我們今天的來賓是蘇慧貞老師。為什麼會邀請他呢？
他是前成大校長，是台灣的公衛科學家，不過他原先在大學時候是念植物學系，是理學院的背景，所以我很好奇，他是如何走上學術研究、如何進入到行政管理，最後一步步成為成大創校80多年來第一位女校長。
說起來，節目做到現在，我也約訪過不只一位校長，有我的母校前任劉炯朗校長和現任校長高為元，也有哲學背景的華梵大學前校長林從一，每一位校長都很不一樣，也讓我感受到不同的領導和管理風格
今年蘇老師我們分享了很多她在成大任內作的一些事情，包含了他沒完成，令他有些遺憾的事情。我們聊起了她首創的大一新生必修課「踏溯台南」的起源，以及推動這個課程的辛苦和心血。
另外我也非常好奇，在這個大學管理或治理的過程中，他覺得自己擅長的地方是什麼？以及為什麼當初會去爭取遴選校長這件事。
最後，他是理學院、是自然科學背景，但是在節目中我可以不斷聽到他談起人文思考，人文教育、社會想法等等的重要性，我自然而然的好奇，他是從什麼時候開始有此轉變？在公共衛生體系，又是如何看待統計數據，以及數據背後所代表的個人這中間的取捨是什麼？
