am Eastern time, six o'clock Pacific. Uh so, yes we
(01:08):
uh we are on Deshaun Watson Watch. We are waiting
for the decision to be handed down at some point today.
That was the news that came out last night, three
or four lawsuits have been settled. According what you're about
to say is bigger news than the decision coming out,
to be honest, So I just want the punishment that's
being being thrown down or handed. I think this is
(01:29):
you're you're about to put something out there that's more
provocative than that. Yes, well, I was just gonna say,
I hope they don't jerk us around, you know, and
they and they truly do, like give us the decision finally,
so we can move past this so it can be over,
you know, so we can come to an end. That's
(01:50):
that's all I want from all of us, come to
an end. It's after after can we get around of
applause for the face of big new and kickoff everybody?
There he is there is, dude, honest pregame show in
all the land. Its base a big kickoff Brandon Brady
with a wire and I it doesn't matter. That's how
(02:11):
it's done right there, just a broadcast, professional through and
through folks. Just roller coasters can do that to you.
It's just it is amazing. Um all right, bumpy uh
you know nonpaved roads, you know, dirt roads, you know gravel,
they can they can do that to you. You guys
(02:32):
want to come on, come on, all right, this is
always the ones. Here we go, Slivar, get ready to
take center stage. It's so I am the only black
man in the room on the microphone. Here we go.
So Warred Moon. Um, Uh, the Hall of Fame quarterback
(02:53):
the Houston Oiler. Great, yes for you, a newby fanboys
who just came around over the last few years. Uh.
They were the Houston Oilers well before they were the
Tennessee Titans and before the Houston Texans. It was the
Houston Oilers. One of the great uniform combinations, uh in
all of the NFL. And Warren Moon legendary career known
(03:16):
mostly for those years with the Houston Oilers. But he
had a conversation with TMZ Sports about another quarterback, this
quarterback being Kyler Murray, who you know. It was in
the news that there was a a study clause or
a be prepared clause for his games that was wiped out.
(03:36):
They've gotten rid of that clause, did the Arizona Cardinals.
And Warren Moon decided, you know, let's just go ahead
and take this to another level. And here was his
thoughts on the Kyler Murray clause in the contract and
where it stands overall, It's just unfortunate situation. It's a
it's an embarrassing situation for not only the player, Kyler Murray,
(03:57):
but it's embarrassing for the organization to have to to
deal with this. I think it shows a lack of
trust in the player that you even have to put
something in a contract like this. It also has a
slap in the face to all African American quarterbacks because
that's something we were always accused of back in the
day when they didn't let us play as we were
ladd either we didn't study, that we couldn't be leaders,
(04:18):
that we weren't smart. So all those different things just
kind of came to the surface after we had put
all that stuff to bed over the years, just because
of this deal. That's that's going on between Arizona and Kylie.
All right, take it away, LaVar. Let's I can I can.
I can sympathize with I can sympathize with him on
(04:40):
the sense that he feels the way he feels based
off of his experiences. I'll stay that. But to say
that this, you know, and I'll say this, We talked
about this, so me, T J, and Plex talked about
this this weekend. I kind of feel like the code
that was cracked here was interesting, all right, And they
(05:03):
say four hours, all right, four hours Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,
four days before Friday, and maybe you take a Friday
into it, and maybe you take one of the other
days and you don't use that four hours. Is it
possible to think that they were basically putting in his
contract saying that he needed to sit down with his
(05:23):
coach for an hour either before practice or after practice,
to watch film, to continue to study. Now, to me,
I'm not going to take that into every single black
quarterback is dumb or can't comprehend or can't learn offenses,
(05:44):
because I think that would be ridiculous to ever go
down that road, because we've seen plenty of of black
quarterbacks have high success in the National Football League. I mean,
the hottest quarterback in the game arguably outside Aaron Rodgers
or maybe Tom Brady Um is a black quarterback. In fact,
(06:05):
maybe the next two after that or black quarterbacks. So
to me, I'm not a black quarterback, So I'm not
a part of that elite fraternity of guys. But I
can understand from his experiences maybe maybe that might have
conjured up some emotions for him as it applies to
(06:25):
this in particular. But if if you're investing the type
of money that you're investing in and somebody who's gonna
work for you, and you're putting in stipulations and you're
putting in clauses, it could be considered to be a
tap bit touch sensitive to sit there and go all
the way off the rails and say this is racist, this,
(06:47):
this is an embarrassment, This is an indictment on how
you know people feel about black quarterbacks. I think it
could that that could be to me that's I'm not
going down that road because I just know as a
person that that tries to do business and do it
at a high level. If there's something that I can
(07:09):
put in a clause of a contract that's going to
protect my investment in any employee that I'm going to hire,
I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna do it, and I'm
not looking at it and basing it off of the
color of their skin. I'm basing it off of the
results and the production that I want to get. And
I just started thinking to myself because we were talking
(07:29):
about four hours, like four hours sounds weird, Like that
doesn't sound right. That's not a significant enough amount of
time to say you gotta go do this on your
own and we're paying you, or we're putting this in
a clause where you gotta go do it. I think
it's almost like we we talked about, if you're the quarterback,
(07:50):
generally speaking, you should be the first guy in and
you should be the last guy leaving. Like that's just
kind of what comes along with the territory of being
the main the main guy on a team. Just maybe
they're like, we're going to help you, and you know what,
we're putting that clause in your contract. We're gonna sit
with you four hour day. Maybe it's thirty minutes before
(08:12):
practice and we get time to talk and go through
the film or go through the game plan. Maybe it's
thirty minutes after practice, whatever it may be. But it
just seems as though four hours you're building that into
a schedule that he probably should already have. Anyway, that's
kind of how I took it. So the first thing
I'd say, just as a rebuttal to Warren Moon, is
(08:35):
if you're gonna take one contract and apply it to everyone,
then why not take Deshaun Watson's contract, which is the
highest paid, largest contract in NFL history to an African
American quarterback who didn't play a year ago, is currently
about to be suspended here in a few hours. I mean,
what would you view that as? Like that? That that's
(08:57):
that's my only kind of rebuttal. The questions to him
is like, let's not sit here and take every single
or individual you know contract then apply it to everyone,
because it's it's completely unfair to all involved. You know,
this scenario probably played out for exactly a lot of
the reasons LaVar is talking about. There was a concern
(09:18):
about Kyler Murray and whether he's the first guy in
the last guy out, and then maybe trying to structure
to help him with that, or they're trying to say
because based on the clause, it wasn't that he would
be staying longer at the facility. It was actually just
trying to get him to do more work when he's
away from the facility, which they can track all that
stuff so they know how much you're watching when you're
(09:40):
on their actual app and watching tape and all that.
So my inclination is more like, hey, Kyler, when you
leave here, it's not like you stopping the Arizona Cardinals quarterback.
You're still the Arizona Cardinals quarterback. We need you to
continue to prepare even though you're not here, and it's
probably trying to cut away, you know, some of that responsibility.
(10:03):
So when he does get home, he's still watching film,
he's still trying to get ahead and prepare for the
next day. All those things I think are probably more
things that were trying to be constructive with and and
and trying to help him become the player he can become.
I don't I don't know that it was racially racially
motivated by any means. But again, like, it's hard to
(10:24):
have these conversations because you have people who take this
one circumstance and apply it to everyone and and it's like, Okay,
well I take the Shawn Watson's contract, Well, how would
you then describe that, Warren, Like, how would you then
look at that contract? Because I don't know that it
warranted the compensation and a full guarantee for anything he's
(10:46):
done so far. Lamar Jackson's more deserving. There's other quarterbacks
who are more deserving, but they're probably not gonna get
that contract. So when you chalk that up to I mean,
it's just to me, it's it's it's just this is
an individual circumstance where you had a team who wanted to,
in my opinion, put Kyler Murray on notice in regards
to what he was not doing as their leader, as
(11:07):
their quarterback outside of the facility. And that's you know again,
now it doesn't matter because the clause is ripped up.
But as we talked about, you know, earlier about this,
it's out there like if things don't work out, they're
gonna have this as as you know, one of the
things that add up to why he's no longer their
quarterback in the future. And if you're gonna be upset
(11:29):
with anyone, be upset with Kyler Murray's agent, be upset
with his agent. If if there's gonna be any if
there's racism involved, that there's prejudice involved, you know what,
then why do you signed a deal? Be upset? Be
upset with his agent because the agent's job. Because to me,
(11:49):
I've always said, if you you know, the classic definition
of an agent is to seek out and find did
you guys realize that if you hire an agent, an
agent is going out to seek and find something, whether
it's a person, whether it's a job, whether it's a deal,
whether it's uh, you know, whatever it may be. Agents
are hired to go to get things done. Well, when
(12:13):
you're a player that is already getting a job, you
already have your job, You're already going to get a
whole lot of money. You're not looking for anything. So
the least you could do is protect the interest of
your client. That's and I'm gonna tell you, I'm very
touch touch sensitive about agents effing up contracts. Believe you me.
(12:34):
We could do a whole show on how I feel
about agents effing up contract You can find quite a
bit though, if we're doing a show like that. So
so my whole thing is listen, Warrant, I got nothing
but respect for the O G. And he's he's he's like, Warrant,
war Moon is a dope, dude on this one. You're wrong.
(12:58):
That's that one's in. This one is incorrect. Now I
understand where he's coming from. Like I said, experiences can
can dictate what your your perception of reality is. But
Here's what I'd say if if if I asked you
two being both white males, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm
(13:21):
trying to do that, but but just for the point
of I'm trying to make I gotta do that, all right?
Would you guys be terribly offended if if in a
how much is the contract? How much is it? Sixty
million guaranteed? Uh? And it was to god, I forget
like that all these numbers. Would you be Would you
be terribly offended if in a hundred million plus guaranteed
(13:47):
contract that there was language in there that said you
needed to study an extra four hours weekly for a game.
Would you be terribly offended? I would be excited at
out being able to accomplish that clause that I would
be like, Oh, that might be the easiest clause you
have in your contract, but yet we turned everything into
(14:10):
such offensive things. If you told me I only had
to get four hours of lifting in during the course
of a week, four hours of studying in the off
season to collect a two hundred thousand like my my
clause I think was two to three hundred thousand I
would get for my workout clause, And you said, oh,
by the way, and you have to study for an
(14:33):
hour a day. You gotta get four hours of studying
in during the course of the week. I'm just telling you,
I'm I'm I'm not offended by that. I'm not Sometimes
people need to learn what it takes to do what
they need to do better, and not everybody gets incentivized
to do it, and not everybody gets In fact, in fact,
(14:55):
not only do you not get incentivized, but if you
don't learn how to do it, you don't get a
or did a a contract for one and for two,
it could possibly lead to you losing your job. As
Josh Rosen, didn't he get drafted to them? Wasn't he
a top draft pick? How long did that last? Okay,
was that racist? Was it racist to get rid of
(15:18):
Josh Rosen as quickly as they did? Was that racist?
I mean, if if the outrage, if the outrage isn't
always going to be like quarterbacks are quarterbacks. So in
the end, if if you're if you're coming out and
you're having outrage about something that happens to one and
not others, it's kind of like takes away the to me,
(15:39):
the validity of all of it. Like for me, if
if a white quarterback, and I know everybody always says,
well here go, here go where the uncle Tom dudes
go when when stuff like this, But it is what
it is like, it is what it And I'm not
a Uncle Tom at all. I'm I'm I'm as o
g as it gets. But if if if they had
put that clause on a white quarterbacks contract, would there
(16:01):
be any quarterbacks coming out with outrage about this being
some type of prejudice towards white quarterbacks? Would this be
a p And people are like, well, that might be
a dumb point to make because obviously white quarterbacks aren't
judged that way. But the bottom line is is that
that one quarterback is being judged that way. That quarterback
that gets that clause in their contract is being judged
(16:23):
that way. So what's the problem. What is the problem?
Now it doesn't go from being it's about your job
and how that your employer, by the way, wants you
to do your job. It now goes into something different
and you're basing it off of the color of somebody's skin.
I just don't know that that's to me. I'm not willing.
(16:44):
I'm not willing to put my good name on that.
I'm not I'm not gonna die on that hill for
that this discussion. I don't think that we're we're helping
equality and and and equity and and and inclusion and
and equal rights by there dying on the hill about
a four hour we're uh study clause for black quarterback.
(17:06):
I don't. I don't see it that way. So it's
kind of hard. That's that one's that's kind of a
hard one to kind of comprehend. But again, I didn't
go through what warm Moon went through as a black
quarterback either, so I can see it from his perspective.
I just don't think that it's relevant to every single
black quarterback that's ever played this gang. It's two pros
(17:28):
and a cup of Joe here Fox Sports Radio, brought
to you by Discover. We can talk about how complicated
other banks make it to redeem credit card rewards, or
we can talk about how we Discover you can redeem
your rewards for cash in any amount at any time.
I mean, talk about amazing learn more discover dot com
slash redeem rewards terms apply. All right, it's coming up next.
There's been a change made to the NFL during training
(17:49):
camp this season, but not everybody is a big fan
of it. We will get into that for you right
here on fs are. Be sure to catch live editions
of Two Pros and a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn,
LaVar Errington and Jonas Knocks week days at six am
Eastern three am Pacific on Fox Sports Radio and the
I Heart Radio. You got problems, man? Oh man? You
(18:16):
think they called it Jack in the Box? Huh? Jack
in the Box? Yeah? Why do you think they named
it that? I don't know. It's like it's an old jack,
old school toy. You know where Sean that is an
old school jeez h I mean, I mean big new
(18:38):
kickoff this fall Saturday's wait hold on down, you went first.
I don't know if people caught that. The the the
the the oh man? Uh it is two Pros clown
(19:00):
on Fox Sports Radio. Uh so yeah, we are going
to uh one. We are awaiting the decision on the
Deshaun Watson punishment. Are they gonna come down while we're
on air? That's the report that it's going to be
made by nine am Eastern time. That's one of the reports.
It's out there so well, that's we were just finishing yeah,
(19:21):
so we could have we gonna have something there all right.
By the way, if they screw us out of this,
we know that's gonna come right after we're off the
Nobody has earned the right to talk about this first,
more so than this show, because we have spent so
many shows having to go over this garbage. Already called
money on it. It's four to six. We've already called
money on it, like and we called it long before
(19:43):
people started turning their attention to saying it was less
more rather than more. I want it, I want it
to drop, we want on the air. Yes, yes, we
earned this, we deserve this. We deserve this better believe it.
Maybe we'll go a little longer. Yeah, well, sorry, dad,
you're gonna have to hold up. You're gonna have to
(20:04):
wait until this this this decision comes up. You imagine that.
I wonder how that would play out. They'd be like
dan um um Jonah said that you had to wait
until the Shaun Watson. By the way, we are going
to have a verdict, I think, ye. Yeah, it's it's
(20:25):
technically kind of a just not so we are thank
you there there it is. What was that? What was
the sound of that was play that again. Yeah, that
was that was Seawan dropping his towel was hitting off
the wall, off the wall. So we towel supposed to
(20:48):
sell off the wall. Uh so we have. So we're
going to get that decision hopefully before we go off
the air. By the way, we do have an F
s R. I are coming up in fifteen minutes from now.
And reportedly there was another another Tales from the Road,
a two Pros and a Cup of Joe adventure starring
Brady quinn U. It may involve LaVar's airplane toilet shots
(21:15):
out to my my Twitter account, Yeah, airplane to shots
out so um. Robert Sala, the head coach of the
New York Jets, he had some opinions on the new
what do they call those guardian helmets? They look like yeah,
they look like what you get from when they're making
balloon animal hats. Um, and they like you put it
(21:37):
on your head. Uh, it looks like one of those.
But players are wearing these training camp like really padded.
And Robert Sala, the Jets head coach, had this to
say about it. I think the spirit of it all,
I think is really good. I think it's got benefits.
I think there's balance and everything right. Too much of
anything is a bad thing, and I do think because
of the soft blow, it's kind of lending the players
(21:59):
using or heads a little bit more. It's just interesting
with those guardian caps and and what exactly are we
trying to accomplish a right uh, not getting concussed in practice.
I mean that could be one thing. That's obviously what
he you know, everyone's trying to prevent the repetitive hits
which lead to obviously for their head injuries. I think
(22:23):
the point he's making, and this is one of the
things that like being in Seattle, you know back when
when you know he was there, and and then looking
at Pete Carroll some of the guys, the way they
coached stuff. One of the things that was very apparent
is you know they brought in some of the best
rugby tackle specialists. This goes back to two thousand and thirteen,
Like they were ahead of everyone. They were trying to
(22:44):
get everyone to try to you know, rap and roll
with the way you know rugby stop. You know players
would do it. And I think his point is more
when you add more padding to something, you're gonna allow
then players to have this false sense of security of
how it feels what in reality, Like they're using their
head probably more than they should. Like if you didn't
(23:05):
have a helmet at all, you wouldn't try to use
your head at all because you don't have any padding.
Like it's it's it's similar to like UFC gloves versus
boxing gloves and the amount of force you're able to
put into a punch in boxing versus what you're doing
in UFC. Now you might say, well, it's gonna be
the same, but most people would say, like it's it's
(23:26):
not quite the same because you know, you can be
able to throw a harder punch with a boxing glove
than you are with a with a non padded glove
like that like you're having like you have in USC UFC.
Excuse me, so that it's it's kind of more that
logic to it. Like I understand where he's coming from
what with all this, but it's one of those changes
where like like the NFL is trying to make it safer,
the NFL p A is trying to make it safer.
(23:48):
You just gotta go with it, whether you think, and
you gotta figure out a way around it. If that
is the issue you're you're looking at, but you would
obviously be able to speak to it better. Everybody doesn't
wear them, for one, and that should be noted like
I think they're trying too though are they I don't know,
but everybody doesn't wear them, Like there's certain positions that don't.
They don't wear them. But when you're talking about like
(24:10):
for me, it's not even about the tackling part. It's
I would say, it's more for the lineman. If you
want to have some full contact with your lineman and
and save them some of the blows that that take
place because there's you know, there's no way to fully
get your head out of contacts way as alignement and
(24:34):
and so your head, your head is going to be
a part of contact. So I think when you when
when you touch those helmets, like you you For me,
the first thing I thought is improve the padding on
the inside of the helmet, which that's been There's been
a ton of studies, there's been a ton of of
upgrades and technology as to how the insides of of helmets.
(24:57):
Like I remember when I was coming through air was
like the deal, like if you get you an air
helmet like that was the deal because you could put
the air in it the bladders. But but now it's
like way more sophisticated and and they're not as heavy
like air helmets were heavy as hell. My last year
(25:20):
in the league, they started implementing that new technology and
the helmets were actually lighter. But but there's still that
idea of the layer of contact, the layer between you know,
your head and stuff like that versus you know, I
guess from the outside of your helmet to the inside,
if you add an extra shell layer to the outside
(25:42):
where it dolls the you know, takes the energy and
dolls the energy that's being exchanged when you hit each other.
I think that that's the idea of it. You know,
when you're using those those I call them bonnets, even
in even in uh even in seven on seven, And
so to me, I think it's more about just dulling
the contact of of hitting, you know, making contact hit
(26:06):
the head as it applies. More so to me, I
would say with lineman like linebackers, sure, if you're in
like nine on seven half line drills, tackling drills, sure
you want to protect their heads if you're taking on blocks,
you know, different things like that. I'm a butter like
you're taught to butt right like I'm I was six three,
(26:30):
you know too, to fifty. Some guys are smaller. But
one thing you're taught to do is you grab you
grab a three pound man and you butt him in
his in his in his face mask, like the bottom
of his face mask, and and you take that face
mask into his chin like you're taught those different techniques.
So there are certain things that you want to learn
(26:51):
to do and and and I think it's a part
of the game because if I wasn't able to but
a dude, if I couldn't but John Jansen or or
Hutchinson or Walter Jones and in the bottom of his
his chin and his his helmet, his face mask, I
wasn't getting off that block. If I couldn't but Jonathan Ogden,
(27:12):
I'm not getting off of that block. So I have
to find a way to even the playing field as well.
You punch somebody in their chin, they're gonna think about
what's going on. And butting somebody is is almost the
equivalent of punching somebody in their chin. So to me,
I understand where where the coaches coming from in his
logic of it. But I also understand the idea of
(27:34):
dulling the blows but still getting your reps. Like that
butt is not gonna be as good with that helmet on.
It's gonna be a dull blow. It's gonna you're gonna
fill the cushion of making that butt. But nonetheless, you
still got your rep. And and it was an impactful
but and I got I got to see what it
looks like. I got my aiming point of it without
hurting my teammate and without hurting myself. So I think
(27:57):
there are benefits to it, you know. And and and
you know, you just got yeah, a lot of butts, Yeah,
especially a lot of butts. Yeah, yeah, definitely, especially in
the trenches. Yeah, definitely. Yeah, a lot of a lot
of love budding going on. Sam, You're an idiot, oh man.
(28:18):

Pros and a Cup of Joe Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington,
Brady Quinn, Jonas Knocks with the Here on FS are
coming up top the next hour. About fifteen minutes from now,
we are going to uh to Maybe I actually have
some news on Deshaun Watson, who knows the clock is ticking.
If we can get get our licks in on this
(29:46):
before before we go off the air at nine Eastern times,
so uh, stick around for all that. Right now, though,
it is time for a weekly tradition. Every single Monday,
it's called this look after you, our sports weekend happens.
So it's time to get the f s. Are our
(30:07):
report right? And the way we go? Now? Do we
want to start with with Brady your tail from your
travels across the country to uh to l A here?
Do you want to get into it or what I mean?
We can't if you'd like? It's not really about me
though this this might turn this segment into a tailspin too.
Lord only knows where. Well you're gonna need the proper
(30:29):
music for a two PC o J. So here we go.
We got your cover to her Brady Live Studio band,
you know l A County. Everybody massed up Brady all right,
so away we go. Yeah. So on the flight out,
you know, between the sides doing some work, doing some
school work, I was like, all right, I might need
to put something on TV to watch while I'm doing this,
(30:50):
So I put on some Liam Neeson movie, which they're
all the same. At some point, someone kid naps his
family ever since Taken, It's all the same. Someone kidnaps
his family, he's like killing people and you know, kicking
ask to get back, well, I had to text my
buddy the meat Wagon and he's like, hey, what are
you doing on the plane. I go, I'm watching some
(31:10):
awful Liam Neeson movie that's the exact same as Taken,
just not called Taken. He goes, do you know Liam
Neeson constantly pieces pants? I said, I was not made
aware of when Yeah, he goes do you know Liam
Neeson constantly pieces pants? And I was like, what do
(31:31):
you mean? He's like google it? And so sure enough
I went down that wormhole or rabbit hole of googling
Liam Neeson, which there's a ton of photos of him
in public's pet his pants and I don't know if
it's like out of being like really drunk, or if
it's like, I don't know, something cool now depends the
(31:58):
gons sake? Do you he said, I'm not making this up.
It's so I asked him, I, well, how do you
know this? And he was like, oh, I listened to
a Joe Rogan podcast where I was mentioned, he said,
And then I couldn't help myself, but look it up
to confirm if it was factual. He's like, sure enough.
(32:21):
There are columns, countless photos and sights talking about pants.
By the way, some of these aren't even just like
because like if you're a guy out there, I mean,
you know every guy's had had that issue before. It's like, man,
he thought, I thought everything got taken care of. And
then some of these are just egregious, Like I don't
(32:44):
even have time to get to a yurnal cake and
put the fire out early. These are egregious, old man
right there? Yeah, is that what that is? Like? Uncontrollable
platter depend he's got I got leakage. It's uh, I
(33:06):
just address it. These are like, this is a legitimate Brady,
you are right this there's a legitimate articles That is
just crazy. I'll never I'll never look at the same
I mean, he's got unique talents, basically a seventy years old.
But when you type in Liam Neeson, the second thing
that comes up is pieces pets. Oh my god, like
(33:29):
you know, I mean I got news for you. Yet,
if it became the difference between saving my family and
not saving my family, was Liam Neeson? And I saw
that he had pete himself in the front. I'd be like, dude,
get out of here, Like I like, I'll figure something
like I'm not just waiting for the movie where it's
more realistic where they can't hide it anymore. And in
(33:51):
the movie shows up to save his family and he's
got pet his pants all over himself, like that's just
that's part of the movie. Always Wow, why ever wear
light pants when you know you potty yourself? And Andy
never And there's just like it's like no facial no
facial expression, no, no looking down at it, like oh
not again, Like he's just he's just going about his business.
(34:14):
And Brady, Brady, you're you're right. Uh, not exactly the
the story. I thought we were going to hit from
your travels. But he's always like a master and one
of in in the movies. Again he's in, like isn't
he in? Uh? Like Batman is being like like one pants, Yeah,
(34:38):
you know what you gotta go, you gotta go, you go. Um,
I was I was injured this weekend. Come on tell
me so. I was at a Kincanetta. Um for those
of you are Kincanetta. Ye, so in the in the
in the Mexican Sure did this weekend. This Uh so
(35:01):
when when a young lady turns fifteen years old they
have a big party for it's I mean, it's a
huge yeah, Okay, I don't get it. All right. It
was church in all Spanish, of course, so that was fun.
Uh it was I don't I don't, I don't get it.
When I turned fifteen years old, I got like a
(35:22):
bag of funyans and like a gift card to some
store like I don't remember, but fifteen years old, it's church.
It's dancing, the whole presentation crazy. And we were there
hanging out with my son, and my wife's out, you know,
with her family, and they're dancing and and all that.
I'm just, you know, standing there holding my son, and
(35:42):
I turned my head to the right right as he
goes to high five my face and he thumbed me
in the eye. And it's still scratched, like I still
it's still a little bit blurry um like it. It's uh,
it waters periodically ever since then. And so I'm thinking
to myself, I don't know if I've got like a
(36:03):
scratch cornia or what. But my son basically turned me
into a cyclops for the rest of the time at
at the Kincanea and so I'm but I'm fighting through
all of that to be here to do this show.
Not just want you guys to know this. Yeah, Bill
for this, you better believe it all for this, Yeah,
(36:24):
is a little bit more lighthearted. I mean, you know,
as usual, I was double fisting. I was double fisting.
They were Pacifico doing Pacifico and Long Islands this this
last Friday. Um yeah, I made friends. Well, I made friends.
You know I always make friends at the bar, So
(36:44):
we made we made friends. I was eating my wings.
I had the barbecue saracha and uh the taryaki uh
wings shouts out to my people at the Stubborn Mule.
Uh yeah. And for you know it, I was like,
you know, we were all buying each other around. Like
(37:05):
you know, I'll never understand when you buy somebody around
and they buy you around, and then you buy you'd
like keep buying each other rounds, like you're just canceling
each other. You're just canceling your own round. But I
guess it's the camaraderie that you build. Um. I double
fisted my my normal double fisting, and um yeah, I
had to sit there for a little bit. You know,
(37:25):
I ate my food, but I had to sit at
that bar and hang out for just a little bit.
I would. I was a tabit banged up. It was early.
I was a tab bit banged up. Man. I hit
happy hour. That's probably like the first time I've hit
happy hour and like years, get loose, Yeah, I never
come on, now, come on, get loosen the building I did.
(37:48):
I definitely did. Did you did you roll there alone
just to get something to eat? You know? I did?
Made friends and out and we were just getting it in.
Do they know who you are? Like when you going there?
They don't act like they do until you get going,
Like I knew who you were, and then it goes there.
But it's fine, Like when you do it the way
(38:09):
we did it on Friday, it was fine. I don't
want to feel awkward about double fisting. I would have
probably paid my tab and went home and did my
double fisting in my backyard. Yeah yeah, But the way
the way they did it was like a group of them,
it was pretty cool. We had a really good time.
How about it? Too good of a time? I was
banged up. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk
