It looks like three people of the bouncing, three different
people on a stroll.
Speaker 5 (01:36):
What is that a carrier? You need a wheelbarrow for
those things? Oh my god, cannons.
Speaker 6 (01:47):
How are the bets? Though?
Speaker 5 (01:50):
Who that?
Speaker 6 (01:53):
Jonas needs to do some hard research into this.
Speaker 4 (01:55):
Oh man, It's the only kind of research I.
Speaker 5 (01:58):
Got to get in between, you know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (02:00):
You gotta get a research Yeah, all right, gotta feel
it out, make sure it's right.
Speaker 5 (02:05):
You know what I mean. By the way, that's about
a way.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
That's the espresso shot LeVar needs in the morning.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
Man. You see, I'm all giddy now. I'm telling you that.
You know how that makes me?
Speaker 6 (02:17):
Had I known this, I considering every day?
Speaker 5 (02:20):
Oh man, that this gets me going.
Speaker 4 (02:22):
Man, just you know, parking lot filled the Zeppelins.
Speaker 6 (02:26):
I know.
Speaker 7 (02:28):
Jonas was like, LeVar is gonna love this.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
I know his type.
Speaker 7 (02:35):

Speaker 3 (02:58):
I'm trying to me it's kind of funny. Man who listen.
I was on the airplane yesterday. I was enjoying listen.
I was ready to be off to myself for the flight.
I met this this wonderful lady. Her name is Ceci.
Shouts out to Cec. If you're listening, she's probably going tune.
It's probably too early for her to be listening right now,
but she's she's as part of a board and she's
(03:22):
part of the audit, part of the board of a
couple of big companies.
Speaker 5 (03:26):
But super cool person.
Speaker 3 (03:27):
We're sitting there, we're talking, chopping it up, and the
guy like this guy behind me who's probably listening, and
I didn't get your name, so I apologize for that, boss,
but thank you, thank you for what you did. But
tap me on my shoulder and he was like Jonas
like are you are you gonna think? Are you Jonas
Knox And I looked at him and I was like,
(03:48):
I was like, you do know that Jonas is NOx Agon, right,
But before I could get it out, he was like, nah,
I'm joking, man, But I listened to the show every day. Man,
you guys are the best. I was like, really, like, dang,
I start scratching my head, like is our show that good?
Speaker 5 (04:07):
Is it? It's pretty good? Pretty good?
Speaker 3 (04:09):
It's like, uh I was, I mean, I was pretty
I was pumped up about it, man, and people were
looking and it was all off of him recognizing my voice.
Speaker 5 (04:17):
Man, it's pretty cool.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
I'd have loved.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
I mean, that's like the greatest moment of my life
right there, Like you call me Jonas? Yeah, being confused
for you, Like, that's what a moment.
Speaker 5 (04:28):
You know, he was a brother for about two minutes.
You was my brother for.
Speaker 1 (04:34):
Forty time, dropped three seconds, swag met a sudden, it's crazy, tang,
all sorts.
Speaker 5 (04:43):
Of stuff, all sorts of well.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
We we appreciate everybody that listens. And yeah, thanks, thanks.
I mean I wish you would have given his name.
We would have given him a shout out to it
I forgot to get his name, guy who tapped LeVar
on the shoulder. We appreciate it. I appreciate the support.
And uh and we are off and running here on
a Wednesday morning, here until nine am Eastern time, six
o'clock Pacific. Now, we did get the rosters in the
(05:07):
NFL cut down to fifty.
Speaker 4 (05:08):
Three around the league.
Speaker 1 (05:10):
We're gonna get into, you know, some speculation, maybe there's
some people that are gonna get traded. But uh, have
you guys noticed that people sort of look at the
trimming down of rosters. And I didn't even see this
until Brady pointed it out. But like Kadarius Tony gets released,
you know, like they they move on from him in
(05:30):
Kansas City, and some smart ass posts a picture of
the blue medical tent on Zillow and says, Cadarius Tony
already has his house up for sale.
Speaker 8 (05:41):
Oh no, that's pretty good, though everyone's yad jokes, it's
pretty good.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
It's right.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
The guy literally just had his dreams crushed, like just crushed.
Like and maybe he'll he's gonna catch on somewhere else
and get an opportunity. But for a lot of these guys,
like this is it twenty two to twenty three years old.
Something you've done your entire life and now you just
got to go figure out what's next because there may
not be an opportunity for you. And people are posting
(06:08):
fake Zillow pictures of a blue medical tent after somebody
gets cut.
Speaker 5 (06:13):
It's really funny.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
It's you don't want to like wish ill upon anybody
or anything like that, but I mean that's pretty funny, man.
Speaker 8 (06:24):
Bro.
Speaker 6 (06:24):
Did you see the worst one? Though?
Speaker 5 (06:26):
Did JaMarcus Russell? One?
Speaker 9 (06:28):
No?
Speaker 5 (06:30):
Which one did you see? I was just talking about
that before the show started.
Speaker 8 (06:34):
Jam voted the player ever the Desmond Riddle one?
Speaker 4 (06:40):
No, No, I didn't see that one.
Speaker 8 (06:41):
So Desmond Ridder did a partnership of door Dash and
it's a commercial where he's working out that he's delivering stuff.
Speaker 5 (06:49):
On door Dash.
Speaker 8 (06:50):
And yes, obviously he got released yesterday, so you can
connect the dots. But I was like, this is cold, Like,
whoever whoever did this is it's cold?
Speaker 10 (07:00):
Now.
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Did you see the one where the kid was they
fell into the cinnament toast crutch like it's like his
best impersonation, that Desmond Ritter.
Speaker 5 (07:13):
I believe that's what it was I could be off though.
It was a little early.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
Wait what this little kid that was in the grocery store,
Alan was doing something.
Speaker 5 (07:23):
And he was doing like his little jig or whatever.
He stumbled and fell. It fell into the cinnamon toast crunch.
Not the cinnamon toast crunch. It's just.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
A lot going on the internet. I mean, there's so
many things going on in the internet. Man, That's all
I can tell you.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
I mean.
Speaker 1 (07:43):
And you know, meanwhile, you know, you got people who
are sitting their heartbroken because now they're not going to
get to play or continue or pursue their dreams.
Speaker 4 (07:50):
And people out there just make jokes.
Speaker 1 (07:52):
I wonder how many of those people have actually pursued
something for their entire life and had it taken away,
Because if they did, I think of my change their
perspective and all that stuff.
Speaker 8 (08:03):
No, the farthest they've gotten is to the refrigerator to
grab something out of there, d do some chips.
Speaker 6 (08:09):
That's that's usually. That's usually most people.
Speaker 8 (08:13):
Most people who are like goal oriented and like high achievers,
they're not paying attention to anything that's set on social media.
Oh yeah, I'm just I'm throwing it out there like
these are the people that you kind of, you know,
you kind of leave high school with, and twenty years
later you're like, what are you doing?
Speaker 6 (08:29):
They're like, oh, the same thing, Like oh okay, all right,
So this is.
Speaker 5 (08:32):
Some of them so good at creating the hateful things
that they create, though it's such good stuff.
Speaker 3 (08:39):
Some of the material is really good, even though I
want to hate them, like.
Speaker 6 (08:43):
I hate the Desmond River, Like that's not that good.
It's just that what's kind of a layup.
Speaker 1 (08:49):
I mean, it's like the one during the season where
like if two quarterbacks have a bad game or something,
there's the gift that goes out of the two trash
cans floating down the street. It's like, hey, look at
so and so and so and so had on their
way back to the locker room.
Speaker 4 (09:04):
It's say, come on, man, like we're really like like
nobody safe. There's literally nobody safe.
Speaker 3 (09:10):
It was very, very apparent on our texting yesterday that
I am the pessimist of our group.
Speaker 5 (09:16):
You know, I know you guys are super positive. So
I get it.
Speaker 3 (09:21):
I get I get the hate, like I get having
the hate in your heart, Like I understand it, but
I don't know man, Like I'm more. I'm more hateful
towards like situations and scenarios. Right Like I'm the I'm
the person that's like I hate the world because I
didn't make the roster, I didn't make it right. But Q,
on the other hand, Q is the guys like, you
(09:42):
know what, I played well in high school, made it
to college, made it to college, got my education there,
made it to the Pros, and it just didn't work
out in the Pros.
Speaker 5 (09:53):
But you know what, how many people get to to
make it this far and be in the locker room
and you know, attend the game.
Speaker 8 (10:03):
Like I'm not sure you know what I mean, I'm
not sure that's exactly how I feel.
Speaker 7 (10:07):
Sure.
Speaker 3 (10:08):
I mean, I'm just saying, you know, I feel like
you're you're the glass hand.
Speaker 6 (10:12):
Can I be honest pull back the curtain.
Speaker 8 (10:15):
Someone gave us a compliment yesterday, and LeVar responded, like,
let's say I have two sisters.
Speaker 6 (10:21):
A mom and a wife, now three daughters.
Speaker 8 (10:24):
Very much like their respond Whereas you're like, oh, that
dress looks beautiful on you, and they're like, oh, what
what I was wearing before?
Speaker 5 (10:33):
Does it?
Speaker 6 (10:33):
That's basically how var responded.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
So you say in every other dress I wore before today,
didn't I didn't look good.
Speaker 8 (10:39):
That's exactly how you responded to a guy who gave
us a compliment about our show, and.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
You looked for the Wait a minute, it's taking what
I said. Yeah. I was like, I was like, yeah,
that's dope. What Wait a minute, So we're have we
been that bad?
Speaker 5 (10:57):
All right? And then you got me.
Speaker 3 (10:59):
You wrote me back in, you reeled me back in.
I choose to stay on the positive side of things.
Speaker 5 (11:04):
I was like, all right, I'm with you.
Speaker 6 (11:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (11:06):
I was like, dang, I really am the hater of
the crew. Like I immediately thought about the New York Jets.
That is the first thing that popped into my mind.
I was like, you know what, that's how they feel
about me and these New York Jets. It is what
it is. Yeah, what mean y'all would be.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
Right that you're a hater.
Speaker 3 (11:23):
I don't feel like I'm hating them, No, I just
I'm just a glass half fool with them.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
I mean half empty, half that fool. I'm half empty
on them. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (11:33):
Well, I mean if you leave Robert Salah, he's not
closing the door on his song it coming back.
Speaker 8 (11:37):
Here's here's why much like, if you're the team right
now in the NFL, I start off with the glassie full,
because that's all you have to do at this point
in time the season.
Speaker 6 (11:49):
It's the Yeah, thirty two teams, anyone could win it.
Speaker 5 (11:52):
Now.
Speaker 6 (11:53):
In my heart, after experiencing the NFL.
Speaker 8 (11:55):
I think, you know, there's like eight teams, probably eight
to ten franchises you feel like are legitimately trying.
Speaker 5 (12:03):
To win a Super Bowl.
Speaker 8 (12:05):
Most are just trying to run a profitable business, and
then the rest are just like it might be like
a cool toy the billionaire owner has, but the reality
is at the start of the season, you can be
optimistic because it's all out there for you.
Speaker 6 (12:22):
You know, it's all there for you.
Speaker 8 (12:24):
It's once you get into it, about eight, nine, ten
weeks where you get an identity of that team, you're like, this,
it is probably not gonna work.
Speaker 10 (12:30):
You know.
Speaker 8 (12:32):
That's the time where you can be a glass half empty. Guy,
I got you, And then what do you do? You
just got to wait the whole last few weeks in
the season and help u Oh yeah you have to endure. Yeah,
You're just you're like you're dragging it along. You know,
you're looking for the social media videos that are bouncing,
but you're not finding those anymore, you know, yeah those
are God, that's not your algorithm anymore. It's just all
(12:52):
depression and sadness. And it's like, you know, sad little
animals that need to be adopted, that aren't gonna get
adopted and probably gonna euthanize.
Speaker 6 (12:59):
Like it's just it's terrible stuff.
Speaker 1 (13:00):
Yeah, but when you get the check every week or
every two weeks, however, they do it like it's gonna
make it feel a little bit better, Like, yeah, we
suck at least from getting paid.
Speaker 8 (13:08):
Oh you're talking about as a player. Yeah, no, that
that does it. You don't think about the money at
that point.
Speaker 5 (13:13):
You don't. You definitely don't.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
What else are you thinking about that if you suck,
at least you're getting paid.
Speaker 6 (13:19):
Like how you can get better, what you can do
to improve? I mean you're trying to find solutions.
Speaker 8 (13:23):
Man, You're doing all everything you can, and you're just
hoping and praying that when you are outmatched it can
be your day. You know, there's a thing called that
you know money Carlo scenario, right, do like ten thousand times,
and that's usually how they do with all these algorithms,
you know which team is gonna beat.
Speaker 6 (13:40):
Which team, and sometimes it could be as bad as.
Speaker 8 (13:44):
Like an eighty twenty scenario, and you're just like hoping
that today is one of those days where it's gonna
be your twenty percent, Like you're gonna find a way
of up saying you're find a way winning the game.
Speaker 3 (13:54):
Well, listen, you know what you be thinking? Will you
be losing it? You got a whole lot of season left?
Speaker 5 (14:00):
Can I eat?
Speaker 3 (14:04):
Where can I go? You goes anywhere you go out
to eat? Like, hey man, what the hell is wrong
with y'all?
Speaker 6 (14:10):
What do you mean you're getting door dash?
Speaker 5 (14:14):
We didn't have door dash back?
Speaker 6 (14:15):
No, back then, we spot that delivery.
Speaker 5 (14:18):
You had to find a spot. You even get it
that fast, fool.
Speaker 7 (14:22):
You be at Burger King, take your order, Let me
get done of that.
Speaker 5 (14:25):
Get up to the window.
Speaker 6 (14:27):
You gotta find that.
Speaker 5 (14:28):
Wait a second, you're gonna find that.
Speaker 8 (14:30):
Hold the ball Mom and pop shop Italian place. You
know when they've got like Enrico, Who's who's ordering it?
You know, I'll go ahead deliver the food for you.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
From certain people out to get soccer games.
Speaker 8 (14:41):
Now they watch the problem is they're betting against you,
so I don't mind it.
Speaker 6 (14:45):
They're actually winning off of your demise.
Speaker 8 (14:49):
That's that's the thing, is no gladly delivered to you
because they're like, yeah, keep it.
Speaker 3 (14:52):
Up, pal, beat out one time, man, I told to
get experiences with beat out one time.
Speaker 6 (14:59):
Where you go?
Speaker 3 (15:00):
It was somewhere. You're like, all right, I made it
out like it didn't happen right on your way out
of you You leave it out. You think you guys
gonna do any better this week I was at the door,
Gottie right in the back back.
Speaker 5 (15:18):
It's stings.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
It stings the worst when you thought you got away
with it too, Like I made it up out of here?
Speaker 6 (15:23):
Man, Are we done?
Speaker 5 (15:25):
What you mean? Are we done?
Speaker 10 (15:28):
Tag?
Speaker 3 (15:28):
I had to do that my whole career, Man, we was.
We was some trash my entire pro career. And then
I get to New York and I wasn't even a
good enough contributor to be happy about doing well. Like
it's like the success of the team. I'm like, dang,
we're a really good team. I'm not really doing anything
to make us any better. I didn't get to I
(15:50):
didn't get to be a part of good, but I
got used to figuring.
Speaker 5 (15:53):
Out how to be bad.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
It was like, man, you figure out different ways to
be positive about the bad.
Speaker 8 (15:59):
See, that's that's that's the positive in that. I don't
look at it like that from a positive perspective. I
just looked at it more as like, well, you're learning,
you know, like you're you're figuring out different ways of
how you don't want to lose, you know, like you're like,
well that was unique, Like I'll never forget. We lost
to Detroit on a last second hail mary.
Speaker 6 (16:21):
What they call defensive past interference.
Speaker 8 (16:23):
Now I've seen a lot of hail mary's, I've never
seen a defensive past interference called. But of course it
just so happened to be the case. And so then
there's an additional play. Of course, Stafford goes in throws
a touchdown pass, and then I believe, I don't know
if they kicked the pat whatever it was. I stopped
watching at that point. I was like, you got to
(16:44):
be kidding me, Like, like, how many teams lose on
a end of game, no time left, hail Mary? That
falls to the ground, But oh no, no, it's defensive past interference.
And then you got to come out and and deal
with that. It's like, it's just it's a it's a rare,
especially in the NFL, only because it's such a huge
advantage for the offense to throw it up from wherever
(17:08):
and then now, all of a sudden you get an
additional untimed down from like the two. It's like that
dramatically changes or one, whatever it is, dramatically changes how
things are gonna work.
Speaker 5 (17:18):
That sucks, man, Oh yeah, that would hurts.
Speaker 10 (17:21):
That.
Speaker 3 (17:21):
That what sucks, man, bad sucks. But you know what,
somebody's got to do it. For every Tom Brady, there's
a LeVar Arrington.
Speaker 5 (17:29):
Man.
Speaker 3 (17:29):
Come on, I'm telling you, there's gotta be an opposite
end of the spectrum. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to
look out of Tom Brady and admire him as much
as you do. You know, I just and some of
us we embrace it. You just got to learn to
embrace it. That might be why I'm such a hater.
That might be why I'm so negative. God developed that
I wasn't always like this. I wasn't always like this, guys.
(17:52):
I was made this way. I was born in the dark.
You know, I lived there. I lived there oh, you
only visits, but I I was born here.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Well, why don't you if you want to feel better
about things, don't you go back onto the text chain
and look at the individual juggling Duffel bags on the water.
Speaker 6 (18:12):
That's a little bit.
Speaker 3 (18:13):
I mean, I definitely will be playing some uh some
corn holding. I am back in college. I am in
the last building. Shots out to my Penn State Nitney lines.
I had him saying, we are Penn State on plane
over here. We almost didn't make it in because I'm crazy.
Did y'all see the crazy like thunderstorms, lightning storms taking
(18:36):
place in Chicago? Dang's crazy. Man almost didn't in here?
Really yeah, crazy bro? Then it was done. Just craziness
and that it was done.
Speaker 6 (18:47):
So that's that summer, you know, summertime in west.
Speaker 5 (18:50):
Man, good Man. I didn't think we was gonna make
it in, but we did.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington, Brady Quinn, Jonas Knox with
you here.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
Coming up and uh we'll call it about I don't know.
Speaker 1 (20:57):
Twenty minutes from now here from the tire Raq dot
comte videos, we are going to get an update on
one of the major storylines that passed through the headlines
over the past couple of months. The very latest on
that storyline for you here is going to be happening
in about twenty minutes from now here.
Speaker 4 (21:13):
From the tire rack dot Com studios.
Speaker 1 (21:16):
You guys turned off Chimp Crazy on the Uh you
turned it off?
Speaker 5 (21:20):
Did you turn off chimp Crazy.
Speaker 4 (21:21):
Why you got me talking like that?
Speaker 1 (21:22):
I just got confused for you yesterday. That's supposed to mean, Hey,
my voice got deeper after that plane ride.
Speaker 3 (21:29):
Hey man, I haven't seen it yet, have have you
guys actually watched?
Speaker 10 (21:33):
No?
Speaker 5 (21:34):
I don't want to see that get their face chewed off.
Speaker 4 (21:36):
That's the thing.
Speaker 1 (21:36):
I don't want to see a pet chimpanzee rip off
somebody's fingers.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
And and and light them up like their cigar.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
Like everybody be acting like they love these exotic animals
and all this what happened till something goes bad?
Speaker 5 (21:49):
Man.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
There's a new show on hbo U called Chimp Crazy,
and it's about these people that.
Speaker 5 (21:55):
Yeah, it's like the tiger du tiger. Yeah, but I
don't know.
Speaker 4 (22:04):
Chimpanzees feel like at a moment's notice.
Speaker 5 (22:08):
Oh it could be it could be over.
Speaker 4 (22:10):
Like they're eating cereous Don't they throw the crap at you.
Speaker 6 (22:12):
Or stuff like that?
Speaker 3 (22:13):
Will?
Speaker 5 (22:13):
Yeah, all of them will.
Speaker 6 (22:15):
Why would you want any pets that could literally throw
crap at you?
Speaker 4 (22:20):
Yeah, I don't know, or rip your hands.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
Or could potentially be smarter than you. Like that's the
thing to me, Like that animal could actually potentially be
more intelligent than you and out smart you in your
own environment. And you have that as as in your mind,
that's your pet. Like I don't know, man, Like they're
stronger than you and they're smarter than you.
Speaker 5 (22:45):
You're in trouble.
Speaker 1 (22:46):
You're in trouble, and they're showing video these people like
sleeping in bed with them, Like do you imagine like
getting a decent, nice sleep knowing that that thing could
literally eat you while you're while you're just taking a nac.
Speaker 5 (22:57):
You could just go walk into the kitchen.
Speaker 1 (23:00):
You could be snoring, you could be snoring the wrong
way one night and the next thing you know, he's like,
you know, using your kneecap as a coaster.
Speaker 4 (23:07):
Like it's just the whole thing is weird and people.
Speaker 3 (23:11):
Maybe he decided he wanted to, you know, you know,
have some fun.
Speaker 5 (23:17):
Ye, what you're gonna do?
Speaker 7 (23:19):
What what you're gonna do?
Speaker 3 (23:24):
You're gonna lay there, You're going You're gonna get violated,
That's what you're gonna do.
Speaker 4 (23:28):
What's the matter with you?
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Man?
Speaker 7 (23:32):
Stop?
Speaker 5 (23:34):
Stop? Know stop what you mean? Stop? Stop? Well?
Speaker 1 (23:43):
Uh, if you believe Zach Taylor, the head coach of
the Cincinnati Bengals, Jamar Chase will not stop playing for
the Bengals, and in fact, he is very confident that
not only will he play, but he is going to
play week one, despite this little issue with the contract
and trying.
Speaker 4 (24:01):
To get a long term deal done.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
He was asked about the status of Jamar Chase as
they approached the season coming up in a week and
a half.
Speaker 10 (24:07):
Yeah, he's he's a great you know, Sam Jamal mused too,
and the plan will be continue to practice with them.
Speaker 4 (24:13):
Zach, I think my zoom may have cut out. Did
you say the plan is for Jamar to be ready
for week one?
Speaker 3 (24:18):
Yeah, he's going to practice this week and we'll just
keep taking it from there.
Speaker 5 (24:22):
Are you competent he'll play week one? Yes? All right.
Speaker 1 (24:25):
So that is the update on Jamar Chase and the
Cincinnati Bengals.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
He's confident he's going to play.
Speaker 1 (24:31):
I did see Jamar Chase said that he expects to
be in Cincinnati for a very long time and that
he's had, you know, some people there kind of go
over how contract negotiations work. So it's just just going
to turn into he misses almost all of training camp
and then he just rolls out Week one or is
somebody going to step up to the plate and hold
(24:52):
out and turn this into a real issue so that
they can get paid and put their team in a
bad spot in the regular So.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
He was holding in anyway, right, he was at practices.
He just wasn't practicing. He's there, he's been there. So
on the the.
Speaker 1 (25:07):
Five point four whatever million he's making this year, that
he's just going to roll out there and play on
that and then hopefully gets a deal done after the season.
Speaker 6 (25:16):
Yeah, I mean, what other recourse does he have?
Speaker 8 (25:19):
I mean, he can he can sit out or hold out,
as you're saying, which typically you're you're not gonna be there,
You're gonna have to be away from the team, you're
gonna be subject to fines, all of that, and and hopefully,
you know, maybe a few games go by and the
Bengals realize, man, we really need this guy. We have
to find a way of somehow making this work. That's
(25:41):
that's one option. But it's going to hurt your team,
It's might hurt your reputation or brand at least in
that market, and doesn't really necessarily lead anywhere. I mean,
we've seen holdouts in the past, but they don't always
work out. We've seen Holdens too the same thing. It
doesn't matter what strategy you apply. I mean, he's he's
(26:01):
doing everything I think that they would hope that he
would do to not be a gigantic distraction.
Speaker 6 (26:07):
And I think that's one of the things.
Speaker 8 (26:08):
You know, you want to handle your business, but you
also don't want to be a detriment to everyone else
on the team the locker room, and I think holdouts
started to get a little bit of that stigma. And
I'm not sure when Holden's first became popular, but you're
seeing more and more for guys who don't want to
be subjective fines and worry about having to negotiate that
(26:28):
when they do come back and feel like, hey, look, I.
Speaker 6 (26:31):
Want to show that it's an act of good faith.
Speaker 8 (26:33):
I'm here around the team, but at the end of
the day, I still want a new deal. I want
to try to figure out a way of making this work.
So you know, I don't think he's the guy that's
going to end up holding out.
Speaker 6 (26:47):
And the reason is is he's young too.
Speaker 8 (26:49):
In this league, it's hard to do that when you're
on your rookie deal and it's got your your first
chance at all this. If you're Trent Williams's different story.
You've been around the block man, different story there.
Speaker 3 (27:04):
I'll just say this, and looking at the Jamar Chase situation,
he can't be happy that this is where the situation
is because he has played very well and while they
have so many talented players at at the receiver's position,
I mean, and then they lost one, right, So Pickens,
(27:27):
Pickens is or Simmons.
Speaker 5 (27:29):
Who's coming back? Who's coming back? Higgins? Higgins is coming?
But they just lost one, right?
Speaker 4 (27:34):
Who Tyler?
Speaker 5 (27:36):
They lost Boyd?
Speaker 3 (27:37):
Right, So going into this year, you're you're down one.
There's two left ones on the tag and one wants
to get a deal done. And the one that wants
to get a deal done is in the conversation for
best receiver.
Speaker 5 (27:54):
In the league.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
What there, you'd say, there's two to three guys that
may be on everybody's top receivers list, and I believe
Jamar Chase is one of those names on top receivers list.
Now he's going into what year four, right, He's going
in the year four. I just think that if I'm
(28:15):
Jamar Chase, for one, I know I have to I
have to participate I know I gotta participate because I
haven't made that much money. If I'm really being honest
about it, I really haven't made that much money to
actually be sitting here acting as though I'm gonna sit
(28:35):
out the season or I'm gonna sit out until I
get my pay.
Speaker 5 (28:40):
I'm not.
Speaker 3 (28:40):
I'm not taking that chance. For one, financially, I'm not
taking that chance. Secondly, I'm not gonna take the chance
that Joe Burrow could create a different bond with with
Tyler Boyd or is it Boyd that's coming back? Now
Boyd left? Who's the boy left? Who's coming back? What's hiss?
Speaker 5 (29:00):
Higgins? Higgins.
Speaker 3 (29:02):
I just don't want to risk somebody else stepping in
and becoming a main guy, a main focus for this
team and for this offense moving into the regular season,
because in a way it could play against them, and
Joe Burrow is good enough to make someone else look
that good.
Speaker 5 (29:23):
So I just think that there are.
Speaker 3 (29:25):
Elements that are playing against Jamar Chase, and it's no
shade against Jamar Chase, but the best the best decision
for him, and and honestly speaking, I think he's handled
it pretty pretty pretty nice, like it's nicely done. You're
there even though you're not practicing. I'm letting it be
made known that I want this new contract and I
(29:47):
deserve it. I've I've played for it. We've had this conversation.
I still say, you signed your contract, but he's outperformed.
If we really want to say, what's the definition of
outperforming a contract, Jamar Chase has outperformed his contract. So
if you're not going to give him a new contract,
he's still there. He's still participating with the meetings, he's
there with his teammates. I think he's handled it like
(30:10):
almost the best way that you can handle a situation
like this. But it's interesting because Ceedee Lamb didn't handle
it the way Jamar Chase handled it, and he ends
up getting a contract.
Speaker 1 (30:20):
I was gonna but like Ceedee Lamb, it wasn't like
Brandon Ayuk set the standard this offseason when he was
talking about wanting to go to different teams and like
doing these zoom calls and talking to Jaden Daniels saying
the Niners don't want me, and Ceedee Lamb just disappeared
and went to Mango deck and then you know, got
ended up getting paid and Jamar Chase Yay, You're right,
(30:41):
he hasn't really, there hasn't been any sort of friction,
any sort of issue.
Speaker 6 (30:46):
That's been the same way with Brendan Ayuk. He's been
a holding and they haven't gotten anywhere.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
Yeah, but he's also been a little bit you know,
disgruntled and openly about it, you know, spoken openly several times.
Speaker 5 (30:57):
About yeah it was.
Speaker 3 (31:00):
Let me ask you, this is Ayuk as highly touted,
I would not say and again, Brandon Ayuk fine player,
I would not put him in the conversation with the
upper echellonce like top three, top three or four receivers.
Speaker 4 (31:17):
Can we run with that on Twitter?
Speaker 5 (31:18):
Where is that bad?
Speaker 4 (31:20):
And get that out of asap?
Speaker 5 (31:21):
Just top ten receiver? Sure that you're going to bury three?
Top five? Is Brandon Ayuka top five receiver is on
his team? Yes? No, No, that's not in the league.
In the league he is.
Speaker 3 (31:38):
All I know is I don't think that Brandon Ayuk is.
And I'm just listen. I'm just giving because it sounds
like I'm throwing shade out. I don't want to seem
like I'm throwing shade. I don't want to sound like
I'm hating but Brandon Ayuk is not as important to
San Francisco as Jamar Chase is to Cincinnati Bengals.
Speaker 8 (31:59):
That's that's a fair statement. And you know, Jonas can
you know, say whatever, But that's a fair statement. I
mean the forty And then think about the setup too.
It's not like the Bengals drafted a first round wide
receiver to replace Jamar Chase. Ricky Piersoll is a late
first round pick by the forty nine ers. He was
(32:19):
He's drafted to eventually replace and become that guy. Otherwise
you don't take him in that spot. So the writing
is on the wall in that regard. I think that's
why the forty nine ers are probably letting this thing
play out until they get what they want, either in
trade compensation or Brendan Ayuk on a contract that fits
what they're looking for with under the cap, knowing they're
(32:41):
going to have to extend brock Perty, you know, knowing
they're going to have to extend a number of pieces
and still have to do the Trent Williams deal figure
out how to make that work within the cap structure.
So I think the the forty nine is already telling
you how they feel about the situation.
Speaker 4 (32:57):
I mean, you guys love to talk, I know that.
Speaker 3 (33:00):
But which is interesting because I mean, I mean, you
feel like the Cincinnati Bengals are doing the same exact
thing with Jamar Chase.
Speaker 8 (33:10):
I just think they don't have the money. Sorry, man,
Like I think they're gonna have to get another sponsorships
or something in another year working that out.
Speaker 6 (33:20):
It's just the reality of it. It's different.
Speaker 8 (33:23):
Different teams like not to get on a huge like
big picture discussion. But you know, there's all this stuff
about the college football world and trying to create parody,
trying and it's like, man, we act like there's parody
in the NFL just because there's a salary cap, but
there's not. Like the richer owners are able to do
(33:44):
more with their roster or do more every single year
by paying more cash. The teams that don't have as
much cash, they can't. I mean the Pittsburgh Steelers, for example,
they won't do it. They won't structure the kind of
contract that would have been enticed Brendan I Yuke to
go there. I mean, reportedly, whatever they offered, he went
(34:04):
back to the table to San Francisco. Now maybe you'd say, well,
that's just leverage. That's what they're using. But we know
this from their history. I mean, how many guys have
set a signing bonus record like we saw with the
Dallas Cowboys and Ceedee Lamb most our highest signing boatis
we've ever seen a wide receiver get you know, how
many are resetting the market for that position when they
get that, they're usually not And that's just how they
(34:27):
do business. It doesn't make it right, wrong, or indifferent.
But to act like there's parody, there's not parody. Some
oters have a lot more cash than others and they
use it. They spend it when they want to.
Speaker 4 (34:37):

Take a listen, can not call me Dad in the workplace?
All right?
Speaker 10 (36:13):
Once we once we leave out of the private facility
and the gates closed, I could.
Speaker 5 (36:18):
Be Dad again in the car we ride together at home.
Speaker 6 (36:20):
I could be Dad.
Speaker 10 (36:21):
No, he gotta call me like two three or bron okay,
or you know, go if he wants to.
Speaker 6 (36:29):
That's up to him. I mean up to him.
Speaker 4 (36:33):
What's wrong that? What's your problem?
Speaker 5 (36:38):
He is a goat.
Speaker 6 (36:39):
He's a goat.
Speaker 5 (36:43):
Or the go He's a goat.
Speaker 6 (36:46):
I was gonna say, hey, Jordan's no.
Speaker 8 (36:47):
Yeah, did Jordan ever talk about himself like that?
Speaker 5 (36:51):
I mean, yeah, Lee, I don't.
Speaker 6 (36:54):
Ever remember Michael Jordan acting like that.
Speaker 4 (36:57):
I don't think he needed to.
Speaker 6 (36:59):
And that's the reality of it.
Speaker 5 (37:01):
I'll goat.
Speaker 8 (37:04):
I can only imagine Petros by the way, how this
is going to work out for Petros.
Speaker 6 (37:09):
We we need to bring this back when.
Speaker 4 (37:12):
That is a great idea. Just to Tim Off at
five in the morning Pacific.
Speaker 12 (37:18):
What do you mean call me Dad? You can call
me two three or hu man, Like, hey, what.
Speaker 4 (37:31):
Else we got?
Speaker 5 (37:32):
Lee?
Speaker 4 (37:33):
Guys.
Speaker 11 (37:33):
In case you missed this, one hundred and three NFL
players were recently pulled a number of questions, but one
of them being who's the most overrated quarterback in the NFL.
Eight different quarterbacks got at least six votes, But who
came in first?
Speaker 4 (37:47):
Josh Allen?
Speaker 6 (37:47):
Josh Allen?
Speaker 4 (37:50):
Why do players even partake in this crap?
Speaker 10 (37:52):
Like?
Speaker 4 (37:52):
Why why even give this any fuel?
Speaker 6 (37:54):
Who puts it on?
Speaker 10 (37:55):
Lee?
Speaker 5 (37:56):
ESPN puts this up?
Speaker 6 (37:57):
Of course, there you go. They feel like Mickey Mouse
will come get them if they don't.
Speaker 3 (38:02):
You know, damn gosh, honest got the shadey?
Speaker 5 (38:07):
Who came a second?
Speaker 11 (38:08):
Jalen Hurts in Tua tied for second with ten votes apiece.
Speaker 6 (38:14):
Think about how many teams?
Speaker 8 (38:15):
Think about how many teams by the way, we won
Josh Allen to be their quarterback? Is that everyone basically
besides Kansas City and maybe Houston, Uh, Cincinnati.
Speaker 5 (38:30):
The Jets definitely, No, you think Cincinnati.
Speaker 6 (38:32):
Cincinnati is probably other.
Speaker 1 (38:33):
Than they wouldn't what you can't leave the Jets alone?
Speaker 5 (38:39):
I would agree with you.
Speaker 6 (38:42):
The Jets is what you're saying.
Speaker 3 (38:43):
You said everybody but what Kansas City and Texans.
Speaker 6 (38:48):
And we said Cincinnati and Cincinnati.
Speaker 5 (38:51):
That's that's cool.
Speaker 8 (38:55):
If you had a if you had a Josh Allen
that's younger and you've got a lot more runway, they
probably choose to have that instead.
Speaker 5 (39:01):
Yeah, how much runway does Aaron Rodgers have? Damn zero?
Two or three years? Zero cheese,
