2 Pros and a Cup of Joe are LIVE from Radio Row at the Super Bowl in Glendale, AZ! The guys open the show talking about White Castle and their final day in Glendale. Brady, Jonas and LaVar react to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class for 2023 and look ahead to next year’s class, which in comparison is very underwhelming. unmatched selection, fast, free shipping, free road hazard protection, and

(00:46):
over ten thousand recommended installers ti irac dot com the
way tire buying should be. Well, this is probably gonna
throw a few people off in the room here. You
know what today is? Yeah? What is day? It's a
football Friday Friday. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Media yeah, Media Center

(01:20):
Radio rows As we get it's been a long way.
I took to physical challenge last night. How'd that go? Yeah? Well,
if you don't hear much of me today, you'll know.
Come on, what is the physical challenge? Um? I stayed
out and up, I was up and I stayed out. Okay, Yeah,

(01:45):
against my better judgment, I ventured out to Scottsdale. A
lot going on at Scottsdale. Some people call it old
town Scottie. Yeah, old town Scott'll get you, Scottie wagg Is.
It was it busier than when we were out there
on them on Monday. Hell yeah, yeah, like not more
going on. I saw Jamaar Chase that he came into

(02:06):
the spot we were in last night. You know, these
new these new school athletes. Man, they just different. Man,
there's some different people describe what that means, just the
way like the way you would see a dude from
a different era move. I just think, and you know

(02:27):
what I think it is because I'm from there. Is
that fair to say? No? Okay, it wasn't like that
last No. No, it's not that they're friendly or they're
just there. I think they're more socially awkward. Actually, well
I get that because they look at their phone and
they get offer. They're like, oh, I said up, look
at my phone, like they camp. It's like they would
not want to look Jonas in the eyes and shake

(02:48):
his hand. Who would want to say, Hi, how you
doing s My name is Jamar Chase Jonas knocks. Great
to meet you. Yeah, they don't. People don't do that.
They're not social. Yeah, they're not sociable. But again I
think video games. I think it's it's sports culture. Like
your friends with who you're friends with, they don't know.
You know, one thing that you realize they don't know

(03:09):
older players, you know what I mean, Like a lot
of new school athletes only know like a certain like
maybe a few years before them. They don't really know.
Like if you start going into like the history and
the animals of guys that played, they don't know right
and and and crazy. It's something like they care either,

(03:30):
it's probably hard for them to go find it because
of the change in like TV technology from older players
like now. I mean, dude, think about when when we play,
like when I go back, but even when I go
back and watch college that I'm like, dude, I was
playing in the two thousand's and it looks grainy, it
looks it's hard to see. You fast forward to when
HD turned over, probably and I think in twenty two,

(03:54):
and like the film looks completely done playing ball. Imagine
that that's all. I was done playing ball by the time.
And like if you were on the sidelines, remember you
get your your your films. People to say anything, like
see anything. It was black and white, but even then
like that's how, that's that's how. But and then always
oh but even but even when we would get them,

(04:19):
like the quality of them when I first got in
the league or like in college to win like later
on the league, it changed. It went from being like
a Grammy like all right, I'm pretty sure that guy
that's so and something pretty shut so and so at
one point it got like crystal clear and you could
see even in the black and white. And then what
then went the tablets, which is entirely when did the
tablets come around? How long the tablets? Fourteen? Stuff like that.

(04:44):
It was the end of when I was playing with
the tables were they were they calling him polaroids when
they became color? When when you got the color pictures
on the summer guy and I never got color color
then to never. It was always the printer to print
out well. I mean he didn't need him to be
He kind of just need to see where guys back?
Where are you allow? Yeah? Snap? Where? Yeah? Where they at?
Where they go? Usually that was where you get arguments

(05:05):
about like you know, the old line, are saying one
thing and by the way, like the old line. You know.
So you come back like he was the gap and
they're like, no, he was the peak cap and the
rest of the yeah, he was the peak cap. And
you're like, okay, go look, go look at the team.
Come over and be like yeah, right, if you had
your gloves point you pointed the picture like what I say,
Because you gotta like like like do to speed books

(05:26):
with him, like to try to get like you know,
like the video aspect of those books. Your gloves. He's
sticking to the paper. It could be a frustrating thing.
He tried to study. I remember, I forget what coach
it was. And he used to blow his nose into
them when we were done with him. One team used

(05:48):
to take them. They'd all like put him in like
a like a thing. So we'd have like all of
the drives and they'd mark him and mark up on him.
Another guy used to take him to blow his nose
in them and throw them away. That's a serious and
now see that's painful. That's a serious nose. I couldn't
do that. That would that would bother me because you
couldn't get it all the way in. You know, youve
got to clear out that nostril. You're not getting every

(06:08):
piece of residue out if you blow. You're not by that.
But you've got to be able to like dig in
there and like actually get it out. It's more the
theatrics of blowing your nose with it. I think I
didn't realize you're this big in to blow your nose
and listen, if you're gonna do it, do it right?
Are you like a Nettie pot guy? I love Nettie Pott?
What is Nettie Potty? What is pott? I don't what

(06:32):
the hell you? Is it? Nettie pot What is this?
How do you spell it? Let me look this so
I don't know? Figure it out? Nettie pot Can you
basically pour water with like, look warm water, a little
salt solution in it. It helps, It does clear you
out to no not interested your nose for a little while,

(06:54):
A little old school. I'm looking at it right now.
Stuff that comes out of your nostrils when you do that.
Sometimes I'm old school and ned he pots about as
old as it gets. I think that's been around for
like hundres of years. I mean, look at how dumbness is.
You're playing a little tea pot in your nose so
the stuff can come out on the head. It comes out.
Though you need a little netti pot in your life. No,

(07:15):
I'm good. It's like your squatty potty, but it's for
your nose. This one works, definitely works for works. You
get enough of a sinus like congestion, it'll get it
up out of there for you. I said a Data
grows saying she did every day, and I was like, man,
I don't that's a little too much like an unattractive

(07:35):
nettie pot. Like that's like an unattractive trait. That's like
it's like a no enema. I don't. I think when
you mentioned the word enema and like literally can only
go in one way. Yeah, it only goes in one way.
But but if it goes comes out. But now you're right,

(07:57):
I mean it does come like you would be there
to get it out up here. That's correct. It goes up,
but it comes down. But I mean there's still there's
still the concept is still the same. So so White Castle.
Have y'all ever been to White Castle? Kay? The frozen Yeah,
that's why all you frozen food. My dad used to

(08:19):
call him the down and Ounce. He's like, if you
ever get bound up, son, just go get a white Castle.
I was like, what do you mean? He goes, chops,
he goes, just go grab a burger. He goes ten
minutes later. You keep you sitting on the toilet. Yeah,
but there's sliders though, right. Yeah, it's like the opposite
of what we're talking about. That is there a white Castle?
There's about white castles in Arizona? Is there all that?

(08:41):
I forgot? White Castle insider Jade who was basically run
the entire show here, she's like a celebrity in the
White Castle world? Is that true? White? Is this for real?
Come on? Yeah? It was inducted in two thousand and

(09:04):
sixteen into the class of Hall of Fame of White Castle.
I'm blown away right now. Yeah. They flew me out
to the to meet the family and towards the serious.
What do you have to do to get in the
whole fame? Get the right in essay, be a big craver.
It's called the Cravers Hall of Fame. Okay, where are

(09:24):
they located? Where's the family on the Columbus, Ohio? Okay?
Big on anniversary? Was this past year? They do have
a dope. If it's the facility, I think it is
my drive byte on what is that six seventy? They've
got a sweet headquarters. It's amazing. Yeah, so you were

(09:46):
in Dune it into the running to the bathroom restroom
Hall of Fame. Well can you see her in the
Hall of Fame with Stanley and Alice Cooper? No? Yeah,
I am? You mean like the music vision? Yeah? What Yeah?
He has a booth at the one here and like
beast a snake around his snack, he has the booth

(10:12):
here in the Scottsdale one. Yeah. Well do you mean
he has a booth and it was his birthday on Saturdays? Cooper? Yeah?
Is there a booth in somewhere for you? I wish? No,
I am on the boxes for the White Castle Sliders,
are you really there's ones with my name on it?
And my little quote saying I had a slider mule

(10:33):
because I had a friend that lived in Alabama and
he'd bring him over the border to me whenever he'd
go visit. Unbelievable. This is this is this is like,
this is the equivalent of Lee. Like every time Lee
tells us this one came so far out of this
is far out. I did not. I was inducted into

(10:54):
the Hall of Fame before LaVar was That is a
fair point. I'm from Butler, he's from Pittsburgh, and I
beat him to the Hall of Fame. How about you
from where Buttsburgh? Yeah? I thought she was seven. Yeah,
you know, I'm a four one tour. I thought Pittsburgh

(11:18):
was on my I didn't have Butler County on my
Castle Hall of Pittsburgh. You're on the box. Yeah, my
name's on the box. You can find my name on
the box. That is That's incredible. I didn't know that.
That's incredible. I'm going to box hunting. I'm gonna go
online and try to find what's what's the what's the

(11:38):
deal with Alice Cooper? How do you get in that
hall fan same way as I did? Were Big Cravers?
Oh no, he's in a serious set. Yeah, I can
completely misunderstood. But I thought you were in like the
like an Alice Cooper Hall Fame. How many how many
people are in the Hall of Fame? The induct usually
ten a year, So this is like like this, I'm
gonna get on this. I'm on the web. Down and outers,

(11:59):
What are you would do to my stomach? I wonder,
I wonder if two sliders in my socks and you're
just out. You're not down, You're just out. Do they
have cravers conventions for all the Hall of famers to
come together? And no, we're all on our website with
our story. You can see my picture on the website. JA,
will you attest to the down and out of that?
It doesn't bother me like that, So I guess maybe

(12:21):
that's what makes me a real craver. Wow, Okay, I
just think the adjective is so disturbing to me. I
mean craver. When you add the er to the end,
it just up to the stakes of the word. You know,
before I leave, I'm picking up a crave case. It's
a crave box. I'm sorry, it's a hundred spiders that'll
be taking home with me On the airplane. That is

(12:44):
a sorry, excuse me, it's a crave crate. I apologize
to crazy. How are you taking on the airplane? Eight
spiders will fill fit into a gallon bag, so I
can put them in a carry on that way. I
just will I'll be honest with you. That is definitely
Hall of Fame worthy. You're taking a hundred slaughters with
you on a plane. My family loves it, and you
can't get it anywhere close to Williams spoke Virginia. So

(13:06):
I'm taking them home with me. For all the things
that you guys could have brought up during the course
of a segment, for you, you to land on a
topic where we could get this type of story from
j This is the best interview a week. That's actually true.
I mean that's true. This is the most intriguing content

(13:26):
that I've been a part of. No doubt about it.
I had no idea, A man who knew that we
were going down that right away, blown away crate. I
just I'm trying to picture the rest of the plane.
When you break that. I think I can share them
on the plane. I'll share them with my family when

(13:47):
I get home. I feel like I need to look
this up on an adult website, Cravers Triplets dot com.
I'm gonna go claim that website. Oh man, that is unbelievable. Well,
fans only Cravers another Hall of Famer in the house.
That's pretty. That's fantastic until until I see a ring, though,

(14:10):
I'm I'm a tap as skeptical. That's that's all I'm
gonna say. I mean, I don't need a ring to
prove my status. J Now, if people think that you're
lying that are listening, they could find your first and
last name on there. So do you care if we
give out name? Ko z U p correct Yes, class
of two thousand sixteen. It's that's incredible, proud about this awesome,

(14:36):
absolutely awesome. I have heard it all to day to day,
two days, I've heard it all. Hey, what's up everybody?

congratulations are in order for the Hall of Fame class
that was announced last night, the class of three in
the NFL. Zach Thomas, well overdue, has been on the
ballot for a long time. He's been one of the

(16:25):
names that people have thrown out there. He put his
stats next to some other linebackers in the game, like
a Brian or Lacker, and nobody could figure out why
Zach Thomas hadn't gotten the call. Yet he gets the call.
DeMarcus Ware, Joe Thomas, your former teams, Quinn ron Da Barber, Durrell, Reeves,
Air Corriel, Don Coryell was in, uh yeah, Chuck Howley

(16:48):
and then Ken Riley and Joe Cleco. So the Hall
of Fame class of three announced and I would say
majority of those not surprising but happy to see that
their finely getting the call, especially a guy like Zach
Thomas who is now in the Hall of Fame. Yeah.
I mean, for whatever reason, you know, someone like Zach
who you know wasn't able to win a Super Bowl, right,

(17:11):
it's you know, the stats aren't enough even though when
and you talked about anyone who played against them, how
they went about and prepared for that game the entire week.
You know, there was a guy wearing a thing on
his helmet or a jersey because he was Zach Thomas.
Wherever Zach why you had had a body on him.
He had to have someone on him in the run
blocking game, you know, past protection quarterbacks were kind of
where where he's dropping to Um? For me, that like

(17:34):
it's always you know, did did that player make you
change how you played the game? And was he one
of the best best position during his career and he was,
so it's unfortunate that a lot of times we loop
in the success of the team into an individual players
accolades and whether or not they should you end up
being Hall of Fame worthy. But happy for all these

(17:56):
guys in particular Joe Thomas Um obviously got drafted the
same year together. Um. You know, he was one of
those guys that from day one, he just i mean
technically he was so sound, he was so mature. Never
never felt like there was ever a matchup a week
anything that was like overwhelminger too much. I mean, from
the day he stepped in there he was the blindside

(18:17):
left tackle. UM, and he was just he was just
special and you kind of you kind of knew it. Um.
He was just so special, so consistent, so steady for
his entire career. Yeah. I mean, I wish good luck,
a happy well wish to all of them getting in UM. Obviously,
Darrell Reeves is one of the homies from Quippa. So

(18:37):
so we've added another one to the list of Western
p a ors that have have gone in. UM. The
Marcus Ware was a great name. It's a great name
to go on to uh this class. Uh. Obviously, Don
Corrielle we were just talking about this off offline, not
not on the air. Well no, no, we actually we're

(18:59):
talking about it on the air. I don't know how
we got the White Castle, but we were talking about
on the air. Just young guys not knowing the past,
you know, and if you know the past and you're
a fan of the game, you know about those offenses
and the schemes that were created by Don corriel and
and how it led to you know, the West Coast offense,
West Coast style of offense and different things like that.

(19:20):
It was its own offense. Efersen and all of the
I mean it literally became the three digit system. Like
a lot of people didn't realize that, but you know,
when you they were trying to figure out a way
of simplifying offense. So everyone kind of knew it on
the West Coast and so you get these different juchos
community colleges where where players are kind of coming it
out and it ended up being a digit system. So
every single route you had attached to a number. And

(19:44):
so you know, for example, your inbreaking routes were even
your outbreaking routes were odd. Uh, you know, your your
post was an eight, you know, curl or in depending
on how you did it was a four or six.
So all that we did that in high school. Yeah,
so that all came from Don Corriel. He was he was,
he was, And that's that's another one. You look at
it and go his impact on football was so immense

(20:05):
at multiple levels. It should have never taken this long.
It will be It's the same thing we talked about
when Mike Leach passed. His impact of football at multiple
levels is you know, football is not where it's at
and without people like Don Coryell and people like Mike Leach,
and I don't I don't know why these Hall of
Fame committees have to have this carteria they're gonna need

(20:25):
to get to. It's like, what was their impact? Did
they change the game? They did? Drell Reeva's he changed
the way you played. Every time you play you want
to throw to drill sounds like you gotta get you
want to get something off your chest. I mean, it
was an interesting list a finalists and and I will
say there were a few finalists that you know, you
could probably say what it is that you say. I would.

(20:48):
I would venture to say, hold on, I gotta I
gotta look up. Did you already see like Adam Schefter's
tweet about next year, like who's eligible? No, but I
would I would also at to getting into the Hall
of Fame. It's that greatness and that dominance for an
extended amount of time to like it can't just be

(21:09):
a short burst, like you gotta show that you've been
dominant for for a period of time. Let me ask you,
is this does it? Does it piss you off that
a guy like Don Koyelle or Zach Thomas just sort
of kind of fade away, like everyone's so focused on
the now and they don't realize how you got to
the now and all the great players that became before you.

(21:31):
Instant guys like that you look at and you go, well, yeah,
why did it take so long? It's it's kind of
disrespectful if you think about it. I mean, if you're
looking at Hall of Fame classes and you're looking at
guys that still haven't gotten in. Like I'll continue every
every single time we I'm able to have a conversation
that goes down this lane. There's a couple of names

(21:51):
that that immediately pop up to me and and as
to why are they not in the Hall of Fame?
And Frey Taylor continues to be the number one name
that comes to mind talking about all the things that
that Brady just said. How you prepare for this guy?

(22:12):
What are you going to do to try to contain him,
because you're not gonna stop him. You know, the the records,
you know, like the things that he's done. Um, I
think that that one is is really really egregiously bad
to me. And the other one is Brian Mitchell. Like
everyone is sitting here and and God, God bless, I

(22:33):
think Devin Hester will get into the Hall of Fame
at and he should get in, and his numbers are
they pale in comparison to Brian Mitchell's statistic line across
all categories and and special teams, and and I just
don't understand why Brian Mitchell doesn't get the call to

(22:54):
go into the Hall of Fame. I mean, it's like
almost like the whole Harry Carson deal or how long
it took for Art Monk to get in. I just
I think sometimes when you when you make certain selections
and and they get in, it just it raises the
level of of hit scratching when you see certain guys

(23:16):
that you know, I'm not even gonna say more deserving.
I'm just gonna say, you know, by now it's past
due that they're deserving of the honor that they should
should receive. So here's the guys who have schefter tweeted
out up for next year's twenty tweeter Hall of Fame class.
Joyce Peppers and Tonio Gates, Eric Berry, Brendan Marshall, Heloti, Nada,

(23:37):
Jamal Charles, Doug Baldwin, Jordy Nelson, Connor Barwin, Sebastian Janikowski,
Kyle Williams, and Andrew Luck. Yeah, I had better careers
than people at home. Can't see the face shown us.
Just me, but really, Adam Schefter tweeted that I'm like

(24:03):
the agent involved and so those are the names. Huh,
Like I didn't know. I didn't realize, Adam Schefter tweet.
I didn't realize Andrew Luck has been gone for five years,
like I had. I had no idea had been that long.
I mean, okay, like that's where we're at. I guess
it's I don't know, man. I mean, I know that

(24:24):
there's a certain limit they're allowed to put in, and
I get all that. It's just I've never understood why
a guy is a Hall of Famer but only after
a certain number of years that he's up for the
Hall of Fame. What did he play a couple of
games on the side and between the time he retired
and then that got him over the hill. I just
that's never made sense. I talked to a voter and

(24:44):
we had a conversation because you know, we had talked
about our guy Josie, and he goes. You think he'll
he'll get in. We just had a private conversation. I'm
not saying who he is, but he goes. It was
interesting being in the room because they're very particular about
first time um guys in the ballot and making it in.
I'm gonna go, well, what's the case against Joe Thomas

(25:05):
because someone asked me, they go make your case where
Joe Thomas getting in the Hall of Fame? I go,
what's the case from not? I go, I go, try
to point out one reason why he shouldn't get in,
and then I go, I think that's your case. There
is no argument to be made. I go, that's the
easiest thing. Durell Reba's the same thing, like that, what's
the case against him? Thing? Like, you don't have a case.
So we got into talking about it because you'd be

(25:27):
surprised he was in that room. There's a lot of
people who do not want to have a lot of
guys who are first battle Hall of famers get in
because they like guys who've been waiting to have their
opportunity for christ I know, I know. It's it's like,
why we need to politicize the Hall of Fame of
of NFL. It's like pretty simple. You know what sucks
when a guy finally gets in and it's after he

(25:49):
passed away. That's what sucks, and they're playing with people's
legacies like they would like to see. They're playing with
like Connor Barwin's or Doug Baldwin's, depend on how the
solos just you know, you never know. There's a lot
going on there. And I didn't really Doug Baldwin have
been retired five years either. Interesting But was he undrafted?
Doug Baldwin think he might have been a reasing late

(26:12):
round Pickness Stanford, right, yes, Stafford here it might have
been undrafted. Well, there it is. There's your your update

developing situation when it comes to that topic, that'll be

(26:57):
coming up here in about a little about twenty minutes
from now here from the ti iraq dot com studios.
But right now, the man himself, the old p Petros Papadegus.
He is the co host for the Petros and Money show,
which you can hear where can you hear that? That
show Petros and Money? Where's that? At the bluetur A Sports.
He is also a Fox College football analyst. Petro's is

(27:21):
Petros with us? Now here's another one. I'm on there
is Petros. We can hear him. I'm here, Hello Petros, Petros. Yes,
I love dealing with your technical issues at five in
the morning. Oh yeah, Happy super Bowl everybody? Yeah, Petros.

(27:42):
How bummed are you that you're not here at Radio Row? Oh?
I haven't been on Radio Row in a dozen years
at least radio pet I hate, not bummed at all.
I despise. I despise Radio Row and everything that brings everything. Well,
we miss you. We would have loved to see you

(28:03):
brought up. That would have been I would have been
happy to see you guys, but maybe for like ten minutes.
But I mean, what are you guys doing every night
getting drunk. You all sound all beat up. You sound
like Charles Barkley the next you know, the All Star Game.
What does that sound like? Well, they say like you know,

(28:24):
or like Chris Berman, any of them. It's like, oh
my gosh, they've been talking so much this NBA All
Star Weekend or whatever or the Super Bowl that they've
lost their voice. No, it's because they're up all night
drinking and smoking cigars. That's when they've lost. You do
a radio show every day, you talk all the time. Guilty,

(28:45):
it's charged, Yeah, you got me. So I just hate everybody. Uh,
I don't want to see what I look like in
Minnesota right the afternoon drive, guy, I don't. I want
to see what I look like in Tulsa. And they
all come to the super Bowl. They all have their

(29:06):
bacon neck polo on. It's like a weird shade of
gray and black and it says the ticket embroidered on it,
or the fan or the beast or the beast the Beast.
I'm just honestly, I I just I can't take it.
I realized that I work in sports talk radio and

(29:27):
not better than anybody. I just don't want to see everybody.
I just I hate it, and I hate how excited
everybody is to do the same goddamn interview with the
same people walking around. And you guys are on too
early in the morning for anybody to help you. Yeah,
we get, but I mean there must be some other
East Coast types out there, though we've got one. I

(29:49):
would say one of our competitors say they're there, three
letter named Petros they're here as well. Boomer Boomers already
is pretty surly in the mornings. F A N Yeah,
I bet he is. Well. You know. It is interesting though,
because it used to be everybody showed up for the
Super Bowl, like the Saturday before the week before the game,

(30:14):
right like the day before the Pro Bowl, everybody set
up and started working the Super Bowl, Fox and Spen
and everybody whether they had an on or not Fox,
and now like Fox just showed up yesterday with all
their TV shows. Uh. It's kind of an interesting thing though.

(30:34):
The week is not the same as it used to be,
with just a huge inundation of fanfare. And I don't know,
you guys are out there, does it feel like a
big deal? Um? It does out there talking all loud
I've actually seen done more in a number of times,
and I gotta tell ye, tell me you we're talking.

(30:57):
I don't want to interrupt you. No, No, I was
for you to do more because I was actually I was.
I was always leading to I was leading to the
impression of Don Martin. What do you think he said
to me? Are you going over the least time Berg's party?
Are you gonna head over to the knockia Van? I'm
doing both. Gotta get ahold of him. Gift bag Sountain,

(31:20):
Scott's Dale. The other one is down Pound by the way, Petro's.
He made sure to take a dig at Dave we'se
at this breakfast that we were at, So stupid we
He is a finely dressed man, by the way, Don
Martin can he can dress his ass. Yeah, and he

(31:43):
keeps his hair looking like Don Martin hair broll cream,
kind of like the televangelist hair. You're in Don's relationship.
We have a guy, I'm an employee. Okay, that ends there. Okay,
it's a bosson employee relationship. How often do you get reprimanded?

(32:07):
Not often, Mum. Usually I marched down there angry about
something and he listen about my and there's Melvin WI
can do about it? That sounds about right then, right
at the end of the night. All the matters is
that you're on the end. Love every part of this state. Petris.

(32:30):
We were talking earlier and we were a little bit stunned.
We had heard some reports that you feel the remake
of Karate Kid Will Smith's better than the original. Shut up.
Will Smith called the show and like was like trying
to cuss me out. No, yeah, he had somebody, some

(32:52):
production person called the show through usc and like this
house to stop where you can't talk badly about our movie.
And of course that just made me go harder. And
this was before Cobra Kai or anything like that. And
I remember we put I mean Pat murt Is dead,
but we Putty, we put Marty Cove, who's since a on,

(33:16):
We put Ralph Machio, we put uh Billy's Apka all that,
we put it. Anybody we could find from Karate Kid
on to ask him about it, and uh, A couple
of them were like, no, this movie sucks, like going
after Will Smith and a couple of them more positive.
But yeah, I went after that movie hardcore. I hated

(33:37):
that remake of that did you hate us so bad?
I hate everything? Did you hate the first karate kid?
Which which one is your favorite? Which one is your
favorite karate kid? Which one too? Where where were they at? Okay, Noah,
come on, come on man, Okay, now, yeah, I just

(33:58):
know he he picked the right one. And you know
why karate kid choose the bus? Whyto love interest? No
a bad guy, his arch nemesis, his nephew, and that's
his nephew was good too. Yeah, Millie, you'll just you

(34:24):
will fight no only way you can. Why does that
sound like Norm Chowle. That's not Drm chow is a
lot smoother, white kiki tiki bar thing going on? Brady,

(34:45):
you throw them up pretty good? More jolly, that's jolly right,
here's a jolly to throw the out from the opposite hash.
That's a that's a guy sitting at dukes and white
kiki doks like that. Every every guy, boy, my boy,
my boy, Petro's chose the same one. I chose. I
like that. That made my just he doesn't say the

(35:06):
same as you do. That mean okay, okay um, I'm
a little surprised that you know. I mean, that's how
Mr Miagi says it is that how he says the Petro's.
I mean Mr Mihaki certainly has an accent. Alright, you know,
I'm only saying it the same way that he says it.

(35:27):
Where we get too long into this, Petros, Are you
gonna watch the Super Bowl? Do you care? Do you
have anything when to tell us about it? Uh? You know,
I don't know. I yeah, I'm gonna watch it. I don't.
I mean, I screwed up a long time ago. I said.
The good news about Jalen Hurts is he runs like
a tailback. The bad news about Jalen Hurts is he

(35:49):
he throws like a tail back. It's a half back
pass every tid. It's a half back past every time.
It's funny. But he's great, right, And they can run

(36:11):
the ball in attack. I don't like teams that can't
run the ball or push people off the ball, and
that's become the Chiefs. So I'm going for the Eagels.
Although I knew like Andy Reid because he's from Marshall
High School here in Los Angeles. You know Marshall High School, Guys,
I've never heard of Marshall. Marshall High is in Los

(36:32):
Feliz which is a very forgotten area that was made
popular by the movie Swingers with Vince What's that about?
And Jon Favreau never seen Swingers at the Dresden the
movie was about. The movie is actually about two actors
who were in the movie, Rudy literally in the movie

(36:56):
and Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau their real lives and
coming back to Los Angeles after having worked in a
movie and still being struggling actors running around l A
acting like idiots, swing dancing, knock upside down, pineapples, wife swapping,
which referring because I was totally unaware. I just wanted

(37:20):
to get that's what you just gave me the rundown
that I was looking for. That there it is. But yeah,
that area Los felash is where Marshall High is and
Marshall High is famous because not only did Andy Reid
go there, but he was also the kicker at Glendale

(37:42):
Junior College where my yeah, the Vacaro's where lots of
Armenians bro where my uh where my uh, my daughter's godfather,
Jimmy evangel Adis was the holder for Andy Reid and
are still dear friends to this day. And that's the

(38:02):
only reason I know Andy Reid. I had met him
multiple times through Jimmy Evangelidus, one of the great Greek
Americans in all of southern California. Also a Marshall High
alum Anyone Insurance Leonardo DiCaprio. What a poll of chicks

(38:24):
in his day? Yea, and they have a right your birthday.
You wake up with a letter next year. Thanks. Yeah,
and he moves into a retirement home. He's not interested.
Um Now, Patros, before we let you go, we gotta know.
Everybody wants to know what's the super Bowl party spread

(38:47):
gonna look like at the old p Mansion. Oh, I
don't know. Let me come on, Petris, what are you
thinking now? I don't know even know what I'm gonna do.
I might go to my aunt Ellen's house, or I'm
sure everybody's annoyed with me because I haven't committed to anything.
But I just hate the Super Bowl. You're gonna get
blacked out drunk. No, that's the problem. It's like Sunday night.

(39:10):
The game kicks at three, Like you get blacked out drunk.
You gotta wake up and take your kids to school.
You know that's true. So you're you're not a fan
of making the Monday after a national holiday, like the
State of Tennessee is trying to, you know, make happen. Well,
we'd still have to work, that's true, you know, as losers,
Lance Edo, the Judge, and the O. J. Simpson trial,

(39:33):
Marshall High Schools. I don't know. I think he's dead.
But he was a big let me see here, but
he was No, he was a happy guy. He was
a great customer at my father's restaurant for many years.
Yes he died, Oh no, No No, he's still alive. He
still wife tied. Yeah, well that's that's unfortunate. A Petros.

(40:03):
We appreciate it. Thanks for making it happen. We know
there's some tech issues, so we appreciate battling through. They're
like hello hello, and I'm like, hello, I'm here. We
can't hear him. Yeah, hello, hello, Yes, I'm here. We
don't have them. And then you guys came on. I
was like we don't have them, and I was just like,

(40:24):
but I'm here. And it's like in a movie, you know,
and you're talking and you just walk right through people
like ghosts, and they're frustrated, like Patrick Swayze like swazeeah,
it's too bad, terrible. Well, pe, we appreciate it. We'll
do it again next week. I'm sorry, but I switched

(40:46):
my engineered myself and switched to a different frequency. And
then you guys could hear me. Ye, come engineer the show.
I'll come to hit some buttons. Damn right, Jack of
all trade, it's Petros Papa Vegas. Get him on Twitter
at the old p uh if you've got some issues
with his thoughts on the Karate Kid and some other

(41:07):
things going on in the NFL, like how he doesn't
like Kansas to know. I'm just saying there are options
out there who want to communicate with the Old p
