Speaker 1 (00:02):
What's up, everybody?
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Welcome to another episode of Bachelor Happy Hour. Got my
girl back here my new co host.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
We're very happy right now.
Speaker 2 (00:11):
We are happy because I feel like the people have
been asking right. We may have heard from him just
a little bit on the podcast. He called from a distance,
but we have him in studio today. Would you like
to tell them who him is?
Speaker 4 (00:24):
We have him in the flesh everybody, and we know
that he's taken time out of probably the busiest schedule
of his life. But we needed to hear from the
man himself. So of course we have Bachelor Peter. What
did your mom call you?
Speaker 3 (00:39):
Bude?
Speaker 2 (00:40):
Oh, Bud, We got Bud whenever you want to call him.
Speaker 4 (00:43):
He is here with us today, and we are so
excited because you know, everyone and their moms have been
talking about Night one, all of the girls, all of
the drama that went down. So we're going to hear
from him. We have a million questions, but we have
to hear it from the man himself. Yeah, so thank
you Peter for being here.
Speaker 5 (01:02):
Thank you guys, yeah so much.
Speaker 6 (01:04):
We're ready to start well, and I feel like we've
been catching up a little bit behind the scenes, so
I'm sorry you didn't get at all, But we have
so much to cover, a lot that we unfortunately cannot.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
Get to today because I'm going there.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
We're getting there before, We're getting podcast.
Speaker 5 (01:25):
For dinner.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
Well, we've been just waiting for you to come back
to us, right like you finished your season. You've been
in the sky. We've been waiting for you to come
back here. So we can not grill you, but just
question you. We've kind of feel like two big sisters.
Speaker 1 (01:39):
Because we've gone through this before.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Yeah, and we know what it's like. This this time
is so exciting but so scary.
Speaker 4 (01:46):
It's a very weird phase this time. I mean, your
life is literally going to change. It's going to be
rocked upside down.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
You I can't.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
I mean, we can tell you from experience what to expect,
but it's going to be so different for you. And
this is the time when it's exciting and the show's
just starting, and you probably can't wait to share with
the world everything that happens, but you can't.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
You have to stay silent.
Speaker 4 (02:10):
So I will say this is probably you should hopefully
enjoy this time because it's about.
Speaker 3 (02:15):
To get crazy, get pretty crazy. You need your you time.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
I mean, I know from experience, I just wanted to
hold up and be with my family and at that,
you know.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
At my point with Garrett.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
So we're hoping, fingers crossed you have some special to
share this quiet time with.
Speaker 1 (02:31):
Until the finale.
Speaker 5 (02:32):
Yeah. Now I'm excited for you guys all to see it.
It was, honestly is the two most amazing months, insane months,
hardest months of my life. But so happy you fell me.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
Happy you do you do? I feel like you're always smiling.
Speaker 5 (02:45):
I am, I'm always happy. Writer.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
Give me your top three words to describe your overall experience.
Speaker 5 (02:59):
Top three words, let's see here. I'd say surprising, emotional,
and love.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
Oh it was not a little positive words. What else
do we expect?
Speaker 3 (03:22):
So exhausting, I.
Speaker 5 (03:24):
Like exhausting, but it was so worth it.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
So coming in, I mean, it's it's such an exciting time,
you know, to find out that.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
You're the Bachelor.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
It's it's huge, and you're you're humbled, you're honored, you're scared,
you kind of don't know what to do with yourself
because it's such a surreal experience. But coming in, what
was your biggest fear to start this whole thing?
Speaker 5 (03:48):
Yeah. I So I was obviously just extremely humbled to
have this opportunity. And I just remember when I actually
found out that it was going to happen, just all
this excitement just completely just over was overflown with excited
and then just in my head trying to have all
these expectations of what it was going to go like
and if this was gonna work. And I always knew
it was gonna work. I had that mindset going into it.
(04:09):
Just that's the way I've always been. But I think
I my biggest fear about it was possibly just falling
for someone that, for whatever reason, wasn't into it. For that,
that's obviously that exact reason that I was, or it
didn't fall for me as strong as I fell for them,
because when I was gonna do this and I decided
to do it, I was gonna give everything to it.
(04:32):
And I remember that first night, you know, with all
ladies in that first toast, like that's what I told them,
and I said, you know, I know this works, believe me.
Like I just finished, you know, an amazing journeys. It
didn't work for me the way I wanted it to.
But I'm here to tell you one hundred percent works
if you give yourself to this. And I just asked
for you to do that right now tonight, make a
promise yourselves and to me that you're gonna do that,
because I'm gonna give you everything. And I guess my
(04:54):
biggest fear was maybe that I ended up with someone
that didn't do that.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
But I would say, it's a you know, it's like,
didn't you have that fear because you know, you know
you you know what you're giving, but you're kind of
in a room full of strangers, beautiful strangers, I might add,
but you don't know if their intentions are the same,
and it's so scary and you're alone. You know, you
can't phone a friend, phone family, you can't do a
Google search, background search.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
You really just have to trust your gut.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Yeah, absolutely, Yeah, And you know you went through hand
a season. You lived with however many guys, and you
saw first hands. Some guys were there quote unquote for
the right reasons and some guys who weren't. And of
course I'm sure you knew some women were going to
be the same, like some would be there for you,
some probably necessarily wouldn't.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
So it's it's a very.
Speaker 4 (05:42):
Scary thing, giving all of yourself to something and just
like hoping for the best, but you have no idea
what to expect because you don't know these women yet.
Speaker 5 (05:51):
No, you don't. That's a very real fear. And on
top of that, as the as the season went on,
you know, obviously stuff invitably comes up and you hear stuff.
You know, certain people start talking about certain people. But
one thing that I didn't necessarily realize was going to
be so hard being on this side of it is,
you know, obviously you're not in the house and you're
(06:12):
not with them every day when the cameras are rolling.
When they're not rolling, you only see that person putting
their best foot forward and their's you know, their best face,
and telling you pretty much what you want to hear,
especially in the beginning before you really get to know them.
And then stuff started coming up, and that was one
of my biggest struggles, having to deal with how to
kind of like weed through that and who I could
truly trust and who I couldn't. And I'm hearing one
(06:34):
thing from one person and the exact opposite from the
other person, and I'm not in the house actually do
my own due diligence and own kind of like just
feeling it out. That was very difficult for me.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
How did that make you feel when people would come
up to you and tell you what was going on.
Speaker 1 (06:48):
In the house.
Speaker 5 (06:49):
Yeah, I absolutely hate.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
To complain to you.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
It's like, you've got a few minutes with me. Can
we make the most of it?
Speaker 5 (06:55):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (06:55):
I know that.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
I could not stand that, And I will say, so,
there's there's so much you don't see being the lead.
I mean, you're only going off of what people are
telling you or what other people are telling you about
someone else.
Speaker 5 (07:08):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
Right, And I will warn you, even watching your season back,
you're going to see so much more.
Speaker 3 (07:13):
That you missed.
Speaker 5 (07:14):
I had no idea was even going on.
Speaker 1 (07:15):
Yeah, totally.
Speaker 4 (07:15):
And it's like, yeah, sure, somebody will mention something here
and there, but you'll watch it back and you'll be like,
oh my gosh, I wish I would have known this
sooner or how did I miss this? And that was
one of the things for me personally watching the season back,
I loved it and I hated it at the same time,
because there was a lot of funny parts that I
was like, dang it, I missed that.
Speaker 1 (07:33):
And then there are parts.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
Where like I was like, shoot, I wish I would
have known that like three weeks prior to this. So
it'll be you know, as much as you lived your
side of things, it's going to be very eye opening
watching the next couple weeks go on, because I will say,
going into whenever you have your women tell all, you'll
have some new points to probably about.
Speaker 5 (07:54):
Yeah, sure, I will for sure.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
So that first night happens, and which I think is
one of the most fun nights, right, Like you never
know who's gonna pop out of the little or whatever
or whatever they come out of. You get to meet
all these new people, feel all this new energy and
they're there for you and it's exciting and it's wild
that there's nothing like that night but the Rose ceremony,
your first row ceremony.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
You're on the other side. You see the.
Speaker 2 (08:19):
Secrets behind the stars of how everything is laid out
and how you call names.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
All that the road and the POSD.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Yeah, you get it all and it's like, oh, this
is what it's like. You're finally on the other side
and you see back rooms in the mansion that you've
never seen before.
Speaker 1 (08:38):
Now I'm forgetting my question.
Speaker 4 (08:43):
Going into the roast ceremony. Was that oh sorry, no, no,
go ahead, go ah. I was gonna say it was
that the first night. Was that what you were most
nervous about? Or were you more nervous to meet the girls,
to have the conversations, to get to know them, to
kind of see the ins and the outs of how
it's all run, Like, what was the part that was
most nerve wracking and that stood out the most.
Speaker 5 (09:00):
I definitely had a fear of letting go of someone
that first night that I really could have clicked with
and like it could have just been fireworks with because
obviously you only get yes. First impressions are huge, and
then you know, you get maybe a ten to fifteen
minute conversation and you have to really kind of be
sold on that person to at least give them a
(09:20):
chance to really get to know them, you know, in
that quick bit of time. That was a fear. I remember,
like leaving that first night or I guess morning because
it goes so late, just really hoping, shoot, I hope
I didn't let go of anyone that you know, really
could been my person.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
So did you go off of gut instinct?
Speaker 5 (09:38):
Then I did? Yeah, And I and I trusted myself
that first night, just like I did the whole time,
and I felt good about my decisions.
Speaker 2 (09:46):
But you know, I thought sending people home the first
night was the easiest thing because I was like, I
don't know you, but you didn't.
Speaker 5 (09:50):
I didn't think you didn't wonder maybe.
Speaker 1 (09:52):
What if there were too many other people there?
Speaker 5 (09:54):
You can? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (09:55):
So it after that it became extremely hard because I
had more conversations.
Speaker 1 (09:59):
But I do want to know.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
And and Becca chimes, I don't even think I'm ask you
this question either, but they come out there for you.
Did you think you already knew who you wanted or like,
who was your top person?
Speaker 4 (10:12):
Ye?
Speaker 1 (10:13):
Same? Did you think that I had?
Speaker 4 (10:16):
I will say I wrote in my journal that night,
and I had three or four guys.
Speaker 2 (10:22):
That I wrote, Oh, when you just met them out
the limo? Did you already kind of have it?
Speaker 5 (10:26):
Not?
Speaker 1 (10:26):
I'm talking before any conversations.
Speaker 5 (10:29):
Oh, because I'm going the door, they're just walking towards you.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
Yes before yes, Okay, No, I didn't.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
I literally blacked out that entire time.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
I blacked out, but I didn't black out on the
one that I was really into.
Speaker 4 (10:42):
Let me take my inswer brect because well, I will
say this, because Garrett stood out because he didn't come
out of a limo.
Speaker 1 (10:48):
He came out of a mini van and he.
Speaker 4 (10:49):
Was just like wild and crazy, So he did stick out.
And then he's one of the guys that going into
that night I wanted to talk to. I was excited
to see again, and then I just liked to more
after that.
Speaker 2 (10:59):
Did you give him your first impression room?
Speaker 1 (11:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:01):
One thing for first Nights that I personally got a
lot of flak for was sending Joe home Grocery Store Joe.
Speaker 5 (11:10):
I heard about that.
Speaker 1 (11:13):
Okay, I have my reasons.
Speaker 5 (11:15):
He's a great guy, but since see, that's why I
kind of had a fear right there. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (11:20):
So since we're now into you know, we've seen the
first episode, do you think there's gonna be any female
versions of mister Grocery Store Joe.
Speaker 5 (11:32):
I honestly think, like I said, I'm gonna get a
lot of flak. Obviously being the pilot there, one of
the flight attendants, she came in a full on flight
attendant get up, had the most amazing no. But I
loved it, Like I'm really surprised, but at least like
the opening, I was like eating it up. I'm like,
this is freaking awesome. And she's like doing her whole
spiel and like welcome aboard, like Flight Bachelor twenty four
(11:53):
or something like that, Like did her whole thing?
Speaker 1 (11:55):
Oh she did no work. She does that every day.
Speaker 3 (11:57):
Yes, I guess she's cookie, because then you should have
kept her.
Speaker 5 (12:02):
I know she didn't. That's why she did not so
that reason.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
I mean, honestly, I think I would want to stand
out of it if I was coming. I get the
windmill stuff. That's that's gonna happen. I'm sure we'll have
heard it one too many times. But a flight attendant's
like I see this all day every day, at least
put on like a Halloween version of it where it's
sexy or something. I mean, I'm gonna take the scarf
off and wrap it around his neck, spank him with it,
(12:25):
something like something.
Speaker 1 (12:26):
To Rachel's her on the show.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
Again, we know what she wants.
Speaker 1 (12:32):
It's something you see every day.
Speaker 5 (12:34):
You're right, I don't know. I still appreciated it.
Speaker 4 (12:36):
But do you feel like you had to get rid
of those Did you have to get rid of those girls?
The flight attendants to not live up to a stereotype.
Are you sick of bean pilot?
Speaker 1 (12:47):
Pete?
Speaker 5 (12:47):
First of all, I'm not, no, because as much as
more people everyone else is price sick of it. But
I love flying. That's just that's me, and that's always
going to be me. That's just my number one passion,
my first love, for sure.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
But when that's how people know you as right.
Speaker 5 (13:03):
That And there's so much more to me obviously than
just being a pilot. And hopefully and hopefully every yeah
an will know that stuff. You know, everyone will be
able to hopefully learn a little bit more about me
throughout this season. But no, I I didn't do it
to kind of get away from that stereotype. And it's
kind of funny because a little bit later on in
the season, I get a surprise that I didn't know about.
(13:23):
It has a little bit to do with this, and
it was it was actually really well done. I definitely
appreciated like.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
The flight attendant, didn't you.
Speaker 5 (13:30):
No, I got rid of the three, but a little
bit to do with what with flight attendant the one
that you sent home. No, none of the three that
I sent home. So there was three flight attendants that
I knew about. The first night, and I sent all
three of them home, But later on there.
Speaker 2 (13:44):
Was a fun little I like her already, That's what
I'm talking about, some originality subjet.
Speaker 1 (13:52):
She's already my favorite. Don't care.
Speaker 7 (13:54):
She definitely appreciated that.
Speaker 5 (13:57):
That was cool. That was cool, and the way she
does it and delivers what she does is just so
perfect and has me on the edge of my seat.
I'm like, whoa, whoa, whoa, what I.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
Say, You're getting me very excited to watch the season.
Speaker 5 (14:09):
No, it's it's good. There's definitely very entertaining.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
Okay, do you feel like after the first because the
first roal ceremony is exhausting. You're up all night, it's
the morning, people cry, you know, people shot, are shocked
and all. And did you feel emotional though, Like, did
you get emotional sending anybody home after that?
Speaker 5 (14:28):
Uh? The only time I got emotional was the beginning.
I got emotional on my toast. I just I remember
walking in and you know, all the ladies are there,
they all stand up, they raise their glasses, and I
just I mean, that's like the first real for me.
At HEA's the first real moment.
Speaker 4 (14:41):
Oh my godnause, you have all these girls here for.
Speaker 5 (14:44):
You exactly, and just like it was just I'm getting
like goosebumps right now even thinking about it. I was
just so much gratefulness just my entire body, That's what
it was, and just so appreciative to have this moment
and to realize that I remember saying like, I hope
this is, you know, the start of the g this
love story ever like, and I really believe that, and
just knowing that we were all on this together and
(15:05):
about to embark on it. And I was so excited
for and just so happy to be in that position
and so thankful that I got emotional there. I didn't
get emotional.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
At the end, though I could see you having all
that emotion, like yeah, you're all on, like you're pouring
your heart out, You're being so vulnerable, and then some
little bitch says, can I sell you for a second,
and then the.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
Whole thing just starts.
Speaker 4 (15:27):
Yeah it, so we know obviously you were nervous.
Speaker 3 (15:34):
I think I was shaken in my little heels.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
I was so nervous. And I'm sure you could sense
the girl's nerves too. How did you help them throughout
the night, you know, feel at ease so they could
kind of give you a glimpse of who they are,
because that was the one part that I was like,
you know, you have to be making these quick decisions.
Obviously you only have a few minutes with everyone, so
it's like you want to try to get to know
(15:59):
them as best you can without this front on. So
how did you kind of put them at ease and
help them out throughout the night?
Speaker 5 (16:05):
Honestly, I for me, so I'm I've just always been
kind of a physical person, Like physical touch has always
been a lovely but no, I because I remember I
was just you know, just as nervous as them. But
I think just it was like a small thing. I
remember like I try to like at least, you know,
touch her like or grab her hand and just like
hold it and just like kind of just like give her,
(16:26):
you know, that confidence that I want her to feel,
to be able to just be herself and kind of
relax and and just you know, I remember multiple times
I just like would talk to them like like, guys,
how cool is this? Like this is a crazy first night.
We'll never forget, Like this is just so amazing. I'm
so happy that you're here. Just I don't know, just
not trying to make the moment too big. Obviously it's
very nerve wracking for them because they kind of have
(16:47):
this pressure. But I don't know, I think, yeah, in
regards like just the small little physical touches and just
trying to not make it too big of a moment.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
How should you pick a bow tie? I will carry
into it for that.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
I know you did. You made carry upset probably.
Speaker 5 (17:06):
Tie fan I he he wasn't too mad about it.
He There's some other people that I had to kind
of get the approval on to sign off on it.
But I don't know. I kind of just I've always
loved James Bond and like the whole like that whole suit.
I've never worn a taxedo like that, like the whole
slim fit, custom fit texedo. I was like, I remember
the last time I wore a texedo was it prom
and I wore my dad's Like tuxedo is just really
(17:26):
big and never fit me well. And I was like,
I just want to wear a taxedo and like go
all the way. And I fought for that boatsiade and
I loved it. I'm not normally the dude, and I
remember going into him like there's a chance, maybe I
don't even kiss anyone.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
You were gonna throw Hannah all over the place on
her if you were definitely going to be.
Speaker 3 (17:49):
Kissing somewhere else that night.
Speaker 5 (17:50):
Yes, but Okay, to be real, this actually is my
point with Hannah, I waited a while to kiss her.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
And it was a long time pent up aggression.
Speaker 5 (17:58):
Yeah. So for me, I I've always been person that
when I'm really into someone, I think it just comes
from me being you know, I was really shy when
I was younger, and it was I didn't talk to
girls for long. It was really hard for me to
I just always been that way, and I I've always
waited a while to kind of make that first move.
It's like with kissing, and so I kind of had
this like, Okay, I'm gonna do this for the first
night and see how it goes. But then then Savannah
(18:21):
comes up to me, and you know, she does this
little act with me and puts this blindfold on and like,
you know, does this you know thing like it starts
like massaging my body or something and then goes in
for the kiss. And she did it, and I was like,
all right, there we go. Like I kind of got
the whole mindset feels broken. Yeah, seals broken. And here
we go, like I didn't have I wasn't waiting for
that first kiss again, so I kind of, I don't know,
(18:42):
like I was feeling it with them, So I went forward.
Speaker 2 (18:45):
First Impression Rose, because we've all been there having to
give your first impression rows. Now you give your first
impression rows to Hannah and.
Speaker 5 (18:55):
Handa Anne Hannah A Hannah just Hannah Handah Hannah An.
Speaker 2 (19:00):
Okay, why did you decide to give it to her?
Because I know this is gonna be a little bit
controversy because.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
You gave it to somebody who stole you three times?
What's up with that?
Speaker 5 (19:12):
I that's honestly part of the reason I do tell
I love that. So Hannah Ann was someone that she
that girl knew exactly what she wanted coming into this
and never let me question that. And I literally mean
that from the beginning, she was the first person to
(19:33):
steal me away. Uh for the first conversation. She was
the first kind of normal kiss, not from like the
first you know, first you know entrances and just I
mean we clicked immediately.
Speaker 1 (19:47):
Just are Yeah, I'm gonna say something, don't get mad.
Speaker 5 (19:51):
At me.
Speaker 2 (19:52):
Okay, I know exactly what we've almost seen one episode,
but you know who Hannah Ann reminds me of and
the way you talk about her.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
But staying with me, now what two three?
Speaker 5 (20:04):
Luke, No, not even close, not even close. Don't even
go there.
Speaker 2 (20:09):
He's saying, no, you listen, he took an issue.
Speaker 5 (20:13):
She was intentional, but not like no, that's different.
Speaker 1 (20:15):
I'm you.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
Know him outside of all of that, you know him
past the first time. I'm only talking about first episode.
We didn't know he was like that first episode. It
was like, Wow, he's really into this girl. He knows
exactly what he wants. He's very intentional and exactly what
he wants to do, and she feels it as well.
Speaker 1 (20:36):
That's the same way. I'm just saying. We've only said
one again.
Speaker 5 (20:39):
Disagree, but that's fine. And but like she like hand
and she brought me up. We went to like the
couch she had drawn out this beautiful painting for me
she had drawn with her dad. Immediately starts going into
like about her family, how important her family was to her,
and it just like it was it. She's so not
like that, I believe.
Speaker 2 (20:55):
I'm just saying, there's a lot of similar I'm talking
only first night.
Speaker 1 (20:58):
Yeah, Please, everybody, don't judge me. I'm just talking about her.
Speaker 2 (21:01):
I have no idea anything else about Hannah and I
get that.
Speaker 5 (21:04):
And maybe you know you saw Hannah and Brown, you know,
really take a liking to him that first night and
think we did the first.
Speaker 3 (21:10):
Night you saw him on a date, I did see him.
Speaker 1 (21:15):
I'm not just only keeping in contract.
Speaker 5 (21:17):
That first night. Is nothing wrong with that, you know,
being that kind.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
Of it wasn't just the first night, is all.
Speaker 2 (21:24):
I'm talking about nothing past that because I had a
lot to say about him.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
I'm just saying. I'm just just say it. She's not
like that.
Speaker 3 (21:30):
We'll have to see how it all plays out.
Speaker 5 (21:32):
I have to see Hannah and.
Speaker 4 (21:35):
So I know for about Charette's well, the streak is
now broken. But we were very good at choosing our
final person who would give first impression. Rows too, so
who knows, maybe Peter will follow in our footsteps again.
Speaker 1 (21:52):
We will have did you find out?
Speaker 5 (21:54):
Did you you mean with like choosing the choose your
first that's the very end of it.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
You might as well practice with us before you have
somebody else, you know. I'm sad.
Speaker 5 (22:07):
No, Yeah, I don't think it's going to get out
and hoping it doesn't.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
So I hope it doesn't too. I want to be surprised.
I don't want to know again.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
I I think I said this to your parents last week,
but I want to be very unspoiled this season. I
will probably be wrong, because I'm always wrong in most things,
but yeah, I wanted to be very surprised at the
end and see it all unfolded.
Speaker 5 (22:32):
I think that at the end of the day, that's
everyone wants to like. I hate this whole spoiled now
type world. I just want to enjoy it.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
Be upset if you don't pick anybody like I have.
I like Peter's Peter's gonna find it if anybody does.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
Peter does this only reason I'm.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
Going to be upset if I don't I don't pick anybody,
I'm going to be upset.
Speaker 4 (22:50):
I would not be upset because as long as you're happy,
and if no one was there as your perfect fit,
then that's okay.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Keep I can't.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
I cannot imagine that Peter doesn't find I think he.
Speaker 1 (23:03):
Will, yeah, and I just can't.
Speaker 3 (23:05):
And then we now have someone to triple date with us.
Speaker 1 (23:08):
Yea, it's not like her.
Speaker 3 (23:16):
Very intense doesn't like you.
Speaker 2 (23:20):
The first night is so wild, it's so crazy, is
so long. Do you think there's anything you would have
done differently.
Speaker 5 (23:27):
If you could maybe I kissed so many women, but no, honestly,
I made a point to talk to every single one,
and I didn't want because I know sometimes that doesn't
happen just because of straight up time. So I was
really happy I was able to do that. Honestly, No,
I really wouldn't change anything about about that first night.
Speaker 4 (23:49):
I will say I did hear from some of the
producers who I still stay in touch with, that they
really appreciated the fact that you pushed to talk to
all the girls, And.
Speaker 1 (23:59):
I think it's I did to that night. Good for you.
It's at least you know who you're sending home. I
did not.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
I was so tired by the end that I was like,
I'm fine.
Speaker 5 (24:08):
I was a zombie at the end of that.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
But well, do you know what, And I want to
know if you guys thought this too when I was
going through it, I thought, never forget what it feels
like to be a contestant, to be on the other
side of sacrificing and be there. Yeah, and it's like
even if you're exhausted as the lead and you're so
you're just like, oh again, and you've had all these conversations.
That person's been waiting five, you know, hours days at
(24:32):
some times to have a conversation with you. And I
always remember thinking, just put yourself, remember what it was like,
just muster up enough energy just to give them.
Speaker 5 (24:41):
So it's not easy, but no, it's not.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
Making me feel like crap.
Speaker 5 (24:47):
When did you not talk.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
To Well, okay, I did. I talked to those people.
I think there was four guys that I didn't talk
to you. I will say though one I did not
care to talk to.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
Who and I won't say his name, but he remember
he gave me.
Speaker 4 (25:01):
He came out of the limo and he's like, I
want a relationship or he's like, how do you feel
about a fifty to fifty relationship?
Speaker 3 (25:06):
And I was like, say, great, that's what I want.
Speaker 4 (25:08):
And then he's like, what about sixty forty And then
he took a step away from me, making me two
more of the work. Yeah, and so I did. I
actually said I didn't feel the need to talk to him.
Speaker 1 (25:18):
But well, he wasn't me.
Speaker 2 (25:20):
I have no I watched her season, obviously, I have
no idea who this person is.
Speaker 1 (25:24):
If you said him home the first night.
Speaker 3 (25:25):
Yeah, So I want to backtrack a little bit.
Speaker 4 (25:29):
So your night one, you meet all these amazing women,
well hopefully amazing. Yeah, and then Hannah comes out and
she's the last girl out of the limos. What is
going through your mind in that moment? Like, I feel
like my stomach would have fallen out of my butt. Yeah,
I would have been I wouldn't.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
I honestly probably don't know what I would have said.
Speaker 5 (25:49):
Yeah, I so, I remember she's so the last girl
come through what I thought was the last girl. And
then one more limo comes. Didn't know it was her though,
and then I like, look a little closer, and I
realized it's actually Hannah. I was like, you've got to
be kidding me, Like I really, honestly, I didn't. I
did not expect for her to show up that first night.
Maybe sometime throughout the season, but not that first night.
(26:11):
It was a complete shock to me. And then I mean, yeah,
I get im. I can be honest, like it's all good.
Whether I should have or shouldn't have I probably sart
getting a little more excited. I'm like, I thought, maybe
you know she was coming for to Yeah, what else
are you going to think in that moment when she's
walking up.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
So yeah, and I would feel Rachel saying, we would
feel the exact same way.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
You get that, like the little butterflies of excitement.
Speaker 5 (26:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
So then obviously she gives you the wings back, right, Sessainara.
Speaker 1 (26:43):
And then.
Speaker 3 (26:45):
The group date, you know she's going to be hosting it.
Speaker 5 (26:49):
Okay, you guys are realized, Like she I went in
because she was like very emotional. I didn't just go
to catch up with her. She was like crying like crazy,
and so I walked over and I see her and
she's like mass scared every word, just like crying. I
like try to go comfort her and talk, and then
I get emotional and just stuff just floods back to me.
Of course at that point I feel like a jerk
doing it. But at that point I didn't have any
feelings for any of the girls yet. She was just
(27:09):
honestly there to host a date, and I believe it
was gonna be surprised for me. I didn't know what
they entailed. They just knew she was going to host it,
and so I believe that, but.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
As a lead and you can and you can vouch
for me on this when it gets down to those
final people, you all, they pull on your heartstrings in
a certain way.
Speaker 5 (27:26):
Yeah, and like and our talk, I call her out
on that because I was prepared at AFR to like
give it to shot and I knew there was a
chance for the Bachelor and I was gonna say no
to the show anyways. What I was saying at yeah,
how that whole conversation kind of ends or why I
even give it another chance? Was I called her out
because at AFR when I saw her for the first
time after the show, and then we kind of like
(27:46):
had a brief like just saying goodbye to each other
off camera, just like caught up so that she said
that she had actually moved out to close to where
I was living. I was like, no way, Like, let's
let's see, let's meet up. We'd agreed. I honestly got
excited at that point, like you know what this maybe
this isn't over yet. Yeah, I had felt like some
camera she went there on stage to be completely honest,
and I remember my family and I we flew out
(28:07):
to New York that night. We were gonna go for
this for a couple of weeks, just to vacation, and
I was really excited to like pursue something. And then
that that next night, I remember watching the second episode
of Afar with her and Tyler and she asked Tyler
out and I was like, what the hell? Yeah, And
so that was just like right there, I'm like done,
all right over it, I'm moving on, and like because
(28:28):
it hurt, like I was not expecting that, I get that.
And so then I called her out on that. I
was like, why the hell did you do that? And
so then we just kind of everything just came out,
and Uh, to answer your question, Yeah, it obviously broke
my heart to see her in that way. I had
never kind of I didn't know that she still felt
that way for me, to completely honest, and I wasn't
dming her like apparently she said that, you know, her
(28:49):
and Tyler had been dming that summer before or that summer.
Speaker 2 (28:53):
So yeah, when she cried, what did she say her
tears were based on? Like what was the emotion behind
her tears?
Speaker 5 (29:05):
She just was pretty much expressing to me that obviously
she had been through a very difficult time, obviously with
how her relationship ended with Jed and just how difficult
being in that position it is, and now I've seen
it going through a whole season. It's insanely difficult, as
(29:27):
both of you know. And she just was being very
honest with me that you know she wishes she made.
She admitted to me that she made the wrong decision,
like she told me that, and.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
With Jed or with Tyler.
Speaker 2 (29:43):
Do you get why I'm asking, because we know with Jed,
but then she essentially chose from the story you're telling me,
she essentially.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
Chose Tyler as well. So did she explain? Was it
just a general station?
Speaker 5 (29:56):
She explained to me the whole Tyler thing was apparently
they have been dming a little bit, they've been talking
a little bit, and I just hadn't. I had never
reached out to her. I was waiting to see your
AFR and that was the first time.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
And because you follow the rules, I mean, yeah, just
see the good in people.
Speaker 5 (30:13):
No, That's that's what I did. But again, I know
that she has something really rule, it's really real with
Tyler as well, and so I can't get mad at
her for pursuing a relationship there. I just the part
that pissed me off and that hurt me was we
had talked about and maybe I shouldn't have gotten excited about.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
No, you should have gotten excited.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
No, you should have. It makes all the sense in
the world that you would get excited over that, Like, honestly,
it does.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
And it's flat.
Speaker 4 (30:38):
I would have too, you know, Like I will say,
we're all human, and there's a point when I'm sure
we've all felt and next at some point comes back
and you feel like it's kind of an ego boost.
So I get that, you know, of course, I think
that's a natural human feeling and emotion.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
Okay, I guess I am just like I am. Listen,
we met before and I told you that I explained
to you. I was like, listen, you're going to see
in the media that I was a big advocate for
Mike for Bachelor.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
And explain to you why I was doing it.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
And I wanted to get ahead of it before I
sat down and I talked to you because I wanted
you to know where I was coming from and that
it wasn't anything personal.
Speaker 1 (31:17):
It has nothing to do with you.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
I have said, you know you read the clickbait, you
don't see that if you dive into the article. I
have spoken very highly about you being a great bachelor,
and I really think that you are, and having talked
to your parents last week about you and learning who
you are, and even sitting in here now like now,
I'm a huge advocate for you. So I feel protective
over you. So I'm I am, I am. You deserve
(31:45):
somebody who wants to give you exactly what you want.
Speaker 1 (31:48):
To give them, And well, I guess we won't. I
guess we'll have to see what happens.
Speaker 2 (31:55):
But I hope that you know, you realize that through
your journey, you know whether that's whether Hannah joins or not.
Speaker 1 (32:03):
So obviously we.
Speaker 4 (32:05):
Left the first episode knowing, you know, Hannah came out
of the limo, Hannah came back for the first group
date to host.
Speaker 1 (32:12):
It are you?
Speaker 4 (32:16):
And I don't want you to give anything away obviously,
I feel like the next episode is.
Speaker 3 (32:20):
Going to be very juicy.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
But were you able to kind of bounce back from
that emotional conversation with her?
Speaker 5 (32:28):
Yes, I was. Yeah. I won't give anything away of
how that whole conversation ends or what happens after that.
But obviously everyone you know, can you know, assume that
I had to go confront the other women that I
was on a group date with at that point, And Uh,
I'm not gonna say it was comfortable. It was definitely uncomfortable.
(32:50):
There was definitely some anger coming from them, and rightfully so.
But what I will say is going into that after
party from that date, while I was really uncomfortable and
they were just being really honest with me, I appreciated
them calling me out on what they did and expressing
their feelings to me and not holding back, and in
(33:10):
a way, I think allowed me to almost get closer
to some of the women really early on, just with
them being able to be so open and just raw
and honest with me.
Speaker 4 (33:19):
That's gotta suck, though, because I think my first couple
of group dates that I had, I mean, it's still
you're still getting to know people, you still get nervous.
Speaker 3 (33:28):
It's just a kind of an uncomfortable situation.
Speaker 4 (33:30):
And to add this tension on top of that, I
feel like I would have been dreading it.
Speaker 5 (33:36):
Yeah, and I didn't. Again, I didn't intend to. That
was never the intention of there was supposed to be
a full on date that day, and we obviously didn't
get to do and stuff just happened. But just for
anyone that maybe thinks that I don't know what they're
thinking about hand and I but that that was a
really real relationship and those are real feelings and stuff
(33:57):
came up, and you know, feelings came back when I
all are there and I don't know, I just we
both kind of just followed our heart in that conversation.
And but you guys will see what happens.
Speaker 2 (34:08):
I know it was tough for the girls on the
group date to be there just to witness all of that,
and you know it's tough. You know, you're you're in
this place where you don't really know what's going on,
you don't trust anything anything, and to.
Speaker 1 (34:18):
See that on the first date, that's a lot.
Speaker 2 (34:21):
But I would have loved to have been the girls
that weren't on the date. And I'm at home and
all those girls come back, just angry little birds and
are just like, let.
Speaker 1 (34:31):
Me tell you who was on the date, And.
Speaker 2 (34:33):
I'm just like sitting back with popcorn. I'm so glad
I wasn't there, because you know, you're upset when you
find out you're not on the date. Then you hear
about that date that one do you feel you leave
us hanging? So we have no idea what happens next week,
But do you feel you got the closure that you
needed out of that after that conversation with Hannah?
Speaker 5 (34:54):
Yes? I do good? Yeah, and everything that happens from
that point on, I feel really good about good.
Speaker 3 (35:01):
Okay, so night one is over.
Speaker 4 (35:10):
You now know that you have your entire exciting season
to look forward to. Is there one thing that you
wanted to make sure you avoided throughout your season, something
that you wanted to maybe do differently from Hannah's season,
or that you just knew going into you did not
want personally for yourself to happen.
Speaker 5 (35:29):
Well, I guess because I was asked a lot before
the whole show started or season started, like what do
you want to be remembered for? You have you know,
Coltson with the wall and then Hannah with the windmill,
and you know, so what's Peter going to be? And
I remember like taking offense to that, I was like,
I I swear to God, like I hate to gain
(35:49):
that question, Like I don't want to be remembered for
any of that stuff. All that I care about is
I want to hopefully, hopefully at the end of this
be able to give everyone that watches this show and
has fallen in love with the show an opportunity to live,
you know, for these two months vicariously through my journey
and my love story and kind of fall in love
and throughout watching that. That's all that I cared about.
Speaker 2 (36:09):
Being remembered for the answer who the fuck wants to
be remembered for an inanimate object?
Speaker 1 (36:14):
A windmill?
Speaker 5 (36:15):
And well I got asked that all the time, like
what do you want, and like, I don't care about that.
I just want you know.
Speaker 4 (36:20):
And I will say I think there's such a split
nowt for people. They're like, do you want to watch
for a love story or do you want to watch
for the drama? And I think I feel like I
follow you, And I'm sure Rachel you can attest to this.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
I went in being like, this is my life.
Speaker 4 (36:36):
I want to find a partner to share it with,
Like I'm taking this so seriously, like I'm all in
to find my person if he's here. I didn't care
about the drama, And yes, people can say I had
a boring season, but I didn't care about all the bs,
like I wanted to find my person. And so now
it's like, of course it's a TV show. You want
people to have their moments and you want to wrote
(36:58):
people in and the drama. But for me it was
about the love, which I love that you said that.
But now it's such a split vote.
Speaker 5 (37:05):
I think for people it truly is Yeah, I get
you need the drama, and it's at the end of
the day, it's a TV show. It's entertainment, of course,
but also, yeah, this is our lives and I think
all three of us went into it with the same
mindset and yeah, and.
Speaker 4 (37:17):
I think people forget that along the way, like yes,
to them, it's a TV show and it's like.
Speaker 1 (37:21):
An object for them at times.
Speaker 4 (37:22):
But it's like we're also humans and at the end
of the day, we have to live with our decisions
and we want, you know, it's a it's a big
thing to say yes to be in the Baucher and
Baucherrett and so we want to find what we were
looking for and that's not the drama. But that's a
little exactly and that's what I everyone listening, please keep
that in mind all the future.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
People So that being said, we saw episode one and
a lot goes down. So what can we expect for
the next upcoming episodes?
Speaker 1 (37:49):
What what is it going to show us? Drama? Love
give me a negative.
Speaker 5 (37:54):
I never got a negative. I never got a break. Honestly,
something happens every single week, and it got to the
point like it was very exhausting, and it was like
I was okay, this week something, it's gonna be okay,
smooth saling. Nope. Then I stole my forward open and
then it's just like just something every single week.
Speaker 2 (38:13):
So so we're gonna get good TV, is what you're saying.
Speaker 5 (38:17):
Yeah, yeah, I think so.
Speaker 4 (38:19):
I want to just know one thing throughout your season.
Did you ever forget someone's name to their face.
Speaker 5 (38:27):
The first night? So this girl, oh yeah.
Speaker 4 (38:34):
What's the most okay, let me backtrack, what's the most
embarrassing thing that happened?
Speaker 3 (38:37):
Good question on your season? Boy, besides.
Speaker 5 (38:42):
That was pretty embarrassing. Let me see here. Uh shoot,
I'm on the spot. I gotta think of this. I'm
like at some of the dates I mean I had,
I don't know if it was embarrassing, it was like awkward.
A lot of exes come back that like, not even
(39:03):
just my exes come back.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
Oh, I always get the axes in somehow.
Speaker 5 (39:07):
But then also my exes, I had multiple axes come
back on this.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
Branchise you have? How many more?
Speaker 5 (39:15):
Are there another one that I hadn't seen in like years?
Speaker 4 (39:18):
According to your parents, you didn't break out of your shell.
Tell what your senior year of high school?
Speaker 5 (39:23):
Yeah, and you.
Speaker 4 (39:24):
Didn't really talk to girls. Well I shouldn't say not
talk to them. But so how many exes are we
talking here?
Speaker 5 (39:31):
I mean, yeah that I broke on my show. Senior year,
I got my first girlfriend because she came up to
me and talked to me first. And I don't know.
I guess I've had like four or five.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
Okay, it's not like they're all on the ship on top.
Speaker 5 (39:45):
I know that's true. Yeah, twenty nine more, I don't know,
maybe thirty, who knows. But let me think about that.
The embarrassing one embarrassing story.
Speaker 3 (39:55):
I want something juicy that I'm trying to go on
and talk about. Give anything away.
Speaker 2 (40:00):
I have a question, and maybe this can be the
it's not embarrassing, but maybe juicy.
Speaker 1 (40:04):
I've been saying that.
Speaker 2 (40:05):
You know, of course we had to talk about the
windmilll blah blah blah blah whatever I've been saying. If
I was a girl on Peter's season and I make
it to the Fantasy Suite, if he doesn't do it
at least four.
Speaker 1 (40:16):
Times, we have an issue.
Speaker 2 (40:18):
So my question is, surely we know your your season
is ended.
Speaker 1 (40:24):
I don't know. Do we set another record?
Speaker 3 (40:26):
Okay, so does anything beat the wind mail?
Speaker 5 (40:29):
Nothing is going to come out. I was not the
person that vocalized any of that. Yeah, okay, I said nothing,
and I am not going to say anything about this
season either in regards to intimate stuff in a bedroom.
Speaker 1 (40:40):
Okay, well who said a bedroom?
Speaker 5 (40:43):
Last time?
Speaker 1 (40:43):
It wasn't It was.
Speaker 5 (40:45):
Just Fantasy suite in general. I don't want to know.
Speaker 3 (40:47):
Were you embarrassed when she said that four times?
Speaker 1 (40:51):
Be truth?
Speaker 5 (40:52):
Now, I was not expecting it. But back in the summer,
I was hanging out with Demi and and Luke. I
remember Luke as and And it's funny because I just
it was the first time I actually met Demi, and
she just like, you know, I love Demi. She just
brought it up. She's like, man, Hannah was like talking
(41:13):
about you and like talking you up and I was like, yeah,
I don't know why though she like she said twice
or something like, I don't know where that came from
because it wasn't twice. I was like a lot more
than that, and that was that had that conversation. And
then when she said it to me on the air
on AFR when it was all live, I was like,
holy shit. She actually corrected herself like, yeah, that's the truth.
Like I didn't know why she just said, you know,
(41:34):
the twice before, but I wasn't. I don't know. I honestly,
for whatever reason, I've never been someone that can get
embarrassed about like sex or talking about sex, and even
I know my parents are there, and that's I guess
kind of weird.
Speaker 1 (41:45):
But I think it did you a favor.
Speaker 2 (41:49):
Like I think a lot of people are kind of
like that when they when they see you and they're like, oh, hey,
he's kind of Ben Higgins esk. Who's this straight lined person. Yeah,
you give that same vibe as well. That's a compliment.
I'm just saying that. But then to hear that you
got all rowdy and wild and I'm sure there's some
things we don't even know about and listen I'm married
(42:11):
to and I.
Speaker 1 (42:12):
Get the lad listen we have we have a real
all the time. I'm just saying, but I just I do.
Speaker 5 (42:19):
I do.
Speaker 2 (42:20):
But I think that it like kind of gave you
a little credibility, like kind of like street cred to
hear that, oh he's a lover.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
I think it did you came on well twelve times.
I think it.
Speaker 2 (42:33):
I think it gave you like a boost because it
was like, oh, there's this other side of Peter.
Speaker 3 (42:40):
I think I think it was a mystery.
Speaker 2 (42:41):
At first it was like whoa, but then it was like, okay,
Peter four times. Like I said, if I had been
one of the girls, that's one, all right, you want
to take a nap.
Speaker 7 (42:55):
Her handidding would I would have been like this year
fans sweet Secrets at all Headboard. I've talked about that
like multiple Mom was not pleased that I told that
on TV, but we saw it the head.
Speaker 5 (43:13):
Stuff.
Speaker 3 (43:13):
Yeah, in Thailand.
Speaker 1 (43:15):
It's a great time.
Speaker 5 (43:16):
You know.
Speaker 2 (43:17):
During the time, I didn't really talk about mine, like
out of respect, like when you end up with a person,
out of respect you don't talk about but I mean
I have, Oh gosh, I was gonna ask say something
else though about the credibility that it gave you. Oh no,
I know I was gonna turn into something else. So
(43:37):
I think a lot of times and we when we
talk to your parents, we talked about this too. They're
watching from afar, you go off and you do this journey,
but they're also having to hear family members and friends
come act in with did you see this?
Speaker 1 (43:50):
Did you hear this happen?
Speaker 2 (43:51):
And we BECA and I both talked about how our
moms are in the comments section and we're like, mom,
please just stop, you know, don't read the comments, but
there is you know, if you're going to accept the good,
you have to accept the bad and all these negative things.
And I just want to wonder how you took some
of the things that came out before your season. You know,
I already threw myself out there. You know, I was
(44:11):
one of the people who was a proponent for someone else,
and you know we talked about that. But once you
were chosen, how did you feel and how did you
overcome hearing getting some of that negative attention or just
negative media about them the franchise choosing you as the
next lead.
Speaker 5 (44:32):
Yeah, I mean that's a really good question to be
one hundred percent honest, and this may really be a
boring answer. I was just way too distracted with being
the most excited, grateful dude on this entire planet and
just realizing what was awaiting for me in the next
couple of months, that it didn't matter what came out,
what negative thing came out, how many people thought I'd
(44:55):
be the most boring bachelor in the world and didn't
want me and wanted it didn't matter. All I cared
about was exactly how excited and how ready I was
to start that middle of September and just get it
going like that. Truly was the only thing that mattered.
Speaker 3 (45:10):
Well that should matter.
Speaker 1 (45:11):
Shut me up.
Speaker 4 (45:16):
One more thing, speaking of comments, I was given I
have a gift for you. I was given this when
I became the bachelorette from one of my producer friends.
I'm going to pass the torch and gives you.
Speaker 5 (45:30):
Read what it says, never read the comments.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
It goes on your key chair.
Speaker 5 (45:35):
That's some good advice right there.
Speaker 4 (45:36):
It's a good reminder so you keep yourself. Maybe given
to a special lady who knows.
Speaker 5 (45:41):
Yeah, that's awesome, Thank you. I will take this advice
for sure.
Speaker 3 (45:44):
Really never read the comments.
Speaker 5 (45:46):
Never read the comments. They're not healthy. Yeah, I mean
I get everyone has an opinion.
Speaker 1 (45:50):
Yeah, and you.
Speaker 2 (45:51):
Will read them, okay, like you'll you will. It's it's
I mean sometimes I still even do at times. It
just happens, but just like, don't let it consume you
or to.
Speaker 5 (45:59):
Be complete it so like I I have I mean,
I'm not gonna have read comments too. I kind of
like getting like the really bad ones. I actually like,
I don't know, get sometimes like, wow, you really dislike
me that much? That's crazy?
Speaker 4 (46:11):
The really really terrible ones. I will say, like they
kind of get me going a little bit where they're
so funny in the sense where it's like, how are
you as a person even typing this right now? It's
like I always say, you know how Jimmy Kimmel has
this mean tweet mean tweets. I was like, I want
to get everyone from from Bachelor a contestant to like
(46:32):
give me their worst tweet or comment and like make
it like a bat book over it.
Speaker 1 (46:37):
No you don't want mine? Oh yeah, my way too personal?
Speaker 5 (46:41):
But honestly, do you guys to see like all it
has just been keyboard keyboard Warriors. I have not once,
not once, had one person in real life come up
to me and say something negative.
Speaker 4 (46:51):
Everyone will come up to me and be like, oh
my god, you're my favorite bachelor. I love you so much,
and no one's going to say to your face you
were just mediocre dude, right, no one will say anything
like that to your face.
Speaker 5 (47:03):
Called.
Speaker 2 (47:03):
So sometimes I'll write them back, like if it's just
something like so off the wall, like.
Speaker 1 (47:11):
Usually if it's something racist, right, because I get a
lot of that.
Speaker 2 (47:15):
I'll write them back and then they'll say, oh my god,
my sister got a hold of my Instagram. That is
happening more times than I can count.
Speaker 1 (47:25):
I really love you.
Speaker 2 (47:26):
I think you're so great so many times. So if
you like from time to time, I'm like, oh, really
you wrote that, let me let you know that I
saw it.
Speaker 1 (47:34):
And then they'll back down. Yea, be thugs.
Speaker 3 (47:40):
Jesus Christ, and people would be like, you're a terrible human, like.
Speaker 1 (47:44):
Exactly, yeah, but you have the right attitude.
Speaker 2 (47:47):
I mean, like we all need to have a little
bit of Peter in our lives.
Speaker 1 (47:52):
Is just having you know, like.
Speaker 2 (47:53):
Who while you're over there, I'm talking to me, wasting
your time talking about something else and worried about that.
I just became the bachelor the time of my life.
Meet thirty or you don't know how many women at
the time, but meet all these women who were here
for me where I'm in the cockpit and I get
to take control of all this. That's the way you
should be, Like why why are you're over there?
Speaker 5 (48:15):
Mad?
Speaker 4 (48:16):
Yeah, Peter, I will say, if being a pilot doesn't
work out, you could be a motivational speaker.
Speaker 1 (48:22):
Really, all right, Peter.
Speaker 2 (48:23):
From time to time, I'm Bachelor Happy Hour. We like
to play a little game. So we're not gonna let
you leave here without playing a game with you. Okay,
So we're gonna play word association, which I love. So
we're gonna take turns saying a word, and we want
to hear the first thing that pops into your mind. Okay,
you don't get time to think about it. It's just
bam right, like Becca bash, the red Rachel beautiful.
Speaker 1 (48:49):
I thought you you started off with that b and
I thought you were gonna.
Speaker 3 (48:53):
Say, ok.
Speaker 5 (49:00):
That was just to give you a task.
Speaker 1 (49:02):
I'm not kidding.
Speaker 2 (49:03):
I was like, Okay, I'll do the first one.
Speaker 1 (49:07):
Co pilot.
Speaker 5 (49:10):
I don't want to say solely he's not a co pilot,
but yeah he's a captain, he's not at loves him
was the person they went into my mind.
Speaker 4 (49:20):
Okay, I know what I would say for this one,
but Barbon Peter Sr.
Speaker 3 (49:27):
Dancing dancing, that was a nice one.
Speaker 1 (49:30):
Okay, Chris Harrison father.
Speaker 4 (49:34):
Best friend, Dom, Well, don't tell you any of your
other friends.
Speaker 1 (49:43):
Limo first night, celebrity.
Speaker 5 (49:46):
Crush Jessica Alba. Okay, Rose, I'm not going to say it.
The first I was.
Speaker 3 (49:57):
Gonna say Titanic.
Speaker 5 (49:59):
The first thing they came know my mind was possibly
the person's the very end.
Speaker 1 (50:03):
That's so sweet, really so sweet. You'll learn to hate
Red Roses.
Speaker 3 (50:09):
Okay, well again, Rose, Titanic, that was really good.
Speaker 5 (50:17):
Flight school came Rio Airport. That's where I learned to fly.
Speaker 3 (50:21):
Neil Lane.
Speaker 5 (50:23):
Beautiful diamond.
Speaker 3 (50:25):
It's technically two words, but it's like beautiful.
Speaker 5 (50:29):
Instagram social media.
Speaker 1 (50:34):
I don't know what would you say, Instagram sucks.
Speaker 5 (50:38):
Sucks, Instagram fants I I kind of yeah, a little
Birdie told us that you don't want to be verified. Yeah,
I'm not about that. That's like not me and I
just it's my last like hold on not being taken
over by.
Speaker 2 (50:52):
This real All right, listen up. At this point, I'm
not speaking to bachination. I'm speaking to the Batchel franchise.
Fine more Peters. Seriously, I don't know how you're gonna
do it, but you gotta find more Peter's people who.
Speaker 5 (51:07):
Don't like that.
Speaker 1 (51:09):
Now, you gotta find more irish.
Speaker 4 (51:11):
Peter was like, I don't have an Instagram say that seriously,
my gosh, after your first night, they're not going to
talk about any other bachelor's.
Speaker 3 (51:21):
Oh precious, okay, next one final rowse.
Speaker 5 (51:25):
Chris Harrison, that just bombed up.
Speaker 4 (51:30):
You actually pulled the switch and give your final rossdramatic season.
Speaker 1 (51:37):
I would love it.
Speaker 3 (51:37):
I'd support it.
Speaker 2 (51:39):
Twenty twenty Dateline, Yes, Peter, it's twenty it is twenty
twenty years.
Speaker 5 (51:53):
I didn't even realize that.
Speaker 2 (51:53):
Better fact that you said dayline makes me love you
so much more.
Speaker 1 (51:57):
I love Dateline.
Speaker 5 (51:58):
Yes, it's funy Oh my gosh, what a good year
to me. Twenty twenty.
Speaker 2 (52:02):
I feel like somebody else would have been like, I
don't know forty you know what I mean?
Speaker 7 (52:07):
Like, I just love you said, okay, sorry, okay, last
one mansion.
Speaker 5 (52:16):
Amazing.
Speaker 3 (52:17):
I don't know, Dirney, I would have said stinky, stinky.
Speaker 4 (52:20):
It has such a does Okay, it has a unique
scent to it that like when you walk in, you know, cry,
someone's going to come at you for some kind of drama.
Speaker 3 (52:32):
Chris Harrison's going to come in and like give some
bad news.
Speaker 5 (52:35):
Did you guys ever do the pool party at the mansion?
Speaker 1 (52:37):
No, we didn't have one.
Speaker 4 (52:39):
It was it was very cold and rainy when we
were living, when my guys were living in the mansion.
Speaker 1 (52:44):
I didn't want to get my hair wet.
Speaker 5 (52:45):
Did you?
Speaker 1 (52:45):
We didn't have one.
Speaker 5 (52:46):
Yeah. I never got to go a swing, like just
munch of stuff happened.
Speaker 3 (52:49):
Hey, was the hot tubs so broken when you were there?
Speaker 5 (52:52):
I never got to go on this one. But on
the bacheloreat we got to go in it, did you. Yeah,
but you know they have two hot tubs. That's for
people that don't know. Isn't that crazy?
Speaker 2 (53:00):
I don't okay, Okay, correct we stand corrected.
Speaker 1 (53:05):
Yeah, I just considered that a bird bath or bird bath?
Speaker 3 (53:08):
There you okay? One last rose?
Speaker 5 (53:11):

Speaker 5 (53:19):
It's good though, it's good you guys are not gonna
get it.
Speaker 4 (53:22):
So the real question of the day is how do
we get freedlights and bisc off cookies.
Speaker 5 (53:27):
I have a lot of buddy passes, so just hit
me up.
Speaker 1 (53:30):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (53:30):
It was nice though, fine first everywhere.
Speaker 3 (53:33):
Right, I'm sure.
Speaker 2 (53:33):
Okay, you have to tell people that because you get
treated like an A list celebrity when yeah.
Speaker 5 (53:39):
I was so like here to come back and have
to dress myself. Now after every single.
Speaker 4 (53:43):
Day, you're ready for the real world, Peter, Okay, Okay,
we could keep going on and on and on.
Speaker 2 (53:48):
We obviously tried to get you to spill some secrets
which you want won't, which I'm sure they're happy.
Speaker 1 (53:54):
Obviously you've been through media training at this point, so
you passed. You're doing it.
Speaker 2 (53:57):
You're doing a great job. But I just want to
thank you so much for being here. It's been such
a pleasure. Your positivity, your energy, your light, it's infectious,
like even for you've touched me.
Speaker 5 (54:16):
Man appreciate that.
Speaker 1 (54:18):
I'm just excited for you.
Speaker 2 (54:19):
I'm excited to continue to watch your journey who you
are too.
Speaker 4 (54:23):
I can't wait, honestly, again, like I know, I'm trying
to get all the spoilers out of you.
Speaker 3 (54:27):
I truly don't want to know.
Speaker 4 (54:29):
I want to be surprised, I want to be shocked,
but I'm just excited for you. And again you just
look happy and I hope that's the case whatever however
this ends up, but I just can't wait.
Speaker 5 (54:41):
Yeah, no, I can definitely say I am very happy
and I'm super excited for everyone watches. Thank you, enjoy it.
Speaker 4 (54:48):
One last important question before you have to skid out
all who.
Speaker 1 (54:51):
Did you pick?
Speaker 5 (54:53):
You're going to stop or association?
Speaker 1 (54:58):
What if that was her name?
Speaker 5 (55:03):
You know?
Speaker 1 (55:04):
Well, we're wishing you the best.
Speaker 2 (55:05):
We hope you find the love that your parents have,
because now that we've talked to them, we can't get
enough of old Barb and pepe.
Speaker 5 (55:13):

Speaker 3 (55:13):
I'm sorry, we're coming over for many many.
Speaker 1 (55:17):

Speaker 2 (55:18):
I can't, Thank god, we found something wrong with I
cannot cook.
Speaker 1 (55:22):
He can't cook.
Speaker 5 (55:23):
I can make cereal and and toes and waffles.
Speaker 3 (55:26):
But finally one flop, Yeah I got but that's yeah.
Speaker 5 (55:31):
I need someone that they can help me with that,
especially have to get used to my mom.
Speaker 1 (55:34):
