(00:21):
cooler temperatures this week, though theyare going to be right around the seasonal
tempts for this time of year. His today up around sixty seven with sunny
skies. It stays up around seventythrough most of the week, though the
temps will go down a little biton Thursday and Friday. It's like a
pretty dry week overall as well. But Wednesday there is a chance for some
shower It's just a heads up forthe rest of the week here. Marylynd.
Leaders continue to find ways to supportthose impacted by the Key Bridge disaster.

(00:45):
The state has rolled out the Portof Baltimore Workers Support Program. This
will provide temporary cash assistance to workersthat lost income because of the collapse.
Those that qualify are like the hourlyand independent contractor type employees. Because they
lost their pay as soon as theport was shut down. On applications and
more information can be found online atthe Maryland Department of Labor website if you're
interested or if you feel like you'resomeone that qualifies for that and opening statements

(01:08):
in the former president's criminal hush moneytrial are just hours away. The judge
has ruled that prosecutors do not haveto give advanced notice of the witness list
to his legal team, saying theformer president cannot be trusted not to post
about them through efforts to intimidate thewitnesses and to add threats to their lives.
Though we do know that the magazinepublisher David Pecker is said to be
the first witness here. According toreports, Pecker is expecting to testify about

(01:30):
conversations he had with the former presidentabout the hunch money payments. Pecker was
the publisher of the National Inquirer intwenty sixteen when all this happened. Had
he admitted to running a catch andkill plan in order to help Trump in
the election. So we'll see howthat goes down later today. That's your
news update, all right, Bethany, on your brief What do you have
coming up. All right, somethingthat made my little nineties heart go pitter
petter happened this weekend. All right, find out more. Here's Hardy Truck

(01:57):
that it's Tim McGrath and it's sixeleven. To keep us in the loop
of entertainment and pop culture and thethings we shouldn't care about but somehow we
really do. Eath Bethany Bree onninety three point one WOC. Kim Kardashian,
of course, has made Calabasas famous, and now she's the executive producer

(02:20):
of a new teen drama series forNetflix, all about the affluent city Calabasas.
Will show the story of a shelteredgirl from the Midwest who navigates the
fast paced world of Calabasas High.School's supposed to give you like OC vibes.
I think it has potential. She'sexecutive producing with Emma Roberts, and

(02:43):
The Pretty Little Liar's co creators arebehind it, so could be good.
Victoria Beckham celebated her fiftieth birthday onSaturday night. Her husband David was there
and tons of famous friends Tom Cruise, Mark Anthony, Ave Longoria and Ramsey
and his wife Jason Statham and hiswife, Rosy Huntington Whitely, and then

(03:06):
the four original members of The SpiceGirls That's right did a special singing and
dancing reunion of their hit song StopAnd it's really cute and I love that
they're still friends. I think it'sso sweet. But a drama on the
Beckham front because David Beckham is suingMark Wahlberg's fitness company F forty five for

(03:29):
ten million dollars. I guess hewas behind the brand ambassador situation for F
forty five and he didn't get anymoney. Terrell Owens also sued them in
twenty seventeen, so it's as ifthey're not making good on their on their
promises. I didn't realize Wahlberg ownedthat. I didn't either. He well,
he only has thirty six percent still, but yeah, he's one of

(03:52):
the and he's the chief brand officer, so I didn't realize he was behind
it either. I have a friendwho works out there. She likes it.
This one right neighborhood. Yeah, all right. And lastly, the
stars of the Blair Witch Project aredemanding more compensation for their work on the
blockbuster hit movie I get you know, this is my so long right ago.

(04:13):
Well, why now it's interesting thatthey just renounced the revival last week
and now the three stars are saying, oh hey, wait a minute,
we want we want to be involved. Yeah, they only made three hundred
thousand dollars when the franchise got boughtout, and that deal was worth two
hundred and forty eight million. Ohmy gosh, So I get it.

(04:34):
I get that was one of thosethings that like nobody knew was going to
really be that big. So ofcourse they didn't make any money, you
know, you wasn't it shot oncamp quarters like so like, of course
they're not going to get paid onthe front end of that, so they
need to get paid on the backend. I don't know, glad,
I don't have to figure it out. So there you go. That's what
I've got for you. All right, single SmackDown. We will unveil that

(04:57):
here in just a minute. Thecompetition begins and we we have a sunny
day today. Temperatures are going tobe in the upper sixties worth thirty seven.
Now today's best Country. That's NateSmith on ninety three point one w
POC. It is six twenty eightshow. Yeah, so Taylor Swift had

(05:21):
the big album release on Friday,so I'm kind of in the Taylor Swift
mood. Today's seam is going tobe Taylor Country era Taylor, So we're
going to throw it back a fewyears. We each have our Taylor Swift
song picked. Who wants to start? Ah had Bethany. I think I'm
gonna go with better Man. Okay, that's so good. I love right
little little big town mashup. Theyjust had their twenty fifth anniversary as a

(05:44):
band, So that's a good ideay song written by Taylor for a little
big town. That one came tomy mind too. I went with fifteen
okay, because I just loved thepicture she paints in that song about what
it's like to be back in schoolwhen you're f fifteen years old, and
I that was it captured me alittle bit. So yeah, I'll go
with fifteen. Okay, I'm gonnago with Picture to Burn. I'm gonna

(06:06):
throw it back to the first TaylorSwift album. I just always loved like
the vibe and the energy of that, and I think it was like a
like a thing when I first gotinto country music too, Like that was
like one of her big songs whenI first walked in the door, and
I just always have had an appreciationfor that. That's your time period of
her life popped up on a fewof your singles. Story I like the
teenage, just like the teenage SaaSof Taylor swec Yeah, I'm down for

(06:29):
that. So Picture to Burn ismy pick. If you want to vote,
you can do it on Instagram atWPOC. You can also text us
Bethany hit it up with that ohyeah seven seven nine six' two.
Begin your message with high or hey, and you can just you can vote,
you can say hello, you canjust you know, reach out to
us. Yeah, okay, wewant to know. And you can call
us too if you want. Eighthundred and three two one thirty six ninety

(06:51):
three is always an option. Wecan take those little votes down. So
I saw the other day people werecalling this background noise shows when you're watching
TV and you're not really watching it, but you like it on in the
background when you're doing something else.So I know, Saint Pierre, you
love to listen to music while you'redoing other stuff. To me, it

(07:12):
depends on what I'm doing. IfI want music in the background, But
what's your background show, you one. So many shows become background shows.
I have such a hard time justsitting down to watch TV shows that I
end up rewatching a lot of oldthings just because. But I'd say probably,
if I had to pick one,it would be Scrubs. Like I
probably go through the entire series ofScrubs every six months or so. Really,

(07:34):
yeah, I love, love, love that show and I never get
tired of this. What is itabout it that you like? I think
the I think it's very well written. I think the humor is good.
I mean, it's kind of hitsand misses here and there, but like
I love I think I love therelationship with the people of the cast,
Like I love that they're actually friendsin real life, and I think I
think that comes through in their characterson the screen too, because it doesn't

(07:58):
feel forced. To me. Itjust feels like nasally goofy, Like I
get it, like it's it's agoofy written show, but at the same
time, it feels like natural goofinessin there. I don't know, Bethanie,
what's your background kind of noise TVshow? I have to go with
the opposite of what Saint Pierre said. I can't put something on in the
background because I will park my cotukisright in front of the TV and I

(08:22):
will watch. So like I overthe weekend, I tried to put a
show on in the background and cleanmy closet, and the next thing you
know, I'm sitting at the edgeof the bed and just ball golf.
Yes, I was just like,I was like, come on, like,
I didn't get my I had clothesin my hand and I sat down
on the bed. Did you everfinish putting him away? No? No,

(08:43):
So I can't put a show onin the background. That's pretty funny.
I think probably I would say Lawand Order would be a good okay,
okay, because I can do otherthings when that's in the background.
There is something strangely comforting about thatshow to me. I don't know what
it is, but I can kindof mindlessly have that on in the background

(09:05):
and I'll worry about what it is. So I will put it up on
our Facebook. I'm kind of curiouswhat other people think. Do you have
a show? A lot of peopleit's cooking shows that came up, a
lot home improvement shows that came up. It shows you don't really feel like
you if you walk away, talkaway. Yeah, my husband would say
the news, but we'll we'll putthat on Facebook here and see what people

(09:31):
say. Okay, And if youwant to text us with your thoughts seven
nine six' two, just startwith higher hay and let us know what
your background noise TV show is.Maybe you don't have one. If you're
like Bethany, I can't get anythingdone, do it irresponsible? Tyler Hover,

(09:52):
it's Jason Held ninety three point oneWPOC background noise TV shows. Somebody
said Friends, and someone said TheOffice. I think yeah, shows like
that that you probably can quote andyou've seen a million times if you don't
need to watch it to know exactlywhat's going on, like, you've got
the mental picture of exactly what's happeningon you. You know when they're really

(10:13):
funny moments come or whatever and thenyou pay attention or yeah. Somebody untext
said hsn oh yeah, yeah,I see where people go with that.
Somebody said, Laurie, thank youfor validating me law and order. Yes,
there's just something about all right, you're also doing great, you're winning.

(10:35):
I'm on text. So much goingon in this tale. It's Thompson
Square six minutes before seven o'clock. Now it's Nashville News Now with St.
Pierre on ninety three point one WPOCall congratulations, just the Sam Hunt and
his team. His song Outskirts isthe number one song in the country this

(10:56):
week. Rounding out the top threeinclude Tyler Hubbards Back Then Right Now at
number two, and Jordan Davis's TucsonToo Late coming in at number three.
We're sending some love to newcomer AnnieBosco. She took to her social media
yesterday covered in bandages and apologized tofans for having to cancel a show over
the weekend. She said she endedup having an accident with her instapot that

(11:16):
sent her to the hospital. Shegot second degree burns on her stomach,
her arms, and her chest. There were parts of her body that you
could see were clearly burned, andshe's that makes much worse underneath the bandages,
you know, like the steam.I don't know. She didn't go
into details about what the actual incidentwas. She just referenced an incident with
the instapot, So I have noidea. Yeah, yeah, but it
sounds like she's in good spirits. She definitely had a smile on her face,

(11:39):
and she's trying to push through it. She did say she's got some
shows coming up. I don't believeany of those are in our area,
but she's got some shows coming upthat she is going to do her best
to be a part of because shehates canceling. But I think fans would
certainly understood if she did have tocancel given the situation. So we're just
wishing that she's got a quick recoveryhere as she goes through that. And
Scotty McCreery had a great weekend ashe became the newest member of the Great

(12:00):
Old Opry. During a ceremony heldon Saturday, Josh Turner officially inducted Scotty.
He's had a long appreciation for Josh, even saying Josh's music during his
run to winning American Sound Yeah,Yeah, I think that's what Scotty.
Scotty always liked him because it waslike, here's a guy that kind of
has my voice, like it soundslike me, so I can do songs
like this. Josh got emotional duringhis speech, saying Scotty is not only
a fine singer and songwriter, buthe's a great man. Husband and now

(12:24):
father. I'm proud of them, and I'm proud that he is filling the
shoes of the artist before him.Scotty accepted the honor, saying, if
you've listened to any of my interviewsover the last fifteen years, they'd say,
what is your biggest goal? AndI'd always say, one day I
want to be a member of thegrand Ole Opry. I got to go
home and start writing a new bucketlist, So good luck to Scotty for
that. Randy Travis was also onhand for the ceremony. Scotty performed a

(12:46):
version of Three Wooden Crosses in anod to Randy while they were there.
But just a big weekend, Imean good enough to be the same?
Wow? Yeah, how about that? Yeah, special night. I was
a wish granted. Yes, adream come true. It's Jelly Rowl Lady
Wilson in Save Me A ninety threepoint one double GPOC, Some Bad Live

(13:13):
It, Today's Best Country ninety threepoint one w POC, Baltimore Now Top
Stories at the top of the Hour, Oriol Starter Cole Irvin had a great
day in Kansas City as the Eoswent on to a shutout victory over the
Royals. Baltimore took two out ofthree over the weekend. Now they had
West to take on the Angels.First game of that series starts tonight at
nine thirty eight, so it's alate one. One of the biggest news

(13:35):
stories of the weekend was Taylor Swift'snew album. It sold one point four
million copies on Friday alone. Albumsjust don't sell that much anymore, or
really ever in one day. Reviewshave been mixed, but that hasn't slowed
the love from the fans. It'sTaylor's biggest debut of her career, and
again that's just the numbers from oneday. In one day of sales,
the Torture Post Department came in atseventh on the list of biggest first week

(13:58):
sales, so we'll see where shelands at the end of the week.
She may have then moved up afew spots by the time we get to
the end. The albums ahead ofher on that list are all really from
the early two thousands. They includerecords from in Sync, Eminem and The
Backstreet Boys. The top selling albumfor first week sales was Adele's twenty fifteen
album twenty five, that had threepoint three million in first week sales.

(14:18):
So again, Taylor is starting itoff in one day of one point four
million, so we'll see where shecomes in after a week. Could be
a good time to mention the singleSmack. That's right, Taylor Swift singles
backdown today. You can vote onour Instagram at WPOC. You can also
text us if you want to votefor my song, which I think you
do. You can text us atseven seven nine to six to two.
You can vote for a Picture toBurn, Yes it's or you could vote

(14:39):
for better Man, which is Bethany's, or you could vote for fifteen.
You can vote Freddy them, butyou do want to vote for Picture to
Burn. So far it seems theydon't want to vote. But Bethany,
I'm just saying Laurie. It seemsLaurie's gotten her whole family to text in
today. The kids are just I'mstarting to wake up and they're going to

(15:01):
want a Picture to burn. Somebodyliterally texted, hey, I vote for
what LORI votes for. There yougo. You've got your dedicated following.
They've never heard of Taylor Swift andjust voting for whatever you like really quick.
I know we got derailed there fora second, but the House representatives
moved on the Foreign aid package onSaturday. The ninety five billion dollar package

(15:22):
includes sending money to Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. Also included was the
much discussed bill to effectively banned TikTokhere in the US. The plan to
ban TikTok didn't have much support fromthe Senate, so representatives worked it into
the aid package to force lawmakers todiscuss it. The bill moves onto the
Senate, but it's unclear what willhappen there because senators will need to approve
all of the bill or none ofit, so we'll see what they do
when it gets to their desk. Here, the Senate has been clear that

(15:45):
it wants to send money overseas, but that addition of the TikTok band creates
a potential roadblock here, so againwe'll have to wait and see what happens.
That's a new update, all right, Dan and Shaye Jiffy Lube Live,
August third. If you'd like togo, we'd love to send you.
We have a pair of tickets.Caller nine yours eight hundred and three
two one thirty six ninety three. Here's Morgan Wall and I'm thinking about me.

(16:18):
It's Thomas Threat with Morgan walland ninetythree point one WPOC. We were
talking about differences in your overall healthsince COVID. Have you felt less healthy
than maybe you were before that allhappened. Stephanie said, personally she doesn't,
but she works for a pulmonary doctor. She said, we see a
lot of people coming in that saythey never recovered fully. So yeah,

(16:42):
I'm not surprised by I always wonderedtoo, Like I'm not questioning anybody about
the way they feel sure with theirbody, but I wonder like, did
you have the issues before and maybeCOVID exasperated them and made like it brought
them to light, you know, like I don't know, are you are
you sicker now because you had COVIDor was COVID a part of everything else?
Yeah? You get into your immunesystem already weak and COVID came in

(17:03):
and made it a we can evenmore. That's what I think. I
think it hit people's immune systems harderwith some folks than others. And it
could have been related to if you'dhad the vaccine, or what your age
is, all of those things.I don't know, and I think it's
going to be years before maybe wedo. But we're going to talk now
about just making friends as you getolder. Why that's speaking of getting older?

(17:26):
Why it's harder as you get older? And do you agree that it
is, Bethany, So I have. I've been thinking about this a lot
lately, in high school and incollege and even in like work life.
You know, as you get outof college, like you're kind of forced
into these communities mm hmm. Andlike natural friendships kind of just like evolve

(17:47):
and and begin. But once youget to a certain age, and I
think it sometimes happens when you havekids. Maybe not, I don't I
don't know what happens, but itbecomes like awkward to make new friends and
it becomes like kind of tricky.Unless I'm the only one that feels like
that. Well, I actually thinkwhen you have kids, to start out
anyway, you're in more communities becausenow you're in a community of the kids'

(18:11):
school and then the parents of kidsthere. So I don't know, though,
what I don't know. I don'tthink it's that easy to find mom
friends, okay, or dad.I don't know. Well, the Saint
Pierre, you've got a three yearold, did you find you got into
more community as you I think it'seasier when they're younger. Yeah, I
mean, I mean, my daughter'svery young still, but I can picture

(18:33):
like my own experience growing up,like in high school, junior high or
whatever, like there weren't events thatparents went to, Like my parents didn't
go to things, you know,So I don't know if there's quite as
many things that you're getting involved inwhen the schools are bigger, the classes
are bigger. I also think parentsare much more attentive now as fire stuff
like that than they were, Likemy parents didn't go to stuff either,

(18:53):
But I feel like parents are veryinvolved in their kids even though though Okay,
use this as an example. Sosay you go to the gymnastics class
every Saturday. You see the parentlike, Hi, okay, that's it.
Yeah, I mean, like, and I'll use this as an example.
Over the weekend, I went andhung out at one of my client's

(19:15):
house. I'm a realtor, soi sold them their house. I like
them a lot, and I'm like, do you guys will hang out?
Like it's so awkward. I'm like, do you want to be friends outside.
It does sound weird when you're anadult. Even what did they say.
Of course, they were like, yeah, let's hang out. Oh
my gosh. Let's like they wouldinvite me over, they had cheeseboard,

(19:37):
it was the whole deal. Butof course, you know, because because
I would argue, if you're feelinglike you want to be friends with someone,
probably they're feeling it too. It'ssort of like dating in a weird
way. Yes, so, andI think people are just afraid to ask,
like do you want to hang out? Yeause they feel weird about it.
Yeah, my daughter said that toher wedding planner when they were done

(19:57):
the wedding. Well, the weddingplanner actually started crying when they were saying
goodbye, and she goes, Ifeel like, you guys are my good
friends and now we're not gonna Andmy daughter's like, no, no,
we'll stay in touch, right,But then but then life happens and you
know, so you yeah, andlike, so, I just think it
becomes difficult to make friends. AndI just wondered if I was the only

(20:18):
one out here being awkward, orif any other people. Oh, I
think it does feel awkward as anadult to try to make that new connection.
Oh sure, yeah, it's it'snot like when you were a kid.
It's not. And I'm not sayingit's easy for kids either to make
a new friend. That's sure tobut it does seem stranger as you get
You're just putting in a situations moreas a kid, where like it's natural

(20:41):
to make a friend, like, yeah, you're on a team with someone,
you're working on a project with someone, You're put into a dorm room
with someone, whatever the situation is, like you're putting this tea. Yeah,
but like you know, even goingto like your your kid's gymnastics class
or whatever, like half the parentsare probably on their phones, you know,
Like so it is tough. Likeit's just different to try to break
into that. Yeah yeah, allright, well you want to be my

(21:03):
friend? Wear a T shirt lookingfor friends for anyone? So I did
put it up on our Facebook. Why is it harder to make friends as
you get older? Maybe somebody willargue that it isn't for them and they've
got some trick or something to makeit easier. But if you want,
you can also text us seven sevennine six two. Just start with high

(21:25):
or hey and tell us how youfeel. There's Brett Eldridge and want to
be that song. I'm ninety threepoint one WPOC Radio. Want to Sundry
make them It's Kenny Chesney ninety threepoint one WPO. See. Let's go

(21:48):
to the phone real quick. Hi, good morning. Who's this Hey,
Jamie? How's the Monday morning goingfor you? Do you get a little
blue on Monday morning? Or youup and adam and ready to go a
little blue? It was a littlebit of bad news this morning. But
I'm sorry. I'm sorry about thebad news. I don't want to pry.

(22:08):
Is it something you want to tellus or you want to keep it
to yourself? Oh? I'm sosorry. That is the hardest. It's
the worst. I'm so sorry. And how old was your doggie? Ted?
Yeah? Well a good life,A big dog, so not really

(22:30):
big? Okay, all right,Well let me cheer you up just a
little bit. I have some concerttickets you've won, Dan and Cher coming
to Jiffy Loube Live August third. You'll be there. Yayyay, that makes
it better. I'm so sorry. What was your dog's name? By the
way, Well, Archie rest inpeace? Thank you? Yeah? It
was kind of lungs. They thoughtit was a heart problem, but they

(22:52):
want issues with the lungs. Sothat's a sad way to start your week.
I'll tell you that I'm glad wecould at least give her something to
cheer up. Coming up, we'regoing to talk about your health. Do
you feel like your health has beenworse since the whole COVID thing? Do
you notice any difference from pre COVIDto post we'll talk about that next.

(23:12):
We've got a sunny day. Itreally is lovely out. It's cold this
morning, but temperatures are going toend up in the upper sixties. We're
at thirty nine right now. Today'sbest country. It's worn zeids ninety three
point one WPOC. Let's talk aboutour health. Can we focus minic guys?

(23:33):
So I know that we're going tobe studying and finding out the effects
of COVID for a long time tocome, and that there are no big
answers right now. But I gotinto a few conversations a couple weeks ago
with some folks during my daughter's wedding. My older sister was just saying,
how you know her health and particularlyher husband's health never really recovered after they

(23:56):
had COVID, and he has neverbeen healthy since he went through. He's
just gotten a lot of viruses. He's gotten sick a lot. They found
out recently he's got my low maloma. I hope I'm saying that right.
It's a cancer, which I'm notblaming COVID and tying those two things together,

(24:17):
but I do think her point wasthat since he was sick with COVID
years ago, he's just his systemhas never really recovered fully and he's never
been the healthy guy that he alwayswas. And then over this about a
week ago, My remember when mycousin, who was like in her fifties,

(24:38):
was on the ventilator and they didn'tknow that she was going to survive
COVID. All right, she's backin the er fighting for her life.
She's got some type of pancreatitis anda very severe infection and they're struggling.
They had to put her back ona ventilator, and I just started thinking
about it. I wonder if theaverage person would say that there health has

(25:00):
been worse since the COVID situation,or have you noticed any difference at all
that any do you mean specifically, like if you had COVID or do you
just mean like in general, Ithink since you if you had it,
if you ever had COVID, haveyou noticed that since then your health has
just been different. Well, theonly time I had it, thankfully,

(25:21):
was just this past Christmas, whichis crazy that you made up that far.
I mean that I know of youknow how like sometimes people had it
and they and you didn't know.I have. But I mean based on
how it was when I had it, I probably would have known. Yeah.
Yeah, no, but I've beenI mean nothing so to speak,
you know since then, nothing dramatic. I wonder if it has to do
too with how old you were whenyou got it, if that affected your

(25:45):
immune system more? Yeah maybe?Or have you been if you were vaccinated
before or not or not? Yeah? Yeah, my cousin was not,
so I know that. Uh,save Pierre, do you notice any difference.
I know you had COVID more thanonce. Yeah, yeah, no,
just want time. Yeah, wehad it once a couple of years
ago, twice. I think Ican't say that I have. I mean,
I think overall it's tough. It'sreally tough to tell because I've had

(26:07):
a lot of life changes in fouryears we had a child. So obviously
I'm not getting as much sleep nowas I was maybe before I had and
kids are little Petri dishes, andkids are Petri dishes. I feel like
I'm also four years older. Icrossed the forty year old threshold, so
like, yeah, my back home. It's all. I just I just
feel like there are the things thatI would complain about are things that I

(26:29):
think are naturally happening at this age. Like I think overall, I'm better
in a lot of ways, LikeI think like mentally and all this,
I think I'm much better now thanI was four years ago. So I
can't really you can't really add intome. I can't add to that at
all. I'm just curious if anybodywants to weigh in on that. I
just know that there are some folksthat would say they've just never felt quite

(26:49):
back to normal since that time.So I feel like mental health, like,
yeah, I think yees has beenworse. I am the complete opposite,
like one hundred and ten percent, like flip the script, like pre
pandemic post pandemic, I am somuch better mental health wise. That's really
interesting, And what do you attributeit to? I think there's a lot

(27:11):
of stress and a lot of pressurethat was that I was feeling pre pandemic
that I think the pandemic shifted alot of people in the office longer.
Well, yeah, I mean Ithink like work in general, I think
a lot of people shifted the waythey viewed things. Like there was a
time in this office where I wasliterally told by bosses I was not allowed
to take sick days, Like Iwas told from people that were higher up

(27:32):
than me in this office, Iwas not allowed to take any sick And
now it's like, hey, ifyou're sick, do what you gotta do.
You know, I think that's abig, huge burden off of people,
like knowing that, like you havesupport from people around you, and
I know not everybody's in the samesituation. And there were definitely things in
my life that shifted that have allowedme to be much better off. No
one should have ever said that toyou. And the truth is you could

(27:52):
have taken sick days. You werecertainly allowed to. I don't know,
but like there are times where you, like when your boss tells me about
you get worried about it. You'relike, wait, moment, yeah,
I know what you're saying like it'sreally like it was like a shame thing,
right, right. It never shouldhave been said, even in joking
or whatever. It never never shouldhave been said. All right, we'll
throw it out there. You cantext us if you have thoughts seven seven

(28:15):
nine six y two, just startwith high or hey, you're always welcome
to call eight hundred three two onethirty six ninety three. I think I'll
put it up on Facebook two justin case you want to talk about that.
There, it's Cody and Johnson threepoint one. We've got Ashley on

(28:37):
the phone. You were talking aboutthis same Pierre that before COVID. You
ares made it feel guilty if youhad to take a day off for being
sick, Ashley. That was atyour job too. Not at my new
job, no, but my pastjob. It was there was only five
of us manager quote. Anytime anybodywas thick, it was almost we could
have to fight it and come inbecause there was nobody ever. It would

(29:00):
make you feel horrible when you hadto call out like oh well now without
a person and it's just like okay, yeah sick, right exactly. It's
that guilt that was laid on you. Yeah, that's the worst it is.
Yeah, and it was even morestressful, and it made it ten
times worse, and then you justfelt like a horrible perking right, And
there's no reason you should have everfelt like you were a horrible person because

(29:23):
you were just sick exactly. It'sjust like, I don't know what you
want for me. Yeah, itreally did change things. Then they were
sending out emails after COVID if youdon't feel well, stay home, which
kind of should have always been there, should have always open it here.
I think it's going back, though, I think in some ways, I

(29:45):
think it's a little bit. Imean, I think people aren't as conscious
about all of it because it wasso on our face there for a while.
But I don't know that we'll hopefullyever go back to where people should
just not be off. I mean, it should never be that. Yeah,
