Speaker 1 (00:03):
I reject you, and you're a garbage trash pile the
human This is.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
The Kelly Golden Show podcast powered by Disaster Plumps on
a Big Fail Friday.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
We'll you to that big fail here. Coming up first.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
Six weeks ago, I stood beneath the dome of this
Capitol and proclaimed the dawn of the Golden Age of America.
From that moment dawn, there's been nothing but swift and
unrelenting action. We have accomplished more in forty three days
than most administrations accomplished in four.

Speaker 5 (00:42):
Years or eight years.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
And we are just getting started.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
We are back State Senator Matt Lieber. What an incredibly
historic speech in the floor of Congress in DC from
forty seven. President Trump really is a suring in a
new era in America, the common sense era of America.
We have a long way to go, though, when it
comes to common sense, it's not so common. How are

(01:09):
you What was your favorite part of that speech?

Speaker 5 (01:11):
Great? I'm glad to be on again. Listen. That speech
was just fantastic. I watched the entire thing and at
the end I was looking at the time and I
was like, God, that's just speech. Couldn't have been that long,
but it was. But it was riveting the whole time.
But I tell you, at the very beginning, when Congressman
Green just lost all decorum in all respect for the office,
mister Green, take your.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Seat, Take your seat, sir, take your seat. Finding the
members continue to engage in wilful and concerted disruption or
proper decorum, the Chair now directs the Sergeant at arms
to restore.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
Order, and the stick of the House is not messing around.
He removed him using the sergeant of arms. I thought
that was just incredible.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Welle. He's since been censured in the Medicaid drama that
he was trying to whip up is the most inappropriate
of times. Is it even a part of their spending
bill that literally every single Democrat voted against. You know
what is a part of that spending bill? No Medicaid
cuts like he's out here peddling, which is complete fake

(02:14):
news and so much more that Democrats are trying to
scare monger and fear monger people with. What are part
of those tax cuts are for every one of their constituents,
whether it's no tax on tips, social security, or overtime.
So the Democrat Party, Matt is completely imploding.

Speaker 5 (02:30):
They got to really reassess what they stand for. We
know what we stand for. We just finally have a
president that articulates that. And we have other vetters like
myself that have gotten elected in the last five years
that know how to fight the fight and don't back down.
And I have found myself and a few of those.
I'm looking forward to my no tax on tips bills
for the state getting a committee hearing in the next

(02:51):
week or two, and that's been confirmed. So we're going
to move on. We're going this is how you govern,
this is how you legislate. And Trump setting that example
so boldly, it's empowered me. It's made me want to
be bold, and that's what I'm doing. I'm going to
fight already again with Charleston County so loving it.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Well, so let's talk about that, because when it comes
to our front porch here and we talk common sense,
one would think when you hold office like your self,
Senator Lieber, that you understand that you swear an oath
to our constitution. This is quite literally common sense because
these are the founding documents of our country, the United
States of America. Yet here we have unbelievably so people

(03:29):
serving on boards across our state. We know at least
right here in Charleston County that refuse to swear an
oath to the Constitution because why there are a bunch
of colonizing racists who wrote it. What's going on here.

Speaker 5 (03:42):
Right The words that are coming from the minutes of
this library board is that they don't feel comfortable swearing
an oath to a constitution that's always been in favor
of them. You know, they just make it about them,
and that's not what taking the most honorable oath is.
That's not what it's about. It's a contract with you
and the people, and you're that you will follow the rules,
that you will follow the law, you will respect the law,

(04:04):
and you'll fight for the law. You know, equal protection
under the law. And their refusal to take the oath
is just glaring. Because they handley a budget of forty
five million dollars of taxpayer's money. They set policy that
the common joe on the street must follow. They must
follow this policy when they've said it and they vote
for it, but they themselves will not follow the law.

(04:26):
And I've got an opinion from A. G. Wilson, and
he has made it clear that the law is very
clear that any appointed official at this level has to
take an oath to the Constitution to be duly seated.
I mean poll worker's take an oath all the way
some poll workers the presidents. We take the oath, and
it's not a It should not be a confrontational thing.

(04:46):
It shouldn't be partisan. This is just what we do
as Americans.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
So to be clear, Senator Lee, where we have a
board in Charleston County, the library board. There are many
other boards and commissions, and they're appointed this board. The
library board happens to be appointed by county council members
in Charleston, and that's not a partisan appointment allegedly, But
we know how this goes, whether it's the school board

(05:12):
or any other you know, nonpartisan. I mean eventually you
show your politics. And to me, you are showing your
politics when you refuse to follow the rules, and quite literally,
if the Attorney General's opinion holds the law, which means
you don't get to sit on this board despite being
appointed by the Charleston County council member that appointed you.

Speaker 5 (05:30):
So the Democrats have this problem where they have taught
their people for decades that America is not a fair country.
It is racist, colonizer, whatever all. You know, all the
negative things that they have taught these folks, and then
when they when they do come of age to run
for office or be appointed to something, they just aspouse
that philosophy. It's extremism. It's extremism to run for office

(05:54):
or put yourself on a board. And I also say, well,
I don't love my country, but I want to rule
over the people in this country. Just so hypocritical. And
you know, Charlton County Board, the council noted seven to
two that these folks do not have to take the
oath to the Constitution. Well, I have no problem publicly
fighting this fight and using every tool in my toolbox

(06:18):
to correct this action. Loving America is easy for me.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
The extreme hypocrisy that you talked about we saw on
a national level. We're talking about it on a local
level with the president's speech in the Joint Session of Congress,
when Democrats couldn't be bothered to stand for a thirteen
year old child becoming a Secret Service agent who's kicking cancer.
There is a level with which so many people are

(06:43):
walking away from the Left and their hate for America
and the founding documents and principles of the American Dream,
and quite literally just lack heart. I mean, they're becoming
the Party of hate and there's zero common sense when
it comes.

Speaker 5 (06:57):
To that longer about policy.

Speaker 3 (06:59):
Let's take it there to the right here for a second,
because Charleston County Council on that vote, that vote started
with a Republican and was voted on not only by Democrats,
by other fellow Republicans. So what the hell is going
on in Charleston County on the council here?

Speaker 5 (07:15):
County Council supposedly has a majority, but they do not
govern like Republicans. It's just super clear. And I know
that Larry Dobrowski has gotten really agitated by that situation,
and he made a sort of a gesture recently where
he would not vote for the other so called Republicans

(07:36):
for any of them to take the chair in the
new session. So I understand this frustration he has and
is common to light. It's being exposed. That's what they're
really scared, Kelly in this situation is they know potentially
that I may go and ask all forty of these
something boards all over the county to check on their
oath status, whether they've sworn an oath, and they know

(07:57):
they know they've taught these people this philosophy for decades
that many of them are going to refuse to take
the oaths. But this is great because this is a
chance for us to do real reform in Charleston County
removing these bureaucrats that are anti American. Unelected the best
opportunity we've ever had.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
And elected bureaucrats to these boards who are refusing to
take an oath to the Constitution to meet. That's a
nullification of your position. And then we have to go
back to Charleston County Council members who are allowing this
bad behavior. And I'm looking at Republicans too. I mean,
Joe Boykin, I think you need to be primaried. Herb
sass Moody, he just got into office. These are people

(08:38):
who are on your Republican ballot who just voted with
Democrats to allow these board members to have zero accountability
to our founding documents in the United States of America.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
When you're elected to office, you're elected to make the
hard decisions. You're not elected to hide behind the attorney
that's paid for by whatever board or encity even elected to.
That's not your job. Your job is to make the decisions,
not hide behind the left wing attorney that's making a
decision and giving you cover. And for so long, this
is what they did when I fought them on the

(09:09):
signs at the parks, the open still carry signs allowed,
which were unconstitutional, w against the state law. I fought them.
I had to take budget money away to get them
to acquiesce, and they hid behind the left wing attorney's opinion,
rejected the AG's opinion. It's the same formula they're doing
it now. I'm going to use the same tools to

(09:30):
defeat them, and we're going to have better governance than
Charleston County.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
And it also needs to the names that I just
stated there, they need to be censured by the Republican
Party in Charleston County. That needs to come at the
very least. And I would be concerned if I were
them to be looking to be primary. If they're going
to continue the type of behavior that allows people to
break the law and the rules here, it makes your
job harder. Frankly, I mean, this is ridiculous. We ought

(09:55):
to be all working together towards one common goal, which
is frankly from a national stage. I go back to
Trump's speech, we are in a time and a place
in our country where if you are not fired up
about bringing peace, spreading love, following the rules, then you're
on the wrong side of history. And I make that
point Senator Matt Lieber because people are going to need

(10:16):
to step up, because people are going to get kicked
off those boards. And you need conservative Republicans, independents, people
who are willing to take an oath through our Constitution
to serve on these boards. You're going to have to
step up.

Speaker 5 (10:29):
That's right. I'm going to be calling on volunteers. And
you know, this all started because I got a couple
of volunteers, Conservatives, to volunteer for this position. And they
got on and immediately they were confronted with a pledge
that was made up. And I don't care how old
the pledge is. If it's fifty years old, that's still
a bad thing. I don't care how long you've been
doing it. And they took an exception to it. They said,

(10:52):
wait a minute, we felt like we should be swearing
it out to the Constitution. And they whistle blew it
to me. I took it to the AG, and the
AGS in short order gave me the opinion that it
is state law that they should swear ano to the
Constitution and not some made up pledge. What could go
wrong with a made up pledge? We all know intuitively

(11:13):
it would common sense that someone who will not swear
an oath to the Constitution has also a lot of
other problems, and that person with other problems should not
be governing us. And that's what elections are for. And
there's going to be some elections coming up for County Council.
And my next phone call is to the chairman, Andrew Bouchet,
asking him what he thinks of this situation and what

(11:36):
he thinks the strategy going forward should be with Republicans
that do not immediately make the right decision and show
leadership and tell these board members you must from your
oath to defend the Constitution.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
You have to ask yourself, Matt, when they rewrote this
pledge instead of just making a pledge to the Constitution,
why do you feel like you need to rewrite the
laws if you have no plans on breaking them.

Speaker 5 (12:02):
That's right, and we don't need any new law law
is clear on this issue that they're just going to
face other consequences. I cannot believe that they voted seven too.
They're digging their heels in and you know, do not
want to take the most honorable oath ever American oaths
ever created. They don't, they do not want to take
that oath American. It's not a political thing. It's an

(12:22):
American thing. It's a South Carolina thing, and it's astounding.
And my fellow senators in the delegation, they are backing
me on this. Even Democrats are backing me on this.
And there's going to be more to come. I'm not
operating from a position of weakness here, and I know
the folks support me, but I am getting a lot
of crazy phone calls from the left wing nuts.

Speaker 3 (12:44):
Doos, y'all listen to this, take a listen to this.
This is from the tolerant crowd.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
You're not my representatives. Yeah, it may be forced to
be your constituent, but no, I reject to you. And
you're a garbage trash pile of the human.

Speaker 3 (13:01):
Okay, so many bleeps there, Senator.

Speaker 5 (13:05):
Lab Wow, that's not the only one. I've got dozens
and they're all going to the starting of arms of
the Senate, you know, just for the record.

Speaker 3 (13:12):
So it's just all feelings, no facts.

Speaker 5 (13:16):
It's decades of indocrination on these falsehoods and this hate
of America. And that's fine. They weren't just a free,
free country. You can believe and think whatever you want.
You don't have to take a note, but you just
don't also have to be on the library board. You
don't have to govern or put yourself in positions where
you have governing power over the common citizen. You don't

(13:39):
have to do that. But if you do want to
step forward, there are certain standards that you have to accomplish,
and they are not accomplishing the standard in Charleston County
right now. And I'm going to get to the bottom
of it.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
I'm going to have our current president floor of Congress
lead us out here into the common sense era of
America Senator Matt Lee or anything else before we go.
And by the way, this full speech here coming up.
If you missed on the Floor of Congress, I prescribe
it literally to everyone. Everyone needs to listen to it.
It is the next podcast down right here on the

(14:13):
Kelly Golden Show. You can pause it. You can listen
to it on your lawn drives just like you, Senator
liber when you need inspiration, just go and plug it
in and play it through your car speakers, just a
little by little, because we all need to be coming together.
That phone call is one example, as you mentioned, of
the pushback and the crazy that we are going to

(14:33):
experience over the next four years.

Speaker 5 (14:35):
That's right, and Kelech, I need to know the grassroots
behind me, and I know they are. I just need
to hear from them.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
Thank you so much, Senator, Thank you, my fellow Americans.

Speaker 4 (14:44):
Get ready for an incredible future because the Golden Age
of America has only just begun. It will be like
nothing that has ever been seen before. Thank you, God
bless you, and God bless America.
