我們今天的來賓是連加恩，為什麼會邀請他呢？可能很多人聽過他的名字，因為他在大學畢業之後，申請了第一屆的外交替代役，去到布吉納法索服務，他在當地三年行醫生活後來寫成一本書《愛呆西非連加恩》，後來被改編成公視電視劇《45度C天空下》，也讓很多人認識他。
不過其實他在結束外交替代役之後，其實還有很多精彩的人生旅程故事，他寫了一本新書，叫做《走人少的路》。這本書就詳述了他後來的很多故事，包含他回到榮總當家醫科醫師，但後來又去申請了防疫醫師的工作，再後來擔任衛生署駐非洲專員，再次外派非洲，在那邊從事醫療外交工作。
他在今天的訪談中跟我分享了很多故事，包含我問他為什麼每隔三到五年就會有一些工作的轉換？他跟我說每次轉換都可能會有些推力和拉力，推力可能是他覺得這個工作或環境讓他有點無聊，他想要嘗試一些新東西。不過這些年很大的轉變應該是他去哈佛念博士，他說在那邊他看到很多不同的東西，讓他開始接觸到商業的領域，開始認為商業的價值很重要，該怎麼樣透過商業的力量，可以幫助到更多的人。
他現在是宏碁智醫的董事長，主要是用AI工具來提供醫療上的服務，我很好奇他怎麼看待AI對於人類的影響。最後他也跟我分享了，20多年來這麼多工作和職涯轉換，他回頭看，怎麼看自己這條旅程呢？
