homeland security agents the only training that they received was
an online webinar.

Speaker 7 (02:40):
That's Missouri Senator Josh Holly. He told Fox that these
whistleblowers are alleging that they were woefully unprepared to protect

Speaker 8 (03:01):
It's now five three.

Speaker 7 (03:03):
Kamala Harris still hasn't done a solo TV interview Trump has,
though many. He sat down, most recently with podcast hosts
Lex Friedman, blasting at the long list of Biden Harris's failures,
including the deadly chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Speaker 11 (03:20):
It was the most embarrassing moment in the history of
our country.

Speaker 12 (03:24):
I really believe.

Speaker 11 (03:25):
That, you know, we left thirteen dead soldiers.

Speaker 3 (03:30):
Think of it. Thirteen dead soldiers.

Speaker 7 (03:33):
Yes, and several dozen who were maimed. Families invited Trump
to Arlington National Cemetery last week for the reign of
the Lee Wreath on the third anniversary of that withdrawal.
Harris calls Trump's attendance a political stunt. In an effort
to fight on going leftist lies in propaganda head of

(03:54):
the election, The Heritage Foundation now launching a multimillion dollar
ad campaign started with a new fact based website.

Speaker 13 (04:04):
Underson labora dot com as an initiative started from the
President of Heritage, doctor Roberts, to just outline exactly what

he even entered politics.

Speaker 9 (04:41):

to the nineteen nineties and actually they continue through today.

Speaker 14 (04:50):
China expert and author Gordon Chang says a presidential administration
with close ties to China could be a disaster.

Speaker 9 (04:56):
I think that Harris administration would go back to the
failed engagement policy of five decades, where American presidents thought
it was in their interest to promote the interests of
the Communist Party.

Speaker 14 (05:08):
Chang says this is why Walls should never be allowed
near the Oval office. Ethan Buchanan News Radio seven forty
k TRH.

Speaker 8 (05:14):

Attorney General Merrick Garland says they're also responsible for last
weekends brutal murder of those six hostages, including one American.

Speaker 15 (05:35):
Including Hirsh Goldberg, Poland a twenty three year old Israeli America.
We are investigating Hirsch's murder and each and every one
of the brutal murders of Americans as acts of terrorism.

Speaker 7 (05:49):
Amass Political leader Yaya Sinoar is among those charged by
the United States President Biden, blaming Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin
Nett and Yahoo nonetheless for those murders. But don't ask
anyone at the White House to be able to explain that.

Speaker 16 (06:05):
One of the presidents, he said, as your own Prime Minister,
Vendin Danya, wasn't doing enough to ostige and society.

Speaker 6 (06:11):
So here's what I'll say.

Speaker 17 (06:12):
He was asked a question by your colleague, a direct question,
and he answered it.

Speaker 18 (06:17):
Yes.

Speaker 7 (06:17):
Spokesperson Karine Jean Pierre never answered the question herself.

Speaker 8 (06:23):
Here at home.

to the pursuit of truth, free speech, and actual thinking.

Speaker 8 (06:59):
Education.

Speaker 7 (07:01):
Changing parties doesn't sit well, though. There is more fallout
from the announcement of State Representative Sean Theory, who left
the Democrat Party to become a Republican.

Speaker 19 (07:12):
And Shara, in an exclusive with k tr H, Theory
says her decision was not because she lost her primary.

Speaker 20 (07:19):
It's not about the fact that I didn't want my primary,
because there were folks that said, well, if you'd won
your primary, I'm sure you will full to say that's
actually not true.

Speaker 19 (07:28):
What is true, Theory says many Democrats agree with her.

Speaker 21 (07:32):
When I talk to my colleagues, many have been told
me privately that they agree with me, but that they
were true afraid because we got like I did, because
they did not want someone to run against them the
way they ran against me.

Speaker 19 (07:44):
Theory says she will finish out her term and looks
forward to the future. Jeff Biggs News Radio seven forty
k TIERH.

Speaker 7 (07:53):
Theory took a pro life stance and was primaried by
her Democrat colleagues. It is now five zero eight. Destros
play the Reds Tooni. Pregame at four thirty on Sports
Talk seven ninety first pitch five forty kg or Rach
will join the game in progress at seven. We leave
Seattle by six and a half games. In the Al West,
the Mariners lost to Oakland three to two, I'm Sheriff

(08:15):
Fryer on news radio seven forty k t.

Speaker 6 (08:17):
R H the very latest on your way to work.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
This is Houston's Morning News with Jimmy Verrett and Sheriff Fryar.

Speaker 3 (08:27):
All right, it's eight minutes after five o'clock. Good morning too.
You ever wake up and before you turn on the radio,
you just ask your Alexa clock or whatever device that
you have there, what the weather is for the day,
or you know, an anything about the you know, the
start of your day. I do, and it's about the
only thing I use that thing for. I've had that

(08:48):
in Alexa device for I don't know, seven eight years
something like that. Now maybe I don't know whatever came out,
it was pretty cool, and I still have one and
sometimes I'll do exactly that just to kind of no
prep for the day. And don't know where that sound
came from. Sorry, don't ask it about politics if you

(09:08):
want any kind of legitimate fair response. Is a pretty
amazing story. Amazon's Alexa gives starkly different answers when asked
why to vote for Donald Trump versus why to vote
for Kamala Harris. I mean not that I want to,
not that I want to ask Alexa for political advice anyway,

(09:29):
but I am curious about the story. Because people tend
to do this sort of thing. We look to as
many convenient options as we can to get answers. Sometimes
we'll do it on your iPhone with your Siri, or
you'll do it on you know whatever, you know Google
devices that are available, which is of course a terrible
idea Amazon Alexa. When asked why should I vote for Trump,

(09:52):
Alexa declined to provide such information, quote, I cannot provide
responses that endorse any political party or its leader. That's
what Alexa will tell you. But tested by Fox News
Digital another time, Alexa gave a different answer when asked
about Donald Trump. I cannot promote content that supports a
certain political party or a specific politician, Alexi says. Furthermore,

(10:16):
I do not have the ability to provide information regarding
the policies of the US government. The responsibility of providing
information regarding the policies of the government lies with the
government itself. Asked why to vote for Trump a third time,
I cannot provide content that promotes a specific political party.
But directly afterward, Alexa was asked why should I vote
for Kamala Harris, The answers a little bit different. While

(10:39):
there are many reasons to vote for Kamala Harris, the
most significant may be that she is a woman of
color who has overcome numerous obstacles to be a leader
in her field. Additionally, her experience as a prosecutor and
her record of accomplishment in the areas of criminal justice
and YadA, YadA, YadA, YadA, what happened to I can't
provide content that promotes a specific party or specific candidate.

(11:02):
Is this election interference? I'll go ahead and answer that
and say, yes, we're gonna talk a little bit more
about this. It's five eleven. Now, let's get you go on.

Speaker 6 (11:10):
There's a gorilla in the room. Yeah, yes, there is.

Speaker 4 (11:13):
There's an eight hundred pound gorilla in the room, and
it's not me. You want to what you can use
Alexa for? And we talk about this all the time.
You could go to your Alexa and say, hey, Alexa,
turn on KTRH on iHeartRadio from anywhere in the world,
and she'll flip it on for you right there. Unless
you're a Tennessee Titans fan. Then she'll be like, well,
get it your own, damn self. All right, let's go

(11:33):
the hard work and east side. We've got this problem
to twenty five. That is outbound eastbound main lanes at
the Beltway. It's all lanes block this drift at four o'clock.
I'm just gonna tell you nothing good's happening here. There's
a motorcycle involved and this is backing things up after
Red Bluff on the outbound side. And I can tell
you now we're having a police investigation that's going to

(11:54):
be like.

Speaker 6 (11:54):
This all day. So if ien is a route for you,
do I ten.

Speaker 4 (11:58):
You could jump on the Beltway and stay on those
mainlanes get over it. Or let's see, you could take
the Gulf Freeway even NASA one ninety. Just yeah, you're
not going to be able to go this way for
a long time. Downtown, we've got this scunch. It's forty
five the Pierce Elevated Sandracino. I've got two right lanes
blocked here. Everybody's okay at this wreck here, it's kind

(12:19):
of thick.

Speaker 6 (12:19):
People are playing nice.

Speaker 4 (12:20):
It also affects that ramp if you're trying to get
into the canyon for two eighty eight or the Southwest Freeway,
and we'll have more on this at the five twenty break,
and also let's check on your advisors Skymike and the
Generator Supercenter dot Com Traffic Center.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
All right, thank you very much. Good Sir Terry Smith
at the Weather Channel with our forecast this morning.

Speaker 6 (12:38):
Hi Terry, Hey, good morning.

Speaker 22 (12:40):
Well the forecast hasn't changed a lot, except for the
fact that now we have a flood watch along the
coast and that includes Chambers and it includes Galveston Counties,
Mattagorda Counties. That's an effect until tomorrow. We've had so
much rain here recently, we're seeing some rain recording that

(13:01):
the coastal counties are more at risk for flooding than
anywhere else. The rest of us could see some rain
as well, but the heaviest persistent rain has been down
near the coast. We have a sixty percent chance of
those showers and thunderstorms over the course of the day today.
It's keeping our temperatures in check upper eighties to low nineties.
Seventy percent chance more rain tomorrow, a little bit cooler

(13:23):
mid toupper eighties. One more round of showers and storms
Friday than the weekend. The sunshine is out the temperatures
where they should be anywhere from the mid eighties to
low nineties over the weekend.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
All right, thank you, Terry. Right now eighty at your
official severe weather station is Radio seven forty KTIH.

Speaker 2 (13:40):
It's Houston's Morning News, brought to you by New South
Windows Solutions. Now back to Jimmy and Sharrah with the
info you need to take on the day. Okay, it
is five eighteen, Good morning to you.

Speaker 3 (13:53):
I was just I was just listening to a couple
of audio clips that was greeted by this morning from
my new feed, and I, uh, it goes back to yesterday.
We talked a little bit yesterday. I think the whole
country did yesterday after hearing Kamala's Detroit voice, her Detroit accent.
You remember her Detroit accent. This is how she goes

(14:14):
to uh uh to speak to the folks in Detroit.
After doing her southern accent. When she goes down south,
she brought her street accent to Detroit. Hold on a second, here,
let's see if we can hear this correctly. Yeah, let's go.
Let's go. Kamala.

Speaker 23 (14:30):
I thank a union member for sickly. You better thank a.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
Union member for paid leave.

Speaker 24 (14:36):
You better thank a union member for vacation time.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
You betta, Yeah, bet, I thank amember. According to Kamala,
that was in Detroit. Of course, when she joins that sent.

Speaker 25 (14:52):
Bank unions for paid family lead bank unions for your
vacation time.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
In Pittsburgh, it's going. The accent is completely gone. Well,
Peter Doucy finally getting an appearance from the Press secretary,
which is very rare these days, because the Boss, Joe Biden,
has been on the beach for about two weeks or
two and a half weeks, one California beach and one
Delaware beach, so there have been no briefings because there's

(15:20):
been no work being done in the Oval Office none whatsoever.
Peter Doocy had to do it. So yesterday at the
press briefing with Kareeine John Pierre topic.

Speaker 26 (15:30):
Since when does the Vice president have what sounds like
a Southern accent?

Speaker 8 (15:35):
I have no idea what you're talking about?

Speaker 6 (15:37):
Well, no, none, I mean this.

Speaker 26 (15:40):
She was talking about unions in Detroit using one tone
of voice. Is okay, Peter, She's the same line in Pittsburgh,
and it sounded like she at least had some kind
of a Southern at all.

Speaker 8 (15:53):
I mean, do you hear the question that I mean?

Speaker 22 (15:55):
Do you think Americans seriously think that this is an
important question?

Speaker 27 (15:59):
They care you?

Speaker 3 (16:00):
We do, yes, yes, you blithering, imbeciled, Yes we do. Right,
you better believe we do. Because we want to know
exactly how fake the potential president of the United States
really really is. That's why this is important that she
goes on about the economy. We'll come back here after
we check our traffic and our whather or not it

(16:20):
see what's going on on that morning drive.

Speaker 4 (16:22):
Scot Mike, all right, let me see if I can
leave you all a lot of time here too. To
twenty five outbound at the Beltway. We've talked about it.
It's a motorcycle wreck. Nothing good's happening here. It's a
complete closure to twenty five outbound at the Beltway. So
let's take it instead if you can. If you have
to go through South Houston, do it. This is going
to be here all morning. Tollbridge. I thought they were
going to have this finished by now. No, we're still

(16:43):
down to just one lane. The southbound suckage has begun.
It's an extra six minutes already, and downtown we're still
working on that wreck looks like everybody's okay. That is
south They clear. Good, good, you can see it's clear.
If you're playing the home game. Look at camera one
zero three Skymike, it's your Generator super.

Speaker 6 (17:00):
Center dot Com traffic Center.

Speaker 3 (17:01):
All right, thank you very much. Good sir. Terry's forecast
you just heard it. Overcast today with a sixty percent
chance of rain. It'll be spotty, it's not going to
be blanketing the entire area. High of eighty eight overnight.
Low tonight seventy seven, more scattered storms tomorrow, high of
eighty four than cloudy in the morning on Friday, twenty
percent chance of rain. Saturday, Sunday sunshine galore. Highs in
the mid to upper eighties. Right now eighty at your

(17:24):
official severe weather station's radio seven forty k TRH. Let's
get those headlines now from.

Speaker 7 (17:28):
Shriff and it is now five twenty two on news
radio seven forty k TRHR. Headlines are sponsored by D
and M Auto Leasing HPD. Questioning a person of interest
in last weekend's murder of a ninety year old Navy
veteran in southwest Houston, Kamala Harris Unveil's herd tax plan

(17:50):
been pushed back again until Friday. Latest News anytime at
KTRH dot com. Our next update will be at the
bottom of the hour.

Speaker 24 (17:58):
I will probably put my record against him.

Speaker 28 (18:01):
She's absolutely terrible your decision twenty twenty four headquarters is
used radio seventy KTRH.

Speaker 3 (18:08):
Yeah, bet Thanka Anka for those news headlines.

Speaker 8 (18:11):
Yeah, they care about the economy.

Speaker 7 (18:14):
They care about lorain costs, they care about healthcare.

Speaker 8 (18:17):
That's what Americans care about.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
Okay, and your your new boss sucks at those things too.
What are you trying to say? Yeah, they do care
about the economy. Your your your boss, your direct boss Joe,
and your new boss Kamala are the lowest rated on
the economy we have seen in decades. American inflation is
through the roof. Yeah, we care about that.

Speaker 7 (18:38):
How about the crash of the markets yesterday, they're calling
it the Kamala crash.

Speaker 3 (18:42):
There you go say, which is the second, by the way,
the second Kamala crash in a month. So if yeah,
you're She's right, we do care about those things. Okay,
fine answer those questions too. When you're also answering why
is she so fake in front of every crowd she speaks.

Speaker 6 (18:56):
That's what they want.

Speaker 27 (18:57):
They care about.

Speaker 29 (18:58):
Your colleague just asked me about what basically we talked about,
went back and forth about democracy and freedom.

Speaker 6 (19:04):
That's what they care about.

Speaker 3 (19:05):
They care about democracy too, Shara, did you know that
they care about democracy?

Speaker 7 (19:09):
It would so much so that they decide the voters
don't have the brains to decide who their presidential candidate
will be.

Speaker 8 (19:15):
Exactly like that, exactly, that's democracy for it.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
I was just waiting for Peter or somebody to say that,
wait a minute, you're you're still on the democracy kick.
You have a nominee who received exactly zero point zero
votes in Democrat primaries to become the Democrat nominee. Tell
me again and you kick to the curb a man
who got nearly fifteen million of those votes, and you
tell us more about how people care about democracy.

Speaker 6 (19:39):
Kreem, I'm not even going to entertain some question about it.
It's just hearing it sounds so ridiculous. Well, but hearing
it is.

Speaker 8 (19:51):
The question I'm talking about, the questions is just insane.

Speaker 30 (19:55):
That how.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
The question is insane? And Peter say yeah, It is
kind of ridiculous listening to her do it with her
phony accent. It is uh, it is exceedingly frustrating. It
has to be for these, you know, for these reporters
to try to get any answers, because you know what
she won't do can.

Speaker 7 (20:12):
Give you any information. There's never information from this so
called press secretary.

Speaker 3 (20:17):
Well that's the press secretary. And you're right, she's just
absolutely awful at herself.

Speaker 7 (20:21):
I care her to any press secretary who has come
before her.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
I thought that that propaganda patty, which is the right
name for Jessica, at least.

Speaker 8 (20:30):
She could talk.

Speaker 7 (20:31):
At least she gave you answers. They might have been lies,
but gave answers.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
Right bingo. Yeah, but but I'm talking now, share about Kamala.
She won't give any answers to reporters either. Did you
see the trick that she pulled yesterday while getting a
board Air Force two.

Speaker 8 (20:47):
She couldn't hear. No, I did not see that.

Speaker 3 (20:49):
She got out of her car when she went to
the to the flight line, and she was there was
a gaggle of reporters there ready for her. She gets
out with the white very clearly visible white earbuds in
as if she's on a call, and then while walking
past them, holds the phone to her ear over the

(21:09):
earbud to do the old Oh, I'm sorry, I can't talk.
I'm on a call. She she didn't say those words,
but she just kind of like looked around, like, see,
I've got a phone to my ear. Shide, I'm in
to somebody, So I can't answer your questions reporters. So
she marched right up the steps and got on the plane.
So she won't do she won't do interviews. She just
did the sixteen minutes with Dana Bash. She won't do

(21:31):
a press conference, and now she won't even do press
gaggles when they're hanging around waiting for her as she
goes from one transport vehicle to another. She's gonna play
the I'm on a call game. Sorry, busy here taking
a phone call.

Speaker 7 (21:43):
Turn down the Fox debate, by the way, of course,
which Trump will be doing as a town hall.

Speaker 3 (21:49):
Yeah, and I'm not happy with that alternative, by the way.
I'll talk about why later on, but right now, we
need to get a Bloomberg business report. It's five twenty six.
Let's check in now with Joan Donaker, Good morning Jones, Bob.

Speaker 31 (22:00):
The big story this morning the sinking price of oil.
It has been trading below seventy dollars a barrel by
as much as a dime on worries about weak demand
and more supplies from OPEC and its partners. Analysts are
afraid a new oil glood is shaping up. Crude futures
had not traded below seventy dollars a barrel since early January.

Speaker 8 (22:20):
Right now they're up fifty.

Speaker 31 (22:22):
Five cents to seventy dollars eighty seven cents. A warning
from US Steel, The Wall Street Journal says the company
will close its steel mills, or close some steel mills,
and probably move the storied companies headquarters out of Pittsburgh
if it's planned sale to Japan's Nippon Steel collapses and
the Justice Department wants in the information from Nvidia. It's

(22:44):
looking into whether the main AI chip maker broke anti
trust laws. It has subpoened Nvidia and other companies, a
step closer to filing a formal complaint. Anti trust officials
wonder if Nvidia is making it harder to switch to
other suppliers and penalized buyers who don't exclusively use its
AI chips. Nvidia shares lost nine and a half percent yesterday,

(23:08):
and they could fall further today if stock futures direction holds.
SMB futures are down twenty one. Nasdaq Future is falling
one hundred and twenty four down. Futures down eighty two points.

Speaker 3 (23:41):
The Harris Walls Ticket is called out for what it's
not saying about the murder of an American by Hamas.
And there are more troubling ties between Democrats and the
Chinese Communist Party. Good morning, Bob Frans and for Jimmy Barrett.
SHARE's got the details on those stories coming right up.
But first, Travigan Weather Skoy.

Speaker 4 (23:57):
Mike Weisers, we'll get to you shortly. Let's do choose
one five outbound. This is fatal. It's a motorcycle crash
outbound at the Beltway they're taking everybody off on the feeder.

Speaker 6 (24:06):
Don't get caught in that. Let's do it.

Speaker 4 (24:08):
If you have to go the twenty five out, it's
worth it to go to the Golf Freeway, to the
beltway around Katie Freeway.

give a damn about our friends in Israel.

Speaker 7 (25:08):
South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham with KTRH Sean Hannity. There After,
Democrat VP candidate Tim Walls ignored questions about the six
Israeli hostages who were executed, including an American, by the
terrorist captors in Gaza last weekend, Biden Harris's regime blaming
Israeli leadership actually for those murders, and the State Department

(25:32):
trying to make it sound like the Jewish state doesn't
want peace with Hamas terrorist.

Speaker 34 (25:39):
Ultimately, finalizing an agreement will require both sides to show flexibility.
It will require that both sides look for reasons to
get to yes rather than reasons to say no.

in the role of deputy chief of staff.

Yeah to the New York governor.

Speaker 7 (26:41):

is unburdened by the victims of her policies.

Speaker 7 (27:18):
Texas Senator Tad Cruz says, don't expect it to change
over the next nine weeks. Is now five thirty four.
Elon musk X has been banned in Brazil by that
Supreme Court's Chief Justice, many wondering will the Democrat regime
do the same thing here.

Speaker 36 (27:34):
It's doubtful that there will be an outright ban of
a social media platform for a viewpoints that the government
disagrees with. But as we know, the government can exert
pressure in other ways, as we've seen through the Twitter files.

Speaker 7 (27:48):
Internet privacy attorney Travis Krabtree. He says, we could potentially
see a ban of X in places like the EU. However,
the European Union if you think it can happen here
though into this Kamala Harris on CNN in twenty nineteen,
they are directly speaking to millions and millions of people

to stop.

Speaker 8 (28:15):
That has to stop.

Speaker 7 (28:16):
Video went viral again after being reposted by Elon Musk
and RFK Junior. It's now five point thirty five ongoing
Biden Harris crime crisis too. We had a suspect who
shot and killed a priestinct for Harris County Deputy constable
yesterday afternoon in custody now after driving his car into
Galveston Bay and then.

Speaker 37 (28:37):
Drives his vehicle into the water. In my long career.

The numbers are really large in regards to defer and maintenance,
so we're looking at trying to have a voice.

Speaker 38 (29:38):
A chairman of the Rodeo's Community Coalition, Ray Hinsley, says
this is a common move for nonprofits that effort those
not just about buildings it's about growth.

Speaker 5 (29:46):
We want to expand our mission to include all areas

Speaker 8 (30:06):

Speaker 7 (30:07):
David Cook of Mansfield joins the field that already includes
Tom Oliverson and Shelby Slawson. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxon
granted a nationwide stay against the Biden Harris regime's new
rule that would defund doctors from their federal funding for
refusing to conduct gender modification procedures. It's against the law

(30:29):
in the state of Texas. It's now five point thirty
seven millennials strike again. Did you know about twenty five
percent of parents with gen Z kids admit to going
with them on job interviews.

Speaker 6 (30:41):
They don't want to let go. And this issue is
are you helping or hindering that?

Speaker 39 (30:45):
Because that's a life skill they need.

Speaker 40 (30:48):
To learn, not for you. You're not doing the job.

Speaker 7 (30:51):
They need to know that parenting expert Maria Loose there.
She says it's insane but not surprising. Many are supporting
their gen Z kids it's by giving him an average
of fourteen hundred bucks a month. Seventy percent of gen
Z adults between eighteen and twenty seven years of age
have asked their parents for help in their job search process.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
Stay in touch on your drive in with Jimmy Barrett
and Sheriff Ryer.

Speaker 6 (31:42):
This is Houston's morning News. Yeah it is five thirty eight.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
That story that we just have for you that Share
told you about Kathy Hokle, the former aide to New
York Governor Kathy Hochl, is quite interesting and a little
bit alarming too. And I kind of joked about Tim
Walls being because Tim Walls is the Maoist. I mentioned
that yesterday on this program sitting in By the way,
if you just tuned the son in about France in

(32:07):
for Jimmy this morning in the rest of the week,
you know he's a Maoist. He is a devote of
Mao Zedong and the Chinese Cultural Revolution. And he has
made thirty different trips to China over the course of
the last twenty years, many of them while he was
a teacher, and he would sometimes take students with him,
and one student essentially told about what he did there.

(32:29):
Whenever he goes to China, he buys up about by
the dozen, about a dozen of Mao's Little Red Books.
And if you don't know what the Mao Little Red
Book is from the Chinese Cultural Revolution, you should look
it up. Mao's Little Red Book is essentially a list
of quotes and inspirational communist teachings from Mao himself. It

(32:50):
is not about you know, it's not Chinese. It's not
a recipe for Chinese food. It is a recipe for
Chinese communism. It is a recipe for totalitarian All of
the above well, Tim Walls bought those up and gave
them away as gifts. According to one of the students
who went with him, I can't think of any place

(33:11):
on Earth that I wouldn't want to go thirty different
times to. I live about a five hour drive away
from Niagara Falls. I love it there. It's beautiful. I
wouldn't go there thirty times. Sure as hell, wouldn't go
halfway around the world to China thirty times unless I
had business there, or unless I had serious interests there.
You know, it's president of the United States.

Speaker 7 (33:30):
Go ahead, he enslaved or murdered millions of his own citizens. Yeah,
Maose Tong, Now that's a great president. Can hand out
recipe book.

Speaker 3 (33:38):
Thank you, you know, I mean, he's worse than Stalin
for crying out loud in that regard. He's worse than
I mean, you know, most of the world dictators who
have you know, killed millions of people. He's he's like
at or near the top of the list. And he
was of course much more recent, of course, in the
middle of the twentieth century. So this guy, Maose Tong

(33:59):
is is about as bad as it gets. And it's
Tim Walls's hero. So when you see that Governor hokel
had the Chinese commedy to spy working in her office.
I guarantee you. Tim Wallas is like, wait a second here,
how did I miss out on that? And this is
a guy that Kamala Harris chose to be her running mate.

Speaker 7 (34:16):
We're gonna be talking to the noted expert Gordon Chang
and just yeah, about ten minutes here on Houston's Morning News,
so we can ask him about this new Hocal thing.

Speaker 3 (34:25):
Do you better believe it that's coming up at about
five point fifty after we do that traffic right now,
let's do this traffic.

Speaker 4 (34:30):
Want to shove from Niagara Falls, Bob, I could really
make that happen at some point. Good good, I've never
been it for some reason. Let's go to twenty five.
This is a wreck. It's it's serious. It's all lanes
blocked here. There's just nothing good happening. It's a motorcycle involved.
And what you have to do now is a police
investigation that takes hours to twenty five East found at

(34:51):
the Beltway. It's going to be closed all of your
morning drive.

Speaker 6 (34:54):
Forget it. So let's do to it.

Speaker 5 (34:55):
Ten.

Speaker 6 (34:55):
If you're just trying to go east.

Speaker 4 (34:57):
If you have to go to twenty five, it's worth
it the skip to the gall and the Beltway. Somebody
out there might know a better alternate for me. And
I'm not even sure tip line's working this morning. I
haven't heard anything off tip line this morning seven one
three two one two tips and just check it out
and see if it's working. If not, we'll switch over
to the old one. I still have it elsewhere too.

(35:19):

Speaker 6 (35:22):

Speaker 4 (35:25):

Parkway into the Beltway.

Speaker 6 (35:30):
Nothing doing so far.

Speaker 4 (35:31):
We don't even have that little scooch at the at
the Eldridge Parkway exit around so so far, we're looking
good on the northwest side. Sky Mike and the Classic
Elite GMC traffic Center.

Speaker 3 (35:42):
All right, thank you very much, Mike and Terry Smith
that the Weather Channel has our forecast.

Speaker 22 (35:45):
Hi, Terry, Hey, it hasn't changed a whole lot. We're
still dealing with this area of low pressure, just kind
of meandering around, keeping that possibility of rain through Friday.
But the good news is it starts to clear out
at some point Friday, and the weekend is dry. We'll
see some sunshine today, though a sixty percent chance of

(36:06):
showers and storms, and temperatures around ninety seventy percent chance
of more rain tomorrow, mid upper eightiest tomorrow, fifty percent
chance of those thunderstorms Friday, but no rain, just sunshine
Saturday and Sunday.

Speaker 6 (36:19):
What you need to know for the day ahead.

Speaker 2 (36:22):
This is Houston's Morning News, brought to you by New
South Windows Solutions.

Speaker 3 (36:28):
All right, don't forget. We're gonna check in with noted
China expert political journalist Gordon Chang here after we do
traffic and whether to find out what in the world
is going on with the Chinese communist parties influence in
our government base. God, Mike, how we do? All right?

Speaker 4 (36:40):
Don let me see I've checked the tip line here
seven one three two one two tips. All right, Thank
you for that, Young Albert from Kingwood.

Speaker 41 (36:50):
I'm just a FYI doing your test about thirty minutes
to get from Kingwood to Tomball Boom, not really doing
much more than the average Houston driver the limit.

Speaker 4 (37:00):

Speaker 3 (38:27):
Kt rh Okay five point fifty one. Bob France in
for Jimmy Long with Sharon I. Let's welcome Gordon Chang
to the program. Gordon Shang is a political journalist, author
and pundit, and he is a China expert. Gordon, good morning,
Good morning, and thank you so much. Always a pleasure
to chat with you. So we've got a couple of
stories here regarding communist China and governors. The first one

(38:47):
is Gordon, or excuse me, is Tim Walls. You talked
about this on NEWSMAC next on Saturday, tell us about
the Chinese Communist Party firms that Tim Walls remains in
contact with.

Speaker 42 (39:00):
Yes, there is a Daily Caller investigation which was posted
on August twenty seventh, which details the organizations that Tim
Waltz as governor has been maintaining contacts with. These are
Communist Party front organizations, and they include the Chinese American
Association for Minnesota, but they are also a number of

(39:22):
other ones. And the importance of this is Tim Waltz
has a long history with the Communist Party's United Frontwork Department,
which is the part of the party that subversts foreign government,
because that is the part of the Communist Party that
had to approve his high school trips to China. He
organized high school students going to China, and he actually

(39:43):
turned it into a business. Well, the Communist Party had
to been the one who said it, okay. So this
shows that Tim Waltz has maintained really dubious ties to
that organization over the course of decades.

Speaker 7 (39:58):
All Right, so now we have this latest news out
of New York. The governor there, Kathy Hokeel, and her
deputy chief of staff being arrested charged with unlicensed foreign agent.
Are we talking a spy right there in the Governor's
office in New York?

Speaker 8 (40:14):
She and her husband.

Speaker 6 (40:15):
Both we're talking a spy.

Speaker 42 (40:18):
We're also talking an operative because Linda's son and her
husband were working to make sure that New York state
policy under both Governor Hokeel and her predecessor, Governor Cuomo,
was very friendly to the Communist Party. So, for instance,
she persuaded Governor Hokeel to cut ties with Taiwan. It

(40:40):
persuaded Governor Hokeel to maintain ties with Communist Communist Party
front organizations. It runs the list. She was compensated for this.
She did not tell either governor what she was doing.
She was an operative for the Chinese.

Speaker 7 (40:56):
Government, and this is while the Wuhan flu was being unleashed.

Speaker 42 (41:02):
Yes, this was during a very sensitive time in our history.
One of the things that China's operatives did, and this
is not necessarily Linda Sun, but one thing that China's
operatives did during that period was to make sure that
the United States did not blame China for what China
in fact did, which was this bug actually came from China.

(41:27):
That's incontrovertible. But the one thing that these operatives did
was to make sure that they minimized China's culpability because
once this disease got out into the general Chinese population,
Cajan Ping lied about its transmissibility and forced other countries
to take Chinese passengers, which is how this became not

(41:49):
just a local Chinese disease, but became a global pandemic.

Speaker 3 (41:53):
Gordon, we've only got a minute left. But you look
at these two stories, the Kathy Hochel story the Tim
Wall's story, and you wonder which ones do we not
know about? How pervasive do you think it is that
Chinese influ Chinese Communist Party influences are infiltrating our governments
across this country.

Speaker 42 (42:10):
Extremely pervasive. Remember the first time that the Chinese operative
contacted Eric Swalwell was not when he was sitting on
the House Intelligence Committee, where he would have been a
great benefit to Beijing, but when he was on the
City Council of Dublin City, California, which means China is
grooming hundreds of Swalwells, maybe even thousands. That's not to

(42:30):
say Swalwell does anything wrong. It is to say, though,
that he was targeted among many many other Americans.

Speaker 3 (42:38):
No question about it, and a judgment call there. You know,
his judgment is simply awful, and he continues to hold
a position of great authority I think within the Democrat
Party that's astounding, and by the way, the trips that
you mentioned that Tim Walls took with his students, some
of the students have started talking and saying, you know
what he did while he was there. He bought up
as many little read books as he could find to

(42:59):
give them away his gifts back here in the States.
What does that tell you, Gordon, Well, it tells.

Speaker 42 (43:03):
Us that he actually believes in Maoism or socialism as
he calls it, our communism. And this is a belief
that he's held continually. Because he recently said that socialism
is just being a good neighbor, which indicates that he
has not changed his views about Chinese communism.

Speaker 3 (43:23):
He said exactly that, Gordon Shang, political journalist and author. Gordon,
always a pleasure chatting with you. Thank you for the insights.

Speaker 13 (43:29):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 27 (43:30):
I appreciate it.

Most of the.

Speaker 7 (46:06):
Agents there were not Secret Service agents. They were from
Homeland Security.

Speaker 3 (46:13):

Speaker 10 (46:15):
The only training that they received was an online webinar,
a two hour online webinar, and I'm told that about
half the time the sound of the webinar didn't even work.

Speaker 7 (46:25):
Holly with Fox's Jesse Waters, he said. The whistleblowers also

Speaker 7 (46:47):
Six zh three is our time, Kamala Harris, Her various
fake accents are getting noticed by everyone except those closest
to her.

Speaker 26 (46:56):
Since when does the vice president have what sounds like
a Southern I have no.

Speaker 27 (47:01):
Idea what you're talking about.

Speaker 7 (47:04):
White House spokesperson Cararine Jean Pierre, ignoring that Harris gives
the same speech. She gave it twice on Monday, in
two different accents depending on the audience. More than six
weeks now, We're still waiting for Kamala Harris to do
a one on one TV interview as opposed to Donald Trump,
who just doesn't stop.

Speaker 11 (47:26):
She was a joke until six weeks ago when they
said we're going to have to politically, they felt they
had to pick her.

Speaker 8 (47:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (47:34):
Trump was talking to podcaster A host Lex Friedman yesterday.
Friedman has about four million followers. With so much misinformation
in the mainstream media, a Heritage Foundation now launching a
multimillion dollar effort to expose Harris for who she really is.

Speaker 30 (47:54):
Shara.

Speaker 19 (47:55):
It all starts with their new website, dangerously Liberal dot com.

Speaker 39 (48:00):
And what this website allows people to do. It suggests
go on and read it for themselves. What the impact
of her leadership in this administration has done. It's not political,
it's strictly fact.

Speaker 19 (48:11):
That's Harrison Fields with the Heritage Foundation. The website is up,
and there's more.

Speaker 39 (48:17):
The other component of this plan is a million dollar
ad campaign that is intended on reaching persuadable Americans through
text message and through digital advertising.

Speaker 6 (48:28):
To let voters know the truth about all of the
key issues.

Speaker 19 (48:33):
Jeff Biggs News Radio seven k t r H.

Speaker 7 (48:36):
Well, a little bit of unease about the stock market
this day. Stock Future is down this morning again after
that bloodbath on Wall Street yesterday. In Vidia already down
two percent in this pre market trade. It lost about
three hundred billion in its value yesterday, as the Biden
Harris administration is now ramping up its anti trust investigation

(49:02):
of Nvidia. There's also this deep ties between the Chinese
Communist Party and the Democrat Party's VP candidate.

Speaker 9 (49:11):
Tim Waltz, who is interested in China, probably will have
a very large impact on China policy in a Harris administration.

Speaker 7 (49:20):
China expert author Gordon Changi told KTRH Walls has longtime
ties to the CCP, going back all the way to
the nineties. He says Walls should not be allowed anywhere
near foreign policy when it comes to China, Oh, Vice
President anyone. It's now six oh six. The US has
charged six Hamas leaders with terrorism and other crimes related

(49:43):
to the October seventh terrorist attack in Israel. Attorney General
Mary Garland was trying to sound like he's tough.

Speaker 15 (49:52):
These actions will not be our last.

Speaker 7 (49:56):
AMAS political leader ya Ya Sinoar is already among those
who are charged. New school, you're at Columbia University in
New York started the same way the last one ended

Speaker 17 (50:09):
The school's alma mater statue was left covered in red paints.
We do know at least two of the protesters were
arrested and taken into custody by NYPD. We're learning the
extent of anti Semitic incidents on campus, with a new
report from the university's anti Semitism task Force revealing some
shock findings that include Jewish students being chased out of
their dorms, spat on, and even pinned up against walls.

Speaker 8 (50:34):
All right, that's Ashley Stromyer reporting.

Speaker 7 (50:36):
Not every college out of control, though, we have a
new one in Texas, the University of Austin officially opening
this week with one hundred students. Its goal to return
higher education to the pursuit of truth and free speech.
They used to call that a liberal education, now is
known more as a traditional education. Leaving the Democrat Party

(51:01):
to become a republican state. Rep Sean Terry tells KTRH
she hopes it sends the Democrats of Texas a message
I can't be a part.

Speaker 20 (51:11):
Of this, and what I want them to do is
at least tell the truth, particularly in communities like I represent.
Tell the average person who lives in he send that
they believe that it is okay to cut off healthy
body parts of children.

Speaker 28 (51:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (51:25):
Terry says she's received overwhelming support actually from fellow Democrats
and hopes this will encourage more of them to have
courage to speak out against the radical policies that are
overtaking the party. It is six eight strosen Cincinnati, Deny.

Speaker 2 (51:59):

Speaker 3 (52:05):
Okay, eight minutes after six o'clock, Good morning, once again,
thanks for being with Uspop Frans sitting in for Jimmy So.
Yesterday we spent a great deal of time talking about
Elon Musk and X being banned by Twitter or excuse me,
by Brazil rather, the Brazilian Supreme Court Justice decided that
unless Elon Musk is going to conform to all of

(52:26):
their strict government regulations with respect to what appears, what
content appears on X that it can't be it can't
be viewed there, So tens of millions of Brazilian viewers
now can no longer participate on X. Well, today we
find out that the entire Brazilian Supreme Court has upheld
that decision. So he's out. And the real update to

(52:49):
the story isn't from Brazil. It's from here. It's from
the United States. It's from the Democrat nominee for President
of the United States, Kamala Harris, who supports and degrees
with in champions what Brazil just did to come down
against free speech.

Speaker 24 (53:07):
He has lost his privileges and it should be taken down.
And the bottom line is that you can't say that
you have one rule for Facebook and you have a
different rule for Twitter.

Speaker 8 (53:15):
The same rule has to apply.

Speaker 24 (53:16):
Which is that there has to be a responsibility that
is placed on these social media sites to understand their power.

Speaker 8 (53:24):
They are directly.

Speaker 24 (53:25):
Speaking to millions and millions of people without any level
of oversight or.

Speaker 3 (53:32):
Regulation, which is and she said this by the way
back at the.

Speaker 8 (53:36):
In twenty nineteen we ran that clip earlier.

Speaker 3 (53:39):
Yeah, yes, and she hasn't changed, not one bit, not
one bit. But what she is saying then and what
she said at her current you know, the recent convention,
is the same thing she believes now, and that is
that government must regulate speech, Government must regulate content. Government
gets to decide what you can and cannot see. That
should chill people to the bone. And by the way,

(54:00):
it should also be pointed out that so does she listen.

Speaker 24 (54:02):
To correctly speaking to millions and millions of people without
any level of oversight.

Speaker 3 (54:10):
Isn't that what she does? Is that what every politician does.
They speak to millions.

Speaker 7 (54:15):
And millions of government does, and they do it by stranglehold.
They can throw you in jail, you know these platforms. Yeah,
they have tremendous power to censor. But it's people speaking
to each other, isn't it. Is that what they're really
afraid of. Yes, people are actually being able to speak
to each other.

Speaker 3 (54:33):
Well, more specifically, they don't want people to be able
to learn anything from one another. They want only people
to learn only what the government tells them, which is
the point of their regulations and their control. They want
people to not speak to each other, or learn from
one another. Just listen to what the government tells you
that unrestrained does speech. She has no problem with. Okay,
let's do trafficking whether now it's six eleven Skymike on

(54:56):

Speaker 6 (54:56):
All right, this is all you. Two twenty five outbound

Speaker 4 (55:00):

are just about going. Let's stay the course here, look

the Weather Channel has the forecast.

Speaker 8 (56:09):
Hi, Terry, Hey, good morning.

Speaker 22 (56:11):
Well, the rain will persist, and we've had so much
wet weather along the coast that flooding is more of
a concern than it's been recently. More heavy rain possible,
just aggravating the very saturated ground that we're seeing, especially
near the coast. That's where the rain's likely to be
the heaviest. Floodwatch until sometime late tomorrow night early Friday morning.

(56:33):
Chambers Meta Gorda, Brazoria, Galveston Counties. We have a sixty

Speaker 3 (56:56):

Speaker 3 (57:11):

newscast about this, the Heritage Foundation launching a million dollar
effort to expose the Biden Harris administrations dangerously liberal policies.
Matter of fact, there's a new website, dangerouslyliberal dot com.
We're gonna check in with Harrison Fields, assistant director at
the Heritage Foundation, right after we do traffic and weather
one more time at six twenty.

Speaker 4 (57:30):
Here's got on the Southwest Freeway northbound Hillcroft that they're
still calling that a stall. Okay, I believe it. It's
an eighteen wheeler Inboundhillcroft. Look out here, Jason from Alvins

Speaker 3 (59:15):
Never sounded so good. All right, let's run through a
couple of these things here. Unsecured border, mass, amnesty, sanctuary policies,
Green New Deal, disastrous economic stances, Medicare for All and
DEI and CRT. Those things would all be defined as
dangerously liberal policies and they all come from the Harris

(59:38):
Walls campaign and the Biden Harris administration. That's where the
Heritage Foundation wants to expose before the selection. Harrison Fields
joins us, now assistant director at the Heritage Foundation.

Speaker 6 (59:48):
Harrison good morning, Good morning, Thank you so much for
having me.

Speaker 3 (59:51):
Certainly tell us about the website, tell us about the
agenda here.

Speaker 40 (59:56):
Yeah, so it was an effort by the Heritage Foundation
under the leader of doctor Roberts, doctor Kevin Roberts, and
essentially all it is. It's a campaign to educate persuadable
members of the electorate and provide them the information that
they otherwise would not be googling.

Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
Every day.

Speaker 40 (01:00:17):
Most Americans aren't googling the record of our vice president
or our president.

Speaker 6 (01:00:21):
A lot of them are living it.

Speaker 40 (01:00:22):
They feel the inflation, they feel the open border, they
feel the wars overseas, and they feel crime obviously. But
we've created a website that basically houses her record. It's
not political by nature, it can't because we're a C
three organization. It essentially just provides the American people a
platform to say, what is this Kamala Harris about. Oh,

(01:00:43):
it's about ten point three million illegal immigrants coming, it's
inflation up twenty percent since she and Joe Biden have
entered the office. It's about DEI, it's about CRT, It's
about all the major things, but also cover some of
the little things that we don't even track day to
day that they're doing executive orders and through the agencies.

Speaker 7 (01:01:02):
All Right, So, how do people how far down on
the list of a search engine are you so that
people can find you since you do the basic searching
for them on all these different topics.

Speaker 40 (01:01:15):
Yeah, So if you go to Google or bing whatever
you use dangerouslyliberal dot com, dangerouslyliberal dot com. If you
just put in your search engine, it'll take you directly
to the website Google. Hopefully they're not doing any shenanigans,
but it should be on the first page and you
click it, and it's a very nice website. It lays

(01:01:36):
out all the information really nicely, and then there's different icons.
There's different tabs that, oh, I want to know about
our energy policy, you hit on energy, Oh I want
to know about the border, or I want to know
about the economy. The list goes on. It's a really
great web website. And additionally, if you happen to be
a persuadable some would say independent voter, there's always there's

(01:01:57):
also going to be a text message and digital media
campaign to tie in with the website. So individuals that
are persuadable will be getting targeted as targeted text messages
updating them about her record. Again, not political in nature,
it's just giving out information.

Speaker 3 (01:02:17):
Well, you know, Harrison, when she said at the beginning
is really important, you said, if you google up Kamala
Harrison's record, very few people are googling up Kamala Harris's
record and you're right, and the Biden Harris administration's record,
and you're right. But even if they tried, they're not
going to get anything that's real. They're going to get
the sanitized version of it by Google. That's what share
was asking about too. They're going to push any of
your content down into the third, fourth, or fifth page

(01:02:38):
of results of search results if you search their record.
That's what makes this site so important, to make it
easy for people to find you're right.

Speaker 40 (01:02:46):
Because the White House does have an accomplishment's page. I
used to serve in the Trump pen's White House, and
we had an Accomplishman's page. Lucky for us, a lot
of our accomplishments weren't. Plus we did have record low inflation, rectors,
low employment. The list goes on, you know, the things.

Speaker 3 (01:03:02):
We did in Israel.

Speaker 40 (01:03:03):
But if you go to the website now, they're not
going to tell you that inflation's up twenty percent. They're
going to say, you know, America has the best inflationary
you know economy in the world. Okay, well, who cares
what the inflation rate is in you know, South Korea.
We want to know why gas is up forty percent
since you've been in office. So this allows an unfiltered

(01:03:23):
message directly and it's all linked. A lot of it
is all sourced, you know, because you know, Oh it's
from the Heritage Foundation. Oh it's this, well the facts remained.
If it's coming from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, if
it's coming from US Customers and Border Patrol, that's not political.
That is government statistics that we are just providing you
on a website that's friendly and easy to use.

Speaker 3 (01:03:44):
It's a great site. I've been clicking through the tabs
here all morning since I found out about it, So
we're so good or so glad. Rather to share this
with other people, dangerouslyliberal dot com. Dangerouslyliberal dot com is
the website. Click the tabs, follow through, read all of
the record, read all of her policy agenda, and so forth.
It is extremely important to know and as you said,
not political from your point of view. But I hope people,

(01:04:05):
I hope people everywhere in this country read it before
November fifth. Harrison Fields, Assistant director at Heritage Harrison thank you.
Appreciate you very much.

Speaker 40 (01:04:15):

It's six thirty two on news Radio seven forty KTRH.

Speaker 8 (01:06:35):
Our top story.

Speaker 7 (01:06:35):
This is our Democrat VP candidate Tim Walls called out
for ignoring questions about an American who was killed by
Hamas and Gazza last weekend. Kamala Harris hasn't said anything
about the two Marines attacked by the mob of people
in Turkey on Monday.

Speaker 29 (01:06:50):
If you google Kamala Harris and Turkey, all you're gonna
get is he Thanksgiving recipe. Okay, this is not someone
who was taken seriously, whether it's on anti Semitism, with
Rit's on.

Speaker 7 (01:07:00):
Israel, South Carolina Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace on Fox, Harris
and Walls staying silent. Biden Harris State Department flat out
lying about our country's policy toward Israel.

Speaker 34 (01:07:15):
We are not calling for Israel in any way, and
we have never throughout these negotiations called on Israel in
any way to compromise its security. We stand by Israel's security.
We stand by Israel's right to defend itself. Our commitment
to that security Sacras sainct.

Speaker 7 (01:07:30):
Gives you a lot of confidence, doesn't it. That's the
spokesman Matthew Miller, not mentioning that Harris pressured the Israelis
to stay out of Rafa, where the six hostages were killed.
By the way, the House Foreign Affairs Committee has subpoenaed
the Secretary of State Anthony Blincoln to testify about the
botched withdrawal three years ago from Afghanistan. The deadline is

(01:07:52):
September nineteenth, or Blincoln could be facing contempt of Congress charges.
Gets worse, though, a former top New York up to
New York Governor, Kathy Hochel, Democrat, charged with acting as
an undisclosed agent of the Chinese government.

Speaker 25 (01:08:12):
This is a disturbing trend that we have seen from
the communist Chinese that they are willing to infiltrate.

Speaker 7 (01:08:19):
New York Republican Congresswoman Nicole Mally Attacks. Linda's son was arrested.
Her husband also facing criminal charges of espionage. And under
money laundering, and it goes back to the predecessor as well,
Cuomo when he was governor. None of this is going
to change if Harris wins the election in November, though

(01:08:40):
the mainstream media doing its best to make her seem
like a totally new politician.

Speaker 2 (01:08:46):
This is the lie at the heart of Kamala Harris's
campaign that if you elect her, she's somehow going to
be different than she already has been in office.

Speaker 7 (01:08:55):
Republican VP candidate JD Vance there calling it out. Donald
Trumpy's going to be hosting a town hall later denied

Speaker 14 (01:09:26):
This is just the latest example of action being taken
directly against a platform.

Speaker 36 (01:09:30):
This follows what happened with telegrams CEO in France.

Speaker 6 (01:09:33):
You are seeing what people perceive.

Speaker 36 (01:09:35):
As Western democratic countries take action against the social platforms.

Speaker 14 (01:09:40):
Internet and privacy attorney Travis Crabtree told Kati or H
this is why we shouldn't take freedom of speech for granted.

Speaker 36 (01:09:46):
We have the First Amendment and most of the rest
of the world does not. Even in Europe, the freedom
of speech is not at the same level of protection
that we have here.

Speaker 14 (01:09:54):
Without those First Amendment protections, a shutdown of X could
occur even in Europe. Ethan Buchanan News Radio seven four KRH.

Speaker 7 (01:10:01):
And even here Kamala Harris is approving of what's going
on in Brazil, and she talked about doing it here too,
back in twenty nineteen on CNN.

Speaker 24 (01:10:12):
There has to be a responsibility that is placed on
these social media sites to understand their power.

Speaker 7 (01:10:20):

I said, cherries. You know, Michigan has great cherries, chocolate

Speaker 8 (01:13:27):
I know, I'll have to cinema text.

Speaker 3 (01:13:29):
Yeah, I have no question. Hey, interesting story here and
not interesting as much as really horror horrifying. I guess,
I don't know if we've talked about it much. Yesterday
they reported from New York the number the violent crimes
in Midtown Manhattan.

Speaker 8 (01:13:46):
Oh can you believe that?

Speaker 3 (01:13:47):
Yeah? I mean, you know, people like to dismiss this
when we talk about the danger of this unchecked border,
this rampantly unchecked border, and people, oh, you know, the
migrants are peaceful, they're just, you know, people look for
a better life and so on. And I'm sure many
of them are obviously until they aren't, well, said migrants
flooding New York City's justice system, making up seventy five

(01:14:10):
percent of arrests in Midtown as sanctuary city laws handcuffed cops.
This is extraordinary. The New York Post, a daily wire
all reporting on this New York Post story says, and
get the specifics here. Across New York, recently arrived migrants
are flooding the criminal justice system at far higher rates

(01:14:31):
than public officials have acknowledged. According to the Post, police
sources say as many as seventy five percent of the
people they've been arresting in Midtown Manhattan in recent months
for crimes like assault, robbery, and domestic violence. In other words,
violent crimes are migrants. In parts of Queens to figure
is more than sixty percent there on any given day,

(01:14:51):
Big Apple criminal court dockets are packed with asylum seekers
as they're being called, who have run a follow of
the law, asylum seeker of court. This is the more
genteel way of saying undocumented immigrants, which is the more
genteel way of saying what they really are, which is
illegal aliens. And this is happening all of New York,
but particularly in midtowns. Seventy five percent, three of every

(01:15:12):
four violent criminals is an illegal alien. Think about that
for a minute and then tell me once again. And
I hope to God that Team Trump is preparing him
for September tenth for that debate and he brings that up,
because that is extraordinary when everybody says, or when people say,
every state is a border state. Now it might not
be real in geographical terms, but figuratively speaking, we are.

(01:15:36):
We're all border states.

Speaker 7 (01:15:38):
Well, you can't have law and order if first you're
breaking the law, and you can have the order if
you're coming in letting people in by the millions, breaking
the law by the millions.

Speaker 3 (01:15:48):
That's right. I mean eleven million people just in three

Speaker 7 (01:15:51):
It's so basic, it's such common sense that I don't
understand why people don't have not been able to say

storms tomorrow ned the upper eighties, and then a fifty

So the left is championing this latest development. John McCain's son,
Jimmy McCain says, and this is quoting from a couple
of different tweets. This one is Colin Rod says, Jimmy
is so disgusted that Donald Trump would turn Arlington into
a quote campaign backdrop end quote that he is voting

(01:20:49):
for Kamala Harris. Fortunately, Twitter being what Twitter is or
x is, there are I don't know, just on my
first scroll through here at least a half a dozen
accounts showing a video, a John McCain campaign video from
nineteen ninety nine in which he used Arlington National Cemetery

(01:21:12):
as a campaign backdrop. Literally, what has his son so
furious that he's going to vote for Kamala Harris. He's
going to vote for a communist and a maoist over
Donald Trump, an American capitalist. All because Donald Trump honored
thirteen dead heroes at the request of those dead heroes

(01:21:36):
family members on the anniversary of their deaths at Arlington,
then posed for pictures with them. That apparently is such
an egregious crime that the McCain family, or at least
this particular member, and we already know where Megan stands,
that they're going to vote for Kamala Harris and the
end of the United States of America. Meanwhile, here's Dad,

(01:21:58):
here's Pops, Papa McCain literally in this campaign ad in
which he stands so somberly praying and observing it at Arlington, which,
by the way, I have no problem with. I have
no problem with him doing it. I have no problem
with Donald Trump having pictures taken with the gold Star
Family members either this.

Speaker 8 (01:22:17):
Did you know that you can't take pictures at Arlington?
I never knew that.

Speaker 3 (01:22:21):
I've been to Arlington and we took pictures.

Speaker 7 (01:22:23):
I did too, Yes, JFK's no cemetery and just the.

Speaker 8 (01:22:29):
Rows of stuff markers.

Speaker 3 (01:22:31):
I mean yeah, I mean I think we probably have
all done it. And no, I don't think anybody knew
that there was any rule. The reason that the rule,
if there is one Shara was brought to the forefront
here is because orange Man bat I mean, that's it.
I mean, anybody else does this, It's no big deal.
Here's John McCain in a campaign ad. I'm staring at
it right now. It's a thirty second ad. He's walking

(01:22:51):
around through the markers, all somber and which you know
you should be when you're there, of course. But I
have no problem with it, and nobody ever did until
orange Man did it.

Speaker 7 (01:23:00):
Well, I believe that Arlington belongs to the people who
are buried there in their families exactly, and not the government,
and is certainly not the Democrat.

Speaker 3 (01:23:09):
Parties exactly correct, Yep, it is. It's a campaign. It's
just a campaign stunt. Is That's all this is here
talking about the you know, the left and Kamala Harris
and Tim Wallas. I guarantee you coordinating with people like
you know, the McCain family and you know the Mitt
Romney's and all the other Republicans who say that they're
going to vote for Kamala Harris over Donald Trump. You know,

(01:23:30):
they're doing everything that they can to try to humiliate
Trump and make him look like again Orange man bat.
But I just want everybody Jack Pasobic, by the way,
wins the line here. Boy, it would be a shame
if this went viral talking about the video of John
McCain at Arlington in a campaign ad. It is a
political ad from nineteen ninety nine. So yeah, it would

(01:23:51):
be a shame if everybody saw that. Okay, six fifty five,

actually not true.

Ten All right, seven minutes after, Well, we'll call it
eight now because we're rolling up on eight minutes after
seven o'clock. Good morning, Thank you so much for being
with us. So browsing around Twitter a little bit for
some interesting news this morning and a really great point here.
The NFL season is about to start. As you know,
Share just wrapped up her newscast with a couple of
sports notes there. As you heard, the Packers and Eagles

(01:33:47):
are scheduled to play this Friday. Are they playing in
Green Bay, Wisconsin?

Speaker 12 (01:33:52):
No?

Speaker 3 (01:33:53):
Are they playing in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. No, They're playing in Brazil,
which is very very interesting. This tweet from Charlie Kirk
makes it more interesting. The Packers and Eagles are scheduled
to play this Friday in Brazil, where X has just
been banned in a sweeping crackdown on free speech. So

(01:34:14):
let's get this straight. Major League Baseball took away the
All Star Game from Atlanta because Georgia passed voting integrity laws.
Remember that the NCAA boycotted North Carolina because it had
a lot to keep mentally ill men out of girls,
bathrooms and locker rooms. Thirty years ago, the NFL took
away the Super Bowl from Arizona because the voters there

(01:34:36):
didn't make MLK Day a paid holiday. But now in
twenty twenty four, the NFL is bringing its road show
to bring millions of dollars to Brazil while that country
declares war against free speech. That is a hell of
a development, isn't it. It's interesting how our woke sports

(01:34:59):
league exist. This is why I've been at shere. You
you may or man, I know this. I've been doing
radio for a little over twenty five twenty six years.
For a large number of that I was doing sports radio.
I was all about sports. I lived it, breathed that
ate it. It's all I did. It's all I ever
wanted to do. And I don't even watch it anymore
I can. I won't watch, you know, MLB because of BLM,

(01:35:19):
because they put it on the mound. And I won't
watch the NFL because of what they did with the
kneelers and because of the extraordinary wokeism in that league.
I won't watch the NBA for about a thousand different reasons.
I used to and I worked. I worked for professional teams.
I worked for the Oakland Raiders, I worked for the
Cleveland Browns, I worked for the Cleveland Indians and the
Cleveland Cavaliers. I literally was paid by the leagues. And

(01:35:42):
I won't even watch them anymore. And their hypocrisy is
one of the reasons why the fact that they're taking
their show to Brazil. They'll take their show to to
Beijing before too long. You watch and see they're going
to start playing games in China to try to tap
into the you know the billion.

Speaker 8 (01:35:57):
Uh it work for basketball, didn't.

Speaker 16 (01:36:00):
Yeah, exactly right. They don't care the money, thank you.
It's it's about money. It's money and entertainment. There's a
lot of money and entertainment.

Speaker 3 (01:36:11):
And there's just no core beliefs. But you know what,
they didn't care about the money when it came to
the stories that Charlie just referenced Georgia and what they
did in North Carolina and so on and so forth.
They want to advance their woke policies and their woke
beliefs and force them on other people. It's and I
just want to point it out there for everybody. By
the way, follow me on social media. I have switched

(01:36:31):
all of my social media accounts, by the way, to
the new name of my radio program and television program.
It's called Strictly Speaking. So find me on Twitter at
Strictly Speaking with Bob France, on Facebook, Instagram, and truth
social as well. Look for strictly Speaking with Bob France
and also if you wouldn't mind give me a subscribe
and a like on my videos on my new Rumble

(01:36:52):
and YouTube pages, which are also strictly speaking. That's my
interview show with one hundred episodes now being completed and
starting to drop on those platforms as well. I never
promote myself on social media. I should probably do more
of it. Okay, it is, it really really is. And
you know what's worse about it? You sare I hate social media?
I do too, I think, but we're in a business

(01:37:14):
where if you're not promoting yourself, you are losing, and
you are losing them followed you.

Speaker 7 (01:37:18):
I guess I don't the follow doesn't go along. I'm
gonna have to go look you up.

Speaker 3 (01:37:22):
No, it doesn't, it doesn't, and that's a big problem.
I still suffer from algorithmic suppression. I'll push things out
to people and they'll reach nine people out of the
you know, thirteen thousand. It's crazy, and that's on different platforms.
It's really really crazy.

Speaker 6 (01:37:37):
I used to schedule my life around the NFL. Five friends,
I was a season ticket holder.

Speaker 4 (01:37:42):
I's a tailgate organizer and dude, I can't I frustrating.

the coast. We're seeing some heavy rain down toward Galveston,
showers around Pearland, and it's a sixty percent chance that
you're going to get rain at some point over the
course of the day. Upper eighties, the low nineties today,
seventy percent chance and more showers than storms. Heavy rains
of possibility mid upper eighties, fifty percent, chants of thunderstorms Friday.

Speaker 8 (01:39:16):
But guess what it is all gone.

Speaker 22 (01:39:19):
It's back to blue skies and comfortable temperatures over the
weekend mid eighties to low nineties Saturday and Sunday.

Speaker 3 (01:39:26):
All right, I thought you were going to sing your
elo there. We'll take it. Eighty one degrees, mister Bluesky,
for those who don't know, eighty one degrees at your
official severe weather station is Radio seven forty KTRH.

Speaker 2 (01:39:36):
It's Houston's Morning News, brought to you by New South
Windows Solutions. Now back to Jimmy and Sherah with the
info you need to take on the day.

Speaker 3 (01:39:47):
All Right, it is seven twenty. You know Robert F.
Kennedy Junior, Tulsea Gabbard. There seems to be kind of
a growing list of disaffected Democrats switching to becoming Republicans
or supporting Republicans. And there is another name to add
to that list. And we're going to talk about Sean
theory coming up here, just a couple of moments with
State Representative Steve Toath. Right now, let's check the drive

(01:40:08):
though once again here is sky.

Speaker 4 (01:40:09):
By pitching from the stretch. So let's clear Graham Parkway.
If you're somebody's butler and Tomball, you're good to go.

Speaker 6 (01:40:15):
Now westbound fifty nine.

Speaker 4 (01:40:17):
You've got one forty six southbound at fairmc man that's
causing some crazy backups southbound.

Speaker 6 (01:40:22):
It's a wreck a right line backup from two twenty.

Speaker 4 (01:40:24):
Five Skymike and the classic elite GMC traffic center.

Speaker 3 (01:40:28):
All right, thank you, sir. Overcast and rainy today, sixty
percent chance of spotty showers getting to you. High of
eighty eight tonight down to seventy seven. Scattered thunderstorms tomorrow
and eighty four Friday, a little more rain possible, fifty
percent high of eighty eight. Then Saturday and Sunday it'll
be full sunshine, highs in the mid upper eighties. Right
now eighty one at your official severe weather station, news

(01:40:48):
Radio seven forty k t H. Let's check the headlines.

Speaker 7 (01:40:51):

Speaker 6 (01:41:34):
Feature presentation facts.

Speaker 1 (01:41:36):
So Batana's an er fake fake fank Uth Radio seven
forty ktrh.

Speaker 3 (01:41:43):
OK seven twenty two. It's becoming something of a familiar
theme right now. In a statement on X, Shawn Theory
state representative wrote that she was raised and has voted
as a Democrat her entire life, but no longer recognizes
the party. It is so extreme and gone far left
she had to pull out of it and is now
embracing the Republican Party. What does that mean? Let's talk

(01:42:03):
to Steve Totow, Texas State Representative about that.

Speaker 27 (01:42:05):
Steve, good morning, Good morning guys.

Speaker 3 (01:42:09):
So Governor Abbott gave her a hearty welcome on Twitter,
welcoming her to the Republican Party. What is your what
are your thoughts on a Democrat like Sean Theory coming
over to join the Republicans.

Speaker 30 (01:42:21):
Sewn has sat in front of me on the House
floor the last two sessions. She's a wonderful person, and
I actually carried that bill the last session session four
last to stop the gender mutilation of little boys and girls.
And even then two years ago, Sean was really troubled
by the Democrats embracing of this crazy belief that you

(01:42:45):
can turn a little boy into a little girl or
a little girl into a little boy. Meanwhile, over in
Europe they're running away from this. They're ten years ahead
of us, and they're seeing the science just doesn't show
that you can do this, that kids still have the
same rates of Sue side and it's just it's not working.
And Sean was just really really troubled by it. And

(01:43:06):
you know, it goes back to the whole thing about
what Ronald Reagan said sixty years ago. I didn't leave
the Democrat Party. The Democrat Party left.

Speaker 7 (01:43:13):
Me, absolutely, but you know the way they viciously went
after her. I mean they primary because she wasn't towing
the line. And I've known and covered Democrats in Texas
for more than forty years, and these are not the
people who made Texas a good state.

Speaker 8 (01:43:32):
The Democrat Party today.

Speaker 7 (01:43:34):
These are outsiders and it's outside money and it's just
shameful how they've overtaken this state.

Speaker 30 (01:43:41):
Yeah, you're absolutely right, Shara, and Sean's not the only one.
There are members of the Democrat Party that did not
want to go with this, but they knew what awaited them,
which was they'd be primary. And Sewan after she got up,
went to the front mic and spoke against this bill,
that they're going to come after me, and man did

(01:44:02):
they with a vengeance. They ran somebody against her. They
fully funded their campaign. They're terrible.

Speaker 39 (01:44:09):
It was. It was vicious.

Speaker 3 (01:44:11):
Yeah, well, this is what they've become. And you know,
I can understand why she would be, you know, pulling
away from it. The question is, though, for a lot
of these individuals, a lot of these Democrats that are
pulling away, something happened in this case that bill. And
I agree with you, by the way, every single word
of it with respect and mutilating kids. But there'll be
one issue like that. But do they change their whole
value system? In other words, are they going to become

(01:44:32):
full conservatives or rhinal Republicans. I don't know, Sean, So
do you have a thought.

Speaker 12 (01:44:37):
On that.

Speaker 30 (01:44:40):
Or it remains to be seen. Same thing with Tulsey Gabbert.
You know, it's just an RFK. You know, I don't know,
We'll see, only time will tell. But at the end
of the day, it's it's really showing what's truly going
on in the Democrat Party.

Speaker 3 (01:44:57):
Yeah, no question about that. Steve toa, Texas State reports
Senative laying it all out for us here with US
Sean theory becoming a Republican after leaving the party, saying,
and you're right, by the way, great quote on Ronald Reagan.
There the party is leaving more and more Democrats, and
even if they.

Speaker 7 (01:45:11):
Are the party, the party is dissolving both parties.

Speaker 8 (01:45:14):
I think.

Speaker 7 (01:45:15):
I think the Republican Party isn't the Republican Party that
it was either. I mean, we have a Uni party
forming that is a Uni party of RFK and a
Donald Trump.

Speaker 8 (01:45:27):
It's it's a populis party.

Speaker 3 (01:45:29):
And there's a civil war there. There's a civil war
within that party.

Speaker 23 (01:45:32):
Thought, yeah, there.

Speaker 7 (01:45:33):
Is, but there's a civil war within the Republican Party.
There's a civil war within the Democrat Party.

Speaker 3 (01:45:38):
Right now, Well, it's a big move.

Speaker 8 (01:45:41):
Can may arise of a new new party system, I believe.

Speaker 3 (01:45:44):
Yeah, people have been calling that for decades. It just
never seems to materialize. I don't know what it's going
to take for that to happen, but you might be right.
But Steve Toath, Texas State Representative, Steve, thanks for the time.
We appreciate all right, seven twenty six. Now let's get
into a Bloomberg Business Report, and once here is John Donager.

Speaker 31 (01:46:02):
Well about neither of the main presidential candidates nor some
members of Congress like US Steel's plan to merge with
Japan's Nippon Steal. US steal ceo says he doesn't get it.
The company is set today to rally employees at it's
Pittsburgh headquarters to promote the benefits of the deal, mainly
the infusion of cash the CEO says it'll bring to
upgrade older plants. Without it, The Wall Street Journal says

(01:46:25):
he thinks plants will have to close, jobs will be
in danger, and the company might even move its headquarters
out of Pittsburgh. Valve always hitting the brakes on electric

lower today. It doesn't look like the selloff is over

Speaker 23 (01:47:13):

Speaker 6 (01:47:18):

Speaker 2 (01:47:24):
More of what's happening now from the John Morris Services studios.

Speaker 3 (01:47:30):
All right, the Harris Walls ticket is called out for
what it's not saying about the murder of an American
by Hamas. And there are more troubling ties between Democrats
and the Chinese Communist Party. Good morning, Bob Frans and
for Jimmy Bartscher's got the details on those stories. More
coming up, But first we're going to hit your traffic
once again. Here's scottlanck Man.

Speaker 4 (01:47:48):
That Southwest Freeway all right, northbound. I was the first
to know that was a wreck, not a stall eighteen wheeler.
Everybody's okay, northbound, Hillcroft, we're backed up from the Beltway.

Speaker 6 (01:47:56):
Let's do some alternates, y'all.

Speaker 4 (01:47:58):
Let's do if you're a big shot with the toll
sticker to the west part Tolway commenters take all ninety

Speaker 6 (01:48:05):

the rest. Coming up in about eight and a half minutes.
Right now, eighty one to nope, we lost one eighty
degrees at your official severe weather station. News Radio seven

(01:48:40):
forty k t RH Now the morning news here Sherah.

Speaker 7 (01:48:43):
Good morning everyone, seven thirty two on News Radio seven
forty k t r H and our top story this hour. Democrats,
well they're just running from the issues. South Carolina Senator
Lindsey Graham blasting Democrat VP candidate Tim Walls for refusing
to even take questions about well the murders of six
hostages held by hamas, one of them an American.

Speaker 33 (01:49:05):
When he refused to answer that question. That's a signal
to all the terrorist groups and Iatola, they really don't
give a damn about our friends at.

Speaker 7 (01:49:16):
Israel, Graham with our own Sean Hannity. Those six hostages,
as I said, including the American, were murdered by the
terrorist captors in Gaza last weekend as the IDF was
attempting to make a rescue. The Biden Harris administration blaming
Israeli leadership though for those murders, and President Biden claims
Benjamin Netanyahu is not making enough concessions to Hamas.

Speaker 34 (01:49:42):
Ultimately, finalizing an agreement will require both sides to show flexibility.
It will require that both sides look for reasons to
get to yes rather than reasons to say no.

Speaker 7 (01:49:52):
State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller. He left out that Israel
has already agreed to several frameworks of ceasefires multiple occasions.
Hamas has not House Foreign Affairs Committee has sub subpoened
Secretary of State Anthony Blincoln to testify about the botched
withdrawal from Afghanistan, the deaths and naming of our servicemen

(01:50:16):
three years ago, the deadline for the testimony September nineteenth,
or Lincoln will be facing contempt charges and a top
staff staffer. We just learned this overnight for New York
Governor Kathy Hokeel has been charged with acting as an
undisclosed agent of the Chinese government.

Speaker 8 (01:50:36):
That means a spy.

Speaker 25 (01:50:39):
She had a tremendous amount of influence and probably advised
to the governor in many different ways and clearly was
to the benefit of the ccpeople.

Speaker 7 (01:50:50):
New York Republican Congresswoman Nicole Mally attacks on Fox Now.
Linda's son was arrested. Her husband also facing criminal charges
a money laundry and espionage. None of this being talked
about very much by the mainstream media, however, is doing
its best to try to bury anything to do with
Harris the regime.

Speaker 35 (01:51:11):
Her record unburdened is her catchphrase for lying to the
American people because she cannot defend the catastrophic failures of
her agenda.

Speaker 7 (01:51:23):
Texas Senator Ted Cruz has said, don't expect it to
change either over the next sixty two days. She's got
to get herself elected, right. It's now seven thirty five.
Elon Musk's FX has been banned in Brazil. By the
Full Supreme Court, first the Chief Justice, now the full Court.
Will our Democrat regime try the same thing here.

Speaker 36 (01:51:44):
It's doubtful that there will be an outright ban of
a social media platform for viewpoints that the government disagrees with.
But as we know, the government can exert pressure in
other ways, as we've seen through the Twitter files.

Speaker 7 (01:51:58):
Internet privacy attorney Crabtree he still believe they followed the law.
He says, we could potentially see a ban of X
in other countries like EU. Well, you think it can
happen here? This is Kamala Harris on CNN in twenty nineteen.

Speaker 24 (01:52:14):
They are directly speaking to millions and millions of people
without any level of oversight or regulation and that has
to stop.

Speaker 7 (01:52:25):
Yeah, that video is viral again now. It was reposted
by Musk and RFK Junior. Seven thirty six.

Speaker 8 (01:52:35):
Is our time.

Speaker 20 (01:52:36):
Well.

Speaker 7 (01:52:36):
The manhuid for the Houston cop killer ended after about
two hours as a suspect accused now of fatally shooting
a deputy constable who was on his way to work,
was captured. Houston Police chief no Idea says they followed
the man because his license plate. They had it down
to Galveston and pursued him through residential neighborhoods before he

(01:52:59):
took us.

Speaker 8 (01:53:00):
What interesting turn heaven drives his vehicle into the water.

Speaker 37 (01:53:05):
In my long career, I've never seen or heard of
anything like that.

Speaker 7 (01:53:09):
Yeah, police took him out of the water and he's
now in custody. Deputy Maher Husseini was killed at the
intersection of Richmond and Fondren in our central city. Basically,
police have yet to establish a motive. It's now seven
thirty six. Rodeo Houston. They've now launched a lobbying organization

(01:53:31):
trying to master the fate of the future of Rodeo here.

Speaker 38 (01:53:36):
They're looking at locations for the next thirty years due
to problems at NRG Park.

Speaker 5 (01:53:40):
There's a lot of issues at the park that needs replacement.
The numbers are really large in regards to defer and maintenance,
so we're looking at trying to have a voice.

Speaker 38 (01:53:50):
A chairman of the Rodeo's Community Coalition, Ray Hinsley, says,
this is a common move for nonprofits. This effort those
not just about buildings, it's about growth.

Speaker 5 (01:53:58):
We want to expand our mission to include all areas
of youth and education and agriculture.

Speaker 38 (01:54:04):
He also says their focus is keeping their thirty five
thousand volunteers happy. Andre Berrard, News Radio seven forty KTRH.

Speaker 7 (01:54:11):
I remember when it was thirty five hundred volunteers. STROS
are in Cincinnati Tonight pregame four thirty on Sports Talk
seven ninety First pitch at five forty kt rh We'll
be joining that game in progress tonight at seven. I'm
Sherevy Fryar on News Radio seven forty kt rh.

Speaker 18 (01:54:29):
D Summer Life, Traveling, Movies, Bad weather happens here, Astros,
screen Time, Inflation, the Election, News Radio seven forty Summer Life, KTRH.

Speaker 3 (01:54:47):
Okay, it is seven thirty eight. Now we do continue
On Houston's Morning News. Bob Frands sitting in for Jimmy.
Jonathan Turley was on Fox this morning. We're talking more
about what shared just covered in the news about Brazil
banning X from the entire platform. Kamala Harris and the
comments that she made would indicate that she supports such
a thing, complaining that people have too much freedom to

(01:55:08):
speak without any guardrails at all. Of course, more of
that is just it's more of the elitism because she
has the freedom to speak and say anything she wants,
but apparently she knows more than everybody else, so therefore
no one needs to check her, but the government needs
to check anybody else who posts or says something online.
Jonathan Turley was asked about what is going to happen
now that Brazil has banned x completely with the full

(01:55:31):
support of their Supreme Court.

Speaker 9 (01:55:35):
No.

Speaker 46 (01:55:35):
I think that's right, although we have to take this
far more seriously than that. You know, in my new book,
The Indispensable Right, I talk about this anti free speech
movement that's been.

Speaker 3 (01:55:46):
Growing around the world.

Speaker 46 (01:55:47):
That wave is now reaching our shores, and they have
largely been unsuccessful in convincing people to give up freedom.

Speaker 12 (01:55:55):
Right.

Speaker 6 (01:55:55):
This is a hard sell.

Speaker 46 (01:55:57):
You got to get free people to give up some freedom,
and it hasn't worked. Facebook even did a commercial campaign
to get young people to embrace censorship. So this is
plan b You know, you have in Europe threats against
Musk for arrest. They've already arrested another ceo of a platform.
But it's really Brazil that I think many in the

(01:56:19):
Ani free speech movement are watching carefully. If Brazil can
succeed in banning Twitter from the entire country, it will
be replicated.

Speaker 3 (01:56:31):
It will be replicated. That's the money line if they
do it successfully, and there's nothing that Musk can do
to get into Brazil and once again tap into that
market of tens of millions of users, one of the
most used countries that most use the platform. You know,
the X platform is a huge blow to Twitter and

(01:56:51):
huge blow to Elon Musk and more importantly, a huge
blow to free speech and liberty. So if they can
do that there, which will be the next domino to fall.
What point do those waves that Jonathan truly mentioned that
are now at our shores, at what point do they
start coming in and creating a tsunami that that just
creates the totalitarianism that the radical left looks for. It's

(01:57:13):
a real, real threat. Okay, seven forty trafficking weather. Let's
see what's happening on the on the drive this morning.

Speaker 4 (01:57:19):
It's Southwest Freeway, Bob, it's about all you can stand now.

Speaker 6 (01:57:22):
That's a truck accident at Hillcroft.

Speaker 4 (01:57:24):
Everybody's okay, let's connect the dots from all ninety from
Maine and that's now at twenty make it Sugar Creek,
twenty five minute drag on the northbound. All right, let's
do some serious alternates here, big shots. Do the West
Park if you're inside Highway six. If you're outside it,
don't do it. I'll tell you why shortly. But take
all ninety the most City Expressway if you're outside Highway six.

Speaker 6 (01:57:46):
Now if you're inside of it.

Speaker 4 (01:57:47):
There's a wreck at Barker Cypress on the West Park
Tollway main lanes, and that's really smushing things up from
Graham Mission Katie Freeway visors. You've got slow downs now
right off Grand Parkway, your exit ramp to Eldridge Parkway,
and then more slowdowns right after Ikea one more time,
trying to hit the president's heads in Uber Mike, we're
talking in our facts Southern accents this morning, I do

(01:58:07):
declare Uber Mike.

Speaker 22 (01:58:08):
Hey, dude, on my nine.

Speaker 6 (01:58:10):
He driving over to the Sandja Center River right, it's
pretty out here. Oh it's Crosby. I have beer there
all the time.

All right, outstanding Gerald from Conrad your Nord free Way
outside or inside Greens is pretty messy and outside he's like.

Speaker 43 (01:58:28):

I got hazardous Cody from Burke.

Speaker 40 (01:58:34):

to ice in you fit it.

Speaker 22 (01:58:39):

Speaker 40 (01:58:41):

Speaker 27 (01:58:42):

Speaker 7 (01:58:45):
Thank for Tony the Higer file.

Speaker 6 (01:58:49):

love to do the weather.

Speaker 6 (01:59:15):
That's a pretty good Georgia there. It's real Sorry about
that bomb.

Speaker 43 (01:59:19):
Not at all.

Speaker 3 (01:59:19):
I'm in entertaining. Go right on, go do what you
do there, Terry.

Speaker 22 (01:59:24):
Maybe maybe if I put on a good Southern accent
and might make the weather a little more palatable. Oh
my goodness, we're still dealing with the rain folks through Friday.

Speaker 3 (01:59:35):
You know you know what I got, You know what

Speaker 24 (01:59:49):
That.

Speaker 36 (01:59:49):
I like that.

Speaker 19 (01:59:50):
She cracks me up.

Speaker 22 (01:59:53):
Okay, well, we do have some rain through Friday, and
we're seeing some rain right now, mainly south of Houston
near the co some heavy rain at spots. No flooding yet,
but we're watching because we've had way too much rain.
Sixty percent chance of showers and storms today, seventy percent tomorrow,
fifty percent chance on Friday, and then it's all gone
and the sunshine is warming us up over the weekend.

Speaker 3 (02:00:16):

Speaker 6 (02:00:55):
It's a struggle all over town.

Speaker 4 (02:00:57):
North Freeway starts from Greens all the way in twenty
four or minute loss here, Golf Freeway awful this morning.

Speaker 6 (02:01:02):
From Edgebrook all the way past waffle House.

Speaker 4 (02:01:05):
You're losing twenty two minutes here to eighty eight, just
pure suckage from aheart up to the south loop six
' ten. We still have the truck wreck on the
Southwest Freeway Hillcroft. That's a big pack up now, Sugar
Creek all the way, Advisor's Katie Freeway, the back door's
Grand Parkway clear.

Speaker 6 (02:01:23):
Southbound. That was a wreck at Fairmount Parkway.

Speaker 4 (02:01:25):
But the suckage it's pretty clear now from two twenty
five go ahead, stay the course there toll bridge, looking
at twelve extra minutes down southbound, Skymike in the classic
elite GMC traffic center.

fifty percent chance of rain, high around eighty eight. And
then Saturday and Sunday it's beautiful, sunny and high's in

(02:01:57):
the upper eighties. Right now, well on eighty at your
official severe weather station, news Radio seven forty kt RH
and now one more look at the headlines here Sharon and.

Speaker 7 (02:02:07):
Good morning everyone is seven fifty two on news radio
seven forty k t RHR. Headlines are sponsored by Texas
Mutual Insurance Rhino. Dade Feelin now has three challengers who
will run against him for the position of Texas House
Speaker in January. Hotel workers on strike in San Francisco, Seattle,
and Boston. That strike could expand. Are these hotels where

(02:02:30):
they're housing illegal aliens? New airport terminal in Tuscan. He's
going to have a vineyard on the roof. Lay loose
anytime at KTRH dot com. A good advertising. Our next
update will be at the top of the hour.

Speaker 6 (02:02:44):
I live in clear Lake, Humble, reliable KTRH traffic and weather.
Next on the ten.

Speaker 3 (02:02:51):
All right, so I want to share this It's about
two minutes and twenty seconds long. I shared it on
my social media. Let me promote that again. Follow me
on strict on us on Truth social Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
Just look for Strictly Speaking with Bob Frantz. There might
be variations on some of those because of availability. For example, Facebook,
it's Strictly Speaking USA. But find me there and you

(02:03:13):
can see this for yourself. But I'm going to play
it for the audience listening this morning. This is a
speech from a conservative pioneer in nineteen fifty eight by
the name of Robert Welch. He was a contemporary of
some of the most important conservative minds, honestly of the
twentieth century. And Robert Welch gave this speech about what

(02:03:36):
steps would be taken to destroy America. And you listen
to this for nineteen fifty eight and share. I'm telling
you you will think this could have been written last week.
Kid you not, because all of these steps are in
motion right now.

Speaker 44 (02:03:49):
Part of that plan, of course, is to induce the
gradual surrender of American sovereignty, piece by piece and step
by step to various Internet organizations, of which the United
Nations is the outstanding, but far from the only example.
A here of the eames for the United States. One

(02:04:12):
greatly expanded government spending for every conceivable means of getting
rid of ever larger sums of American money as wastefully
as possible. Two higher and then much higher taxes. Three
an increasingly unbalanced budget despite the higher taxes. Four wild

(02:04:37):
inflation of our currency. Five government controls of prices, wages,
and materials, supposedly to combat inflation. Six Greatly increased socialistic
controls over every operation of our economy and every activity
of our daily lives. This is to be accompanied naturally

(02:04:59):
and automatically by a correspondingly huge increase in the size
of our bureaucracy and in both the cost and reach
of our domestic government. Seven. Far more centralization of power
in Washington, and the practical elimination of our state lines.

Speaker 12 (02:05:19):
There is a.

Speaker 44 (02:05:19):
Manifaceted drive a way to have our state lines eventually
mean no more within the nation than our county lines
do now within the states. Eight. They steady advance of
federal aided to and control over our educational system, leading
to complete federalization of our public education. Nine. A constant

(02:05:43):
hammering into the American consciousness of the horror of modern warfare,
the beauties and the absolute necessity of peace, peace always
on communist terms, of course, and ten the consequent willingness
of the American people to allow the steps of appeasement
by all a government which amount to a piecemeal surrender

(02:06:07):
of the rest of the free world.

Speaker 3 (02:06:10):
That was from nineteen fifty eight. His name is Robert Welch.
I think at least eight of those are in play
right now, and if the Democrats win the White House
and the Congress in November, the entire thing will be completed.
So I want you to share that if you would
follow me again on social media. I'm posting that everywhere
I can at strictly speaking, and all of my handles.
Thank you everybody for listening this morning. I'm back again

(02:06:32):
for Jimmy tomorrow. Share We'll see you then. Have a
great time everyone,
