陈力以纪录片摄影师的身份参加了2006年8月开始的“百万人民倒扁”运动，也就是红衫军。两个多月的时间里，他深入运动总部，与总指挥施明德等人近距离接触。当年10月10日的“天下围攻”，陈力更偶然成为施明德的随身摄影。那一天，在一片红色的人海中，他说有一种“灵魂被贯穿的感觉”。
事实上，喜爱红色的陈力在那段时间却一直回避红色，他说自己是一个对政治理念保有热情，但对政治运动有些冷感的人。施明德说，世界不能这样到尽头。陈力觉得，红衫军决不会是台湾政治的尽头，而是转折点。(时长：12分48秒)
