(00:38):
Oh man, feeling good today, yeah?
That toothache?
Well, it went away in that past realitynow.
Oh yeah, oh yeah, good, good, good news.
(00:59):
Hey, you know the stuff I talk about,it actually works.
Yeah, yeah, yep, yep.
I know, you're just like, Tom, it's kindof out there.
It's definitely out there, and that is whatwe're going to talk about today.
The barrier that really keeps us from engagingthis.
(01:20):
Now, it does take some effort, and itdoes take some, I don't necessarily like the
word, and I don't know that it's thebest descriptive word, but it does take some
practice.
And so, when we want to live inthat best reality now, we are exercising some
(01:40):
divine muscles that we haven't necessarily used.
We are exercising belief outside our comfort system.
We are really exercising our imagination.
We are really exercising the muscle that operatesin contradiction to the default mode network.
(02:03):
That network that just takes our experiences andeverything that we've had before and makes a
conclusion based on that.
We're exercising the muscle of belief in afuture.
And so, today, what we're going to talkabout, and I don't know if this is
an accurate description or not, it's kind ofwhat I came up, and there's some different
(02:28):
terminology that I've used around it, but it'sthe therefore.
And it is basically the belief system thatwe've developed growing up in.
And whatever that belief system is for you,for me, it was like around spirituality and
stuff like that is when I became ateenager, I became a quote unquote modern day
(02:51):
Christian, which I would say that I'm notanymore that.
But in the early years, it was more,we didn't go to church.
We were the cartoons on Sunday family.
Dad took us out for donuts and wewrestled in the morning.
And then Dad worked on projects in theafternoon on Sunday and Saturday.
(03:13):
And so, my belief system really, in thoseearly years, revolved around superstition, such as those
things that, you know, kids talk about, stepon a crack, break your mother's back, you
know, break a mirror, seven years bad luck, that kind of thing.
And so, I am this weird mix ofbelief systems.
(03:35):
And as I'm coming in to my adultyears, yes, the 60s, my adult years, too
funny.
No, I've been an adult for a longtime.
But maturity and growth continues as it doesfor all of us seeking meaning and purpose.
And so, I'm realizing that I have avery definite set of beliefs that are translated
(04:00):
through those different experiences, through those different teachings, whether intentional or not intentional, that I have
adopted as truth.
And so, I'm looking at that and I'malways, one of the things about me is
that I'm looking for authenticity and to beauthentic as possible all the time.
(04:23):
So, I'm always trying, searching, manifesting that authenticTom.
But part of that authentic Tom is thatdesire for truth and I'm willing to change
any belief for truth.
And so, that is a lot of whathas been going on.
And so, those statements in my life, andI use this phrase because it's kind of
(04:48):
a joking phrase, but I say, I'm tryingto think of a good example and I'm
wavering, but the gist of it is thatwater is not solid, therefore, nobody can walk
(05:10):
on it.
And those therefore statements that come from ourcore belief and you're just like, well, it's
true, scientifically proven that we can't walk onwater, but there is historical evidence through Jesus
that somebody did walk on water.
(05:30):
And so, those therefore statements, they come inour lives around, let's just say some things
like that I've recently went through with mytooth.
It's once the tooth gets inflamed, then it'sacting up.
It's like, oh, you got a cavity andyou got an infection, so therefore, you either
(05:52):
need a root canal or you need thetooth extracted because based on my belief system,
there's only two options.
And so, reality can only fall into twoprobable outcomes because I have a therefore or
I have this firm construction belief system.
(06:14):
And you're like, well, Tom, basically everybody hasthat.
Well, that is where it comes in whenyou add one more thing, belief in miracles
or that you can change reality.
Our reality is fluid and we can changethat through the divine giftings that we have.
(06:36):
And so, one of the things I hadaddressed before I could get there is develop
some different core beliefs.
And one of those was that reality isfluid and that it can change.
And one of my definitions I was talkingto Adrian about this other day, and I
may do an entire podcast on this, butyou know what a miracle is?
(06:59):
A miracle is when you remember that realityshifted.
I believe that reality shifts all the time.
I believe the miracle is when we rememberthat we asked for it and we remember
like my tooth when I was fighting forthat new reality, literally fighting.
(07:22):
And it's funny because you use the wordfight, but really the fighting entails keeping peace,
using the imagination, having faith, not letting thedefault mode network take over.
And so, what's really intriguing when I thoughtabout this, I'm one person and I have
all these unique experiences and I've developed allthis unique belief system that there are so
(07:51):
many of us out there and we allhave that to a certain degree.
Now, the scary thing and the common denominatoris that we watch TV and we watch
news and we all go to the samepublic school system and we're not taught about
divine tools and the quantum realm, the waythe divine, the quantum, the kingdom of heaven
(08:14):
works.
And these principles are touted as woo-wooand they're just like pie in the sky
type of things, but the truth is isthat they do work.
And you can keep your therefore statement andyou can keep your therefore life.
I'm going to live the wherefore life, whereforeI see this as the outcome that I
(08:40):
want, therefore I get that one.
You're living in the therefore that can't happenor therefore these type of things always happen
to me, therefore I'm unlucky, therefore this isnormal, therefore things always break, therefore we can't
have nice things, so we don't have nicethings.
(09:02):
And so, in this process of living thisbest reality now and really we fight against
like the default mode network, we fight againsta lot of things and part of that
is our learned experience and those therefore statements,it's like we have a belief, therefore something
(09:25):
can't happen.
And so, what's really important in the seasonof waking up these divine muscles, these divine
principles, is assessing things.
And one of the things that has really, really helped me and it was when I
was really, I was in those peaceful statesand you could call it a meditation state,
(09:50):
I honestly, meditation is too formal, I justreally have a peaceful state where I exist
in the kingdom of heaven realm and Ilisten carefully for answers and I look for
clues and I look for strategies that showup because when I'm in that peaceful quiet
(10:11):
state, things often do show up and thingsoften do manifest in that state and it's
a really important state to get those clues.
Oh my gosh, I have a huge sidetrackhere.
I've been waiting for some peptides I orderedand I keep hearing in the background what
(10:36):
I think is the mail truck and Ithink for, I don't know, for gosh, it's
maybe Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday, I'm not surethat we've had any mail and I'm not
sure I heard the mail truck.
So, as I'm here and I hear thedogs barking, I'm like, oh my gosh, is
(10:56):
my package there?
So, total sidetrack during the podcast and itis like causing Tom is like, okay, Tom,
focus in here because this is a reallyimportant thing that we begin to address some
of these belief systems and at least inmy life, everything's up to fair game because
(11:21):
it has to cut the mustard and Iknow for a long time in my life,
I really, I had a really profound experiencewhen I first met Jesus and I have
to say it was powerful, it was emotional,it was very personal and immediately that was
(11:46):
translated by those around me that I trustedand I don't know that they weren't trustworthy
but they knew what they knew that translatedinto going to church and to, you know,
reading the Bible and doing your devotions andkind of fell into instead of a very
(12:11):
experiential relationship with Jesus, which how it verystarted out to into a relationship through scriptures
and reading that was very controlled in thatI can manipulate it and control it and,
you know, I would read things in theBible like we're going to do even greater
(12:37):
things than Jesus and I was like, ohmy heart just welled up and I knew
that that was true and so I woulddo all the things that Christians say, it's
like you got to have your devotions, youknow, the really holy people have them in
the mornings, you know, and then if youhave them before six, then you're super holy,
(12:59):
you know, if you have them before nine, you're so so holy, if you have it
in the evenings, oh my gosh, I'm notsure what's going on, you may not even
be a Christian and so I'm totally jokingbut there is this whole lifestyle that is
built around Christianity and that if you don'tsee miracles, which in modern Christianity, we hardly
(13:20):
see any for the amount of Christians thereare, there are no viable miracles, it is
crazy and so this season of my life,I've become very disillusioned, not with Jesus, because
he is very real to me, I havevery real experience with him, I know he's
(13:45):
very genuine, the whole structure that was builtaround him that he didn't necessarily endorse or
call for leads us to a whole differentplace and so I think Jesus' words are
very true and I think he desires usto do greater things than he because he
(14:05):
loves people and he wants more good andmore love in the world, so he wants
us out there doing those things and partof that and Jesus alluded to it in
places, the kingdom of heaven is within youand then it says, be transformed through the
renewing of your mind, it's like getting ridof some of those old thoughts and those
(14:29):
things that hold you up, now one ofthe things I wanted to talk about before
I got sidetracked is I started listening tonear-death experiences, NDEs, and they are absolutely
intriguing, the ones where people have a glimpseof heaven, the ones where people have a
glimpse of hell, the ones that have someof both and have some other kind of
(14:54):
imagery that's in there, but one of thethings that is very obvious that when you
listen to them, their experience is very translatedor filtered through their belief system and that
people who were raised in the church andare familiar with terminology of sin and shortcoming
(15:18):
and bear this and their interaction with thenear-death experience very much fits into that
language that they sang the sinless God andthe beauty of heaven and the one thing
that's true through all the experiences is thatGod is awesome, God is loving, but is
(15:44):
what's really interesting the people that didn't havethat kind of background, any kind of background,
because there's the opposite, people that have backgroundin very cultish areas had a very unique
experience filtered through their belief systems, but thepeople that were the most interesting to me
(16:05):
is those that didn't and their experience acrossthe board was that God was love and
that God loved us and that God desiredthe best for us and that life without
God was hell, it was the absence ofhis presence that God is so immense, so
(16:33):
fulfilling, so satisfying, so satiating that hell isto know that and not have it and
that those people that experienced hell, it wasa loneliness beyond loneliness and it gives me
(16:55):
some real insight in to when we talkabout the divine and we kind of filter
out all the man-made stuff there isthat God really does want us to have
a life of meaning and purpose and thereis God, whatever you want to call him,
(17:17):
really is relational, really cares about people, reallywants to see the best for people and
so that may be one of those liketherefore things that you have that is like
God is angry and he's a punishing God,you just need to get on to some
(17:43):
near-death experience stories and listen to them,I think it will transform you listening to
the variety of people but realizing the goodnessthat is there and that is something that
was built and I don't know in yourlife through your parents example or how they
(18:06):
translated church or religion or how the faithwas practiced in the household but we just
need to realize because it has been ourexperience doesn't mean that it is truth, we
need to assess everything in our life sowe don't get trapped into these belief systems
(18:31):
that our brain wants to take because ittakes our experiences and it looks at new
things like a new future and it quicklyassesses them and says that can't be because
we have these inputs and these inputs don'tallow that possibility what do we want more
of we want that new best reality nowwe want that outcome and we want that
(18:57):
possibility but if you have those statements thatcause your brain to assess and go to
that default answer that is going to bethe answer and so it literally is going
to be impossible for you to entertain somethingelse you have to go back and you
(19:19):
have to begin to do this groundwork andyou may have to dig up some roots
you may have planted some very large treeslike truth beliefs that have roots or like
trees and you've watered them and you've hadsome coincidences that have solidified them i'm not
(19:43):
going to say that there weren't things thatreinforced them but were they just coincidences or
were the actual facts and truth that backedit up or were they just possibly some
programming that was out there that came inand backed it up or was there a
vision told because that's another thing we're allwatching that little black box we're all being
(20:09):
told a vision and i think for themost part that vision is tearing us away
from our divine gifts our divine senses ourdivine abilities these are things that you have
but they can be suppressed and one ofthe things if you can be convinced that
(20:30):
you don't have that in your belief systemthrough programming through being told a vision through
channeling watching channels receiving channels tom it's alittle borderline you better watch it i'm watching
(20:51):
reinforcing things you don'thave that you can't do that you can't
change reality reality isn't fluid yeah this lifeis tough and that's it you suffer then
(21:11):
you die life's a bitch not for thisguy life is awesome you know what i'm
saying you have to go and assess thosebeliefs are they are they the truth okay
they may be accurate for your life situationbecause you've done some things and you said
(21:40):
some words some spells and so as you'vesaid some spells you've had some self-fulfilling
prophecy come in and that has reinforced somefalse beliefs that are now deeply rooted truths
in your life that prevent you from accessingthe true divine tools and so you have
(22:06):
to begin to interrupt them and so itis why on this podcast i share a
lot of examples from my personal life becausei'm not just walking into this easily i'm
like you i'm walking into this and i'mi'm learning as i'm going you hear that
(22:28):
as you listen to me i'm not givingyou no falsehood or new bs i'm trying
to be as genuine as i can withmy examples and what i'm actually going through
and the things that are coming and thenew realities that are coming that are really
cool and the ones that i'm struggling withthe transition it is where that tool of
(22:55):
metacognition is so critical you have to beable to look at yourself as an unbiased
third person and realize wow you have somefunky beliefs i know growing up for me
and growing up in the household i didit was very different household than adrian my
wife grew up in in my household whenmy friends came over and we had lots
(23:20):
of good stuff my brother and i hadsnacks and you know we would often have
goodies that my mom make but when ourfriends would come over my mom would put
them away and we weren't supposed to tellour friends that we had them so we
didn't have to share and so i grewup with some odd belief systems around like
(23:40):
community and that there are separate communities andthen my friends even though i really loved
them and stuff we weren't allowed to sharewith them because we need to keep that
for ourselves it was for us and wewere special and we didn't want to share
and some other things like there wasn't enoughto go around and so some of my
(24:03):
belief in moving even into this marriage noteven into this new reality stuff but it
plays into this new reality that in whenyou're living this best reality and now you
have to believe there is so much abundancethere is enough abundance for everybody nobody has
(24:23):
to lack because one gets a lot allcan get a lot but i have this
statement that causes me to do a atherefore that i can't share there's there's not
going to be enough or we just don'tdo that you know because they're they're less
than or they're not us and there's somekind of difference and that plays into something
(24:49):
around loving your neighbor as yourself and ireally want to connect in this genuine way
with my brothers and sisters and and bringlife and meaning and purpose and share life
and meaning and purpose but through my experienceand my interactions in informative years and i
(25:12):
honestly believe all the years are fairly formativeand so something about those early years you
know we have beliefs and and things thatcome in and so that through the years
and continued action was reinforced again and againand so then there was a time that
(25:33):
we shared and we had these cousins overthey devoured everything we shared our video games
they broke our video games and yes whathappened after the fact instead of you know
my parents saying wow was that a goodtime didn't we have a blast and instead
of like maybe going out and getting morestuff and see what happens when we share
(25:58):
see how that belief got reinforced could havetotally turned that around i would rather share
and have a little less than hoard itto myself and have more and that's not
a sentiment i've always had i've had todevelop this truth into my life this is
(26:19):
not something i came by naturally adrian hascome by it very naturally because that was
part of her growing up and now herswas almost to the detriment and the other
side that you know poverty and the lackof responsibility was a virtue and so you
(26:40):
can go the other way but we don'tneed to talk about that it's more the
belief system that my black wife believed thatwhatever you had the people around you or
were sharing with and my belief was thati'm special i deserve this other people don't
and i've had to because authentic tom asi search and i look and in those
(27:05):
quiet times he loves people and he doeswant to share i don't want to be
taken advantage of but i do want toshare i want to share the bounty and
i that's why i do this podcast isbecause i want to share with you the
truth because i want you to have yourbest reality now i could keep this secret
(27:27):
get it all figured out and then releasesome really expensive program that if you buy
into this program for five thousand dollars iwill give you the secrets of this program
and i probably very well can do thisbecause i am getting it figured out and
i i think part of why i'm gettingit figured out is because i'm willing to
(27:50):
be multiple my my desire is not toget it figured out so i can have
all kinds of cool things my desire isto live a life of meaning and purpose
and part of that will be nice thingsand i want you to be alongside me
enjoying all those nice things and living thisamazing life of meaning and purpose and so
(28:15):
we really need to go after some ofthose foundational belief systems that cause our brain
to even bypass even to give us amoment and say no that's not what i
want it's just like bing bing bing thisis outcome based on the inputs that you've
(28:35):
had previously through your experiences so we haveto change those core beliefs and then when
we change those core beliefs we need newexperiences and so if you speaking a different
vocabulary you're not saying the same spells thatyou did the same incantations incantations it's crazy
(29:03):
it is in this last week it's crazythe things that i've heard people say and
seen them come true so fast and they'relike huh that's a coincidence yeah it's not
a coincidence it's because not everybody's ready tohear that and if you say something like
(29:25):
that you're just an ass and part ofbeing a person of meaning and purpose is
knowing when the words come out to theirmeaningful and effective just saying something isn't right
saying it in the appropriate time and placeis a gift and you can be a
(29:48):
gift giver you just have to pay attentionyou have to focus in on a life
of meaning and purpose you have to fallin love with people you have to develop
your divine compassion that is compassion that comesfrom the kingdom of heaven the quantum realm
(30:08):
for your fellow humans you're not in competitionwith them you're working towards a goal of
meaning and purpose and some people have hada rougher starting place and their core belief
system says other people are threatening they hurtme they take advantage of me takes a
(30:34):
little more to reach those people sometimes it'sharder and sometimes the season for that isn't
right away so as bringing this podcast toconclusion as i always do i found this
really simple principle and you've heard me doit time and time again if you just
(30:56):
ask yourself it's like hey self hey tomwhat are those core belief systems that lead
me to draw conclusions with therefore statements it'slike okay because this and this therefore that
can't be and if you ask yourself willyou please reveal this to me and the
(31:19):
things that are hindering me from living inthis best reality now the answers will pop
up you just have to be quiet andlisten i've never had it fail to work
and you're like tom it just doesn't workfor me i think it has to do
(31:46):
with just getting yourself quiet and not overthinkingit you really probably the hardest thing about
this process but once you get there you'llfind it pretty easy it's just kind of
clear your mind not empty it but clearit you know don't make presumptions don't kind
(32:07):
of just tell your default mode network totake a break and just when something comes
up don't overthink it just say how howis that because if you don't understand it
the next question is how is it andthat answer will begin to come to you
(32:28):
because remember we're living in this kingdom ofheaven this quantum realm this information realm that
your divine has access to so when youask a question it's like going into the
cloud and asking the question but this cloudthis quantum field this kingdom of heaven field
(32:49):
has all the information and so when thatanswer comes back it's not a coincidence because
all that information is out there you havejust never access your divine muscle to access
it whoa Tom whoa that's right that's awhoa statement should probably rewind and listen to
(33:12):
that because that is amazing truth my friendsi'm just gonna leave you with that hey
i love you i appreciate you thank youfor doing the hard work thank you for
making the world a better place and asalways go out there take some risks do
(33:33):
something good because why i got you ido i got you oh yeah powerful truths
in there today you will receive them takethem to heart and let them set you
free
