Hello, Resilient Listeners! This week’s episode is a little different—I’ve lost my voice and can’t record, but I didn’t want to leave you without some inspiration.
For this week’s How To Tell Your Story exercise, I invite you to explore a powerful writing prompt: write about one room from your life. Maybe it’s the bedroom where you grew up, the basement that gave you chills, or even a garden that felt like home. Set a timer for ten minutes and describe this space in rich detail—what happened there, and why does it still matter? Let your memories guide you, and use sensory details to bring your story to life.
And don’t forget—if you have a story of resilience, I’d love for you to be part of Woven with Light, Mended with Gold: True Stories of Resilience. Submit your true personal stories by June 30, 2025 at the link on my website: www.jennifer-chambers.com.
I’ll be back next week—until then, keep writing, keep sharing, and remember—your voice matters. ❤️
