinite. Your identity
is divine. Your possibilitiesare without limit. Your ownership
is supreme. You own your lifeand you are the sovereign decision
maker in your life. If you ownthose truths, you're already way
ahead in this process ofcreating life, purpose, prosperity,

(08:09):
which includes cash and joy.So I decided I wanted to reach 10
million people with thatmessage. But the second M is method.
So it's one thing for me oranybody to sit here and tell you
you can create the life youwant. That's like the law of attraction.
People saying all you got todo is sit and think and crap shows
up on the door. And we allknow it doesn't. Okay, so there's

(08:32):
a method message, methodmastery. And the method in Law of
Attraction kind of things isthe action part taking aligned action,
action that's aligned withyour intention. And I'm not going
to talk about Law ofattraction here, but it's the same
principle. So the method isthe processes that I've developed.

(08:53):
I mean, I've written 22 books.I have given the method for creating
your life and for achievinganything you want. In all the coaching
that I do with every client,it's the same thing as is in the
books. It's just that we allknow it's way easier when we have
someone with us, like someonegoing to the gym with us or whatever,

(09:15):
to keep our goals, to keep ourcommitments, to keep accountable,
that sort of thing. It's justa lot easier when we have that. So
one of the fun functions ofcoaching is accountability. There's
a lot more to it than that. And the, the explosion of AI on the
coaching scene is, you know, powerful evidence of that. AI writes

(09:36):
so well and so powerfully, itcan evoke an emotional response.
You can ask AI a question, itcan come back with an empowering
answer and touch youemotionally. It certainly has me.
So coaching is going to changea lot over the years. And I've started
a third episode a week onThursday. So normally we were Tuesday

(09:56):
and Friday. We started now inSeptember. Today as I'm recording
this, September 25th is thefirst Thursday episode and I'm going
to put a coaches only episodeout every Thursday and it's going
to have two guests each week.So there'll be three of us on there.
Except today's was a solointroducing that, but the coaches

(10:18):
only every Thursday is goingto be discussing AI and how it affects
coaching. Whether or not theparticular guests I have are using
it, how they're using it, andmost importantly, at least for me,
is how is the coachingindustry going to change and how
do we as coaches need torespond to that? Because my thesis
is By Christmas of 26, 95% ofcoaches won't be making a living.

(10:40):
And I define living is 100kUS, but you know, it's arbitrary.
But most won't be making thatand won't be able to. And what are
we going to do about that. Andso the book I have Coaching and the
Rise of AI will be out veryquickly and in the next couple of
weeks, by the time you seethis, maybe it's already published.
But it's not just talkingabout what's happening. Oh, dear,

(11:00):
the tsunami is coming. Butit's talking about what do we do
about it? What does the newcoach have to look like to. To transcend
AI? To be above, to be able touse it as a tool, but be above that.
All right. Anyway, message andmethod is the products, services,
music, everything that I'vecreated over the last 18 years to

(11:22):
help you take control of yourlife and create purpose, prosperity
and joy, build your business, create cash, you know, be happy,
deeply joyful. That's allavailable to you. But you have to
do the work. It's like goingto the gym and looking at videos
and expecting to be able tocompete in the Olympics. You can't
do that. You have to do thework. Well, anything's like that.

(11:44):
So message, method, and thenmastery is the outcome of continued
application. So I decided I'mgoing to reach, four years ago, 10
million people with that, withthat process. And I thought, how
am I going to do that? Well,I'd already started the podcast and
I started going on otherpeople's shows. And now over the
years, four years, I thinkI've been on more than 700 shows

(12:07):
of others and I have lots morethat are coming. And I say yes, always,
if the show or the content isaligned in order to encourage people.
I'm in the peopleencouragement business. I'm in the
slap you and wake you upbusiness. I'm in the remind you your
divine business. I'm in thebusiness of total transformation
to where we step into, and Iknow that's cliche, but where we

(12:30):
act, where we own ownershipand sovereignty, our right to have
purpose, prosperity and joy.Because you have that right, nobody
can keep you from it. Nobody'sgoing to do it for you either, because
nobody's coming. So thisstarts the next year and I haven't
set a new number yet. 300million was last year. And we've

(12:51):
got to add. People ask all thetime how, how I measure that and
I'll get to that in a minute. But anyway, four years ago it was
10. And at the end of thatyear, nearly in September, I was
on a show with some folks andthe, the. There were two guys that
were hosting that. And at theend of that, it was an hour roughly
at the end of that time, oneof the hosts. Both the hosts were

(13:13):
emotional, like, visiblyemotional. And one of them said to
me, you need a bigger number. You need a bigger number. Kind of
like that, right? And I said, why? And he said, well, I've been
on the here with you for anhour and you've changed my life.
And I'm going to talk to atleast a thousand people this week,
so you need a bigger number. So that got me thinking. And as that

(13:33):
year closed in October of thatyear, I thought, okay, and I set
a goal of 50 million for thenext year. So. And I got on a lot,
lots of social media, and Idid tons of lives called road to
50 million. And as it turnedand I also went on other people's

(13:54):
shows, and I was on LA Talkradio, which is a weekly live show
on Tuesday afternoons, 4pmPacific. You ought to look it up.
Latalkradio.com it's alsocalled your ultimate life. And it
turned out that year, the bestwe could tell in adding up audiences
and so forth, we reached about75 million. So I was really excited.

(14:15):
And it was principally on theback of what was one show that I
was on that the host told mehad gone quasi viral and had had
40 million views. Well, thatwas a big chunk of my 50, right?
So we added up other thingsthe best we could, and we figured
we got to about 70 or 75. Sothen the year after that, I set the

(14:37):
goal at 250 million, and wecontinued, you know, efforts to do
that. And I don't think I putevery single effort I could, and
I don't think we made thatthat year. I think we did a little
better than the year before, maybe 125. And so then the next year,
which is this year that justfinished, we moved it up a little

(14:59):
to 300 million. So that's theanswer of how we got to the number,
how we measure that. I neverexpected to get 50 or 100 or 300
million emails to say, youknow, you changed my life. But here's
what we do. We measure podcastreach. We measure the reaches of
all the other shows that I'vebeen on. And as I mentioned, there's
hundreds. I've written 20books. We look at book sales and

(15:21):
their ripple effect. We lookat all the places I speak. Sometimes
I speak five or six or sevenor eight times a month at different
summits and those kinds ofthings to encourage, to lift, to
bless. I was just onsomebody's show the other day, and
it was about health, bothphysical and mental and emotional

(15:41):
Health, and there's anotherone, and they have quite a large
podcast. So if you add allthose up as best we can, then we
make an estimate of what we'vereached. It is far more important
for me to put the number outthere and then say to myself and
act, I'm doing everything Ican. And that comes in front of me

(16:02):
to reach that many people, totell them I love them, to tell them
they're worthwhile, to tellyou you're worthwhile, to tell you
your worth is infinite andyour identity is divine because you
came from the same God I did,and your possibility is without limit
and ownership and sovereignty. And here's the truth. You and I live
far below our potential. Now,there's probably a time you can remember

(16:26):
where you gave everything youhad for a particular project and
it either worked or it didn'twork, but you felt satisfied in that
you did everything you could. Most of the time, we don't live there.
We don't Live All In. And Ican tell you that Living all in is
a joyful, glorious, flippingplace to live. Even when crap hits

(16:53):
the fan, even when stuffdoesn't work, isn't. Even when you
get bashed down. Choosing allin as your life force, as your lifestyle,
as your stance in the world isso much fun. Because then you never
have to ask, what if? What ifI tried harder? What if I'd started

(17:18):
earlier? So for me, the 300million for the year we just finished
wasn't a vanity metric. Itwasn't something for me to run around
saying, I'm reaching 300million people, blah, blah, blah.
It was an aspirational goal.It was a vow. So today's my victory
lap. We did it. I don't knowwhat the exact number is. I'll never

(17:41):
know the exact number. And I'mnot done with my best estimate, which
I'll do over the next month orso, and I'll figure out about how
we did. And I'm doubling downnow. Doubling down for me doesn't
mean I'm going to move it to600 million. I'm not. Here's the

(18:02):
vow right now. Instead of justjacking the number up and up and
up, I'm going to do the best Ican to figure out what it was. But
here is my commitment thisyear. This is about nurturing and
growth. So I am all in thisyear, every day, first breath to
last, about nurturing andgrowth. Every person that I can reach

(18:26):
with a message of your owndivinity, your own capability, and
your own possibility. I'm hereto nurture you, to encourage you
to love you. Like, look you inthe eyes and say, I love you. I don't
need your permission. I don'tcare where you are or what you've
been or what you've done or,you know, any of that stuff. Love
is not dependent on that. That's one of the things I've had

(18:49):
to learn because all my life Iwas taught violently that love was
conditional and love was onlythis, that, and the other, only if
you did this or, you know, behaved a certain way. And that's
not true. I mean, we see allover the world, to our great pain,
people hate others withoutknowing they hate something they

(19:10):
said or the idea of them ortheir ethnicity or their race or
their religion or theirpolitics or whatever. And then this
vitriolic hatred spews out allover the place, sometimes in rhetoric
and posts and sometimes introlling and sometimes in violence
and hate and pain and death. That is monstrous. Well, if we can

(19:31):
hate to that degree withoutknowing someone, we can certainly
love. And love is gonna win.End of story. So I love you, and
there's not a thing you can doabout it. And my love is bigger than
any hate or negativity orapathy or anything you can bring
to the party. There's nothingyou can do to make me not love you.

(19:53):
I get to choose that. Isn'tthat fun? What I've noticed is taking
that stance in my ptac, mypersonal document, One of the statements
is, I am love pouring overyour soul like warm sunshine, creating
miracles in the moment. I livein a land of miracles. I literally,

(20:15):
and I mean this honestly, Iexperience them every day. Unexpected,
unexplainable things that turnto my benefit, turn to my opportunity,
turn to growth. And it's notbecause I'm special, because I'm
not. If you know the historyand you read the book Tightrope of

(20:36):
Depression, which I referredto earlier, and the miracle of joy
coming into my life in 2007,and the miracle of ending the addictions
that I had and starting on apath of complete life overhaul. If
you've read that, then youknow that I'm nobody special. I'm
simply somebody who wouldn'tquit, who made the choice to change,

(21:00):
who turned around when lifewas black and dark and suicide had
already been attempted andsaid, I'm going forward no matter
what. I'm done with thatstory. I'm done with that excuse.
I'm done with that shambles ofa life. Now. There's lots of Stuff
to clean up. If you've had adifficulty, maybe it's bankruptcy

(21:21):
and so there's some creditproblems for some period of time,
or maybe you've had a divorceor an illness or whatever. And so
there's stuff to clean up, youknow. The leftovers of my failings
still echo through my life. Ihave 10 beautiful children that I
love dearly and deeply. Andsome of them don't, like, don't,
won't talk to me, still soestranged, I guess would be the word.

(21:43):
But I love them furiously. AndI'm holding nothing except open arms
and willingness. And I've doneall that I can in my life to fix
it and be better and do good. But I have to recognize, as we all
do, that it takes two tocreate a relationship. It takes two
to tango, so to speak. But I'mopen and ready, and I do and will

(22:06):
do whatever I need to do tocreate love, forgiveness and power.
My invitation for you is to dothe same. So when I say the year
is to double down the namethat I gave it, what did I say? Victory
lap. And double down thevictory lap is simple. I did everything
I could to reach 300 million.I went on every show I could go on

(22:30):
that made sense. I spoke everyplace. I did all these episodes,
and I wrote more books and Idid more coaching, and I did everything
that I knew how to do tocreate that outcome. And we'll see
where the numbers land later. So that's the victory lap and the
doubling down. Like I said,I'm not doubling the number again.

(22:53):
I'm leaving it where it is. So300 million is going to be the same.
But this year is aboutnurturing and growth. Nurturing and
growth. So the message thatwas Last year is WIPOs, your worth
infinite, your identity, achild of God. However you want to

(23:14):
frame that possibility. WIPOs,right. Your possibility is limitless
because you have divine DNA.You can create whatever you want.
You are born to overcomechallenges and to be a creator. Ownership
is the O. And that's kind offun because we love blaming others.

(23:35):
I can't, because then we pointoutside of us, the weather, the government,
spouse, kids, illness, whatever, and it's all bullshit.
You can create what you wantno matter what happens. And I'm letting
that sink in on purpose. And Por S, W, I, P, O, S is sovereignty.
You're the king, you're thequeen. You're in charge. You're the

(23:55):
emperor, the empress. Like youown this. And if you want to abdicate
it and give it away. You can.And then you can blame it on whatever
you want and it's still yours. You can't give away ownership of
your life. You can let otherpeople make decisions. But you decided
that. So that message was whatwe were doing last year. And this

(24:21):
year the message hasn'tchanged. But now I'm focused more
on the method. So let'spretend you own the idea that you
can create whatever you want.Let's pretend. I'm not saying it's.
Maybe you do, so I won't saypretend. Let's go down that road.
Let's go down the road offierce life ownership. Because at

(24:41):
one point or another, most ofus live in the land of suck. And
the land of suck ischaracterized by a victim mindset.
It's characterized by anaddiction to mediocrity. We just
settle, right? And so when youthink about a victim mindset, it's
not my fault. And look whatthe world or somebody did to me.

(25:04):
An addiction to mediocrity. Acompanion phrase is learned helplessness,
where we. Where we choose toallow ourselves to learn. I'm helpless.
I can't fix it. It's beyond mywhatever. None of those are true.
The message was that here isanother place to live. It's beautiful.

(25:26):
Not a swamp, but a beautifulmeadow. And that meadow has a name,
too, and that's called fiercelife ownership. It's called radical
excellence, and it's called apassion to serve. Now, I know right
now that you've been at a timewhere you felt radically excellent,

(25:50):
where you felt a passion toserve, and where you fiercely owned
your own destiny in life.Well, you can have that every day.
I know because I do. I knowbecause I help people get there.
But you don't fall up thatmountain, right? We have to climb
mountains so we don't fall upthere. And step one, this was interesting

(26:14):
because this was askedyesterday, okay, when you trying
to help people do this, what'sstep one? Step one is always the
same. Step one is an absolutebulletproof commitment that you're
climbing this mountain, you'remaking this change in your life.
No matter what. You're doingit because you can, because you said
so. Because you own your life, you're going to do this. That bulletproof

(26:38):
commitment is always andalways will be the bedrock. Because
without that, we get wishywashy, we get discouraged, we give
up, we quit. And then we endup treating it like a New Year's
resolution to go to the gym bythe second week. We can't even Remember
where the gym was? So abulletproof commitment means, no
matter what, I am creating myown life. Now, this is one of the

(27:02):
things that is so importantabout coaching. Coaching is the art
and science of helping peoplekeep their commitments. It is the
art and science of helpingthem see a much bigger vision. Because
if you or I are in the visionof ice and I've been there, I suck,
I'm not good enough, I'llnever make it. Whatever it is for

(27:23):
you, then I can't seeopportunities, I've got blinders
on and possibilities are allaround me. And I'm so focused on
my brokenness that I can't seethem. So owning the truth of being
able to create anything youwant is key. And so the message that
we were talking about in allthe shows and in all the books and

(27:47):
in all the podcast episodeswas the message, you can create what
you want. You gotta do thework. No one's coming to do it for
you, and no one can keep youfrom creating your dream. This year
is dedicated to nurturing. Soit is starting. The tone of the messages

(28:09):
and the podcast and the showsis going to change, not because the
message is different, but thefocus is different. So the message
is you can create anything youwant. You can have whatever you want
in life, purpose, prosperityand joy. That includes wealth. Yes,
you can have that. Now,accepting that message is one thing.

(28:34):
Acting and doing the thingsnecessary so that it's true for you
is another thing. You knowthat because if, if you know, there
was a time in my life when Iwas nearly 100 pounds overweight.
In my 30s, I just gotten fat, desk job and not exercising. I had
some young kids and I justmade a vow. I'm not going to be the

(28:58):
fat dad that can't play withhis kids. So I went on a hardcore
crusade to lose weight. I didit all the hard way. I went back
to martial arts dojo that wasnear the house and went regularly
and worked out, sometimestwice a day, etc. Etc. And over a
year, I lost all of thatweight. More. I lost 90 pounds. I

(29:23):
needed to lose 80, I lost 90.And I needed to gain a little bit
back. But at the same time, because I was doing a lot of martial
arts, I gained a lot of muscletoo. And so I became extremely well,
you know, I was in shape, really good cardiovascular stuff.
I could run many miles andblah, blah, blah, blah, blah. So
that was an example ofcreating something the hard way.

(29:45):
And the my help was going tothe dojo and working out a lot And
I'm competitive and I lovedoing that. So that's an example
of creating your life. I'm notspecial. You can have that too. I've
made that transition. It was atime in my life when I had financial
disasters and declaredbankruptcy. I had to recover from

(30:07):
that. There was a time in mylife seven years ago when my illness,
I got an illness and died, flatlined in the ICU. You know, I
was in a coma for 17 days,lost 35 pounds, couldn't walk. And
you had to learn all thatagain. So I flatlined there. Flatlined
financially, flatlined with myhealth, being heavy in my 30s. That

(30:27):
was now 30 something years agobecause I'll be 70 in December. But
I know what it takes to dothat. And so the nurturing aspect
is okay, you've heard themessage. What are the actions now?
There's two kinds of thingshere. One is maybe three. One is

(30:49):
the steps. What are the stepsto do anything? Well, finding out
the steps to make somethinghappen isn't very hard. Information's
free. You can find out how todo anything on the Internet. With
the rise of AI, expertise isalso free and democratized. Right?

(31:11):
Information, when theInternet, came free and available.
Expertise is now free andavailable. So that isn't the issue.
The issue isn't the steps. Theissue is creating the will, the accountability
framework, getting thecoaching, overcoming the stories
of defeat and failure in yourhead. That's the ticket to growth.

(31:36):
If I'm fat and I say I need tolose weight, I know I can go to the
gym regularly or even do bodyweight, floor X on the floor. And
I know if I do that for awhile, months, I can lose the weight.
In my own case, I did that. SoI know that can happen. But that's
completely different thanhaving both the courage and the perseverance

(31:59):
to take those actions everyday. So nurturing, which is what
I'm focused on this year withthe 300 million, is about messages
of encouragement. I oftenthink of coaching as the people encouragement
business because I have afriend, former client, who says often

(32:20):
people need encouragement morethan they need advice. And I love
that saying. His name's Ericand I love him for saying it. I don't
know if he originated that ornot, but I love it. It's fabulous.
Because we do needencouragement more than we need advice.
We do. Right? We need thatbecause it's easy to find out what

(32:43):
to do and way harder to havethe courage to do it. So that's this
nurturing is what this doubledown Is about. All right. Now, here's
what I want you to do. Stepone. I want you to take some time
every single day to loveyourself more. Now you might think,

(33:07):
what the frick does that mean?Well, I'll give you some suggestions.
And the first and easiest todo, it might be emotionally difficult,
is to go in front of themirror like you're in front of a
mirror every day when you getdressed, right? Comb your hair, shave,
brush teeth, put on makeup, whatever it is. I challenge you to

(33:29):
take two minutes and lookyourself in the eyes and say, I love
you. I love you. And if youneed to think of reasons, I love
you for breathing. I love youfor still being in the game. I love
you for doing the best youcan. I love you for fixing that difficult
situation. I love you forproviding well for those that depend

(33:53):
on you. And you can have allkinds of reasons that are true, that
are not bs. So your first stepis to start to love yourself more.
Loving yourself is a form ofworship of God. God created us however
you view the divine to be. Godcreated us with love, with intention,

(34:18):
on purpose, even with all ofour flaws, character flaws, emotional
flaws. You know, I wearhearing aids. I've got mild, pretty
severe actually, hearing loss.I've got vision that's terrible.
I wear some special cool kindof contacts because I have keratoconus.
And so my eyes and ears don'twork very well. And that's terrible

(34:40):
for recording artists, right? And so, and, and I have, you know,
I use a cane now because I'vegot problems in my back from the
years of martial arts. I. Idon't care. I love myself. I love
myself. I love myself. I lovemyself. Not in an arrogant way. I'm
not talking about indulgence, self indulgence, or arrogance. I'm

(35:02):
talking about respecting andhonoring the vehicle that God has
given me or you to walkthrough this life with. And if there's
something you don't like aboutit, like me when I was overweight,
then fix it. But you can loveyourself today exactly as you are
and love yourself enough totake care of your body. Love yourself
enough to get good at what youdo. Love yourself enough to be kind

(35:26):
to yourself. Often peoplespeak to themselves in internal dialogue
or even out loud in terriblelanguage ways. They wouldn't allow
anyone, you know, to speak toone of their friends. Why do we do
that? So the first piece ofnurturing, but I'm asking you to
consider is loving yourself.Take the time. Put your own mask

(35:49):
on first. I hear this Bullshitall the time about I have too many
kids, I have too much to do, Idon't have time for self care. And
all you're doing is killingyourself on purpose, willingly. It's
stupid. It's stupid and it'swrong. And I'll tell you why it's
stupid. Because then what youoffer to your spouse or, or your

(36:09):
kids or your friends or yourbusiness partners is half assed.
I'm going to show up as amartyr half baked. Because I'm not
taking time to take care ofme. So I'm not all here, I'm not
focused, I'm not taken careof, here I am. Bleh. Best I got.
Baloney, nonsense. Take timeto create yourself. Take care of

(36:33):
yourself. If you want to knowhow to do that, here's a book, Living
with Purpose and Power. It'sabout how to create yourself, fill
your own cup and be the verybest version of yourself every day.
Why? Because you can. Becauseyou're worth it. Your worth is infinite.
Your identity is divine. Butif I show up half baked every day

(36:54):
not liking myself, maybe evenhating myself, not caring for myself,
not getting enough sleep, ortaking care of my spirit or my body,
I'm not in my best shape and Ican't even perform. Why would we
do that? So this nurturing isthat. Okay, so there's another thing

(37:15):
that I wanted to talk to youabout and that is this. It's consistency.
Okay? And when you talk abouta social media strategy, sometimes
you hear the phraseconsistency trumps content. And what
that means is showing upregularly, all the time is sometimes
more important than havingjust outrageously killer content

(37:39):
every time. Because people getused to you. They depend, they come
to depend on you. They knowyour podcasts are going to be here
or you're going to have adaily video about whatever. Okay?
So consistency in severalthings. Consistency, first of all,
in loving yourself, like dothat love yourself thing every day
and maybe two or three times aday. I love myself. I love myself.

(38:02):
I love myself, even if itmakes you laugh. In that book, Living
with Purpose and Power, Iteach you how to create. I teach
you how to create a dailycreation process that will blow your
mind and put you on an Olympiclevel, prepared level every single
day if you'll do it. Okay, another piece of. So consistency

(38:23):
is not only self care, but ifyou've got a business that you're
trying to grow, like I'm acoach, I help people write books.
I help people create their owntruth documents, personal truth documents,
and I do Lots of other thingshelp businesses grow and create big
cash. I help people increasetheir top line and their bottom line
and decrease their fixedoverhead and costs. And I can do

(38:47):
that for any business. Isn'tthat amazing? But it takes the work.
Just like it takes the worktaking care of your body or getting
stronger. Growing yourbusiness is not a mystery, it's not
a secret. The processes ofgrowth, personal growth, business
growth, are well understood.Get rid of the barriers and add things

(39:11):
that are leverageable, thatcreate growth, identifying those
and putting processes in placeto make them happen. None of that's
a mystery. And people don't doit anyway. So nurturing includes
your body, it includes yourspirit, it includes your attitude
and intention, and it includesincludes your business. If you're

(39:34):
not making money, the one youwant, like I define a living as 100,000
bucks, us less than that, youknow, you got to have two incomes
or you better not be living inan expensive place, you know, California
or New York or, you know, someplace like that, because it's
difficult. And whether it's 90or 110 or something, you know, we

(39:57):
can argue about that, but Ijust use that as a threshold. If
you're not making that kind ofmoney, let's talk. Because you're
worth it. You can. And so partof the nurturing is helping people
realize their true potential. And what I mean by that is the flipping
cash in your bank account. It's easy to say cute things like

(40:19):
step in your greatness orrealize your true potential. And
if it doesn't turn into cash,it's like, so what? You're still
fussed and fretting. So thenurturing includes personal care,
loving yourself. It includesshowing up in every situation as
your best self. It includesgrowing your business, creating cash,

(40:41):
creating service, adding goodto the world, all of those things
that you yearn to do. That'swhat this year is about. Now, I'm
going to issue you aninvitation here. If you're not where
you want to be, get a hold ofme. There's no excuse unless you
don't want to do the work. There's a thing on the screen right

(41:02):
here. Kellenfluecigermedia.comKellenfluker media.com Go there.
It'll show you the books thatI've written and how to get to the
podcast. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's also a contact form. So let's
talk. If you don't have themoney you want, there's no reason
except you don't want to dothe work. If you don't love yourself,
there's no reason except youdon't want to do the work. If your

(41:24):
relationships suck, there's noreason to stay there unless you don't
want to do the work.Literally, anything you want can
be yours for the taking. Solast year was about a number reaching
300 million people with amessage. This year is about nurturing
the method. What are thethings that are well known that you

(41:46):
need to do or I need to do toget to where we say we want and how
do we get them done? How do weintegrate that in our lives? How
do we change our attitudes andbeliefs about what's possible? Because
the truth is, anything'spossible. But it took me a long time
to learn that because I had alot of stories about worthiness,

(42:07):
about it being out of reach, about it being too late, and about
a bunch of other stuff. Andit's not true. Because I'm there
and I can help you get there. And where is there? There is living
your ultimate Never hold backand you'll never ask why. Open your

(42:29):
heart in this time around, right here, right now, your opportunity
for massive growth is right infront of you. Every episode gives
you practical tips andpractices that will change everything.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
