Speaker 1 (00:01):
The volume. What's up, guys.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
UFC three seventeen just wrapped, and this both fight reaction
video is brought to you by Total Wireless, the official
wireless provider of UFC. They're in your corner with unlimited
five G data that will not slow you down.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
Man.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Let me tell you who's not slowing down. It is
Iliot ta Poria.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Very rarely am I like at a loss for words
when it comes to athletes. I really cannot find the
words to explain what we are seeing from Iliot to Poria.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
I mean, his ability to.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Control guys, knock guys out, tell us what he's going
to do to knock guys out, and then go out
there and deliver.

Speaker 1 (00:53):
It's second to none.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
You know, you kind of expected him to have a
harder time with Charles Olavera, because we have seen everybody
have a hard time with Charles Olivera, you know, except
for Islam.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
Islam dealt with him pretty good.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
But for the most part, Charles presents issues matchup wise
for so many people, and it looked like that might
become an issue for Ilia.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Very early he.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Was able to secure a takedown. But after we have
told you time and time again, to Pouria. At his
heart is a grappler, So what did he do? Get
back to his feet, went right back, right back on
the attack, trying to knock oliverra out. He made a
promise that he would get it done in the first round,
and he got it done in the first round. We
honestly sat at the table thinking to ourselves, I don't

(01:40):
know if it's good that Daporia is out celebrating a victory.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
That has not happened yet.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
But this young man has so much confidence and not
only himself, but his preparation and his team and his
ability that when he says these things, he's not just
spewing garbage. He believes that he is going to do it,
and he almost speaks it into existence. Tonight, He's spoken
to a distance and not cut over Charles WAVERA fight starts.
He hits Charles with a right hand, cuts him very

(02:06):
early in a bad spot. Charles takes him down along
the octagon's side. Elliot gets back up, goes right back
to work. Charles tried multiple times to take him down
and he defended beautifully.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
You know, we always think.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
When Econor McGregor, or Ronda Rousey or somebody moves on that.

Speaker 1 (02:30):
Okay, the UFC is gonna struggle. But then there's.

Speaker 2 (02:32):
Always somebody new, and you could see them coming from
a long time away.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
I remember the first time I called to Poria's fight.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
I believe it was against Josh Uh Josh Emmett in
in Florida, and I was like, Wow, this kid's so impressive.
But Emmett was able to take the punches. But at
this point, the POORI has tightened everything up so much.
His striking is so straight that he's nowating more power

(03:01):
than he even did before in knocking guys out. You
thought Charles might present problems on the ground. Nope, you
thought Charles will present some problems on the feet. But
Charles is known to go into the fire. You cannot
go into the fire with this guy. And I think
what was most impressive was the right hand actually ended.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
The fight for Charles Olavera.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
But because the fourier is so good at throwing a
combination that.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
He threw the left hook right after.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
It, and the left hook landed to it just knocked
Charles out even more. He didn't really need to land
the follow up shots, but he did. Because you are
to fight until the referee says, stop. You know, this
kid's impressive. Man, The kids very impressive. He's only twenty
eight years old, he's only had nine UFC fights, and

(03:49):
he's already a double champion.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
He's the real deal.

Speaker 2 (03:52):
Patty Pimbler went to the octagon afterwards. I believe that's
a great fight. I believe Paddy will have to use
his size against Hilley if he wants a chance, because
he is not known as good.

Speaker 1 (04:03):
As striker as Charles Olavera.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
And you saw what Iliot did to Charles, so you
gotta be very careful on the battle pigment side to
make sure that you're doing the right things to ensure
that you can get to him and try to take
him down. Charles didn't have much success taking him down.
Eliot the ports a real lifestyle man. He really is.
And I think that we're gonna be watching this kid

(04:27):
for a real long time. As long as he stays
the course. He seems to be doing all the right things.
As long as he stays the course, I believe he's
gonna be very valuable and in the championship picture as
the champion that won fifty five for a long time.
I think Islam can fight him, but I think Islam
will be one of the greatest challenges he would have

(04:48):
because they're both just next level. But right now, man,
he seems to be separating himself from everybody.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
He's just unbelievable and you gotta tip your hat to him.

Speaker 2 (04:59):
He's created it to all about him, and by creating
that team all about him.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
He's developed at a rate that most don't.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
So hats off to Illiots Afoia for a phenomenal performance.
Alessandre Bantoji submitted Ky Car France in the third round
of their championship fight they fought nine years ago. I
hope that Kay didn't believe he was fighting the same guy,
because this new Pantosian one deserves to be higher in

(05:26):
the pound found rankings. He's that good and his confidence again,
his confidence is growing. This young man only won that
belt two years ago and he's already defended the belt
four times. He's already second to Dimitriz Johnson for most
flyweight championship fight and wins of all time.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
He is already now.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Holds the record for the most wins in flyweight history.
He's continuing to raise the bar and he's just a
genuinely good dude, like the very rarely does the good
guy truly get everything. In Pantosia's case, you got a
good guy that's getting everything he deserves. He's so committed

(06:08):
to his team, his family, committed to this sport and
he you know, it's a guy that went from saying, Dad,
are you proud of me?

Speaker 1 (06:15):
Now?

Speaker 2 (06:16):
To now being a dominant world champion that doesn't seem
to be slowing down anytime soon. He saw his next
shouting fighting Joshua Van. Joshua Van always talks about. He
tells me to bring my kid to Houston for two
three years and begin him because of the wrestling. He
will have to display that wrestling if he wants a
chance against the great champion and Ales Chandre Pantosia. Joshua

(06:40):
Van and Brandon Royval put on an absolute classic tonight.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
I stood up out of my chair. I stood up
out of my chair.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
I was so excited watching them stand for fifteen straight
minutes and then him dropping roy Val at the end
of the third round to win the fight. This kid
fought three weeks ago in Newark had another finish tonight.
He fights a number one contender and he gets a
decision victory.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
It's amazing to watch a young man at such a young.

Speaker 2 (07:08):
Age get everything that he could ever have a drink
about in his life. Joshua Van is another one of
those good guys that's getting what he deserves. But Nil
Darus beat Anatomy Cono.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
A.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Talbott showed massive, massive improvements in his wrestling tonight and
got a victory over Felipe Lima, who we all thought
was much tougher than the last guy he.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
Lost to, so great on him for getting it done.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
Gregor Rodriguez knocked out Jack Harmanson landed an extra shot
that did not need to be landed.

Speaker 1 (07:40):
You know her.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Deane's a great rap, but he needs to rush to
make sure that that doesn't happen.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Because Romanson was out.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
For a long time, the UFC kept Romanson for an
hour checking on him before they allowed for him to
go home because everybody was so concerned because of.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
The amount of time that he's been out.

Speaker 2 (07:59):
Jose Miguel loved Gotta landed a beautiful need to finish
the fight. Tracey Carts got a decision victory, and Terrence
McKinny once again quick finish, this time with his grapple,
big submission win by Jacobe Smith and then a decision
victory about Janata Jennie. It was an amazing night International fight.
We always promise you that it's going to be amazing.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Tonight.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
I believe that this fight card delivered above we ever
could have expected because of the finishes, the fights, the
heart that the fighters had don't explained everything else.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Guys, now with time.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
For my Total Wireless performance of the night, and it's
hard to give it to anyone but the champion Illiot
for you, but I think for my performance of the
night Total Wireless, I have to give it to Gregory
Rodriguez as my fighter of the night.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
He did such a great job of not.

Speaker 2 (08:59):
Only showing patience and really showing that he is doing
the things necessary to not only win fights, but go
to the next levels. Not about just winning, it's about
going to the next level, winning fights and winning fights impressively. Tonight,
Gregor Rodriguez, RoboCop, did exactly that and showed maturity after

(09:20):
the Jared Cannon near fight. So once again, my Total
Wireless Fighter of the night is RoboCop. Gregor Rodriguez UFC
three seventeen was a monster. I cannot wait to get
to New Orleans. As always, guys, I love and appreciate you,
I love your support.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
I thank you for it. Until next time, like subscribe it.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
Tell your friends I got a YouTube channel and I'm
giving you this type of back access to the UFC.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Look it how fast we breaking down after we'd done it.
Takes no time. Until next time, guys, Peace,
