two pros and a cup of Joe. You don't believe us,
take a listen to this as we get ready for
a football Friday. Yeah, jut stoves hammers talk a little

(02:02):
down beat him that wada were talked. Oh man, all right,
just unbelievable. All right, So it is a football Friday
here on fs ARE. And obviously college football has been
a major topic of conversation. We're gonna get into that.

(02:24):
It was a big time matchup last night. As we
talked about Penn Stay getting it done. We also talked
about the backyard brawl a little bit. So we're gonna
get into more college football stuff coming up here shortly
on fs are Do you want to get into the
very latest on one of the most entertaining dramas in
the NFL, which would be the Jimmy Garoppolo situation in
San Francisco. So he is obviously back with the forty Niners.

(02:47):
He's now back up to Trey Lance there. It's been
sort of this, uh, kind of a grinning all the
way through this very awkward situation. Uh. Here was Jimmy
Garoppolo speaking for the first time post signing back with
the forty Niners and restructuring his deal, and listen, he
talked about how this isn't exactly a blow to his

(03:07):
ego and some other things. Here was Jimmy g yesterday.
If that's gonna take a blow to your ego, you
got you got. You gotta check your ego a little bit.
But no, I think you gotta know who you are
in this league, who you are as a player, who
are as a person, And I think that's going to
carry you a long way. And so that's why I'm
really not too concerned about that. It was weird. It
was different than any situation I've ever been in. I've

(03:28):
been some weird ones too, so that's saying something. But no,
it was. Um, I think things worked out for the bust.
You know, there was a lot of ups and downs,
rocky roads here and there, but I think throughout the
whole thing. Me, I'm happy with where I'm at, happy
to be with Niners. I think the Nins are happy
to have me back, and I think things are working
out pretty well. I didn't you at any point just
say hey, I've done some good stuff here, released me

(03:51):
let me go find place. Well, that just wasn't the
way I wanted to go. I think that that there
was a thought of that at one point, trust me,
there was, but um, that came and went, and I
don't know, things just kind of kept falling into place.
And I'm one of those people that, you know, I
don't want to really ruffle the feathers too much here

(04:12):
and there and kind of just go with the flow.
And that's kind of the way the training camp was going,
and I was happy with it. And uh, like I said,
things worked out and I'm happy. Now. Let me tell you,
I like Jimmy Garoppolo. I really do. Like there's just
there's no it just feels like there's no drama, Like
there's no like, no issues. He's not You're not gonna
he's not gonna get up there and cause me. Yeah,

(04:34):
of course there's drama, but but he's but he's not
at the root of it in the sense that he's
not speaking publicly and and causing a bunch of a
bunch of issues. I actually think him being there is
going to be a little awkward for Tray Lance. But
Jimmy Garoppolo doesn't strike me as the type of guy
who's going to be a major pain in the ass.
He's going to help out as much as he needs

(04:56):
to help out people. Forget he was a back of
quarterback for a long time underneath Tom Brady. Like he's
it's not like he hasn't played this role before. I
just I love the way he played this entire thing
and and just the whole back and forth and to
see how it plays out now that John Lynch, on
the other hand, um, you know, he's made mention of
this multiple times about Garoppolo getting the decision to have

(05:18):
the surgery, and so John Lynch also spoke yesterday, and
I believe this is the third time that he's made
mention of Garoppolo getting this surgery and why they weren't
able to get a deal done because of it. Here
was the Niners GM. What I can't tell you is,
you know, with great confidence is like combine time. You know,
there were really serious talks with I say serious, probably

(05:39):
two three teams that that I felt like, you know,
you'd have to ask them like this was going to happen.
And then that's when that's news broke, you know. So
then things went where they went, and and you know,
we talked a lot about the other day as to
why we arrived at where we're at. But I'm glad
that we've arrived where we're at. But after he got healthy,
there those conversations never got back to that point where

(06:02):
you were in February, and that's why we were a
little at a loss, you know, because you know, you
can you can talk to his doctor, you can talk
to our doctor, he can talk to a lot of people,
and he was doing well. But we're happy that they didn't.
You know, we're happy that he's here. Yeah, sure you are, Yeah,
sure you are. That's why you brought it up so
many times this offseason. Got we had something on the

(06:22):
table and he just decided to have this surgery. Like
I think the whole thing is hilarious. I I can't
get over. How how see, they're gonna try and give
the whole smile through and give the fake smiles and
the passive aggressiveness. You know, they've got to be a
little bit annoyed and ticked off that he got the
surgery and their trade, their chances to pick up something

(06:43):
in return for a trade are now gone. Like, you know,
that has to be there for him. You know what
I heard out of out of it with the coach
is basically he's going to take it how he gets it,
and that just seems to be the d n a
of of a Shanahan. I'm gonna tay a get how
I get it. Whatever personnel I have, I'm a maximize

(07:03):
that personnel that I have because they just have that
much confidence in their knowledge of how the games work.
You know how how you know, I guess game planning works.
But what I heard from Garoppolo and the reason why
I said it's going to be drama is going to
be a problem if you're listening to the fine print

(07:25):
things that he's saying, like it's all falling into place,
you know, different things, like I felt comfortable with with
doing this. I checked my ego at the door. This
is still his team. Yeah, in his mind. If you're
listening to how he's answering and how he's responding, he's
responding like a leader, and he's responding like somebody who's

(07:48):
like Decimus Maximus Meridius from the Felix Tribes or Felix
Allegiance where he still runs the military like he's the
leader of the military. So if this thing doesn't go
right for for Trade Lance, he's not going to skip
a beat coming in and taking over for Trey Lance

(08:08):
because they're already his his warriors, it's his army. That's drama,
if you're paying attention. That's the drama of all of
this falling into place. Okay, you got a good enough
deal done where you didn't have to relocate, You don't
have to go learn a new playbook, you don't have
to go, you know, introduce yourself to new people, a

(08:30):
new city, new new locker room. You have everything that
you had as a starter, and and to show humility
and to humble yourself and say I'll be okay in
a backup role, you just gotta ask yourself how long
is he going to be in a backup role. It's
also I think ideal situation Braham would have been he

(08:52):
ends up going someplace competing for a starting job and
he's a starting quarterback somewhere else because he wants to start,
of course, and he doesn't. He would he would rather
start than be a backup. So when he says, look,
this isn't exactly the way that I wanted to go. Yeah,
I mean he would like to be the starter. But
I think he also sees this to your point as hey, man,
I got I got really good relationships with a lot

(09:14):
of guys on this roster, Like, have you heard any
any teammate. One of the things that came out of
the Baker Mayfield Brown stuff is, after you know all
the stuff came out about Baker Mayfield, you never heard
Brown's players speak out in defense of him. If anything.
You heard Odell Beckham's dad make comments, You heard other

(09:35):
players you know, make mention of stuff on social media,
and nobody really had his back. Man. George Kittle has
had his back multiple players on that team about his back.
Trey Lance has had his back and talked about how
tremendous he was for him last year as a rookie,
like him being there. I think Rob looked and said,
ideal situation. I can go be a starter somewhere else,

(09:56):
but if I got to be a backup, wouldn't you
rather be with all the guys that you No, we're
going to have your back, no pun intended, And he's
gonna and he's gonna be there with an opportunity if
Tray Lance gets injured, if Garoppolo goes in there and
plays well and he's healthy and he ends up playing
good football, and say they improve over going through some
of the young mistakes with Trey Lance. All of a sudden,

(10:18):
he's played himself into a potential starting job next year.
And I think it makes it just yeah, like or
maybe even this year. Yeah, maybe this year year. I
just the whole thing is pretty entertaining and pretty fun
to watch, just to see, just to see how it's
all played out. And Garopplo just seems like he's playing
it smooth man, just playing it cool. Just they you know,

(10:40):
this is this is the situation I'm in. This is
where I'm at, and uh, you know, I'd like to
be some hey, but I'm gonna go ahead and try
and make this work as best as possible. And now
Kyle Shanahan's got to try and juggle that that whole
situation and being asked constantly about it because he's now
going to be the most talked about backup quarterback in
the NFL. Jimmy garoplo At, is this don't you wish?

(11:02):
Did you ever have a situation in the NFL where
you had a quarterback situation like this, like a quarterback
battle like this or some sort of a controversy. Do
you ever have that? Of course I did? Who was it?
Was it? Uh? What was bred Johnson? And who? And
who was the other guy Jeff George? And uh? And

(11:23):
what was that? Like? What was the issue like in
the locker room? Who did you who did you want
as the quarterback? There were there. I don't know that
there was any issues, but I do think that we
did have a divided a divided group of who thought
would be the better person at at starter, you know,
coming in, I mean I was a rookie, so it

(11:44):
wasn't like I had to say what I was just
trying to get, you know, acclimated to being in the league.
But you know there was some guys that were like,
you know, Brad Johnson was there. He was a part
of the playoff run the year before. They did pretty well.
I think they wanted to division, to be honest, um,
and and then you bring in Jeff George as a

(12:05):
high a high profile backup, and I'm gonna just be
honest with you. You go out on the field, you
could see that that Brad had the leadership qualities over
over Jeff George. But when that ball came off of
Jeff George's hand, everybody was like god, you know, like
look at that like and I guess more specifically the

(12:29):
the onlooking owner because Jeff George ended up being the
one that was playing the most. I believe that from
from that two thousand seasons. So you know, you're when
you're a part of and I've always been a part of.
One thing about Washington, there's always going to be a
quarterbacks controversy because it's just quarterback is such an important

(12:51):
position to that franchise. You know, you're talking about Sammy
Ball and Sonny Jurgensen and then Joe Gibbs one. You know,
all those Super Bowls with a different quarterback Doug will
yak Ripping man Mark Ripping. So there's always has been,
you know, a high standard for a quarterback that I

(13:12):
never thought about that he did win super Bowls with
different quarterbacks every time. Wow, that's impressive. He had them hogs. Yeah,
when you got them hogs, you know you could drop
that hammer, don't we? All right? Yeah, yeah, I hear you.
Good point, man, I know what you're talking about. You
know what you're talking about. That's two different things, is um. So.

(13:36):
So Jeff George could spend it though. So he got
there and just started throwing it around, and you were like, oh, yeah,
that's that's a lot different than what I've seen before.
I had never seen a ball moved like that up
until that point. He turned threw it that hard. It
was just the way it looked when he threw it.

(13:57):
It was like, Wow, this is the pros. Yeah, yeah,
a lot of realization there. So you know how it
plays out in San Francisco, I don't know. I will
say this, we didn't make the playoffs that year. So
sometimes a divided locker room on decisions such as who's
your quarterback going to be can ultimately be an undoing

(14:19):
of a team or part partially a part of why
there's an undoing of the team. Got feeling, does it
Garoppolo start a game this year for the matter? I
think that listening to his press conference, he believed, he
believes he's he knows he's going to to play for them,
he knows he's gonna hold a significant role. Like I said,
I think the way he stayed at that he's still

(14:40):
the leader. It's like I'll take a step back. I'll
take a step back, but this all falls in place
like this works to my advantage. I'll be back this year.
So but that could that could work against him. I'm
just telling you. I mean, if you're a Garoppolo fan,
you like this. If you're a Tree Lance fan, if

(15:03):
you're a forty Niners fan, I don't know that you
like this. Yeah it's uh yeah, a lot of it
seems like a lot of drama that going on there.
But if you're none of those and you're just on
the outside looking in, I'll take it. This is gonna
be a lot of fun to see how this stuff.
This stuff works here, I can dig it. With the
Niners opening up their season at the Bear, so at
least they get a bye week to start off the year.
It is Two Pros and a Cup of Joe, Fox

coming up next. We are going to get into some
comments made by a personnel member in the NFL about

(15:45):
maybe their best player and whether or not we believe
any of this is legitimate. We'll get into that for
you right here on FS are be sure to catch
live editions of Two Pros and a Cup of Joe
with Brady Quinn, LaVar Errington and Jonas Knocks week days.
It's sick Say I'm eastern three am Pacific on Fox
Sports Radio and the I Heart Radio. Two Pros and

(16:07):
a Cup of Joe, Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Jonas
Knox with you here on FS are coming up later
on this hour. A little over twenty minutes from now,
we are gonna have the scraps in place of the
b Q news with Brady Quinn being out today. But
we do have some bad news for one team in
the NFL, A very good team in the NFL, in fact,
a team a lot of people predict are going to

(16:27):
be a sure fire playoff team. Some bad news for
them as they open up their season very very soon.
We'll get into those details for you here coming up
in about twenty minutes from now. Yeah, I was gonna
ask you, uh, sticks you mentioned grapefruit in tequila. Isn't
that Isn't is that called a greyhound or is that vodka?
They call it a paloma. Isn't that a paloma? Lea?

(16:49):
Can we get a confirmation on this, because that's I've
been stumped on this the whole show, because I thought
a greyhound was was grapefruit and vodka. But we are
going to get answer to that from from Lee to
Lap here, depending on how good the WiFi is here
in the studio. Well, actually, what I'm seeing is that
a greyhound is, of course grapefruit, but gin really, but

(17:12):
I I've always known it as vodka. I think it's
commonly more common as a with VODCA grapefruit vodka. What
about grapefruit in tequila. What is that called palm delicious?
It's called a It is a paloma. It's why a paloma?
What does poloma mean? Berno? Does paloma means something in Spanish?

(17:32):
It's a bird, It's all right. So I'm called this
a dog too, by the way, salty dog, grapefruit and
gin or vodka. Oh, allan, I think that's when you
put a salt on the rim. Though. Yeah, we'll go
with We'll go with paloma. That works, all right. So
so paloma some pen stey palomas. Get to get it done.

(17:56):
I am hurting. That's that's right, you know what though,
I mean we're battling through where we're in the the
the final stretch of this uh, this fine radio program
here on a football Friday. Um, and do you want
to listen to a front office guy and you determine
whether or not they're full of crap? All right? So
this is this is Ryan Poles. He's the new GM

(18:18):
of the Chicago Bears. It's been kind of an odd
off season for the Chicago Bears. And then you've got
ro Kuan Smith, uh, their star linebacker, two time second
team All Pro guy who was looking for a contract extension.
He's playing underneath the fifth year option a little under
ten million dollars this season. Wanted to get a long
term deal done. It did not happen. He's representing himself

(18:42):
and so ro Kuwan there's a lot of feelings heard
about some of the offers that were made to him,
and ro Kuan Smith decided, all right, I'm gonna come
back and play, but then I'm gonna bet on myself
like I've always done. And now you've got Ryan Poles,
who was speaking yesterday about the situation here was the
Bears GM. He said it perfectly. We've shifted gears and
it's all ball now. UM, So it really doesn't make

(19:04):
sense to go back and go through all that. Um.
And the one thing, he doesn't get enough credit for
being able to change gears like that and going out
and just playing football and doing it the right way.
And I'm I'm proud of him for handling that way
and he's out there and we're better because of that.
So you know, I don't I really don't want to
go back into the whole contract than that's it's human nature.

(19:26):
When you know things happen and two sides don't agree
on something. It's gonna take a little time to do that,
and I got a lot of faith that that's gonna happen,
and I'm excited for him. Well, first of all, it's
a good player that's never changed and he's a good dude.
So I have faith that he's gonna have a good
year and we'll you know, work on our relationship and
all that. It's uh, and it's not it's not even

(19:46):
like a bad thing either. It's just when we've all
been there, right, you have disagreements and then you got
to come back together and be teammates. So that's what
I expect. All right, so you've played, you've been to me, okay,
But like, here's the thing. He could be totally honest,
But do you think they're going to get a deal done?
I mean, if they're they're at this point and they

(20:07):
couldn't get it done before. If he goes out and plays, well,
the price is only going to go up, right, Yeah,
I mean, yes, yes, that is the the idea of it,
but the approach of it has to still be. There
has to be a want by the team to keep
the services of the player that that you're trying to

(20:29):
figure out a contractual situation with I think if if
if the GM in this circumstance is being being deceptive,
it's it's like, for what you know, there's no reason
to be deceptive about wanting to keep a player. That's
that's the first part of it. You know. Now some

(20:50):
would argue, well, you want to keep their draft I mean,
they're their their trade value high, and you want them
to think that you want them and this that another,
and that may well be the case here. I just
I heard I felt like I heard sincerity and and
and I just felt a genuineness and how he delivered
what he was saying. So if they don't get it done,

(21:13):
then and it would be interesting to hear the scenario
as to why it didn't get done. If it never
got done, because you do have a a very talented
player that can make your team better. And and you know,
we all know that the Beers having been better. So

(21:35):
so if you got one guy on your your roster,
they they have a few players and you know they
they've acquired some guys that can make their team better
as well. Um, I think there's some genuineness in him
saying that he wants to get this done. The question
is how far apart are they Because if they're really

(21:55):
far apart, then it's there's a strong chance that even
though that's something that he wants to get done, and
they feel the way that they feel about you know, Roquan,
they may cut their losses if they feel like they
can't close the gap good enough where a they can
get him signed and be he doesn't become a distraction
to the rest of the team. You know, I took

(22:16):
it the same way. I actually I thought Ryan Poles
came across really well there. Um like he didn't sound
like a GM like you could tell that he that
he was a former player because he did play. I
don't know if he you know, played in games, but
I know he was, you know, invited to training camps
and all that. And he has been with the Chiefs
organization for a long time and that's as well run

(22:38):
of an organization as you can as you can think of,
as far as some of the stuff they've been able
to put together under Andy Reid. And he was well
thought of as a guy that was a potential you know,
GM and waiting and running a team for years and years.
So you hear him talking to go. Well, you can
understand why he got the gig and why so many
people like the guy. He came across as very likable.

(22:59):
I I just think people underestimate what a disaster it
was that he took over like he probably when he
came in, he probably didn't like that he had to
get rid of Khalil Mack. He probably didn't want to
do that. You know, he probably didn't want to have
to see Allen Robinson leave. He probably didn't want to
have to see a lot of these guys, you know,
leave the organization. But he realized, all right, we're in

(23:21):
cap hell. Uh yeah, if we're it's a disaster when
we're a bad football team. So he unfortunately has to
be the guy and and you know, the messenger of Hey,
you guys were worse than you even realized, and let
me explain how this gets better. We now have to

(23:42):
get even worse to try and tear this thing down
and build it back up. Oh and by the way,
we've got a young quarterback here, and let's hope that
we can provide enough around him to to get a
real read as to whether or not he's the guy,
because if not, we're gonna be picking near the top
of the draft and we may be in the market
for one of these other quarterbacks there. They're just they're
a bad team. And when you see this stuff play out,

(24:02):
you know a lot of times it's easy to just
point fingers at the person making all the cuts and
making all the trades and the decisions. But it's like, dude,
what do you what do you want him to do?
I mean, like he's trying his best. He would love
to keep ro Kwan Smith, but he's adamant. They've got
a direction that they want to head in. And now
you're just in this situation where if ro Quan plays
well and the price tag goes up, I mean, I

(24:24):
mean they could franchise him. I mean that that's always
on the table. Next year, they could they could tag
him if they wanted to. So it doesn't mean that
he's just gonna be gone. But I just wonder, you know,
from somebody who's been in these negotiations, is a really
good player in the NFL. If you heard your GM
speak publicly like that, how would that change the way
you felt about the situation, if at all? Yeah, I
don't think it changes the situation. Um, I think it

(24:48):
ultimately is what it is, right like either you're going
to do a deal or we're going to be at odds.
You can say what you say and there can be
genuineness and there there could be honesty in there. But
the bottom line is is that you're you know, just
like players are measured and weighed by their production and
by their actions, so is everyone else. So is the owner,

(25:12):
So is is the GM, so is the coach. It's
a production business. You want to produce. Produce me a contract,
produce a contract. We could be on the Bros Bros Kick.
We can be friends of sounds as though he has
a personal relationship with real quant you know, we can
be on that. But there's business and then there's personal.

(25:35):
And when it when it's about the business, it's about
the action. So if you're thinking all of those things
and you're putting that out to the public for consumption,
then show me with your actions. Don't show me with
your your you know, your word play and thinking that
you're you're handling this, You're you're addressing the state of
the union over one of your more talented players, and

(25:59):
and you're making sure that that the conversation doesn't you know,
make the organization or the GM look bad in this
you know situation. But the bottom line is as a player,
that doesn't change the way I'm looking at it produce
me a contracting. Alright, So give me it to to
me straight. Who was the most honest and dishonest front

(26:22):
office person you dealt with in your time in the NFL?
Honest and dishonest, like as in two different people, Yeah,
just like two different people that always. I know people
don't find this to be a popular take, but I
thought the most disingenuous, whether that's dishonest or not. I
thought the most disingenuous person I dealt with was Joe Gibbs.

(26:43):
He was just he was disingenuous. That was my experience
with him. The most honest was he in front of
was Joe Gibbs doing like part of the front he was?
You know, they're always I would say again in terms
of my dealings, my dealings were with the coaches. I
didn't really get too involved with front office guys like
I got to know Vinny Serrato a little bit, but

(27:06):
I wasn't, you know, I wasn't going into their offices
having conversations about my future or the future of the
team and what was taking place or how it applied
to me. But I did with Joe Gibbs, and I
did with Marty Schottenheimer, and I did with uh Steve Spurrier.
So I did have these conversations with coaches, you know,

(27:27):
and Marty, Marty was the most Marty and Coughlin were
the most forthcoming, um, honest, straight to the point, guys.
And that's why I always people always said, you know,
there were coaches that were not as liked as others.
You know, they're the old heads. Did not like Marty

(27:48):
Schottenheimer for one reason or another, right right, I loved them,
you know, I loved him and I thought he was
an amazing coach. I thought he was an amazing motivator. Um.
And he was no nonsense, you know, and and he
was very honest, whereas you know, I just felt like,
you know, for one reason or another, yet the disingenuineness

(28:11):
of what was said, how it was stated, what what
the scenarios were. I thought he was a disingenuous dude.
And I thought that a lot of the things I
witnessed and watched because I had a lot of time
to watch and witness my last years in Washington. I
thought it was you know, it was all ego driven.
You know, it's like, we're gonna win. We're back. We

(28:32):
got the old crew back and everybody. I mean there's
dudes with with knes and walkers and and wheelchairs that
were on the coach and staff. It was like the
Reunion of Cocoon when they came together. But they thought
that the old the old regime that that brought to
the glory of Washington, you know, to to prominence, was

(28:55):
going to happen again. By the way, pretty disrespectful what
you just did. Just want to point that out. And
you were talking about honest guys. You love Marty Schottenheimer,
you love Tom Coughlin, you aired out Joe Gibbs. I mean,
you're gonna you're gonna leave. You're gonna leave the HBC.
How you're gonna leave Steve Spurrier, the headball coach out
of this conversation of supposed to Okay, what about like

(29:16):
my guys that you like most. I don't know that
Steve Spurrier was the most honest dude. I don't. I don't.
I think Steve Spurrier was a coach wanted to coach
and that was it. I think Steve wanted to coach,
drink a long neck, go golf. Those were his three things.
I don't think he was interested in being honest. I
don't think he cared. I just think he cared about coach.

(29:38):
I love Steve Spurrier, man Steve Spurrier and he needs
to get back. And did not air out. I did
not air anyone out. I'm just giving my you know,
I'm just giving my experience. As you're asking who was
like you can tell, like again, if I had heard
the way Joe Gibbs was talking to me and that
was what came across in in that that interview, then

(29:59):
you would hear me saying something different. I would have
a different take on it. But he he did not.
The GM did not appear to sound as though he
was fabricating or was being deceptive and what it was
that he felt about ro Kwan or even trying to
get the situation rectified. You know, you know it's funny
about Tom Coughlin that you bring this up before we

(30:20):
go to Eddie Garcia, Bucky Bucky Brooks. He was telling
me him and I did a show together for a
while and he played for Jacksonville, and when he was
a player, and a young player, he couldn't stand Tom
Coughlin because he was so strict, I mean, uniforms and
and everything else to go along with like you've got

(30:41):
to be here this time and it's got to be
this because of the military background. And then Bucky said
when he when he got older, he started to understand
it more. And when he became a coach, he started
to really understand it more, so much so that he
saw Tom Coughlin at like a combine and he walked
up to him and he has said, hey, I get

(31:01):
it now. I told you. But as a young player,
it never it just didn't occur to him. But the
older he got, the more he appreciated that discipline that
Tom Coughlin brought, and he grew to understand why he
coached and why he ran teams the way that he did.
And now Bucky finds himself sort of taking some of
those things that he didn't like. Now all these years later,

(31:23):
how about it? You know, how about it? That's good?
You don't think that you don't think it's a happy ending,
all right. You go through some crap and then you
realize Hey, all right, well listen, Uh yeah, Deshaun Watson's lawyer,
Deshaun Watson's lawyer is going to justify that the use
of that term. But you know, I mean, it's not
like that term hasn't been used before, you know what
I mean. It's it's not like we haven't all been

(31:44):
a part of saying happy ending during our conversation. Yeah,
you know what I mean. Yeah, according to Rusty Harden,
that's the uh, that's the way this Works's heads, It's

And for that we turn it over to Lead to
lap our executive producer in place of the b Q News,
to find out what the hell is going on and
what we miss lee You guys. The NFL season kicks
off in less than a week with the Rams hosting
the Bills and to show you know, to be a

(33:57):
good host to the Bills mafia, they've ordered over twenty
four thousand dollars worth a Lebatte Blue for Sophie Stadium,
a nice Twitter video of a huge truck being unloaded
right into the stadium. You ever drank lebat Blue? I think, yeah,
it's a Canadian beer, um lobat Blue. I know that

(34:21):
it is sold up in that part of the country
because I remember I told you the story. I was
at a Penguins Red Wings game the Stanley Cup at
the Old day Glue in Pittsburgh back in two thousand nine.
I think it was Game four and the Pens are
down to one in the series and I was sitting
with my buddy up at the very top row, and

(34:41):
I had a twenty five ounce Lebat Blue too. I
bought from a cart because the line was shorter than
the than the other domestic lines. Had this twenty five
ounce Lebat Blue. The Penguins scored, and I knocked the
entire thing over in front and on top of the
girl who was sitting in front of me. And she
turned around completely doused. And you know, we're in a

(35:03):
hockey arena, like they gotta keep it somewhat cold, because
you know, you got the ice. She turned around doused,
and and I looked at her and I said, and
I just pointed at my buddy and said, he did
it like I couldn't. I couldn't own it. But Lobat Blue,
I mean it's a decent beer. I mean it's not bad. Well,
I mean I wouldn't got another one. I mean, come on, Stanleys,

(35:25):
Yeah that is hilarious. Yeah, I ain't got another one. Yeah,
it's a Stanley cup. You know you gotta get after
a little bit. She was cold up in there, huh. Yeah.
But I didn't do it. As far as she knows,
my buddy did it. So if she's listening to this.
I want to apologize for keeping a lie going for
some time. It's been going a while. Yes, yeah, it's
too bad. Um so Lobat Blues. How much you think

(35:48):
those are going to be sold for at the game though,
that's the problem. Like Bucks, if she's dude, can probably
cost him what I mean yeah probably? Yeah, yeah, you're
making a ton on that. But you know, they want

(36:09):
to be good hosts. They wanna you know, they are
going to show other people what they want. There's nothing
wrong with that. Yeah, Although, who do you like in
that game? You like Buffalo or obviously we're gonna talk
about it more next week, But you like Buffalo or
the Rams in that game? A man, has Buffalo won
a big one yet? I mean no, I'm gonna go

(36:32):
with I'm gonna go with l A all right, take
the Rams, all right, and take the Rams on that
one just right now. The way I'm fiddling, Buffalo hasn't
shown that they can win the big games. This is
a big game for them. Yeah, what else, guys? Yesterday
Dyson Roberts punter for South Carolina or whatever? Jona South? Wait?

(36:54):
Is it South Carolina State? Right? Yeah? Come on? He's not.
He's not a game cock South Carolina state man. That's
that's right. Well, he let it fly, but it was
a little too late. He went for a fake punt. Uh,
here's I would sounded on ESPN would not anticipate a
fake punt on fourth and nineteen, But I would be wrong,
and there is some room. Dyson punted it late, but

(37:19):
from well across the line of scrimmage. You're confused watching,
so are we. That's definitely illegal kicking. And it looks
like he almost could have picked it up and he
had a changing, He had a chance. So yeah, I
think that was just a young player making a mistake. Um,
he saw defenders close moment he decided to just let it.

(37:40):
He got scared. Yeah, I mean, will make you do
things that you didn't mean to do, because that's that's
the only way to explain that. Because he realized what
he called the serengetti, He realized he was and he
saw sometimes it was a hyaena, it was a lion.
He he saw something coming towards him and he got
rid of it, whatever that meat was that they was

(38:02):
coming for. He had a he had a ribby in
his hand and then realized that he was a ribby.
He was a riby holding a ribby. At least kicked
this part of the ribby. I might have a chance
to live. That was That was fair. That's all that
was was fairy. Enjoy the football. Everyone enjoy the football.
