who did not like it when President Trump did not

and fifteen points for the Dow. Here's something else that

today in Sudi Arabia after the blow up at the
White House with Vladimir Zelenski, Trumps Special Envoy Steve Whitcoff

I think that was an important step.

Secretary of Saint Marco Rubio says if the talks go well,
Trump could resume giving aid to Ukraine. Also in the

talks in Cutter aimed at extending the ceasefire. Hamas still

Yesterday there was a massive cyber attack to try to
bring down the X system with IP addresses originating.

these DOGE cuts are great, but if they're not made permanent,
is it all worth it?

It's now five oh four. A plan to avoid a
partial government shutdown back by Trump is headed for a
vote in the House today and advanced along party lines
out of committee last night, and would keep the government
open until October. The question is whether Congress can actually
get it done by Friday's deadline. On Von Spakowski with
the Heritage Foundation believes they can.

I'm pretty confident Republicans can get this done by Friday.
There's no increase in spending, and this is a way
of making sure that the people who are trying to
cut out wasteful spending will continue to be able to
do their jobs.

He also says it's the Democrats that want a shutdown.
Five oh five. A major ice bust in Houston. Nearly
six hundred and fifty criminal ill legals were arrested as
part of a massive operation that took place between February

three days away from a government shutdown and it is
a big deal. And that's where we're going to start

this morning because the Democrats are absolutely begging for a shutdown.
What does a shutdown mean for the Democrats at this
particular moment in time. It means obviously an embarrassment for
the Trump administration and the Republicans controlled Congress. But you
know what else it means. It means to a shutdown
of deportations. It means a shutdown to doge digging out

the waste, fraud and abuse from within the federal government
that they are all screaming at multiple rallies to be
able to continue. Please don't stop our slush fund. Please
don't stop our gravy train. Please don't stop the mechanisms
by which there are money laundering system, the mechanisms by
which we get rich. That's just the reality of it.

(08:44):
They're desperate to stop it. And if the whole government stops,
that is a huge win for the Democrats. Now they're
going to continue, of course, to try to blame the
Republicans for any shutdown that does happen. But this is
exactly why it is crucial. And we've got a lot
of information this morning about what is in that six
month CR. That a continuing resolution that the Republicans have pushed,

and it does indeed include some changes. Usually a CR
meets it's a continuing resolution continuing the funding of the
government at its current level for six months to take
us to September. Generally speaking, most Republicans don't like crs.
Kevin McCarthy, the former Speaker of the House, was booted
essentially four continuing resolutions and not cutting spending. But this

particularly CR doesn't just continue spending the way that it is.
It actually adds a little bit of spending. So there's
a real real concern here We've got a lot of information,
and there's a real concern about whether or not the
past not only the House Thomas Massey, you just heard
Cliff say that in the newscast, is going to vote
against it, but it's going to take sixty votes in

the in the Senate to pass the legislative filibuster, and
Democrats are indicating they will not vote for it at all,
no matter what it is, They're not going to vote
for it because they want to shut down, As I said,
those very important elements of what the Trump administration is
doing right now. So we've got a big old problem
on our hands. Meantime, as you heard, the Dow dropped

down yesterday largely a big teriff fair fears, and of
course they did say that futures are off to or
you know, are kind of predicting a rally in a
rebound today. But still we are in a very very
precarious situation in the short term, and the question is
is how long will people be willing to ride it
out to get to the benefits of the long term.

So we're going to hit all of that this morning
as we get started on your Tuesday. It's the eleventh
morning of the third month in the ear of our Lord,
