Speaker 1 (00:01):
It is the best of two pros and a couple
Joe with Lamar Arrington, rading Win and Jonas.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Knox on radio.
Speaker 3 (00:13):
I'll say this, I don't know if Jimmy hoff is
still buried underneath Giants Stadium, but he's rolling over in
his grave with some of the bad offensive football that
stadium is seeing this season.
Speaker 4 (00:24):
Good Christ, Okay, let's just kick out the show with
this question. Would would you rather be a Giants fan
or a Jets fan?
Speaker 3 (00:32):
Jets?
Speaker 5 (00:32):
It's great, yess?
Speaker 3 (00:34):
Yes, okay, because at least that because I know I
know what the hope is and the future looks like
with the Giants. I got no idea. I have no clue.
Speaker 5 (00:43):
I don't know why you would think that.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
Well, because Rogers is still there when he gets.
Speaker 6 (00:47):
Rash and how long is that?
Speaker 5 (00:49):
How long is that going to last?
Speaker 3 (00:51):
Who knows?
Speaker 6 (00:51):
At least a couple of years?
Speaker 7 (00:52):
Come on, okay, y'all said that coming into this season,
Well he got so we can't be out a couple
of years and we might be one year now, I
mean you got to take one year off though.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
He's under contract for sure for three. How long is
body under contract two after this? So what's his body
going to give with that contract?
Speaker 6 (01:13):
This guy, he's guy.
Speaker 7 (01:14):
Well, I'm just saying negative y'all talking about who he
was a.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
Big Zach Wilson guy last year. I'm still Zach Wilson like.
Speaker 6 (01:23):
Rodney Harrison right now.
Speaker 7 (01:24):
Oh my god, I'm just saying. I get that he's
got a contract for a couple of years.
Speaker 6 (01:30):
That's great.
Speaker 4 (01:31):
Okay, Hey play devil's advocates. So you're on the giants
side here, what do you got?
Speaker 6 (01:35):
Nothing?
Speaker 3 (01:38):
What do you go sat?
Speaker 7 (01:41):
We got, we got, we got Aaron Hoping that Aaron
Rodgers can come back successfully from Achilles there, like, I don't.
I don't know that you have any hope, Like if
you're being realistic, which is the lesser of the two evils,
I mean, they're both evil.
Speaker 6 (01:55):
I was talking to a medical expert yesterday.
Speaker 4 (01:58):
He said that seeing him in that little boot wherever
it was, that he's a month ahead of schedule. So
it's almost like even though he had surgery three weeks ago,
it's almost like he's, you know, two weeks or excuse me,
two months out from when he had surgery, damn right.
Speaker 6 (02:13):
Which is kind of crazy to think.
Speaker 4 (02:15):
I mean, obviously, the speed bridge procedure is going to
speed this whole thing up.
Speaker 6 (02:19):
But the question should be.
Speaker 4 (02:21):
Kind of like a great job if the if Wilson
and the Jets aread even in a playoff position, why
would Rogers want to come back from meaningless games?
Speaker 3 (02:31):
Yeah, I don't think he's come back this year.
Speaker 6 (02:33):
Well, I mean they're making it seem like he's going to.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
I mean, I would love to have a shot. I
would love to see it happen. That would be phenomenal
television to kind of get to sit through and see
a play out. But it just feels like the Achilles
has always been And what if he you know, if
something happens and he suffers, you know, re injures it
or whatnot. I just I can't imagine he would come back.
And to your point, if they're not even in the
(02:57):
playoff race at that, like, what is what is reasoning
behind it?
Speaker 7 (03:01):
Technically? I don't know that you can re injure it
once it heals. I know you can, you can, you can,
you can't tear it. You can tear it again, but
based off you're actually supposed to have a stronger tendon
once they repair it. Is I think the theory behind it,
(03:22):
like you could injure it, but I don't know that
it would be based off of the prior injury.
Speaker 5 (03:27):
If that makes any sense. I mean I think that
that's the way it was.
Speaker 6 (03:31):
I don't know, man, I think you can reinsure it.
Speaker 7 (03:33):
You can reinjure anything. But I'm just saying it's like
in theory, when when they repair it, it's actually supposed
to be you built it stronger.
Speaker 4 (03:43):
It's like if you break a bonu grows back stronger.
I mean, that's just what I heard. I mean, I
don't know. The only thing i'd say about that you
can break, you know, anything or whatever. Like the appendix
a little different. You get that taken out. You don't
have to worry about that.
Speaker 5 (03:57):
Thing again, Yeah, you don't have to worry about it.
Speaker 7 (04:00):
I don't think you have to worry. Do you have
to worry about that? Is the appendix something you can
take out you don't eat? Yeah, that's like yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
Yeah, tonsons don't grow back. I don't think.
Speaker 5 (04:10):
You know.
Speaker 7 (04:11):
The cool thing about this conversation and where it's gone
is it's actually more interesting than the game.
Speaker 3 (04:16):
Oh come on, oh wow, that's right.
Speaker 6 (04:18):
You know you're not wrong, You're not you know, you.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
Don't find entertaining that Brian dayballs dump truck nuts, is
throwing you know, uh, surfaces, Yeah, tablets on the sideline.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
Adams was ready to fight the dude. That's it.
Speaker 6 (04:30):
You can't go back in.
Speaker 7 (04:32):
I mean it was like all the other storylines that
were more interesting to see than to watch the game.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
I'm not trying to laugh, but Jamal Adams reminded me
of a guy you see outside of college bar every
night at about one thirty, who is who's just passed off? Yeah,
because they're telling him you've had too much, and now
he's trying to fight the bouncers.
Speaker 6 (04:52):
Think about like and they're trying to help you.
Speaker 3 (04:55):
They're not making it up man Like he bad man.
Speaker 6 (04:57):
I mean he couldn't.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
He hasn't been able to play for what he and
then now it gets a shot and he gets you know.
Speaker 7 (05:02):
Then he gets back and was actually making plays like
he was just getting acclimated into the game.
Speaker 6 (05:08):
Said if you tell me what this is a compliment?
Speaker 4 (05:12):
He said, yeah, well, the best part of his game
at this point is as a blitzer.
Speaker 6 (05:16):
You know, he's basically turned into a linebacker. I was like, well,
that's not really friendly for a defensive back.
Speaker 7 (05:24):
No even let's see, it's like, let me just tell
And I'm certain there are no children awake right now
listening to us, but maybe there aren't. But if there
are some children listening and you played football, that is
one hundred percent plus extra credit plus extra credit. Absolutely
not the way you try to tackle. Like I mean,
(05:46):
he went out of his way to put his head
down and be as close to the ground as he
possibly could and trying to hit him.
Speaker 5 (05:54):
It is absolutely it's an absolute no. No.
Speaker 7 (05:57):
He might have got away with it, you know, and
made to tackle and not got knocked out, but I mean,
that's what happens when you do that. You know, you
torpedo yourself. You put your head down, you can't see
what you're hitting, You don't see what's going on. And
and Daniel Jones like that's like the equivalent of I mean,
(06:18):
it's it's a harder punch than a punch to your
to your you know, to your temple, like you get
hit with a knee.
Speaker 5 (06:26):
That is that's that is like the worst man.
Speaker 7 (06:29):
And bro I got hit my hit one time by
Tim Biakabatuca.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
He was running through the line. Y'all remember him.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
Number twenty one, right, he went to.
Speaker 7 (06:43):
The Carolina Panthers and he was with the Carolina Panthers
when his knee met my head and it made a noise.
Speaker 8 (06:51):
Here's the noise it made in my head. Doom doom, doom, doom, doom, doom, doom, doom, doom, doom, doom, doom,
doom doom doom.
Speaker 5 (07:04):
And then I got up and I was like, something
isn't right, something.
Speaker 3 (07:09):
Is not right.
Speaker 5 (07:12):
And I had a concussion. There you go.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
Wait, wait to play a drop right after the concussion
break down.
Speaker 7 (07:18):
Sam, it's perfect, but that's that's I'm certain he heard
the doom doom doom, doom doom doom like like that
was a hard knee, like hard knee to the head. Anyway,
I just I thought it was interesting, like what are
you what are you irate about?
Speaker 3 (07:36):
So it's like it's like throwing a shoe down a
flight of stairs basically.
Speaker 7 (07:41):
Or being in an empty room and throwing like a
pebble or a marble up against the wall. You know,
the noise it makes, like how it like like how
it echoes really really crazy for like really loud and
really long.
Speaker 5 (07:55):
But then it just starts to die out.
Speaker 7 (07:57):
That's that's what it sounds I mean, that's for me,
that's what it sounded like in my hit.
Speaker 5 (08:01):
So I'm pretty sure I.
Speaker 4 (08:04):
Think we should try to give some you know, credit
to the Seahawks though, Yeah, it helps me with eleven
sacks in the game.
Speaker 7 (08:13):
Is a stud man, Yeah, Bobby, I'm so happy he's back.
Speaker 6 (08:18):
Wagner's a stud.
Speaker 5 (08:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (08:20):
I mean that defense has really turned up. At the
beginning of the year, they couldn't get after opposing quarterbacks.
Last couple of weeks, now they've been much better. I'm
not sure if it's a more broader product of the
Giants offensive line. No Andrew Thomas, that seemed to clearly
play an issue, But I mean it's so hard to
figure out what exactly is wrong with the Giants. I mean,
(08:42):
no Saquon Hurts, the offense runs through him. We've seen
historically the numbers too for Daniel Jones without Saquon not good.
And without Andrew Thomas and the offensive line issues they've had,
It's like you kind of felt.
Speaker 6 (08:55):
Like that could have been a that was gonna end
up being a fire drill.
Speaker 5 (09:00):
I think the Seahawks are is it. Is it crazy
to say possibly?
Speaker 7 (09:07):
I mean, losing to the Rams, to me is not
a horrible loss, even though it's a horrible loss because
it's in the division, but it's the first game out.
It's first game out, and and then.
Speaker 5 (09:20):
You think about the wait, was there ans preseason? Is
that regular season? Regular season season? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (09:27):
I just I think I think that that was a
tough loss.
Speaker 7 (09:32):
But I think you almost have to look at as
Seattle as legitimately contender for for the West. I mean,
I know that San Francisco is going to run away
with it in a lot of ways, like they're just
really probably all the ways, probably.
Speaker 5 (09:49):
All the ways.
Speaker 7 (09:49):
But if there is one team that you could say
is maybe a dark horse that could challenge for it
or even get, you know, maybe that wild card spot,
it does look like Seattle has the ability to do that.
Speaker 5 (10:04):
Like it's a team that.
Speaker 7 (10:05):
Doesn't look I think they're continuing to approve, Like I
think they've improved from last season, Like I was impressed
watching them play.
Speaker 6 (10:14):
But I like that.
Speaker 7 (10:15):
I mean, that's against that's it's against the Giants, and
I don't know why the Giants are so bad, but
you know, but I think that like you said, giving
Seattle some credit, I think they're playing some fine football
right now.
Speaker 4 (10:28):
Yeah, they are gas playing better too. Like I'm not
saying he's playing what we saw, you know, the way
he's playing last year. But with Kenneth Walker back the
way he can play like, they've got a squad that
could be a playoff team, There's no doubt about it.
Speaker 3 (10:40):
In the last two draft classes, they've hit out of
the park. Yeah, they've They've done a pretty good job there.
They've they've been since I would I would say it,
I'm gonna go out on a limb here. I think
the Seattle Seahawks have so far, you know, come out
on the better end of the Russell Wilson trade, gonna
go out.
Speaker 6 (10:57):
On the Willison's one of those picks they got.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
Yeah, I feel like they've they've they've got the edge
so far, the advantage based on what we've seen in
any year plus from Russell Wilson and then also from
what we've seen out of the Seattle Seattle Seahawks the
past year plus. They feel like they're going to be
a playoff team again. The draft class has been great,
it was great last year and Pete Carroll looks like
he's rejuvenated. That guy. I've never seen anybody chew gum
(11:23):
at a more rapid pace than Pete Carroll in my life. Grady,
you played for him. What kind of gum are we
working with there? What do we love?
Speaker 4 (11:30):
I think it's that like bubble No, no, it's like that,
you know, old school like bubble gum stuff. They used
to have a big tub of it right there. That
the Yellow Rappers, Yeah, the little rappers you've braaid. Yeah,
I think it's like a bunch of those. Yes, it
loses its flavor really quick. Sam, you can come on
and say that, you have to say.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Producer back here. I was thinking that'd probably be a
bazooka joe with the bad, the bad little joke in it,
or has like a rub on tattoo.
Speaker 5 (11:56):
Or something that's hard, really hard.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
I think fruit stripes serve. What was it that had
the tattoo with it?
Speaker 4 (12:04):
Yeah, yeah, no, it's not that type of yellows close.
Speaker 6 (12:09):
I just don't know why you had hit me in
the ear about it, like conversation.
Speaker 3 (12:13):
They still make all that stuff. It is. It's rock hard.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
Got to put in the microwave for ten seconds for
those who get.
Speaker 9 (12:21):
For those of you listening, just imagine you're having a
football conversation and a voice in your ear just comes
on and goes Bazooka Joe, and it's multiple people on
the show with the same.
Speaker 6 (12:33):
Dude just trying to be for the conversation too.
Speaker 3 (12:35):
Sam's trying to do my job back here.
Speaker 6 (12:37):
We always enjoy when you come on.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
Bazuka Joe does run out of flavor really really fast.
Speaker 6 (12:43):
Yeah, it's it's insane, that's the problem is.
Speaker 4 (12:45):
And by the way, most gum does nowadays, I feel
like I'm not sure if there's like something to that,
Like maybe they're like, hey, we put some stuff in
there that may have cost cancer, but the taste lasted
for like an hour.
Speaker 6 (12:57):
Now they're like, yeah, we can't do that anymore. So
it is gonn last.
Speaker 7 (13:00):
It's called double bubble, is what it's called. Yeah, I
think that was what it was. Yeah, that's what it was.
Speaker 10 (13:06):
I'm seeing in a story there they're reporting that it's
bubble yum.
Speaker 3 (13:10):
Bubble yum.
Speaker 7 (13:12):
Bubble yum is very different than than bubble. Double bubble.
Double is literally double bubble, So it's double bubble.
Speaker 10 (13:24):
It's definitely the yellow one.
Speaker 5 (13:25):
Yes, original flavor, the yellow one.
Speaker 3 (13:28):
Yeah, the yellow one kind of sucks though.
Speaker 7 (13:30):
But that's the one that everyone has in their lockers,
very acidic. It's the one that everyone hasn't and you
just grab a handful and you put them in your pocket.
Speaker 3 (13:40):
By the way, they still sling in those those five
pack the little five stick pack a gum over in
the vending machine around the hall, Like, how long have
those been sitting there for?
Speaker 6 (13:49):
Like?
Speaker 3 (13:50):
Answer Lee, what's over in that vetting machine?
Speaker 6 (13:53):
I don't.
Speaker 3 (13:53):
I never get anything from the vending spearmint or something,
that's true.
Speaker 10 (13:59):
I'm going to walk all the way to the vending machine.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
I'm going to the liquor.
Speaker 7 (14:02):
He's got They said that the deodor and then the
liquor store is no good.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
That's not It burns a lot of things that are good.
Speaker 6 (14:09):
Lee, What have you bought in that liquor store besides liquor?
Speaker 2 (14:12):
Oh, that's a good question.
Speaker 10 (14:15):
Well, there's always liquor involved with the when you go there,
get toritos.
Speaker 6 (14:19):
Okay, So what what outside of have you bought there?
Speaker 10 (14:24):
Well, I mean, do you consider beer, liquor or?
Speaker 11 (14:28):
Lee?
Speaker 6 (14:29):
Aside from alcohol you bought at the liquor store. I too.
Speaker 10 (14:33):
Have actually had the same story as Jonas, where I've
had to get deodoran there once.
Speaker 6 (14:38):
If you guys didn't it, that's the only thing you bought.
Speaker 10 (14:41):
What else do you buy from the liquors or I
don't understand.
Speaker 6 (14:43):
I don't go to a liquor store that frequently as
much as you do at least, so.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
I mean, what about like a bag of chips, lotto tickets,
some SERTs.
Speaker 7 (14:51):
I definitely have good snacks and liquor stores. Yeah, you know,
you can get nuts.
Speaker 3 (14:57):
I used to do.
Speaker 10 (14:58):
They My go to was green Doritos salsa verde with
Arizona iced tea.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
That used to be my go to healthy I mean
that makes sense, all green, Yeah, yeah, I got my
greens in Yeah.
Speaker 5 (15:12):
Yeah, that's what I'm talking about.
Speaker 6 (15:16):
Sam had you there before.
Speaker 5 (15:19):
That's a good one.
Speaker 7 (15:19):
I mean Sam is on point, like that's that's what
you go in there for. These nuts? Yeah, they have
really good, good.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
Kind of nuts, you like, like a mixed deluxe nuts.
Speaker 7 (15:30):
You know, like there's this there's the nuts on on
the market right now. They're they're like maple maple something
nuts and and they had it almost tastes like you're
eating French toast and they.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
And they're like they're coated right almonds.
Speaker 7 (15:53):
Get them in the airport. They are freaking amazing.
Speaker 3 (15:57):
I think they are almonds.
Speaker 7 (16:00):
These ones I were eating were walnuts, but they have almonds.
Speaker 8 (16:03):
And they have I.
Speaker 7 (16:06):
Want to say, pistachi, not pistachios. What are the long ones?
What are the long like look like a horn or
something like that.
Speaker 3 (16:14):
Brazil nut?
Speaker 5 (16:16):
No, no, no.
Speaker 4 (16:17):
No, I'm gonna be honest with you. I don't know
any nuts that are considered.
Speaker 6 (16:20):
Long cashews, cashus.
Speaker 3 (16:25):
It's not really long, though long.
Speaker 7 (16:28):
They're longer than regularly. They are shaped like a Viking ship, Viking.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
Ship nuts or a clog.
Speaker 7 (16:38):
Either way, they taste good when I put them in
my mouth, and I enjoy the the way they flavored them.
They're like what you're saying, like the entire the entire bag,
the entire bag. I was even asking the people around me.
I was trying to share my nuts, you know, like
(17:00):
you want some of these nuts?
Speaker 6 (17:01):
Shear share share.
Speaker 3 (17:04):
I think it's sheer, which sounds Paul a long time ago. Sam.
Speaker 5 (17:08):
It's a Pittsburgh thing, man. You know, we we make
things we use uh stillers there you yeah, sure, ye
well yeah, sure, sure.
Speaker 3 (17:19):
And that'll wrap up our recap of Monday Night Football here.
Speaker 7 (17:22):
I mean, this was far more interesting and entertainment. Do
we want to go down the stat line?
Speaker 5 (17:28):
Yah?
Speaker 6 (17:28):
Is there anything else we missed there?
Speaker 5 (17:31):
No?
Speaker 3 (17:31):
I mean we got you know, some people that are
upset about some.
Speaker 6 (17:34):
The Giants are a playoff team?
Speaker 3 (17:36):
Yeah, okay, yeah they're not. They're not good.
Speaker 5 (17:39):
But what else are they not a good team?
Speaker 3 (17:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (17:43):
Well, I mean not a good team. So it is, so.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
Listen, there's there's all sorts of fun stuff coming up
on this show. You know, you know how we roll
on this show.
Speaker 6 (17:53):
Here.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
Be sure to catch live editions of Two Pros and
a Cup of Joe with Brady Quinn, LeVar Arrington, and
Nus Knox weekdays at six am Eastern, three am Pacific
on Fox Sports Radio and the iHeartRadio app.
Speaker 3 (18:07):
So we talked about Monday Night Football, just the disastrous
performance for the Giants the Seahawks get it done on
the road. Daniel Jones and Brady Quinn asked the question
who would you rather be right now? A Giants fan
or a Jets fan? And it feels like both are
kind of in a similar spot to where there's major
question marks about the quarterback. But it does feel like
(18:28):
we've reached a point in the Zach Wilson criticism on
the Jets side where we're kind of taking it a
bit over the top. Rodney Harrison, former legendary player in
the NFL for a long long time, had a great career.
He's does a fine job doing the pre and post
for Sunday Night Football for NBC, and he was talking
(18:50):
post game with Chris Jones of the Kansas City Chiefs
following the Chiefs win over the Jets on Sunday Night Football,
which we broke down yesterday on the show, and the
back and forth when a little something like this when
the conversation turned towards Zach Wilson, Well, Zach.
Speaker 12 (19:06):
Better tonight than what you anticipated.
Speaker 6 (19:08):
He would be watching him on tape.
Speaker 11 (19:09):
But you could be honest, honestly, if a man, completely honest,
we knew it was gonna be a better open. He's
continue to get better at weekend and week out, and
he's continued to lead weekend and week out.
Speaker 6 (19:21):
Watching that tape, man, you got to look at this dude, say,
oh he is Cark.
Speaker 12 (19:25):
It's like we should we should really terrible park earlier.
Speaker 6 (19:28):
Like I said, Thank Wilson is special, man. You just
got to give the guy.
Speaker 5 (19:31):
Time, you know.
Speaker 6 (19:32):
Wait wait, wait wait wait? Did you say Zach Wilson
is special?
Speaker 5 (19:35):
Yeah?
Speaker 12 (19:35):
I think he had a special night, But I don't
think he's special. I've got proved that over you're special.
Because you've proved it over the course, He's not special.
I'm just saying, Chris, I'm gonna saying.
Speaker 3 (19:47):
So that was Rody Harrison's back and forth with with
Chris Jones following the game. So Zach Wilson's getting it
from from all fronts. Robert Salah, the head coach of
the Jets. Apparently Rodney Harrison reached out to Zach Wilson
because some people definitely had issues with some of his comments.
Michael Parsons was one of those who took issue with
(20:09):
just how critical Rodney Harrison was of Zach Wilson, and
so Robert Soli of the Jets, he responded to the
question about the comments and how Rodney handled it afterwards.
Speaker 13 (20:20):
I heard about it, and from my understanding, Rodney this
morning handled everything the right way. Rodney's a good man,
and whatever he's getting for that is it's water under
the bridge. I think he's handled it exactly the way
he's supposed to be.
Speaker 7 (20:37):
All right, translation, I agree with what Rodney.
Speaker 14 (20:44):
No, oh no, come on, can I pick it up?
Speaker 4 (20:54):
Like, here's what I'll say is Rodney Harrison's an old
school player. What you what you heard when he was
interviewing was the player Rodney Harrison, and what he would
probably say in the locker room to his boys if
they had got out and they were going up against
the quarterback he didn't think was very good.
Speaker 6 (21:14):
Like that's that's what you saw. That's what you heard.
Speaker 5 (21:16):
Now.
Speaker 4 (21:16):
Some of it's made for CV, but like today's day
and age in world that they're not okay with that.
They're not okay with harsh criticisms. They're not okay with
really how things used to be, how things sometimes are.
I don't know that locker rooms are like that as
much anymore. Like I think this this younger group of
players is more kind of buddy buddy like it was.
(21:39):
It was funny after this past week's game called Minnesota Carolina.
He looked down on the field and my play by
play partner Alex Fous looks. He goes, does that look
kind of funny, and I said, yeah, and how all
portrayed it is. You had a bunch of dudes laying
down on the ground, down on their knees, all with
jerseys they're signing them to swapping them allst I was
(21:59):
like that, ISSU never happened. Never happened when I play,
when LeVar played, go back whenever you want, Like, it's
just it's changed now where guys just aren't as critical
of one another. And you know that's I'm not trying
to defend Rodney Harrison necessarily what he's saying. I'm saying
all your all. He was was giving you a glimpse
(22:20):
of really what he probably would have said if he
was still playing in the locker room, And so it
came off as completely unwarranted from a TV standpoint, because
there's really no point to talk like that, even though
he's not insulting him as a person, he's just kind
of talking about what he's seeing on the field so far.
Speaker 6 (22:38):
So it's his own opinion. I mean, he's got to
live with it.
Speaker 4 (22:41):
That's part of being on TV is when you say something,
you have to live with those words. But I think
in that instance, Rodny was just telling you exactly what
he'd be saying if he was a player. And it's
funny because it's the one thing that the media and
fans all claim they want to hear, and then as
soon as they hear it, it can't handle it.
Speaker 7 (22:57):
Yeah, Rodney, I mean that's what Rodney was known for
as a player. If people don't remember Rodney Harrison as
a player, Rodney Harrison was a dog.
Speaker 4 (23:09):
He was nasty like that. He was a smack talker.
He was physical, he'd be grabbing. I'd do anything he
could get you out.
Speaker 6 (23:16):
Of your game.
Speaker 5 (23:16):
We had our moments.
Speaker 7 (23:17):
I hit I hit Doug Flutie one time and I
think it was like an offside or something. I hit
him anyway, and Rodney was barking at me. Rodney, I
beat your ass man, you don't shut up. But he
don't care. He don't care if you're bigger, he don't care.
Like he don't care. He's a dog like he's He's
the type of dude you love to have as your
(23:38):
teammate and you hate to play against him like that's
he earned that reputation and and you had him in
say I on the same team.
Speaker 5 (23:45):
It's just crazy. I think that they were on the
same team.
Speaker 7 (23:48):
But the one thing, the one thing about a dude
like Rodney Harrison is he always is going to shoot
from the hip and he don't care like and he
does it well enough where you know, he's not going
to find himself really in trouble. He shouldn't find himself
or found himself in trouble saying what he said.
Speaker 5 (24:12):
I'm sorry.
Speaker 7 (24:13):
There are a lot of people that have said worse
about Zack Wilson. So for people to be up in
arms about something that Rodney said that wasn't glowing about
Zack Wilson, like you said, he wasn't taking a personal
shot at him. That's all about his game, and his
game has not been special. I mean, I think people
(24:34):
have been pulling for him. The people who have pulled
for him are pulling for him. The people who feel
like he can't do it, and you know the gig
is up for him that they feel the way they feel.
Everybody has their opinions, as you mentioned, like he gave
his opinion he thought he I mean, and let's be clear,
like when you call something trash, you're going for it
(24:55):
for a fact, Like you're not saying that he's trashed
like it's a it's a word that you use. It's
a trash talking term. Effect. It's like you're driving for effect, right,
So so in the end, if that, if that's too
much for you to handle, to be honest, you're in
(25:17):
the like you're in the wrong profession. If somebody calling
you trash as a professional athlete is an inflammatory to you,
is disturbing to you, you're hurt by it because a
commentator and analyst said said that he's trash or he's not,
(25:39):
He's not. There was nothing special about his game. This
was a special moment. It's a special game for him.
If you can handle that, If that, if that's upsetting
to you, you're in the wrong profession.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
That's what I would say.
Speaker 6 (25:52):
And I'm not throwing that at Zach Wilson.
Speaker 7 (25:54):
I'm just saying anybody who's acting as though Zach Wilson
shouldn't be able to shoulder that or that shouldn't like
roll off of him, like like water off of Duck's back,
Like it's not that's not a big it's not a
big deal.
Speaker 5 (26:07):
It's not.
Speaker 4 (26:08):
I think the thing that bothered me about at least
the position Rodney Harrison was in was the dude does
have arguably maybe his best night even in a losing
effort on a big stage, at least this season, maybe.
Speaker 5 (26:20):
In his career.
Speaker 6 (26:21):
I don't know, He's had.
Speaker 4 (26:23):
Other games, but like, at no point as an analyst
do you point that out, do you make mention of that.
I mean, he outplayed Mahomes and as an analyst, like
you got to get regardless of what your thoughts are
coming into the game, you got to give him credit
for that. And so it's a it's a little surprising
this the way he handled it and conducted himself with it,
(26:44):
almost like he just I.
Speaker 6 (26:46):
Don't know if again not like an a vendetta.
Speaker 4 (26:48):
But when you said before like he did it for
an impression, maybe you're doing it to draw attention to
what you're saying, but it's just it's not good analysis.
Like in that position, give the guy credit. He played well,
he played, gave his team every chance to winning that game.
It was not Zach Wilson's fault that they lost that game,
and yet he didn't want to acknowledge that at any
(27:09):
point in time, you know, And that's kind of what
more bothered me from how he handled it. It's just
it seemed like he did have, I don't know, a
malicious intent with how he was trying to get Chris
Jones to say something controversial, trying to make something buzzworthy.
Speaker 3 (27:24):
I mean, this is probably not the best time to
bring this up. But how's Rodney Harrison not in the
Hall of Fame? That was that about? He's got credentials, No,
two time All Pro, he's got all the Super Bowls,
like great reputation for being, you know, one of the
nastiest players in the game. Like, how's that guy is
because he was a dirty player somewhere.
Speaker 5 (27:45):
You won't get into the Hall of Fame not being
one of the nastiest.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
Yeah, but he's got a story.
Speaker 4 (27:50):
How many other guys have been two time All Pros
that have gotten Man, I'll be curious.
Speaker 5 (27:54):
To hear that.
Speaker 3 (27:55):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (27:56):
Usually it's more than that.
Speaker 3 (27:58):
I mean, I'm most notework the on his resume. I mean,
he's a leather neck, you know, Western Illinois. You guys
won't know about that, you know, what do you mean? Yeah, well,
I mean it's twelve after Anyways, we gotta get the
break couple of clock guys here. That's how we operate
the clock. Yeah, damn right, leave that alone, LaVar, leave
(28:20):
what leave that alone? A lot of ways we could
take that. What's that, Sam? I said?
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Shout out Macomb, Illinois?
Speaker 3 (28:27):
Yeah, what's up McComb.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
It's not far from Monmouth.
Speaker 5 (28:31):
Yeah, it's not the BSV two.
Speaker 3 (28:33):
Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 6 (28:37):
V too.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
Yeah that is two.
Speaker 1 (28:41):

about managerial decisions may have accredit to a dugout, maybe
in the nineteen eighties.
Speaker 15 (29:03):
It's the Book of Joe Podcasts. I can't wait for this, Joe.
We're going to dive into what goes on in the

Speaker 15 (29:13):
Yeah, well, there are no boundaries, right. Listen to the
Booker Joe Podcast on the iHeartRadio app, on Apple Podcasts,
or wherever you get your podcasts.
Speaker 3 (29:21):
So Monday Night Football. Last night, the New York Giants
went out and defecated all down the sides of their legs,
because that's what they've done so far this season. Offensively,
I believe them and the Jets are the only two
teams without an offensive touchdown on the first half, or
there's something like it, or the Giants are the only
team without an offensive touchdown the first half. Whatever, They're
(29:44):
just both both offenses seem to be struggling, and the
Giants seem to be really, really bad this season, coming
off the playoff appearance last year, a playoff win last year,
and everybody feeling great about where they're at and know
the Brian Day ball experience and Daniel Jones and all
that stuff. So not good for them. Also, it looked
(30:05):
like it wasn't going to be good for Gino Smith,
who went down with an injury. He was carted off,
he got looked at. He eventually came back and returned.
In the second half. We got to see a little
bit of Drew Locke, which was fun. Pete Carroll was
getting them pumped up. It led to a score, a
Noah Fan catching run down the sideline that led to
a one yard touchdown run. So Drew Locke came in
(30:26):
and played pretty well all things considered. But afterwards, Gino
Smith was asked by Lisa Salters about the injury and
the hit on the sideline, and he was none too pleased.
You got banged up in the second quarter.
Speaker 6 (30:39):
What happened?
Speaker 7 (30:40):
Oh?
Speaker 16 (30:41):
Dirty play? Dirty play? You guys can see it. It
was a dirty play. There's no place in this sport
for that. And you know, hopefully something happens. But other
than that, you know, the grace of God, you know,
allowed me to come back into this game, So I'm
happy to be back out there.
Speaker 3 (30:53):
You were pretty fired up for the entire rest of
the game. Just what was what were you upset about?
Speaker 16 (30:58):
You know what, I just don't I don't expect that
type of stuff, you know what I mean, there's no
need for that type of stuff.
Speaker 3 (31:03):
It's a hard fark game out there.
Speaker 16 (31:05):
We're all battling, but no need to take shots of
guys running.
Speaker 3 (31:07):
Out of bounds on the sideline. Was it? Was it
really that dirty of play?
Speaker 4 (31:12):
I mean, I didn't think it was, but I could
have to go back and look at it again.
Speaker 7 (31:18):
I mean, maybe in the moment it feels like that.
I just I don't know. I think that they're there
has to be a level of understanding of how fast
the game is moving and what happens in those moments
of the game moving so fast, you could think that
(31:40):
a guy is being dirty, but the guy's really just
trying to do his job. And and you know, every
every so often you'll see a guy like all right,
he'll hit you. You'll be literally two three steps out of
bounce and they nudge you, they knock you down.
Speaker 3 (31:58):
Whatever it is, Jerry Tillery, do you see that on
Justin Herbert? Like he was ejected for it, like that
was a dirty hit, like if.
Speaker 7 (32:04):
You're clearly out of bounce. But to me, I think
if it's close, if it was he.
Speaker 6 (32:10):
Clearly out of bounds on that one, that wasn't sure.
Speaker 4 (32:12):
It looked like maybe that hits started in bounds and
then got viciously out.
Speaker 3 (32:16):
Of bounds to hit on Gino Smith or no, on Herbert.
Speaker 6 (32:20):
It was close, and then I feel like thother thing
is he went high. Yeah, and that was what like
everyone freaked out about.
Speaker 3 (32:27):
Yeah, the Chargers had a red ass after the game
about it.
Speaker 4 (32:30):
No, Khalil Mack, I mean Eddie could speak this. Chargers
and Raiders hate each other. I mean, I know that
whole division. There's a lot of hatred between all the
teams and the rivalry. But maybe it's just everyone hates
the Raiders, now that I think about it.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
Eddie, were people throwing down after that hit? Did you
see any fights in the in the crowd? Anybody?
Speaker 6 (32:50):
No?
Speaker 17 (32:51):
Most of the Raider fans that I was around were like, oh,
that was a dirty hit. Yeah, oh yeah, he.
Speaker 3 (33:01):
Got he got ejected right afterwards.
Speaker 17 (33:03):
I did see one for former Charger by the way,
Jerry Tillery, Yeah.
Speaker 6 (33:07):
He had the red ass.
Speaker 4 (33:08):
I did see one Chargers fan light up a Raiders
fan in the stands.
Speaker 6 (33:13):
I did see that.
Speaker 3 (33:14):
Oh was there another fight? Yeah?
Speaker 17 (33:16):
That Raider fan though Brady, I gotta say, look like
a strong breeze would have blown him over because he
was fairly able to stand, if.
Speaker 6 (33:24):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 4 (33:25):
That's true that that the punch that the Chargers fan
landed that made it look like it.
Speaker 6 (33:29):
Was Mike Tyson out there. He knocked the guy back
down the stairs.
Speaker 5 (33:33):
Almost.
Speaker 3 (33:34):
Yeah. Well listen, I the hit on Geno Smith. I
didn't feel like that was dirty. It felt like he
was still in bounds, and when Simmons made the tackle,
his body weight just happened to drag him down from behind,
which led to the ankle injury. But Gino Smith made
it seem like it was reckless and dangerous and and
all the other things that came along with it. I
(33:56):
just I didn't I don't know what he's supposed to
do in that point. If he's making the tackle, is
Gino Smith's going out of bounds. Doesn't your body weight
lebar and your momentum just carry you through the tackle.
What's he supposed to do?
Speaker 5 (34:06):
Well?
Speaker 7 (34:07):
I mean, if you're making it inbounds, you're you're definitely
going to carry your momentum through through the play. I
mean that's just that's just how how it all works.
But I don't know. I just think again, it gets
a little little sketchy to me, Like if you're one
one or two, like literally maybe one step, and you've
(34:31):
committed to making the hit while you're still in bounced,
while he's still in bounced.
Speaker 5 (34:38):
It's hard to say it's dirty.
Speaker 7 (34:41):
It's hard to say it's dirty if the if the
quarterback is clearly out of bounce and and he gets
you know, obliterated by by the player. Now that's different.
But I just, you know, I didn't think that Isaiah
Simmons situation. I didn't think that that was egregious.
Speaker 5 (34:58):
I'll say, are you.
Speaker 4 (34:59):
Trying to say basically that the way that game ended
that the Charger were given the middle finger to the Raiders?
Speaker 6 (35:04):
Is that where you're trying to say there.
Speaker 3 (35:05):
Jonathan, Well, No, I mean, I'm just saying that.
Speaker 5 (35:07):
I'd bet I was talking about Geno. I wasn't even to.
Speaker 3 (35:11):
Well, I was just looking at the fight of this
Raider Charger fan. I mean, that's disrespectful to how we
long that that guy's going to put up a performance
like that in the stands trying to fight a Justin
Herbert guy?
Speaker 5 (35:21):
He got didn't he get knocked out right? Oh? Right quick?
It was quick, by.
Speaker 3 (35:26):
The way he looks scammered out of his mind. Yeah,
and listen, Justin Herbert's now got this injury that he's
dealing with. He's got a fractured middle left finger. I
don't know anybody it's ever fractured, just their middle finger.
That feels like it would be a little bit uncomfortable.
So he's got what they're being called a gruesome nail
injury like a fingernail injury. According to Ian.
Speaker 4 (35:49):
Rappaport, usually a gruesome fingernail injury that's ripped off.
Speaker 6 (35:53):
You don't have the nail anymore.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
Yeah, that sucks. I feel like that would be something
you'd want to have. But Eusin Herbert, I guess is
not going to miss any time. They've got a buy
week coming up, and the plan.
Speaker 6 (36:04):
Is why would he miss time?
Speaker 3 (36:05):
Why?
Speaker 6 (36:06):
Non throwing hand?
Speaker 3 (36:07):
You tell me what sort of issues could this broken
middle finger on his left hand cause a quarterback?
Speaker 6 (36:13):
Brady Quinn, I mean under center, that's about it.
Speaker 4 (36:16):
I mean, it's not his throwing hand, so it's not
really going to impact anything outside of taking a snap
from under center, which they tend to be in shotgun
quite a bit. And outside of that, you know, ball security.
If he does take off and run and the balls
in his left hand, he's probably not gonna be able
to grip it as as strong as he'd like. One
of the things that you can do, obviously, to circumvent
(36:37):
that is, you know, put a glove on it.
Speaker 6 (36:39):
You put a glove on it. It helps to enhance the.
Speaker 4 (36:41):
Grip and that might help or aid into it a
little bit more as as he looks to recover. But
I mean you said he's got two weeks and not
saying that if there's any sort of fracture in the
finger and all that, that'll be able to heal in time.
Speaker 6 (36:56):
But it'll be close.
Speaker 4 (36:57):
I mean that thing could be healed by the end
of the season, especially the way they'll protect it and
they'll try to do their best to make sure it's
not impacted even throughout the course of the game.
Speaker 6 (37:07):
In Week six when they take on Dallas.
Speaker 3 (37:10):
Would you guys rather break your finger or lose your fingernail?
I think I'd rather break my finger rather lose a fingernail.
Speaker 4 (37:17):
Yeah, I'd rather lose the nail. That just tells me
you've never broken a finger before.
Speaker 3 (37:21):
I've broken many fingers before.
Speaker 4 (37:23):
Then if you lost any nails in those fingers, No, okay,
trust me, it's not as bad.
Speaker 6 (37:29):
You'd rather lose your nail. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (37:32):
I'd rather go through the the aches and pains of
the broken bone. The fingernail feels like it would take
longer to grow back than the bone to heal.
Speaker 7 (37:39):
Isaiah Simmons try out to pull up too. He let
him go like, I'm watching it, I'm reviewing it right now.
He let them go like, can we make that a
new segment?
Speaker 6 (37:48):
By the way, what's that?
Speaker 5 (37:49):
Well?
Speaker 4 (37:49):
Could we make it where LeVar is official review, where
anything that's questionable the defense does LeVar gives us his
like his official review of how he sees it.
Speaker 7 (37:59):
Yes, this if he was trying to be dirty, I mean,
honestly cute. If a guy was trying to be dirty,
don't you think he'd be pulling on you?
Speaker 6 (38:07):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (38:07):
I mean I'm not joking about this, by the way,
Like I want imaging. I want all of this and
us to get psyched up and then have Var like
review a couple of like nasty hits that were like, hey,
that wasn't really notice.
Speaker 3 (38:19):
How about it was VARs video review.
Speaker 4 (38:23):
It's far Yeah, it's it's our We've got Var on
the show. Now we got Var, you know, morning.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
After VARs video review.
Speaker 7 (38:32):
I think we should just make cartoon characters of you,
me and and you and and have all you, me,
you and you, Like, Yeah, we we should have this
as like a cartoon.
Speaker 3 (38:45):
Like toy story, like one of those goofy.
Speaker 5 (38:47):
You guys are funny as hell?
Speaker 6 (38:49):
Did you have Andy watch that.
Speaker 4 (38:50):
By the way, No, why I was gonna have my
girls watch I want to see if they like, would
watch football with that if it was in a cartoon.
Speaker 3 (38:59):
No, I'm making to watch the prom learn real football.
Speaker 4 (39:01):
Oh god, so he's gonna learn steroids pretty damn right,
slamming little girls.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
He already said he wants to go as Latimer for Halloween.
Speaker 6 (39:08):
It's not sure. I mean, you do realize there are
some questionable scenes in that movie.
Speaker 3 (39:15):
With a lot of I'm choosing to ignore those scenes.
I'm just looking at the football.
Speaker 6 (39:20):
So this is just classic just forgetting them.
Speaker 3 (39:24):
I fully remember everything in that movie. I even remember
the original copy where they laid down in traffic and
next thing, you know, some people went missing, and so
they said, we got to take that out of the film.
But yeah, VARs VARs video reviews far.
Speaker 5 (39:41):
I like this.
Speaker 6 (39:42):
I like where this go ahead.
Speaker 4 (39:45):
We can actually even extend it to past football, like
all video review you know, aunquestionable social media videos we
put out there.
Speaker 6 (39:54):
Maybe we get VARs.
Speaker 7 (39:55):
Sitting there and how this Chargers fan is just destroying him.
He destroyed him like three different times, three separate times.
Speaker 4 (40:04):
Yeah, did he kick him at some point, I thought
I saw a roundhouse kick at one point.
Speaker 6 (40:08):
Did that happened?
Speaker 7 (40:10):
Was he was just one handing, like just one hand disrespecting.
Speaker 5 (40:13):
To do man?
Speaker 3 (40:14):
Yeah, but I don't know how I feel about Sofi Stadium.
I don't know if I like it or not. It
just looks it looks like a giant gazebo.
Speaker 5 (40:22):
I'm out. You know, you guys don't like it.
Speaker 4 (40:24):
You can't walk all the way around on every level.
That's like you literally have to go down or up
to certain levels to walk around.
Speaker 3 (40:31):
I mean it's really nice. I just I don't know.
Speaker 5 (40:34):
There's just not a lot of I'm.
Speaker 3 (40:35):
Trying to look for some character to it.
Speaker 7 (40:37):
Those screens are so high, deaf man, super high deaf Eddie.
Speaker 3 (40:42):
Is it true that you've been pounding the table for
them to resurrect Qualcomm Stadium so you can drive back
to San Diego for games? Is that true?
Speaker 6 (40:49):
That is a negative on that.
Speaker 3 (40:52):
How do you feel about Sulfi.
Speaker 17 (40:54):
After being at that dump Qualcom and then the uh whatever,
all the places? I think it's it. I love it
is right though you can't just walk around it.
Speaker 4 (41:06):
I mean, whoever designed it like you didn't think at
some point that create enough of an inconvenience where people
be like, this is stupid.
Speaker 3 (41:13):
I love walking around stadiums. I love seeing that you.
Speaker 4 (41:16):
Can't so far totally depending on the floor you're on,
you cannot walk all the way around that thing.
Speaker 17 (41:21):
Our colleague Ben Mallor has a good story of the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers broadcaster Gene Deckerhoff, who I believe is
called it quits there recently.
Speaker 3 (41:31):
But fire he was.
Speaker 17 (41:34):
He was walking around and so far and just he
had no clue what to do or where to go.
And and Ben Ben did the nice thing and it
helped him to get where he needed to go.
Speaker 3 (41:46):
The prep off.
Speaker 6 (41:47):
He looked like.
Speaker 17 (41:49):
He just had no idea what the hell he was
going to do to try and find the broadcast booth.
Speaker 3 (41:54):
But as well get and on my way there. I
love Gene decker Off one more time there shut us
touchtow Tampa Bay. We were interviewing him when I was
doing a radio show in South Carolina. We had him
on as an interview because I think South Carolina or
Clemson was playing Florida States. We were doing a preview
and literally in the middle of the interview, he said,
(42:16):
all right, guys, got to go. The couch is here.
He was getting a couch delivered the house and literally
hung up on us so you can get the couch
into the front door.
Speaker 6 (42:24):
I'd mean, first off, how long were you on that show?
Speaker 5 (42:27):
For it?
Speaker 6 (42:27):
You've got so many stories that you'd even make it
a year on that show, did you?
Speaker 16 (42:30):
No?
Speaker 5 (42:30):
Not a year? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (42:31):
Thanks for bringing that up.
Speaker 6 (42:32):
I'm just saying you have a lot of stories from
a show that didn't even last a year.
Speaker 1 (42:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (42:36):
Listen, I'm a storyteller. What do you want from man?
Speaker 4 (42:38):
Yeah, it's gonna be a touchdown Tampa Bay.
Speaker 14 (42:41):
See, oh wow, touch out Tampa Bay.
Speaker 6 (42:45):
I mean, let me ask you this, Jonas. Yeah, you've
never lapsed a.
Speaker 4 (42:49):
Radio interview to get a couch delivered out of the
piece of furniture for that matter.
Speaker 3 (42:53):
No, that's never been, never been my move.
Speaker 4 (42:56):
But if you called me, I would literally hang up
on you just to get a couch or a piece of.
Speaker 5 (42:59):
Fur you're delivered.
Speaker 6 (43:01):
That's messed up, I know, but I'm just being honest.
Speaker 5 (43:04):
I would.
Speaker 3 (43:05):
Yeah, but you couldn't tell the guys like hey, just
bringing it, like put it on hold and say all right,
just bring it in. We're going to set it right there.
You know, it's it's poor planning by him. I'm gonna plame.
Speaker 4 (43:14):
Would you want to would you want him to put
it on mute and say that or just do they
keep it live?
Speaker 3 (43:17):
And keep it live it's more entertaining. Albert Breer has
his phone cut out every week he was attacked by dogs.
Speaker 5 (43:24):
One week his turn signals on. He has flashers. I
mean he ab does not hit mute.
Speaker 3 (43:31):
Fire alarms go off during this show. We still move on,
We march on. We do this show. So moving company
brings in some recliner you ordered, and you can't just
be like, all right, put it right there. So anyways,
what did you guys want to get back to on
the game? Instead he just hung up on us.
Speaker 6 (43:47):
Well again, maybe how long that show is going to be?
Speaker 3 (43:53):
That's true, hang on for very long before show? The
last lesson a year?
Speaker 6 (44:02):
How long did it make it? Ten months?
Speaker 3 (44:05):
Not that? What are we doing here?
Speaker 5 (44:06):
All right?
Speaker 3 (44:06):
I'm asking you what are you trying to shame me?
Speaker 6 (44:09):
No, I'm just asking the question. We never talked about this.
Speaker 3 (44:12):
I don't even think it made it that long. It
was not. Yeah, it was unfortunate, very disappointing.
Speaker 5 (44:17):
Why you think, why you think it didn't work, that.
Speaker 3 (44:20):
Had no money? You go with that? Well that always
you know, you know that you know the station is yeah,
you know the station's not doing well. When one of
the morning show co hosts is also washing dishes at
the Sesame restaurant in the Charleston Mall at night, that's probably, uh,
probably probably when you go through. Yeah, things are a
(44:40):
little bit of a struggle there, but at least Jean
Deckerhoff got his nice Was.
Speaker 4 (44:45):
There not an opportunity to wait on tables at that restaurant?
I mean usually you make more money waiting on tables
than you washing dishes?
Speaker 3 (44:50):
Yeap, Because I just thought it would be easier to wash.
Speaker 4 (44:52):
Oh so that radio host was you, Yeah that was me. Okay,
so made that seem more anonymous.
Speaker 3 (44:58):
Yeah, so, I I just figured there would be it
would be better to wash dishes than have to.
Speaker 5 (45:03):
Nobody would see you and hear your voice. Table.
Speaker 3 (45:06):
Well, the best person.
Speaker 7 (45:08):
Walking to the table and you're like, hey, how you doing,
I'm Jonas. They're like, wait, I know your voice.
Speaker 6 (45:13):
Your name.
Speaker 3 (45:13):
The best part was when they brought me in for training.
I'm walking through the kitchen and the guys are like, hey,
I just heard you on the radio this morning. I
was like, christ, yeah that was me. You're still your
hands and pants? Son?
Speaker 6 (45:28):
Why you didn't want to wait tables?
Speaker 3 (45:30):
I just didn't want to deal with check homie. Yeah,
they didn't want to deal with people. Hey, radio boy,
radio boy, we need spoons?
Speaker 6 (45:43):
You got them soft?
Speaker 3 (45:44):
Paul Malive hands, ain't no notion here? Boy? What did
glass wear a sap ahole?
Speaker 6 (45:55):
You washed dishes? Don't you?
Speaker 3 (45:58):
Not good? Uh? But again, Justin Herbert should be back
after the bye week.
Speaker 6 (46:04):
When you were watching those.
Speaker 3 (46:11):
Someone shoot you with a baby gun.
Speaker 18 (46:12):
Boy, little gothic boy, that's wrong with you?
Speaker 3 (46:26):
It is two pros and a cup of joon. Here
on Fox Sports Radio, LeVar Rington Brady Quinn Jonas talks
with you
