said Morales. I'm like, at the end of the day,
I'm a fighter and I'm going to fight winning, So

you win shit, more shit's gonna come. So I'm gonna
go out there beat Morales, and then if I get
the title shot next, great. I would love to fight
JD if he wins. I'll love to fight Islam if

Yeah, first, like, and I didn't even think I was
gonna get a title shot. I was thinking maybe I
was gonna be Ousman and somebody else, and then they
said Morales. I'm like, at the end of the day,
I'm a fighter and I'm going to fight winning, So
off to everything, Like, you know, you go out there,
you win shit, more shit's gonna come. So I'm gonna
go out there beat Morales, and then if I get
the title shot next, great. I would love to fight
JD if he wins. I'll love to fight Islam if

he wins. But if I don't get it next, I'm
really not like, I'm not I'm not going to be upset, But.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
Why why are you so patient? Whenever your resume says
that you should be in consideration.

Because if I try to rush it and I try
to do something that's not if I try to take
something that's not for me, something bad is going to happen.
So whatever my path is, that's my path, and I'm
not going to rush it. You know, I want to
fight for a long time and I want to just
keep winning fights, and I just want to I want
to compete, and that's the biggest thing I try about
the compete.

What happened when you're matched up, and then the fight
doesn't happen. Is he getting injured?

I don't know. I don't know.

What do you mean? You don't know what? Again, we're
gonna have to ask Lloyd, get over here, Lloyd, Lloyd,
get over here, Lloyd, what happened? Why didn't it happen? Lloyd?
Was they were you guys were matched up.

was close to pen the paper.

And then what happened?

It just never came there.

It just never Oh, look at Joe Joel will say,

don't know what he was trying to do. Get I
don't know, but it just didn't happen. And then now
here we are, and now I'm fighting Morales and he's

fighting the law.

So yeah, I don't know. But I asked for Usman,
I asked for Gary, I asked for the law. Who
else is ranked?
Speaker 3 (10:54):
I asked for shot cut here, I asked for all
of them. Yeah, and then I get Morales and then
I'm like all right, fuck it, I'm gonna go beat
this kid and then I'll get one of you guys later.
Speaker 2 (11:03):
So yeah, taking the Morales fight, he's a very good
young prospect, yeah for sure. But in terms of style matchups,
it would seem to be one that suits you. Yeah,
do you see that? And go. There's dangers in this fight,
but not necessarily as much because I think I can
control him with my wrestling grappling him.
Speaker 1 (11:23):
There's dangers and everything.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
Like I've watched a lot of your career, especially getting
ready for this fight. You're shorter for the division, but
you go out there and you'd implement your game, put
the pressure on guys, and no matter who you were fighting,
you got the job done. And that's exactly how I
think of it. Like, no matter who it is, I
know I stack up better and I'm going to do
exactly what I do to the guys in the gym.
I'm just going to go out there and do it
to him, and I'm going to win, you know, And
(11:47):
I think I can do that to anybody in the world.
I think, and even if you stuff my takedowns, I
know how to fight on the feet, I know how
to win fights and I'll make it dirty and I'll win.
And I think I'm the best at knowing how to
win win rounds, and yeah, I think I think I
stack up well against anybody.

So what does a Saturday night look like for you?

And then I get my hand raised and then hopefully
you have lets me sit right there and watch the

That was crazy. Was that the craziest ship you've ever seen?

my god, it's crazy.

It was just I think gets a lot of hate
for no reason.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
He's good.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
It is good, and I think he gets a lot
of hate for no reason. But that's a fight that
I want to get back, just.
Speaker 1 (12:45):
As a competitor. I know I wanted to fight him again.
Speaker 2 (12:48):
If you were the champ and then you were trying
to get in the ring in the security with stuff,
I forget my name. No, that was one time, but
that was okay. We were in the Apex. It was
kind of boring. The fight wasn't boring. No, I get it.
I was tired and I had a brain falls. But

you know, sometimes I forget my own name. I just
did it again.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
I I began punching the head.

I know how I got it. I was shorter for
the weight class. I hit it. You expect Joelogy. All right, guys,
