Today is a very, very specialday on your virtual assistant
coach.
Today is our very first guest onthe show, and I truly could not
think of anyone better to bringon first than my very own
(00:49):
daughter, little Miss, myfive-year-old.
She is number one the reasonthat I became a virtual
assistant in the first place.
None of this would exist if shedidn't exist and number two,
because she's the biggest fan ofthe podcast.
She always wants to listen tothe episodes.
She asks me to replay themagain.
She thinks it is so fun, and soI thought that it would be
(01:12):
incredibly fun for y'all to getto hear from her about what it's
like to have her mommy workingas a virtual assistant, so I'm
going to let her introduceherself and tell you a little
bit about her, and then we'lldive in with some questions.
I hope you guys enjoy it.
Alright, can you tell me howold you are?
Little Miss (01:36):
Five and thirty
quarters.
Laura Nicole (01:39):
And how long?
How much of your life has mommybeen a virtual assistant?
Do you know?
Little Miss (01:45):
At least five years
?
Yeah, like almost your yourlife.
Has mommy been a virtualassistant?
Do you know?
At least five years.
Laura Nicole (01:47):
Yeah, like almost
your whole life, right, yeah,
yes, what is your favorite color?
Purple and pink, and what's oneof your favorite things to do?
Little Miss (02:01):
Probably going to
the pool when it's summertime.
Laura Nicole (02:04):
Yeah, like right
now, it's 111 degrees outside,
huh.
Little Miss (02:08):
And sometimes do it
in the winter.
Laura Nicole (02:12):
That's really fun.
Yeah, we like to get good useout of our pool, don't we?
What else do you want to tellthem?
What kind of sports do you likedoing?
Little Miss (02:19):
Gymnastics and swim
.
Laura Nicole (02:22):
Yeah, you're
really into those right now,
aren't you Okay?
So do you know what mommy doesfor work?
Little Miss (02:28):
Helps people learn
how to be a virtual assistant.
Laura Nicole (02:32):
Yeah, I do.
I coach women, and do you knowwhat it means that mommy is also
a virtual assistant Like that?
I actually work with clients.
Do you have any idea what thatmeans?
I do.
Little Miss (02:41):
Uh no.
Laura Nicole (02:45):
Where does mommy
work from Home?
I do, I do work from home, andwhat's your favorite part about
mommy working from home?
Little Miss (02:54):
I sometimes get to
be in the videos and watch her
do it.
It's really fun.
Laura Nicole (02:59):
It's really fun to
watch mommy do her calls and
stuff.
Little Miss (03:02):
Uh-huh, and
sometimes when she's at her
office I make a little secrethideout and then just kind of
sit there.
Once I even ate my dinner inthere.
Laura Nicole (03:15):
You did.
You bought a whole hideoutunder my desk while I was
working, huh.
And then you ate dinner underthere and then you wouldn't let
me take it down for like twowhole weeks I had a hideout
under my desk.
What do you not like aboutmommy working?
Little Miss (03:29):
I don't really know
, I just like all of it.
Laura Nicole (03:32):
You do like all of
it.
Do you think that mommy's jobis fun or boring?
Little Miss (03:39):
Probably pretty
boring.
Why do you think it's boring?
Because you just kind of gottawork and you don't really get to
do anything.
Laura Nicole (03:48):
fun oh you've
helped me do fun things for my
work before.
Do you remember when you'vehelped me like package up gifts
to send out to people and stuff?
Little Miss (03:57):
No.
Laura Nicole (03:57):
Oh, you don't
remember that.
You were like maybe three yearsold.
You were a good helper.
You helped me put everything inthe envelopes and put the
stamps on them.
Little Miss (04:06):
Well, I don't.
I just say that it's not toofun.
Laura Nicole (04:11):
What kinds of
things do we get to do and have
as a family because mommy isable to work and make money for
our family?
Little Miss (04:19):
Money, a house, a
car, water food?
Laura Nicole (04:24):
Did we just go on
a fun trip?
Little Miss (04:26):
Yeah, so we played.
So we paid for our flight withmy mom's money that she made for
us.
Laura Nicole (04:32):
So it's important,
right?
Because mommy can help supportour family by working as a
virtual assistant.
Little Miss (04:38):
Yes, that is
correct.
Laura Nicole (04:42):
I just need y'all
to know that she just very
assertively grabbed themicrophone and put it to her
mouth to say that, yes, that iscorrect, okay, so what is
something that we get to dotogether, because I work from
home?
Little Miss (04:56):
Go in the pool.
Laura Nicole (04:58):
Before dinner yeah
, it's so much fun.
It's so much fun.
How does it make you feel onthe days when you wake up in the
morning and you're either sickyor you're just like really,
really tired and feel like youneed a break and you don't want
to go to school?
How does it make you feel thatyou're able to stay home and
come crawl in mommy's bed andwatch a show and snuggle in the
(05:19):
morning instead of having to go?
Little Miss (05:21):
Very happy.
Laura Nicole (05:23):
It makes you happy
.
Why?
Little Miss (05:25):
Because I don't
have to do all the stuff and I
just get to relax.
Yeah, and is it nice that, eventhough mommy has to, work, that
when you're homesick, I canstay and snuggle with you in bed
instead that is really very, very, very nice.
Laura Nicole (05:41):
Okay, I want to
talk to you about my business.
Do you know what my business is?
Little Miss (05:47):
Virtual assistants.
Laura Nicole (05:49):
What does my
business do?
Little Miss (05:53):
You've already
asked me this question.
Laura Nicole (05:55):
Okay, do you know
what my business is called no.
The Superstar.
Little Miss (06:02):
Academy.
Laura Nicole (06:03):
Oh, close the
Superstar Assistant Academy.
Yeah, do you know what color mybusiness is Pink and Purple and
whose favorite colors are those?
Little Miss (06:16):
Mine.
Laura Nicole (06:17):
Huh, is that a
coincidence that my business
colors are your favorite colors?
Little Miss (06:35):
No, I don't even
know what coincidence means.
Laura Nicole (06:39):
How many mommies
do you think that I have helped
become virtual?
Little Miss (06:43):
assistants, like I
did, 200.
200?
It's more than that.
Did you know that?
Yes, okay, then 200 and threeand three thousand 203 000.
Laura Nicole (06:53):
Not that many, but
mommy has helped almost 1 000
other mommies become virtualassistants mine other mommies
become virtual assistants, mindblown.
Our mind blowed everybody.
We were mind blown by thatstatistic.
If you met a mommy right, Ifyou met someone else's mommy who
(07:21):
was really sad because she hadno work all day and she really
missed spending time with herkids, what would you say to her?
Little Miss (07:26):
um, maybe just to
check online and see if she
wants to sign up and pew.
She can get as much time as shewants with her family you mean
if she became a virtualassistant?
If she just kind of lookedonline and if I told her to and
ordered it and just kind ofbought it and just got into the
(07:50):
academy, you know, just kind ofworked it out so that way she
could spend as much time as shewant with her family.
Laura Nicole (07:58):
And still be able
to make money to help support
her family right.
Little Miss (08:02):
Right.
Laura Nicole (08:04):
So do you think
that what mommy does for work is
important?
Little Miss (08:09):
Yes, why?
Because it helps you help othermommies and it also lets you
make money without having toleave your family.
But it doesn't really matter, because your family leads you
every single day.
Laura Nicole (08:27):
What do you mean?
Like daddy goes to work and yougo to school, yes, right, but
we're able to have control ofour days, right?
Like if you are sick, you canstay home, yes, or if we want to
go do something special or havefamily come visit, then mommy
can just change her dayswhenever she needs to, right?
Yes, okay, what is somethingthat you think mommy is really
(08:52):
good at?
Little Miss (08:54):
Helping other
mommies.
Laura Nicole (08:56):
Why do you think
I'm good at it?
Because you've been practicing?
Oh, I've been practicing, right.
When we practice somethingreally hard, we get better at it
.
Yes, is there anything about?
Little Miss (09:09):
The superpower of
practicing Like practice power.
Laura Nicole (09:14):
Oh, practice power
.
I like that.
Do you think that practicepower is a good thing for
mommies who are becoming virtualassistants to have?
Yes, how is it going to helpthem?
Little Miss (09:27):
because if you
practice makes perfect, but not
actual perfect, actually it doesmake it perfect, it makes it
perfect, so that way the othermommies can just kind of work
through it.
Laura Nicole (09:40):
They can work
through it and make it work and
become a virtual assistant.
Yes, what is your superpower?
Little Miss (09:50):
Delicate earth
power, delicate fire power,
delicate ice power and delicatewind power.
Laura Nicole (09:55):
So you have a lot
of powers, is what I'm
understanding.
Little Miss (09:59):
But my most
favorite power is delicate earth
power.
Laura Nicole (10:03):
What exactly does
delicate earth power?
Little Miss (10:06):
do.
It is all of the powers.
Laura Nicole (10:11):
Okay, so are you
going to use those powers when
you get older, or what do youthink you're going to do those
powers when you get older, orwhat do you think you're?
Little Miss (10:19):
going to do and be
when you get older?
I have no clue.
A scientist.
Laura Nicole (10:23):
You're going to be
a scientist.
Little Miss (10:25):
I also could be a
princess that can turn into
anything.
Clueteen mermaids, like all ofthe magical things, and Clueteen
unicorn.
Laura Nicole (10:40):
Everybody
understands that right.
Okay, so we're either going tobe a scientist basing everything
in fact, or we're going to be amagical princess who can turn
into anything, includingunicorns.
Did I get that right?
Little Miss (10:52):
no, it's also
mermaids and unicorns, but
everybody better understand thatokay got it.
Laura Nicole (10:59):
I think everyone
understands that.
Now, do you think you're gonnabe a mommy when you get big?
Little Miss (11:05):
yes, because I'm
gonna have 15 children 15
children.
Laura Nicole (11:11):
Yes, holy
guacamole.
Do you know how many kids thatis?
Yes, 15.
How in the world are you goingto support 15 kids when you're a
mommy?
Little Miss (11:32):
I'll be a virtual
assistant saying I can also use
my powers and create lots ofmemes with my powers, so that
way I can work it out perfectlynice and smooth.
Laura Nicole (11:38):
Okay, so mommy has
been a virtual assistant right
since you were a teeny, tinylittle baby, so I know that you
have no memory of when mommyused to go to work.
But do you remember what mommyused to do for work before I
became a virtual assistant?
Work at a restaurant.
Used to do for work before Ibecame a virtual assistant Work
(11:58):
at a restaurant.
You actually got to go eatlunch at the restaurant that I
used to work at when we were onour trip, didn't you?
Little Miss (12:02):
Yes.
Laura Nicole (12:03):
Was it fun to see?
Yes, was it funny to imaginemommy being there making people
sandwiches?
Yes, why?
Little Miss (12:13):
Because I just
don't really think restaurants
really match your personality.
Laura Nicole (12:20):
That's interesting
.
Did you know that when you werefirst born, mommy was actually
a teacher?
I was a college professor.
Little Miss (12:27):
No.
Laura Nicole (12:28):
You've never heard
that.
Little Miss (12:29):
No.
Laura Nicole (12:30):
That's pretty
crazy that you've never heard
that before.
You just thought I worked atrestaurants.
Yeah, yeah, mommy was actuallya teacher for about four years
before you were born.
Mine blowed.
So think back to when you werelike two years old, three years
old.
Little Miss (12:52):
When I was three
years old I was kind of a
handful.
Laura Nicole (13:00):
Okay, so think
back to when you were like two
and three years old and you usedto take naps all day and you
were home all day with me.
Who was the person who alwaysgot to put you down for your
naps?
Little Miss (13:10):
You, mommy.
Laura Nicole (13:12):
Me.
We got to do nap time andbedtime together every day, huh.
Little Miss (13:16):
Yes.
Laura Nicole (13:18):
That's pretty
special that we got to be
together to do those things, don't you think?
Yeah, and we still do themtogether?
Yeah, we still do.
We've done them together yourwhole life.
But that doesn't get to happenfor a lot of mommies.
Do you know how special that is, how it's very special that
mommy was able to do my workfrom home and I could stop
whenever and come do nap timewith you.
(13:39):
Did it make you happy thatmommy gets to do?
your nap times and bed timeswith you.
Yes, very happy.
All right, girlfriend, I am sofreaking excited that you were
able to come on the podcast.
Do you think it's going to becool to listen to this in the
car on the way to school when itcomes out?
(13:59):
Yes, very cool.
It's gonna be your voice on thein the car too, not just
mommy's yeah, that's gonna be sofun all right, well, we are
getting ready to go.
We're gonna go hop in the poolfor a little afternoon swim, but
before we do that, is thereanything that you want to say to
all of the mommies who arelistening to this podcast?

Yes, thank you for
