Speaker 1 (02:03):
So we're going to give out the phone number because
we're going to do something a little special.
Speaker 3 (02:08):
It's a little treat for you here.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Brady Quinn and I when we first started working together
about seven plus years ago here at FSR, we started
doing this segment on our Sunday night shows called Headline
or Lie, and we had no idea that it would
actually turn out to be appropriate all these years later,
because everybody's so full of crap on social media. But
we're gonna list off a bunch of headlines. You have
(02:31):
to tell us whether or not it's an actual headline
or it's a lie. It became one of our more
popular segments on the show. That in Live bet Jesus.
According to Brady Quinn, became one of our more popular
segments on the show. And we would have callers dial
us up and want to partake in a little head
to head battle and try and see if we could
stump the other guy's partner. And so eight seven seven
(02:54):
ninety nine on Fox is the phone number for you,
eight seven seven nine nine six six ' three six '
nine if you want to be a part of Headliner Lie.
We are going to have that in about fifteen twenty
minutes from now here from the tairaq dot Com studios. Now,
those of you wondering why are we doing this here
on a football Friday, Why would you want to bring
(03:15):
this out from the past. Well, it seemed appropriate considering
all the garbage that was floated out on social media
involving Brady Quinn over the past forty eight hours. We
thought this is the time to do it. We're going
to make that happen so again. Eight seven seven ninety
nine on Fox eight seven seven nine nine six six
three six ' nine. We've got one thousand phone lines
(03:36):
here at Fox Sports Radio. It's a national network. I
know what you're thinking. Well, you guys probably only have
like five or six lines people can call into. Not true,
We've got a thousand of them and so those are
already lighting up as we speak. If you want to
be a part of Headliner, lie now, when we used
to do it back on Sundays, everybody was half in
the bag or completely in the bag. So I don't
(03:57):
I don't anticipate that's going to happen here coming up
in about fifteen minutes.
Speaker 5 (04:00):
I mean, like, I'm not rolling it out.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
I think this might be something we need to do
every Friday, only because you may have someone who wants
to take a little three day.
Speaker 5 (04:08):
Weekend, all right.
Speaker 4 (04:09):
That is uh, that's that's actually something in the back
pocket of the old meat wagon.
Speaker 5 (04:13):
He likes to do that from time to time.
Speaker 4 (04:16):
To go ahead and take off nice little Friday, start
boozing it up early in the morning on Friday, and
have yourself a little three day weekend.
Speaker 5 (04:22):
All right.
Speaker 1 (04:23):
Let me ask you this, if you could do a
three day weekend, would you rather have Friday off or
Monday off?
Speaker 5 (04:28):
I'd rather have Friday off.
Speaker 4 (04:30):
I just feel like Sunday's a better day to reset
and and kind of you know, kind of rest, reset,
start over and all that. So I would want to
treat Friday and Saturday like, you know, basically the weekend.
You can get after a little bit more and recover
by Sunday to be ready for Monday. I never felt
like the whole Monday thing really works. Is then I
(04:51):
feel like you're behind everyone else the next week.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Yeah, I mean, because.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
I mean there's there's a there's a lot of work
get done on Fridays. I feel like most people are
leaving earlier. They're like ready for the week and to
start anyway.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
Oh yeah, I mean people are just kind of coasting
It's why they do a lot of casual Fridays. I
used to work at an over the phone sales job,
and it was always casual Fridays. What it was like, Hey,
you could just wear you could wear jeans on Fridays.
And if you're just going to let people kind of
you know, take their foot off the gas going into
the going into a Friday, unless it was the end
of the month. If you had to hit a quote
(05:22):
at the end of the month, then everybody took it
real seriously. But for the most part, by the time
you hit about one o'clock, two o'clock after your lunch break,
I mean you may have snuck a flask into the
office at that point. Not condoning it. I'm just saying
there's you know, I have seen that from time to time.
So yeah, I feel like Fridays, you know, a more
enjoyable time. Everybody's looking forward to the weekend, you know,
(05:43):
but some of us do work on the weekends here,
you know, some of us do you know the jkas
continues to roll on over the weekend. So can I
ask you this though, because obviously we've been talking about
the NFL Draft, all right, let me just like throw
out a scenario for you. We saw what the Detroit
Lions did in trading away, you know, a guy that
(06:03):
they took high atop the draft. They decided we're going
to go ahead and move on the number three overall pick,
Jeff Acuda. They decided we're going to trade him away.
You know, we felt like when he's healthy, he could play,
but we're going to move on from him. And the
feeling was, okay, Well, they've got a need at cornerback,
and so you threw out some names, some potential guys,
(06:24):
whether it be Devin Devin Witherspoon rather, whether it be
you know, Christian Gonzalez was another guy. Like as far
as just top cornerbacks that are that are on the
market there for the Detroit Lions at number six, well,
you've got the Lions GM Brad Holmes who talked about
visiting with Jalen Carter and he felt better about Jalen
(06:45):
Carter at six, or felt better about talking with Jalen
Carter and kind of asking about some of the issues
off the field once he got to visit with him.
If you're the Lions and you're sitting there and Jalen
Carter's there, do you not entertain the idea of taking
Jalen Carter there and then with the eighteenth pick going
(07:05):
cornerback if that's the direction you wanted to go, because
they do have that pick sitting at eighteen. I guess
my big question is what's the difference between the top
cornerback and the draft and who could be available at
number two and three at eighteen and would it not
be worth their while to want to go Jalen Carter
number six overall?
Speaker 4 (07:24):
Yeah, I mean, I think Jalen Carter from a film standpoint,
has the looks of a guy who's going to come
in and be an immediate impact.
Speaker 5 (07:30):
Player, a perennial Pro Bowl player.
Speaker 4 (07:33):
And yes, there's maybe some some off the field concerns
because of what's happened and what's come to light, But
you know, that's why you do the due diligence of
having these meetings, sitting down talking to the players, the
PRODA thing, you know, I know people were maybe bothered by,
you know, whatever the weight was or the workout and
all that. The tough thing is is this is a
time of year where a lot of guys aren't necessarily
(07:56):
in that sort of shape anyway.
Speaker 5 (07:58):
And I know we.
Speaker 4 (07:59):
Want guys to be able to be in shape for
the proa in on all that, but I've seen coaches
who will really push and test you know, these players
when they do drills and different things, because sometimes you know,
the coaches that attenders and the scouts that attend will
ask for certain things and try to get to do
certain things, and then they will try to get these
guys tired because they want to see how they respond
to adversity. They want to see how they respond when
(08:21):
they're tired, worn out. And if you think about how
you're trained during this period of time for testing, it's
more like a track athlete.
Speaker 5 (08:28):
Where a track athlete it's going to be very measured.
There's there's an.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
Approach to it where you're going to get you know,
ample rest in between to make sure every effort, whether
it's practicing for a forty or a vert or whatever
it is, the five ten five all that you get
ample rest to make sure you're recovered to you give
your best effort that next one, and that's the hard part.
Then you try to prepare a guy for a workout
(08:51):
that's completely different. Conditioning like that's back into football conditioning
that's back into more of like you're aerobic conditioning, where
you're trying to prepare for maybe being out there in
the field with the guy for thirty, you know, forty
fifty minutes however long it ends up being, and then
really testing you to see what kind of drive you have.
Speaker 5 (09:08):
When you're tired. And that's all part of it.
Speaker 4 (09:11):
So I think he'd be hard to pass up on
for any of those teams that aren't looking for a
quarterback because look, there's a number of players, whether it's
Jalen Carter, will Anderson. You could even put Bejon Robinson
into this category as far as an overall prospect. Christian
Gonzalez is another guy who's pretty darn bulletproof. I think
you could put in Jackson Smith and Jig. But if
(09:32):
this was two years ago, you know, with this past
year not playing as much, you know, the hamstring, soft tissue,
who knows, maybe there's a concern there, but he would
probably fall into that category too when you look at
his tape from twenty twenty.
Speaker 5 (09:43):
Twenty twenty one.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
But there's those guys that I look at and say,
any one of those teams that has a need for
one of those guys I think is going to pull
the trigger because it's just they're too good to pass
up on, and you're willing to take that risk despite
maybe some of the concerns you have with some of
the up that's come to light this offseason.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
And the difference between Jalen Carter at his position and
the second best guy is far greater than say, Devin
Witherspoon and Christian Gonzales correct at the.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
Cool fact, I think that's fair to I think that's
fair to say. I mean, I think they're going to
see a number of first round cornerbacks. You know, those
are two of which you've named. Joey Porter Junior is
another guy. You'll probably hear his name, So we can
go through a list. But the truth is there's a
drop off. But you can also make that case, I
think too. You know, maybe with how some people feel
(10:32):
about that top tier of edge rushers where you've got
a Tyree Wilson and a Will Anderson, and then you've
got some people who say, all right, that might be.
Speaker 5 (10:39):
The top tier.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
Maybe they've you Luke van Nesen it, maybe they don't,
but either way, that's kind of your first tier. And
then there's another tier of guys where there's a bit
more of.
Speaker 5 (10:46):
A drop off.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
Yeah, I just think Detroit's fascinating because if Rogers is
gone and who knows what Minnesota is going to look like,
and the Bears are still rebuilding, that just feels like
their division. And they've drafted, well, like they've they've picked,
you know, drafted impact players. I mean, people forget Jamison
Williams hasn't even really gotten to play yet, and that's
another guy that's sitting there for Detroit. And you've got
(11:10):
Jared Goff who had a really good year last year,
and you know, I know they've kind of had some
discussions about what his future could be like in Detroit
and whether or not he could be the guy, and
people have thrown out them as a dark horse team
to maybe take a quarterback of the future. I just
think where they're at right now in the NFC. I mean,
if you could get Jalen Carter at six and then
(11:30):
you could pick up the second or third best cornerback
in the draft at eighteen, that to me feels like
the way to go.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
But I mean, what that do I know.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
With the Detroit Well, again, I think as a general manager,
you're always trying to always her best player available, because
that's what you stay your reputation on. If you draft
the guy that ends up being a ten year, twelve
year player for an organization and he's a preennial Pro
Bowl caliber talent, and especially in the first round, that's
largely what you're going to be judged off of is
what you were able to draft and what that player was.
Speaker 5 (11:59):
Able to become.
Speaker 4 (12:00):
Now, you know, you'd hope that they're in a situation
with the organization where the organization can help them continue
to grow and develop as a player, which is a
whole a nother side of the story, but you know,
that's why you hear so many people talk about when
it comes to the draft, best player available, because you
want to have guys in your roster even if you
feel like you're set at that position, because injuries.
Speaker 5 (12:19):
Happen, guys end up moving on.
Speaker 4 (12:21):
They're really on one two year maybe three year deals
if they're a superstar, and then after that they're all expendable,
and so you can have depth at a specific position
if you feel like that player is going to be
a contributor, either in the short term or in the
long term at that spot.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
So, by the way, those of you wondering the latest
odds for the top players in the draft, Bryce Young
obviously to be the first quarterback to go on the
number one overall pick. That's he's still the overwhelming favorite there.
And then at number two you've still got Will Anderson,
but CJ. Stroud picking up some ground. So all that
you tried to do Brady Quinn to try and steer
(12:58):
the Houston Texans away from take can see J. Stroud
and now he's the second favorite to be number two
overall at plus two seventy five.
Speaker 3 (13:06):
So there's that.
Speaker 4 (13:06):
Yeah, there's everything I did saying how I think he
should be the second.
Speaker 5 (13:10):
Quarterback team second player taking the draft. Yeah, all all
of that that.
Speaker 4 (13:14):
No one listened to because no one actually clicks the links,
reads articles, listens to the podcast anymore. You'd have to
think that, like, it's going to be what we talked
about artificial intelligence earlier. Once the robots, I mean, it's
not gonna take long before they get past us, because
they're going to realize, like these people don't read anything,
you know, they just don't read, they don't listen to anything.
Speaker 1 (13:34):
Yeah, it's it's the beginning of the end. I hope
everybody enjoys it what they got it. It is Two
Pros and a Cup of Joe Here on Fox Sports Radio.
Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with you here and again. We're

Speaker 6 (14:05):
Lie.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
If you've never heard it before, it is Radio Gold,
and something tells me it is going to get spicy
based on some of the discussions that were happening on
social media yesterday, and it's yours next here on FSR.
Speaker 6 (14:17):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Errington, and

on this hour. A little over twenty minutes from now,
we are going to have ourselves another edition of You
In or You Out. It is a fun way to
close up shop here on a Friday. I've already gotten
a word on one of the questions that'll be asked
(14:52):
by lead to lap during You In and You Out,
And this will be a fun one.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
It's a little tease for you.
Speaker 1 (15:00):
It's based on a photo that was sent to us
earlier in the week involving Todd, so we will get
into that for you again. That'll come up twenty minutes
from now here on FSR, we are going to have
another edition of Headline or Lie coming up here momentarily
(15:20):
eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. At has last
call for phone calls eight seven seven ninety nine on
Fox if you want to be a part of it.
We've got nine hundred and ninety seven phone lines all
filled up. We've got three available. Actually, no, those are
all taken up now, all right, So three more have
just topped in, all right. So so all phone lines
are busy for Headline or lie coming up here in
(15:41):
just a moment. But first I want to let you
know we are brought to you by Pennington. Did you
know artificial turf on football fields causes thirty two percent
more non contact knee injuries. American grass seed company Pennington
is on a mission to ban turf fields with their
hashtag flip the Turf movement. So go to Pennington dot
com slash flip the Turf now to learn more and
sign the petition for teams to hashtag flip the turf
(16:04):
to real grass.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
Is it a headline or is it a lie? Let's
go to the news steps.
Speaker 7 (16:12):
What good?
Speaker 2 (16:13):
No, here's Jonas Knox and Brady Quinn.
Speaker 4 (16:16):
Man o, man, can't it sounds just like another segment
with is it Wednesday?
Speaker 3 (16:21):
What the hell's going on here?
Speaker 1 (16:24):
A lot of a lot of originality, a lot of originality,
and then what we have put together here on the show.
So let's go it is headline er Live. This is
how it works. Brady Quinn and I have headlines. We
are going to try and stump each other's partner here
live on the air, and you have to tell us
whether or not it's an actual headline or a lie.
So let's meet the participants. Let's go all the way
(16:45):
to Texas where Kevin is listening here on Fox Sports Radio.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Kevin, what's happening?
Speaker 5 (16:51):
What's up, Kevin? What's going on? What's going on?
Speaker 3 (16:53):
How you feeling?
Speaker 6 (16:54):
Man?
Speaker 3 (16:54):
What's going on on Friday? Are you drinking yet or what?
Speaker 8 (17:00):
Bro?
Speaker 5 (17:00):
I'm selling the grinds? All right?
Speaker 1 (17:02):
So what what time you're getting off work? When's the
first beverage going to be consumed? What are you looking
at today? Uh?
Speaker 5 (17:08):
Seven? One later Central time? Damn? All right?
Speaker 3 (17:11):
Very good?
Speaker 1 (17:12):
All right, so you got a little ways to go,
but that'll be that'll be fun for you here.
Speaker 3 (17:16):
All right.
Speaker 1 (17:16):
So Kevin, you are in Texas. You can team up
with Brady Quinn or myself. Who do you want to
team up with?
Speaker 5 (17:22):
I gotta go on my boy Brady.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
All right, there, let's go, Kevin.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
Let's go a little bit of support there for Brady
Quinn mixed to all the chaos that took place. All right,
let's go out to first. Yeah, why is that? Why
does Brady get picked first?
Speaker 3 (17:36):
Jock? Yeah? It's terrible? You know what?
Speaker 1 (17:39):
Based based on that, I think I'm hashtag team Clark, now,
you know I've I've changed. Now I'm gonna go hashtag
team Clark. All right, So we go over to Zach,
who's in Nebraska. Zach, what's happening?
Speaker 3 (17:54):
Hey, Zach? What's going on?
Speaker 5 (17:55):
Man?
Speaker 3 (17:56):
What are you? What are you doing? Man?
Speaker 2 (17:58):
I'm driving.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
We listen, We're just hanging out doing a radio show.
You want to be a part of headline or lie?
Speaker 3 (18:05):
Correct? All right? So here we go.
Speaker 1 (18:08):
So this is how works again for the people listening
across the country. I'm going to read a headline to
Brady's partner, He's going to read one to mine. We're
going to take turns. They have to tell us whether
or not it's an actual headline or we made it
up and it's a lie. And then if we're tied
at the end of this list, we have a tiebreaker question.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
So we will get things started.
Speaker 1 (18:26):
I will start with Kevin, Brady's partner here on Fox
Sports Radio, Kevin, here we.
Speaker 3 (18:31):
Go headline or lie.
Speaker 1 (18:33):
Following a heated exchange about the NFL Draft on social
media and ESPN, personality was seen chugging a bud light
in the parking lot.
Speaker 5 (18:44):
As much as I want that to be true, that's
a lie. Oh man, well done, Well done, Kevin. We'd
start all right.
Speaker 4 (18:54):
Here we go, Zach headline or lie RG three post
pone's the release date for his book, Surviving Washington, says quote,
I'm still running my story.
Speaker 2 (19:08):
That's the headline.
Speaker 5 (19:11):
That is.
Speaker 4 (19:13):
One that I was not away one longtone.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
By the way, the fact that that's a headline makes
what happened yesterday that much better. It's like a RG three.
Did you not get the sarcasm? The story is still
to be written. Come on, dude, all right, So we
continue on here, all tied up one a piece here
on headliner Lie on Fox Sports Radio. All right, so
Kevin Brady, Quinn's partner, headliner Lie. Elon Musk has banned
(19:41):
a former NFL quarterback from Twitter for using the word bubb.
Speaker 5 (19:48):
Lie.
Speaker 3 (19:52):
You are good, all right.
Speaker 5 (19:53):
He's on his game. Kevin's on his game this morning.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
You are good?
Speaker 5 (19:57):
All right? Here we go, Zach headline or lie.
Speaker 4 (20:02):
An ESPN analyst makes the last ditch effort to grab
attention before Disney's next round of layoffs. That's a headline,
little controversial, but it's not an actual headline.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
No, it's not. It's not.
Speaker 1 (20:21):
By the way, I feel like there's a common theme
here with the headline so far. You know, yeah, we
should probably break that up here. I feel like this
is at this point, it's piling on, so we don't
want to continue down that rude. So, Kevin, you have
a two to one lead here on Headliner LI. So
we're going to break up the trend of whatever is
happening here on headline or Lie with this next one, Kevin,
Headliner or Lie. Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin the third
(20:44):
announced that his new book called I Try Too Hard,
will be released on February thirtieth of next year.
Speaker 4 (20:53):
As much as that would be a perfect novel for him,
that's a lie.
Speaker 5 (21:01):
I even appreciated the date part.
Speaker 3 (21:04):
I appreciate that, February thirtieth.
Speaker 4 (21:06):
Yeah, all right, here we go, Zach, Yeah, climb back
into this one.
Speaker 5 (21:11):
Here we go headline or Lie.
Speaker 4 (21:14):
To protect his clients, super agent David Mulugeta is designing
suits wrapped in bubble rap.
Speaker 6 (21:23):
That's a lie, it is, but it could be fashioned forward.
Speaker 5 (21:29):
Maybe we all need to think about that. Maybe four
with our suits, you know.
Speaker 1 (21:33):
Oh man, all right, so we continue on Headliner Lie here.
Fox Sports Radio Brady Quinn Jonas Ox to the air again.
It seems like there's a theme here. We've got to
break this up at some point in time, right so, Kevin,
Brady Quinn's partner headliner Lie. The city of Bristol, Connecticut
has removed all eas products from its shelves.
Speaker 4 (21:55):
That's a lie.
Speaker 3 (21:58):
He's good, all right.
Speaker 4 (22:02):
I swear at some point We're gonna break the serious
at some point.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
Enough is enough, all.
Speaker 5 (22:07):
Right, Zach? Here we go headline or lie.
Speaker 4 (22:10):
Tiger Woods endures another surgery, this time on his third
leg and his quest to return to the top of golf.
Speaker 9 (22:19):
That would be an extensive surgery on that leg.
Speaker 5 (22:23):
Lie, Well done.
Speaker 3 (22:31):
Man, you are a class act, all right.
Speaker 1 (22:34):
So here we go. This is the situation here, Kevin.
If you get this correct, you will win the game
for you and Brady Quinn. You have been perfect thus far.
I don't know how you're doing it. These feel like real,
like real tough questions and tough headlines to try and dissect.
But you have been perfect so far. So if you
get this final one correct, you will win the game.
(22:54):
If not, you open it up to Zach, who has
an opportunity to tie and force a sudden depth over
time question. All right, so here we go to win
the game for Brady Quinn's team. Kevin in Texas, who's
about twelve hours away from his first cocktail. Here on
a Friday, Kevin headline or lie TMZ is reporting that
(23:15):
NFL reporter Dove Climban is actually the new Twitter alias
for Jesse Smollett. That is a lie.
Speaker 3 (23:26):
That is great.
Speaker 5 (23:27):
All right, we've got a winner.
Speaker 4 (23:29):
You've got a winner, well, Doug, Kevin, Kevin, Zach Zach
in Texas.
Speaker 1 (23:33):
Yeah, Zach, you did. You did phenomenal as well too, guys.
We appreciate it. Enjoy your fridays. Thanks for playing along.
Something tells me you guys will take that, take that
a lot better than some people who may be listening.
Speaker 3 (23:46):
Well, there's that, all.
Speaker 5 (23:48):
Right, it's all, it's all stats are right, it's all.
It's all for fun.
Speaker 10 (23:53):
Hey man, I was really hoping for a tiebreaker too.
That was a good, good type breaker question.
Speaker 1 (23:58):
Should I should I the tiebreaker question? Just for the hell,
the tiebreaker question was headliner lie LeVar Arrington sat out
today's show and support of fellow former Washington commander Ryan.
Speaker 3 (24:10):
Clark, So there was that as well tonight. So yeah, headline.
Speaker 4 (24:15):
I honestly, I honestly thought you were going to have
that as one of your top five.
Speaker 5 (24:19):
You did not include that.
Speaker 1 (24:21):
Yeah, that was the that was the tiebreaker. But just
try to have some fun here, all right, people, lighten up.
It's just it's just Twitter. Everybody relaxed.
Speaker 5 (24:28):
It is just Twitter.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
It's not real life, folks, It's just Twitter. It's it's
not real life. It actually isn't even real in any
way shape or form. Put the phone down, step away
from the computer. You'll be fine.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
I mean, if you if you are going to hold
onto your phone, we recommend the iHeartRadio app though.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
If you're gonna hold onto that, that.
Speaker 5 (24:47):
Is true, say that.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
Or if you're listening, if you walk away, keep the
air pods in, keep it playing.
Speaker 5 (24:52):
But you don't have to be, you know, just constantly
searching on Twitter.
Speaker 3 (24:55):
Yeah, that's all.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
That's so we're just trying to provide some friendly life
advice here on a Friday. It is too pro I
was in a cup of Joe, all right. So we
are going to have another edition of You Inner You
out coming up here shortly. But for all the latest
from around the world of sports. A man who looks
artificial intelligence in the eyes and says, screw you. I'll
never be replaced. Seeddi Garcia spit.
Speaker 9 (25:14):
Right in that robotic face.
Speaker 3 (25:16):
Yeah that's truely, Are you afraid of ai Eddie? It's
a little weird right now.
Speaker 9 (25:19):
A little bit, yeah, yeah, a little bit.
Speaker 5 (25:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (25:21):
I could see that they have those YouTube videos that
have those like computer generated narrators on there.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
So yeah, it freaks me out, man, because it makes
you wonder how long have they all been here, because
they haven't just arrived. It's like it's like now they're
acknowledging UFOs are real. It's like, wait a second, people
were spotting UFOs in the sixties. So has artificial intelligence
always been here? They're just now letting us in on
the secret, you know what I mean?
Speaker 9 (25:47):
Well, I mean, of course, the ironic thing is we've
created the artificial intelligence to replace.
Speaker 4 (25:53):
So yeah, I feel like we're at the beginning terminator,
Like we're at the beginning. Yeah, like someone's got to
stop someone who's gonna make like eventually the terminator.
Speaker 3 (26:02):
Yeah, that's I'm just putting my money on Roberto.
Speaker 5 (26:05):
Yeah, well we know, we know Roberto will standing in
the ring.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
So Berto said that said, Ryan Garcia better put himself
in harm's way because he's Mexican.
Speaker 3 (26:19):
What does that mean something in Mexican. You gotta fight anywhere,
any place, anytime. Man, don't matter. It's right, it's you.
Just gotta have a tin. You gotta have a china.
You gotta have that ma cheese mo half a chin,
half of the other half. Though, boom goes right down.
Speaker 9 (26:40):
Let's check in on the NBA playoffs. Last night we
had three game threes. These Sons beat the Clippers in
l A one twenty nine. Devin Booker forty five points
in the win, Kevin Durant twenty eight points, Norman Powell
had forty two points with the Clippers, and Russell Westbrook
thirty points twelve sis not enough though, Phoenix with a
two to one advantage now in the series, the Clippers
being hurt by having both their stars out Paul George
(27:00):
has been out for a while and now Kawhi Leonard
missing last night's game with a sort and either saying
he's day to day. Warriors go back home where they're
a different team. They didn't have Draymond Green. They beat
the Kings anyway one, fourteen to ninety seven. Steph Curry
thirty six points. He was six to twelve from mind
to three point line Sacramento. Stile leads a series two
games to one, but a big win for the defending champ.
Seventy six ers down the nets one O two to
ninety seven. Tyrese Maxie had twenty five points, James Harden
(27:23):
twenty one points, and the winter for Philadelphia. They got a
commanding three to zero series lead over Brooklyn. Now back
to Brady Quinn and Jonas Knox int Tyrack dot Com,
Fox Sports Radio Studios.
Speaker 1 (27:32):

Speaker 1 (29:20):
You know, Brady, didn't they play this at your high
school graduation in Ohio?
Speaker 3 (29:26):
It's like one of the things you guys dance today.
Speaker 4 (29:29):
I don't remember that, but I definitely have, you know,
been out and danced to this. I don't know how
you can't get your hips moving when this comes off
Little Elvis Crespo.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
I don't Elvis Crespo. Is he Cuban or is he
Puerto Rican? I don't believe he's he mean, I don't know.
I just really enjoyed the song. I don't really try
to dive into too much deeper on this topic. Well,
I just you know, just letting everybody know a little
background here. It's kind of braggingto doing the research.
Speaker 5 (29:58):
Is that what you mean?
Speaker 3 (30:00):
How about that?
Speaker 5 (30:01):
Huh?
Speaker 3 (30:03):
And uh?
Speaker 1 (30:04):
Kind of an interesting guy on airplanes too, if you
look into that a little bit, that Elvis.
Speaker 3 (30:09):
Crespo, it is uh too.
Speaker 1 (30:11):
But also I just heard last weekend I was listening
to I forget what mixed station it was. It might
have been on iHeart, but we were listening to, uh,
just sort of tropical music. You know, we're out barbecuing
a little bit on the on the back patio I
called it. I call it a back cubicle because I
don't actually have a yard. No, like uh like Latino
(30:34):
tropical music like like like that. Yeah, Elvis Crespo, every
single song he has sounds exactly like this. Every song
I heard sounds just like suaveamente, which it's good. Nothing,
nothing's wrong with it. Just feel like you know, medangay
is the kind of top of medaningay.
Speaker 3 (30:52):
Whatever it is. It'll make your hips move, is what
that is?
Speaker 5 (30:58):
Like?
Speaker 3 (31:00):
Yeah, baby, making music.
Speaker 5 (31:03):
I'm just saying, Yeah, that's to be careful.
Speaker 4 (31:06):
You put this on on a Friday, next thing, you know,
you know some people are going to have some surprises.
Speaker 5 (31:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (31:12):
And plus you know, like you mentioned, the weather is
getting nicer at staying out, lighter longer.
Speaker 5 (31:17):
Oh yeah, off the layers, you know.
Speaker 1 (31:22):
I mean, you don't have to tell me. I sent
you guys the video last night. You don't want to
know what's happening in the NBA playoff game. I don't know,
no clue. I'm too busy. My wife's watching the Latino
Graham whoever it is some brutal music. She listens to
on that station.
Speaker 5 (31:39):
By the way.
Speaker 1 (31:40):
All right, so if you missed any of this program,
it's been a fun one. Uh, nobody will be offended
by it. That week, we can assure you, whether it
was the opening segment or headline or lie, I'm sure
nobody would be offended by anything we said on this program.
But if you missed any of it, you can check
out the podcast at Fox Sports Radio dot com to
be posted up shortly after we go off the air.
We will be back on the air coming up on Monday,

Speaker 2 (32:25):
Really make news.
Speaker 6 (32:26):
Two pros in a cup of show what en enough?
If they're in at please four if they're out?
Speaker 3 (32:34):
All right, lead to lab What do we got guys?
Speaker 2 (32:36):
A deal that is too good to be true.
Speaker 10 (32:38):
I sent you a photo of this earlier in the
week and I.
Speaker 3 (32:40):
Just tweeted it out.
Speaker 10 (32:41):
Lead a lab Todd hit me up in the middle
of the week asking how good of a friend I
really was, because he had found a deal at the
local target that was ninety percent off select alcohol and
he loaded up the cart as much as he could,
and I sent you a picture of it. So ninety
percent off select alcohol. So we're looking at like Svetka
(33:02):
Vodkas that are ninety nine cents per fifth. We're looking
at Peach Crown Royals that are like a dollar.
Speaker 3 (33:09):
Fifty for a fifth.
Speaker 10 (33:10):
I mean, this stuff is pretty awful in terms of
the flavored liquor.
Speaker 1 (33:15):
But some Quervo I see in there too, Yeah, the quervo, Yeah,
lots of querzvos.
Speaker 5 (33:20):
Is that a Barefoot Seltzer.
Speaker 10 (33:22):
Hard Seltzer four pack Barefoot wine Hard Seltzer four pack
for seventy one cents?
Speaker 5 (33:31):
How bad is the hangover gonna be?
Speaker 10 (33:33):
Yeah, it's gonna be pretty bad. I think the pool
will have a couple of coolers with mixed drinks in them,
like you know, the the pour out coolers.
Speaker 1 (33:41):
All right, I have a question here for you if
because if this was like some Christmas ales or like
holiday bruise or something like that, I can understand why
they would be discounted ninety percent. But these are like
you know, peach concoctions. We've got margarita mix. Like this
feels like it's in season. So why the hell is
(34:04):
it so cheap?
Speaker 5 (34:04):
Lee?
Speaker 3 (34:05):
Why don't this stuff expire?
Speaker 10 (34:06):
That's a good question, because that it doesn't seem like
uh it has and we checked out the expiration dates.
Everything looks good. He filled the cart under fifty dollars
for everything in the cart here, which is filled to
the brim.
Speaker 1 (34:18):
And by the way, if you go to Lee's Twitter
account at lead to lap, that's d E l A
p p uh. Lee's got the picture posted and he's
not lying. There's like a significant amount of booze here
for U. Now, are you gonna have any of this
or Todd only?
Speaker 10 (34:34):
I will have to sneak over to Todd's for a
little pool visit this weekend.
Speaker 3 (34:40):
Okay, I can't even imagine.
Speaker 5 (34:41):
What do you have to sneak How are you?
Speaker 3 (34:44):
Why do you have to sneak out?
Speaker 5 (34:46):
Why you sneak over?
Speaker 10 (34:47):
I gotta sneak over to a poker event tonight and.
Speaker 3 (34:50):
The pool after.
Speaker 5 (34:51):
Why are you sneaking around.
Speaker 3 (34:55):
By the way?
Speaker 1 (34:56):
Old?
Speaker 5 (34:57):
Yeah? Exactly?
Speaker 3 (34:58):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (34:59):
How old are you?
Speaker 1 (35:03):
Lee acts like he's on the set of a quiet place,
like you can't make any noise, You're gonna piss everybody off.
Speaker 3 (35:08):
Come on.
Speaker 10 (35:08):
The only time I edit the podcast?
Speaker 3 (35:14):
All right, what else you got?
Speaker 2 (35:16):
Will fellas?
Speaker 10 (35:17):
It is a Friday, which means I'm gonna give you
one of the movie releases this weekend, that being Evil Dead,
the fifth installment of an Evil Dead movie. I'm sure
you've seen the trailers. Are you in or out on
an Evil Dead movi?
Speaker 4 (35:30):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (35:30):
I have no idea what that is?
Speaker 3 (35:32):
Can you give? What's the premise?
Speaker 5 (35:33):
Lee?
Speaker 3 (35:33):
What's the what's the idea? A couple sisters?
Speaker 10 (35:36):
They are in a building. They find a bound book
that's bound in leather, skin and skin basically, and it
releases demons. It inhabits the mother and she goes after
her kids.
Speaker 5 (35:46):
Oh gosh, what no, who writes this stuff?
Speaker 3 (35:50):
It's so dumb?
Speaker 10 (35:51):
So I mean a remake, right, It's it's an installment,
the fifth of this series, So yeah, it's it's a
famous series Evil Dead.
Speaker 3 (36:00):
Wow, not famous enough? Yeah, I'm out. I'll pass what
else we got National Bulldog's Day?
Speaker 10 (36:06):
You guys enter out on bulldogs?
Speaker 5 (36:08):
No gotta be in man, Come on, it's a great
breed of dogs.
Speaker 3 (36:12):
I love dogs and an American bulldog.
Speaker 4 (36:15):
Yeah, I mean any type of bulldog could be English,
could be whatever, whatever type of bulldog you got.
Speaker 5 (36:19):
I love dogs and I love that breed too.
Speaker 3 (36:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (36:22):
I feel like bulldogs are the non alcoholic bull mastiff.
I feel like they're the oduleS of that dog breed,
you know, like there's.
Speaker 5 (36:29):
Just why they have to what how's that?
Speaker 1 (36:32):
Because bull mastiffs feel like they come well put together.
They're more jacked, like they just feel like their body
type they mean business Like a bulldog's kind.
Speaker 3 (36:41):
Of like American bulldogs pretty jacked. It's not a mastiff though.
They're bigger, and that's the bigger Yeah, I.
Speaker 5 (36:47):
Mean, is that just because you used to have a mastiff? Yeah?
Speaker 1 (36:50):
What happened to him? By the way, you want to
bring that up on the air, since you've already done it,
it's not to tell Yeah, it's not my Storytell tell
you why do you go report that?
Speaker 3 (36:57):
To do?
Speaker 1 (36:57):
Your Buddy Dove climb and Jesse smolette of Twitter and
tell him to go report on my dog dying eight
years ago.
Speaker 5 (37:06):
I think he's more concerned about his his blue check mark.
Speaker 1 (37:09):
That is true, all right. By the way, Dev, I
don't know you were just busted balls pal. All right,
we're having a little bit of fun here. I don't
want to piss off artificial intelligence. Not going down that road.
Speaker 3 (37:19):
What else we got, Lee, I'm checking on his Twitter
handle right now.
Speaker 10 (37:21):
If he has his blue check mark, it is his
forty third birthday. That being mister Tony Romo, he does
not have the blue check mark. You guys enter out
on Tony Rome's forty third birthday in what regard I'd
be fun, right, yeah.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
You know, I mean, okay, can I'll say this though,
Tony Romo, if you look at numbers wise, he had
a better career than Troy Aikman, Like nobody wants to
say it, but you know, he kind of.
Speaker 5 (37:51):
Did different different eras too. Though.
Speaker 4 (37:53):
I mean, when you look at stats, it's a bit
deceiving because they threw so much more while what was
there than Aikman, and that was just the nature of
the league. And also I get I mean, it doesn't
hurt to have a Hall of Fame running back and
Avan Smith either.
Speaker 1 (38:08):
Yeah, that's that is true, and I would say I
always thought Tony Romo is a better quarterback than he
got credit for. I feel like he got a lot
of heat because he was a cowboy quarterback.
Speaker 2 (38:18):
