This is up on Game Happy Saturday to everybody out there.
Got allowed to get to We'll have cuffs the Legends
coming on an hour two. But you know what this
first hour is all about. We're gonna talk on football
and well we got some big topics to get into. Yeah,
I'm gonna talk about it. Listen before we get going. Obviously,

(01:08):
you guys know we got to always check in, see
how we're feeling, see how we're doing. Plexico is out
this weekend. As you can tell, we have been kind
of rotating in and out and you know, checking our
kids out during the weekend. So we appreciate you guys
always being dialed in. Even if it's two of us
out of the three, it's always going to be two
of us out of the three, and.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
The second one outside of myself, it's t J.

Speaker 6 (01:34):
Hutchman's out of today, you get TJ instead of stretch
plexes out.

Speaker 3 (01:38):
How you feeling, man, how's everything going.

Speaker 7 (01:41):
I'm feeling good, but as you know, I'm really not good.
I love Rainy this rain bro Yeah all day. Yes,
we had we had a playoff game high school last night.
Rain all day.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
We won, Bro. Nice.

Speaker 7 (02:00):
It was obviously we were the underdog. We played Sierra Canyon.
Sierra Kenyon was undefeated, top five in the country. They
kind of dominated the first half, moved the ball up
and down the field, but they only had three points.
We blocked the field goal, quarterback threw two picks inside
the five, and the second half we came out and

(02:23):
scored and I think once we got up because they
had never been down all season, and so yeah, out
of it. Yeah, I think they kind of panicked a
little bit and we our defense is it loaded, Bro,
We got our defense. We don't have a weakness on
our defense. We have a I mean, our D line
probably averages two to sixty our D line. Wow wow,

(02:46):
And so yeah, yeah, it was good. Went played in
the ring, got back home. I was a popsicle and
wake up and it's uh, looks like we're in the
Pacific Northwest right now.

Speaker 4 (02:58):
It looks it looks like had of outside.

Speaker 6 (03:03):
Uh speaking of rain outside and precipitation. Man, it's some
interesting stuff going on in Philadelphia. I want us to
really really lean in on this because I feel like
there's some bigger, bigger discussions connected to it. We had
some sound from uh, from James Jones, and we'll get
to that in a moment, but let's start at the

(03:23):
top and let's kind of just refresh the listener's minds
on the frustrations of the team as it applies to
what's going on with the disappearance of AJ Brown within
the Eagles office.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
So here's what A. J. Brown had to say. First,
let's hear what he had to say sounding.

Speaker 8 (03:40):
Off, everything me good, though, like like you know what
I'm saying everything the straight, you know what I'm saying,
mental good, kids good, what I'm saying quite good, everything,
Like I still got saying check out.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
You know what I'm saying. You know what I'm saying,
yeah yeah, yeah, yeah yeah everything else no everything click
trust show how you mean I mean yeah, struggling.

Speaker 6 (04:21):
So he was on the live stream with one of
the homeboys and if you heard the bleep, if you
were listening, the loud voice was not AJ that was
his homeboy that AJ Brown was the one that said,
is you know they bleeped it out? But he's like, look,
it's an S show, Like what do you mean? And
S you know obviously you know, stuff being on the
ground that's left there, a boy, your dog, that type

(04:41):
of S show, right, Uh, And then he talks about no,
I'm not all right. So then he was pressed about
it and said, you know, he wasn't he wasn't going
to apologize about it. But but let's hear what his
teammates had to say. Jill Well more specifically, it's quarterback.
What Jalen Hurts had to say because of he's disappeared,
because Jalen Hurts isn't finding him.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
Here's what Jalen Hurts I had to say about it got.

Speaker 4 (05:05):
The Detroit lines.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
So I'm I'm gonna definitely put a halt to that.

Speaker 6 (05:09):
I think the more we drive that, the more of
a distraction it becomes.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
And I think ultimately it's about the group.

Speaker 6 (05:17):
Which is interesting because he's basically saying, I don't want
to address the AJ Brown situation because it is a
distraction that well isn't necessary and it's not needed. We
got to focus in on the games. But it is
nonetheless it is a topic because well, his production is
way down. Well, then coach then cat wind of it.

(05:41):
Here's what coach Nick Sirianni had to say about it.

Speaker 9 (05:44):
Close to being done answering these questions with us, Like,
he's working hard and he is a big part of
this game plan and it'll be a big part of
the game plan going forward.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
TJ.

Speaker 6 (06:00):
Listen, You're a receiver, so I can only go off
of my you know, recollections of how receivers handle things
in the past and what felt good, what didn't feel good,
And one thing that didn't feel good to receivers was
when they did not get the ball. AJ Brown is

(06:23):
not getting the ball. AJ Brown's statistics look horrible. What's
your like, what's your take on on whole scenario? Because
we're gonna we're going to get James Jones's take on
it too, which I find to be pretty intriguing. I
want to kind of jump on that as well, but
just initially, what you know, what's your take on it?

Speaker 3 (06:47):
Man?

Speaker 7 (06:48):
Listen, man, like this would annoys me, This really annoys me.
Anytime or receiver says anything about not getting the ball,
he's a diva. He's bad for the team, like all
these idiots that talk on TV, and all of them
aren't idiots, but they sure act like one when it
comes when this topic is broached. It really, you put

(07:11):
yourself in this position and you have a job to do,
but they're not letting you do your job. They're not
giving you an opportunity to do your job. And your
job is based on how well you do your job,
how well you get paid. Would you not be upset?
Absolutely everybody that's listening to what I just said would

(07:31):
be upset if your pay was based upon what you did,
but your job wasn't allowing you to do things to
make more pay, make more money. They don't throw him
the ball, And what are they going to say to
him next year or when his guaranteed money runs that, Well,
you're not producing at the level that you know, we thought,

(07:54):
so you need to take a pay cut? Are we
going to release you? That's what they're gonna do. That's
number one. Number two is the Eagles are winning, and
so it's a slippery slope. Because football is an ultimate
team game. We need all eleven doing their job to win.
I just have a feeling that when the Eagles really

(08:16):
need aj Brown, because you're not just gonna be able
to hold teams under ten points and run the ball
when needed at all times, they're gonna need them a
lot of Rams game.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
What happened to Rams game? They needed them?

Speaker 7 (08:29):
He said, all right, I could be mister backpack man,
y'all get my backpack. I'll bring y'all home, And that's
what he did. But there's gonna be a point in
time where the frustration may get the most of them
and he don't make the play, then everybody has something
to say, or he's just not really locked in mentally,
and so he can't play the way he wants to

(08:51):
play because of his frustration. I just have a hard
time with things of that nature, Like, yeah, Jayden hurts,
it is about winning. One agree with you, But you
got to get your best players the ball. Bro you
got to get your best player as the ball. Stop
making excuses, get your best players the ball.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
Off.

Speaker 7 (09:10):
As a coordinator, Kevin Patulo, I've said this before, your
first ten sat Kwan Barkley four to five touches. AJ
Brown two to three balls where he knows I'm the
first read and I might be the only read. And
then other two to three Davonte Smith. Those are three

(09:31):
guys that you need to get the ball to your
first ten every single game because as a receiver Saturday night,
when we go over our first ten plays, when I
know you're trying to get me the ball, even if
it doesn't come to me, I'm good because I know
you've tried. I know you're looking to get me the ball.

(09:52):
All that dropped me off my fantasy team. That goes
out the window because I know you're giving an effort
to get me the ball. They can't be on that
because if they were. Aj Brown wouldn't be doing and
saying what he's doing. I feel him. I agree with
him because he really not even talking crazy. He just

(10:12):
stating how he feels. And when they really need him
and they go to him and it don't happen. Now,
they're all the experts. See look, look he was crying
for the boy and now they do it. It's just
the frustration and the build up year after year after year.
AJ Brown is a very good player and they making

(10:33):
him look very pedestrian.

Speaker 3 (10:35):
Mm.

Speaker 6 (10:36):
Wow, uh, there's there's a lot to this and and
and listen, my I feel as though there has to
be the conversation. That's why we're going to take it
into the next segment. And and hear what James Jones
had to say, because he had a different perspective on it.
From a lot of people, it does seem as though

(10:58):
every single time A. J. Brown comes out and speaks
on his frustrations of what's taking place with with his
touches and with with his targets, it just becomes this big,
overblown story in the media where it's more about, like
you said, kind of coming at AJ Brown but not

(11:22):
necessarily addressing or looking at like the origin of why
profits the way that, Yeah, the way he feels.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
So.

Speaker 6 (11:31):
But it's interesting because I feel like, in this scenario,
they are going to need to have a J. Brown
is probably the number two best player on their offense
behind Saquan and then we could go to Smith from
there and then Jalen Hurts. Jalen Hurts is in top
three in my estimate. Okay, Lane Johnson. So the point

(11:53):
is is that you're not Patrick Mahomes in this offense
right where people may try to compare well, just about winning,
it's about being a piece.

Speaker 3 (12:02):
No, it's not just about being a piece.

Speaker 6 (12:03):
If you're a if you're a major piece, if you
are one, like you are the one a to Sakwon
Barkley being the one in terms of first you know,
first weapon, first option. There's no way that you should
not be targeted until late in a game. It's just
no way that that should happen. But I will say this,

(12:24):
if you throw some of the original Louisiana hot sauce
on it, maybe it'll take a little taste a little better,
you know what I mean. It'll give it a little
bit of balance because it is a little spicy. Maybe
they break it up for you. You could also use it
on wings, nachos, burgers, you can hit any tailgate food
up with it.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
When you're talking about.

Speaker 6 (12:40):
The games, watching the games, yeah, make sure you use
some Louisiana hotso some hot sauce. Make sure you balue
some Look, we're gonna take a quick break on the
other side or break. You're gonna hear what James Jones
had to say. And basically this now becomes a conversation
of is there someone to blame in this scenario because

(13:00):
this is a team that is winning, So it's hard
to say, how do you blame a team that's winning?
But is that winning wrapped in maybe false false success.
We're gonna talk about that. We're gonna touch on all that.
You're listening up on game. It's CJ. Hutchman's out of

I am convinced that these referees is trying to get
Indiana to number one for some reason. I know I've
been seeing a lot of miscalls in their games, man,
but I'll just say recorded one.

Speaker 7 (15:23):
Hey LeVar, once this season is off with, let's revisit
the Indiana theme.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
Man.

Speaker 4 (15:27):
I had a little birdie tell.

Speaker 7 (15:28):
Me something, Man, Indiana, they may be getting a really
good player to come on in next year. Man, I
mean one little birdie then told me that man like a.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
Little birdie talking about a big birdie coming in.

Speaker 7 (15:42):
Huh, Well, I mean he not a big birdie in
the world of college football. He was a big birdie
on his way into college football.

Speaker 6 (15:49):

Sports Radio on YouTube and subscribe. Okay, let's continue this conversation.
Why because well, I feel like the Eagles are obviously

(16:32):
they should be considered to be the favorite in the NFC.
The NFC, I would assume there could be a couple
of teams that may be thrown out there. You know,
the NFC West seems to be whold and steady, but
we'll see how that all shakes up. The NFC North
has been pretty pretty interesting, and well Dallas and New
York and Washington have been underwhelming in the East. So

(16:56):
it's a big conversation as to who is going to
be the representation of the NFC once we get going
into the playoff season of what's going on? But TJ
I mean listen, I mean, AJ Brown can playing is
one thing, but is there a possibility that there's a

(17:17):
bigger issue that could end up showing itself as the
season wears on and as you get to the playoffs.
Here's what Greg Jones had to say his take on
the AJ Brown situation and conversation.

Speaker 4 (17:30):
I was not AJ Brown when I played.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
AJ Brown is way better than me.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
When I came out of a game and I would
have two catches, Aaron would look at me and say,
I got you.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
Next week, here go ten eleven catches.

Speaker 5 (17:44):
That's James Jones.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
That's not hard.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
You can't sit here and tell me he's the vocal
point and they trying to get him the ball and
they dowlling up.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
Stuff for him and it hurts. Is not through. You
can't tell me that they're not.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
AJ Brown does not see a target in game sometime
in the fourth quarter, Like, how does that? How does
that make sense? And how can we sit up here
and listen to people say they.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
Try to get him involved.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
And there's plenty of games over not over this season,
over the last two years of AJ Brown not getting
opportunities to the third fourth quarter is when he sees
his first target.

Speaker 6 (18:20):
I don't hear any lies on what he said. Bro,
is is this Who's the blame? Is it the offensive coordinator?

Speaker 3 (18:26):
Is it? Is it Jalen Hurts?

Speaker 6 (18:29):
Who who is it to blame for this lack of
execution and getting your top number one receiver involved in
the games dude.

Speaker 4 (18:43):
That's basically what I just said, isn't it not?

Speaker 3 (18:46):
Yeah? I mean yeah, dude.

Speaker 7 (18:47):
So so if you we're gonna put blame in somebody,
it always got to start to the head coach, because
the head coach needs to go to the guy that's
calling the players, who we believe is Kevin Puttulo. They say, hey,
we gotta get our best players involved early and often.

Speaker 4 (19:05):
But this is the thing when you're winning, Winning cures
and solves everything.

Speaker 6 (19:08):
Right, Okay, So now less less address that then, because
maybe that was what I really wanted to address.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Does is this team able.

Speaker 6 (19:16):
To sustain the success that they're having or is it
fools goal if?

Speaker 3 (19:21):
Because it's not just it's.

Speaker 6 (19:22):
Not just Aj Brown that's down and getting the ball.
It's Saquon Barkley as well. I mean, he's his numbers
are down now. This last game against the Packers it
went up to twenty two, but his carries are largely
in part they're down this season from what.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
They were last year, and his production is way, I mean,
super super way down.

Speaker 6 (19:48):
I mean he's only had one hundred yard one one
hundred plus yard game this season, and he hasn't really
come close to cracking one hundred yards and other games.
So Saquon Barkley is not playing or producing at the
level he was a season ago as well. How do
you you know, how do you make sense of this?

Speaker 3 (20:12):
Dude?

Speaker 7 (20:14):
The Eagles. Let me just say this, that general manager,
Howie Bro, that dude the truth man. Okay, the Eagles.
The Eagles have a super team. Bro, They have a
super team, so it don't matter. Then, huh, dude, it
doesn't matter. They're just better than everybody else. They the

(20:37):
Eagles are run better than every team in the National
Football League. Everybody should be studying. How are they doing this?
How can we copy and paste the blueprint of the
Philadelphia Eagles the way they draft developed, you guys.

Speaker 6 (20:53):
Will win and your quarterback not be franchise got your
franchise running back doesn't have to be the franchise guy.
Just look at the receiver. Doesn't have to be the receiver.

Speaker 4 (21:04):
Look at the moves they make. Okay.

Speaker 7 (21:06):
Jalen Phillips one of the best young pass rushers in
the league. The Dolphins aren't gonna pay him. They gonna say, okay,
we'll come in swooping. Look at the impact he made.
Look at the impac he just made. He may not
be Eagle next year, but he gonna make a hell
of an impact this year.

Speaker 4 (21:23):
Right.

Speaker 7 (21:23):
Why did the rest of the league let the Eagles
get Jaalen Phillips? Why, Like, I just they just do
a really good job. And how they get a Brown?
How they can aj Brown they traded for Tennessee, like
they draft Cooper Guine and Quinya Mitchell. They just do
a really good job and they pay the right players,

(21:46):
and they pay him early, and so you you you
gotta get him their credit for doing what they're doing.

Speaker 6 (21:53):
But at some point, Hassan ready and not the name,
they just let him go, like they just they just
want to go and they just let him go.

Speaker 7 (22:01):
They let him go because they they're drafting guys. If
you're gonna complain, they're drafting guys that may not give
you the exact production, but they're gonna give you enough.
And so they move on from guys. And have we
heard of Hassan Reddick since he left Eagles?

Speaker 3 (22:17):
No? Has he played, Yes, he had played.

Speaker 7 (22:20):
Obviously he went to the Jets heldu because theydn't give
a contract. I believe he's with the Cardinals now, but
he's not doing anything.

Speaker 6 (22:27):
Yeah, I haven't heard his name. I wouldn't even known
he was with the Cardinals, to be honest, and he
disappeared after that. And so I don't think it's anybody's fault.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
It's not a fault.

Speaker 4 (22:38):
It's just it's the system that's on me.

Speaker 7 (22:41):
I kind of went off into praising everybody instead of
addressing a question that you asked. And there's always has
to be Uh, somebody has to take the blame for this,
because what.

Speaker 6 (22:52):
If something goes wrong, because nothing's going wrong.

Speaker 7 (22:54):
Right, nothing's wrong, But you're gonna even we assume, right,
do we assume eventually they're gonna need him LeVar?

Speaker 6 (23:01):
So it goes against everything that that.

Speaker 7 (23:04):
Let's see, they have a tough game tomorrow. They have
a tough game tomorrow. They have a tough game against
the Detroit line. Detroit lines are kind of banged up defensively,
so it looks kind of tough on paper. But Laporta
on offense is banged up. But they got some guys
that's gonna miss the game, Carrie, Carrie Joseph.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
Their safety is gonna miss the game.

Speaker 7 (23:22):
So you're not playing a fully healthy Detroit Lions team,
so it may not show up tomorrow, but you're gonna
need them. Like Jalen Hurts, come on, bro, Like, I
get it. You the quarterback, You're saying all the right things.
It's about winning. Like, come on, man, Is that is that.

Speaker 6 (23:40):
The right from your perspective as a former receiver. No,
it's that the right thing to say. Knowing that, to me,
I would want to maintain the confidence of you guys
versus like making it seem like like you know, you
need to be quiet, and it's about LeVar versus one person.

Speaker 7 (23:55):
Jalen Hurts might be the most politically correct quarterback in
the league. Him and that Prescott they always say the
right and do the right things right. All Jaylen Hurts
I say was this, Man, I want Aj Brown to
be involved. I got to make sure he's getting the ball.
That's on me. I gotta get him his targets. This
is one hundred percent on me. And still finish it

(24:17):
with and still finish it with. But we always got
to remember winning is the main goal. But yeah, that's
on me. I got to get Aj Brown to ball
that that's unacceptable.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
Why wouldn't he say that?

Speaker 6 (24:29):
Because I think a lot of people That's the first
thing people thought about when if they heard this and
are paying attention to this, why wouldn't you just.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
Say that because at some point you're just tired of
hearing it.

Speaker 7 (24:42):
If you're Jalen Hurts, and I don't think he's ever
said that, and he probably has.

Speaker 4 (24:48):
He's just tired of hearing it.

Speaker 7 (24:49):
Man, you're tired of answering questions about AJ Brown, AJ
this that that you you're tired of hearing it, but
they're going to need them. And and I just point
back man to my own experience because it was like
AJ Brown, Nah, but I was I thought I was
pretty good.

Speaker 3 (25:05):
I led the league.

Speaker 4 (25:06):
So if you leave the league in anything, you was
doing something right.

Speaker 7 (25:10):
I'll say this my last playoff game when I was
playing for the Ravens. We played the Steelers and I
felt like I was open, not all like I just
felt like I was open on certain instances they weren't
throwing me the ball.

Speaker 3 (25:25):
And so every receiver has felt I went to.

Speaker 4 (25:29):
The sideline, I'm like, I'm open, like I'm open, but I'm.

Speaker 7 (25:32):
Yelling out just out loud, out loud, just venting it
in my frustration, right, And it was a second down
and I literally was wide open. I think they must
have dropped the coverage and he didn't throw it to me.
It's our last drive, basically third down. I think he
went to an KWin. Fourth down, he throws me the ball.

(25:53):
I don't catch it, and I was open and I
was open. I don't catch it, and I believe that
was the first time in my life that I had
ever dropped a ball when it mattered ever in my life.
Like I mean, I was my first or second year
with the Bengals and they throwing me the ball on

(26:14):
fourth down and I come down with it. First time.
I had never not made the play when it was needed.
But I wasn't in the right mindset because that had
never happened to me. Like, if you throw me that
ball one hundred times, I'm catching it ninety nine. The
one time I didn't was because I wasn't locked.

Speaker 4 (26:33):
In on want it.

Speaker 7 (26:33):
I needed to be locked in on and so I
wasn't on social media at the time. Obviously we all
know that, but I probably would have. I probably wouldn't
like the way things are when you don't play well,
Like if aj Brown doesn't play well, he's gonna hear
it from each everybody on social media that can't do

(26:55):
half of what he can do.

Speaker 3 (26:57):
You suck you this, you this, you this like.

Speaker 7 (27:00):
We gotta be careful with that also because at the
end of the day, every we all human, We we
all you. You cut me, I'm ana bleed and it's
gonna hurt you say things about me. I may act
like I don't care, but it's gonna bother you somewhat,
and so we we gotta be careful about that also
as just being compassionate towards on them. We play a

(27:23):
kid's game for a king ransom. But yeah, man LeVar
Jalen hurts, he should respond differently in these press conferences,
and ultimately, bro, let's be honest. I like Nick Sirianna.
People don't like Nick Sirianni. You just don't win at
the rate he's winning that without being a head coach.
But sometimes you got to step in and put your
foot down and say this is what we need now,

(27:45):
we don't have to we need to do this.

Speaker 3 (27:48):
Mm hmm, I I agree. You gotta.

Speaker 6 (27:51):
You gotta make sure he's getting his his ball, getting
it fat to him, the you know, the proper amount
of times even if you miss him, like like James Jonesy,
like you're alluding to even if you miss or you can't,
you can't, like coverage just isn't allowing for it.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
At least I know you're looking.

Speaker 6 (28:08):
I know it's the call, and it gets me, you know,
mentally and emotionally, like it keeps me involved and keeps
me locked into like you mean what you said.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
When that moment comes, I am.

Speaker 6 (28:20):
Going to catch that ball because I am dialed in
and I do realize what's going on and me getting
the ball right here in this moment, I'm gonna catch
it because I see how the coverages are whatever it
may be, but it's the confidence that everybody's on the
same page. So it'll be interesting to see how it
all plays out. Because right now, again they're winning. So
when you say blame, like there's like people probably sitting

(28:41):
there like what's there to blame about their winning? Like
AJ Brown needs to shut up and play football and
not worry about things if the team is winning. A
lot of the reason why they might be having the
successes that they're having is because they're working so hard
to shut down guys like Saquan and AJ Brown and
it's allowing for other guys to have better seasons based
around what the defenses are trying to do to neutralize

(29:03):
the success of the offense. But I still say, you
got to figure out how to get Saquon running, and
you got to figure out how to get aj Brown
the ball. That's the formula that got you out to
the Super Bowl, uh and one because I felt like
they were missing that element with Saquon. They get Saquon,
it balanced out how they were able to run the ball.
And some would say, man, they might have been okay

(29:23):
with with the backfield that they had prior to Saquon
getting there. They've been able to replace the production and
get it at a high level, had a rate. Man,
I don't know. I just I feel like it might
catch up to them at the wrong time exactly time.
That's the only problem with all of this is you're
looking at it like they're winning and they how he

(29:46):
is the man?

Speaker 3 (29:46):
And how do I get he?

Speaker 7 (29:51):
He he been on fire for for the last four
five years.

Speaker 3 (29:56):
Away he's team.

Speaker 6 (29:57):
He's been handling it for certain, But does that come
back to haunt you if you got those one of
those guys that he's brought in there to be the
difference maker two of them. In fact, you know, you
just don't hear Saquon complaining, But I mean that's a
far far.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
Oh come on, man, come on man, you're.

Speaker 6 (30:16):
You're you're right there at breaking the record last year
and now you only have one game over one hundred yards.
Like of course, he's got to be frustrated. So you
got two of your best players on that side of
the ball frustrated, and the possibilities of you being able
to have success as this season wears on without those two,
in particular, being who they need to be, I think

(30:36):
I think that's a hard that's a hard one to
convince me of that you can do it without your
big guns. But hey, we'll see how it all plays out,
and the beauty of it is we'll be here to
talk about it. And you know what else is great?
Louisiana Hot sauce. Yeah, that's right. Make sure you check
out there. Peppery Pepper's vinegar and salt mixture for wings, nachos, burgers,

(30:57):
and the original Louisiana Hot sauce flavor that you'll love.
Make sure you get you some Louisiana Hot bag. You
some let's get an update from Ilo, and then we're
going to touch on Phil Belichick. He made a decision.
We'll talk about in a couple of seconds. What you got, Ilo.

Speaker 5 (31:12):
You know, I love you guys, but you understated it.

Speaker 3 (31:15):
Uh oh.

Speaker 10 (31:16):
Two thousand and seven NFL receptions leaders number one, our
very own TJ. Huschmanzada with one hundred and twelve. Take that,
Reggie Wayne one oh four. Yay, Larry Fitzgerald, did you
even bother just one hundred? Tony Gonzalez ninety nine?

Speaker 3 (31:37):
A tight end?

Speaker 10 (31:38):
Come on, I mean, what are the what are those
guys doing? And you smoked Randy Moss by fourteen? He
just had ninety eight.

Speaker 3 (31:46):
Hey, mat TJ. Hush Manzado, tell you that's right. In
the receiving world.

Speaker 5 (31:51):
We gotta spread the word. Of course.

Speaker 10 (31:55):
Of course, if they hadn't gone seventeen and oh maybe
he would have had to catch a few more passes. Anyway,
we just want to emphasize the dominance of our very
own TJ. Huschmanzada in two thousand and seven. And with that,
the college football day is upon us. Number two, Indiana
leading Wisconsin seven to nothing three and a half in
the second quarter out a thirty one yard touchdown pass

(32:16):
from Fernando Mendoza to Charlie Becker. How about this South
Carolina a ten to three lead at number three Texas
A and M with four and a half minutes left
in the first quarter.

Speaker 11 (32:28):
Here's how Lenora steps up in the pocket going down
the field for Jacobs. You can't even get touchdown Carolina touchdown,
great Jacobs, that shut him? Oh my goodness, fifty yards
stevenm oh yeah.

Speaker 10 (32:44):
Anyway, elsewhere, Number nine Notre Dame as a fourteen to
nothing lead over twenty second ranked pit with five point
forty left in the first quarter by scoring two touchdowns
in ten sections. Here was the first on WSBD.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
Love the bat gets Carrie Starter, steps in the.

Speaker 12 (33:00):
Hold out, spans across the fifty.

Speaker 5 (33:02):
Now he's on the move, over.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
The forty thirty twenty ten.

Speaker 12 (33:06):
He's gonna go the way to the house. Hits another
highlight reel run for Jeremiah Love.

Speaker 5 (33:13):
Fifty six short.

Speaker 12 (33:15):
Touchdown and it takes your breath away.

Speaker 10 (33:18):
Is seventeenth of the season to lead the nation. And
then mikes Ha's.

Speaker 4 (33:22):
Got the ball.

Speaker 12 (33:22):
Frozener Nath picked off the Nick Dail.

Speaker 3 (33:24):
Mintercept by under name, It's gonna.

Speaker 12 (33:26):
Be a pick sex across the twenty ten five touchdown,
Tay Shotson take tit home thirteen to nothing. Dore dame
on Ben took back place. The Irish are in the enisode.

Speaker 10 (33:41):
At Wrigleyfield, Chicago. Number eighteen Michigan and Northwestern are scoreless
with one twenty left in the first quarter. Navy out
to a thirteen to three lead over number twenty four
South Florida after one. ESPN reported earlier today former Penn
State head coach James Franklin in the early stages of
talks with Virginia Tech. In the NBA, the New Orleans

(34:02):
Pelicans today fired head coach Willie Green after a two
and ten start.

Speaker 5 (34:06):
Guys, back to you, No, man.

Speaker 3 (34:07):
They didn't got rid of Willie. Why they get rid
of Willie? Hello?

Speaker 5 (34:12):
Why Willie deserves better?

Speaker 3 (34:14):
Dang?

Speaker 6 (34:15):
All right, Well, speaking of deserving better, I know I
wanted to talk about Bill Belichick, and I know we're
up against a break, but we're going to scratch that tease.
I generally play payoff teases, but I saw what you
sent over. Bow go ahead, get give us. I thought
we put a bow on it, but just I want
a real quick reaction from TJ before we go to
break what you got. Yeah, athletic put it out.

Speaker 13 (34:37):
Yeah, two things real quick, just to prove your points.
Hasan Reddick started his career in Arizona. He is on
the Buccaneers right now, but he's not doing anything. So
you guys were correct that. Yeah, yeah, invisible. And then
this morning Diana Rasini of the Athletics. She reported that
multiple offensive players in the Eagles building have grown frustrated
with the Jalen Hurts his approach this season, particularly against

(34:57):
zone coverage. They believe he's become hesitant and tight window,
leaning on checkdowns or scrambles instead of trusting what's open downfield.

Speaker 3 (35:04):
Wow, and you see that.

Speaker 7 (35:07):
You see that in games where you'll watch you're rewinded
and be like, oh, he's open. But the thing is,
is he hesitant tight windows. I'm sure he is because
you're not letting the ball go. But they're winning, right,
and so it's only a problem until it becomes a
problem when you start losing. When you have a defense

(35:27):
that good, you can become hesitant tight windows because they
gonna they're covering up.

Speaker 6 (35:33):
The host making the right decisions, not necessarily what the
feelings of his players and teammates on the unit around
him may be taking or feeling or frustrated with.

Speaker 7 (35:43):
I don't know if you can call that the right decision,
because when you put up, when you call a play, LeVar,
it's okay. If we get seeing the high defense that's
covered three or cover one, this, we want to work.

Speaker 3 (35:54):
This side of the field.

Speaker 7 (35:55):
If we get too high, cover four, cover two, cover six,
whatever it may be, we want to work this side.
Nobody really plays two man anymore because of the mobile quarterback,
and so you trust your playmakers to get open. If
they're not getting open, you can't throw the ball with anticipation,
But if they are getting open, you let that thing
go with anticipation because you know they gonna be where

(36:17):
they need to be. And if you're not doing that, guys,
we suck a little bit.

Speaker 4 (36:23):
It's just like, why am I here?

Speaker 7 (36:25):
I'm just running around or run around like you know
how much time and effort I put in in an
off season.

Speaker 4 (36:31):
You know how much running I'm doing.

Speaker 7 (36:33):
I'm killing myself to perform during the season, and I
don't even get a chance to perform. I'm trying to
perform seventeen weeks out the year, and I may get
two performances, like come on.

Speaker 3 (36:47):
Man, well, I'll say this.

Speaker 6 (36:52):
I think that when you hear those types of leaks
and Diana Rassini, we all know it's probably a few
reliable sources. She's been in the game and she's built
a reputation on on those things. So where there's smoke,
there's fire, bro, And I just wonder, is there a

(37:13):
fire with the Eagles even though you're seeing them win.
That's to me, I feel like that's the biggest question.
And will it fall back on the feet and the
toes of Jalen Hurts and possibly Nick Sirianni. That's what
I'm interested to hear about. But hey, we'll change topics.
We'll talk about some other things I mentioned Ray Heem.

(37:34):
I did mention Bill Belichick too. Maybe we'll try to
squeeze that in so I could pay off the teas
in the next segment.

Speaker 3 (37:39):
But this is up on games.

Speaker 4 (37:40):
T J.

Speaker 6 (37:41):
Huchman Zada, I'm LeVar Arrington. This is Fox Sports Radio.
Will be right back listen. Everything just hits different after
a win. The football, the food tastes tastes great after
a great, great weekend games of football, the drinks are colder,
and the hot sauce, well, it better be the original
Louisiana hot sauce, because nothing brings the heat like that

(38:04):
Louisiana flavor. That bold handcraft to kick straight out of Louisiana.
It's a kick of peppery peppers, vinegar and salt, and
our Louisiana flavor masters. They've been blending this for almost
one hundred years. It'll turn every good meal into a
great meal, and every great meal into a party. On
your plate, wings, nachos, burgers, doesn't matter. You hit it

(38:27):
with the original Louisiana hot sauce, and after a Sunday win,
it suddenly is an unbeatable time like a touchdown. Dance
on your tongue, you know, and listen. If the team
didn't get the win, don't worry about it. Throw some
on anyway. It's going to make the loss easier.

Speaker 3 (38:43):
That's right.

Speaker 6 (38:44):
We'll call it a victory formation for your taste budgs,
even if your team didn't get the victory. All right,
the original Louisiana hot sauce. That's Louisiana hot by you
some all right, Welcome back into the show.

Speaker 3 (38:58):
Yeah, what's up on games? T J.

(39:46):
so it will always pop up at the top of
your screen when you log in. All right, So, TJ,
we got a couple minutes, but I wanted to touch
on Bill Belichick pulling his name from the hat to
interview possibly for the New York Giants job. What's your
take on that? Super quick?

Speaker 7 (40:08):
I don't believe anybody's hiring Bill Belichick in the National Football.

Speaker 3 (40:12):
League to be their head coach.

Speaker 7 (40:13):
So you pull your hat because you know you're not
gonna be in consideration.

Speaker 6 (40:18):
Right, I agree, Yeah, I agree. I think it's a simple, simple,
uh simple deal. And I think that that that's accurate.
He's a little over look at the Patriots. Now, look
at the Patriots last year. I mean just look, just look, yeah.

Speaker 7 (40:34):
Like like they're they're one of the best teams, are
super Bowl contenders.

Speaker 3 (40:39):
Bro, there they are.

Speaker 4 (40:42):
They're looking last year they like it's man, Tom, that was.

Speaker 6 (40:48):
The team he left behind, right, like take over the
team that Bill Belichick left back pretty much.

Speaker 7 (40:55):
And again I'm sorry not last year because yes, you're male.

Speaker 6 (40:58):
Was the head coach year, but what you had to
see what he had to deal with with what was
left there by Belichick.

Speaker 7 (41:05):
So I mean, you know it is what Bill Belichick
is a hell of a football coach. Best defensive coach
the National Football League has ever seen to make an
adjustments taken away what you want to do best. But
Tom Brady with Bill Belichick had Bill Belichick looking like
this dude was on another level than everybody else. Bill

(41:29):
Belichick without Tom Brady is a very good defensive coach.
But he's just like all the other coaches that are
just really really good coaches. I'm good, but like Tom
Brady masked a lot of his flaws. Bill Belichick really
helped Brady out early in his career, and then I
think Brady just carried the rest of the way he carried.

Speaker 6 (41:51):
Maybe that's what it was, and maybe the thrill is gone.
But hey, you know, he pulled his name from out
of the hat. I wonder if he pulled it out
of that had to think about going back ever to
the NFL.

Speaker 7 (42:02):
He put feelers out Labar, you know, he put feelers out.
Word got back to whoever represents him and his people
that the Giants weren't interested, so he removed his name
for consideration.

Speaker 4 (42:14):
Right, That's all that is that, that's very simple days.

Speaker 6 (42:19):
We didn't have time to get to the Raheem Morris
bit this segment, but we're gonna do it, you know why,
because we got a whole nother hour to go and
in the next hour we got Cuffs the legend coming
in as well.

Speaker 3 (42:30):
He could talk a little football.

Speaker 6 (42:31):
We're gonna see how he handles that, right, because Raheem Morris, well,
he was not happy about something that you know went
out there. I have to tell you, like AI and
social and all this stuff, it's getting so crazy nowadays.
You don't know what's real, what isn't real, what's coming
your way, how it's being taken into context, just a
lot of stuff to go to it. We're going to

(42:52):
discuss it. You're listening to up on Game this hour one.
Hope you really enjoyed this first hour. There's a lot
of good stuff that TJ was hitting y'all with, and
we're going to hit you with more an hour two.
So make sure you stay locked in this Fox Sports
Radio up on Game.

Speaker 3 (43:05):
We'll be right back

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
