Wherever you are making us a part of your Monday morning,
we appreciate you doing so. We're gonna take you all
the way up through the end of the hour here.
And we've been talking obviously week one aftermath in the NFL.
We told you were gonna play a little bit of grabass.
(00:48):
It's absolutely happened. But um, you know, for people that
are that are waking up now, people on the West Coast,
people that are getting their Mondays started, people listening on
the Blowtorch Am five seven at the l A Sports Uh,
they're probably feeling pretty good about themselves because not yet
both their teams, the Chargers got a big win in Washington.
(01:09):
Probably gotta talk about the sewage problem. You got there,
LaVar at some point, but the sewage problem get there
and watching at some point. Uh. And then um, the
l A. Rams gave the Chicago Bears that work. Gave
him a beating last night on Sunday Night football. Uh.
And so the Matt Stafford experiment, it's off to a
(01:30):
pretty good start there. Brady Quinn, bye bye, Jared Goff,
Matt Stafford is in and the Rams are want to
know Yeah, I mean, look, he threw for three and
thirty eight yards, three touchdowns. I think it had an interception.
Oh wait, now that was Jared Goff stats and they're okay,
So so Stafford, he was a little more efficient, right,
but he threw for three yards three three touchdowns. Look
(01:52):
look kind of kind of similar. Like I gotta be
honest with you. Everyone is making a huge deal about it.
Go I can watch the touchdown passes and watch some
of that game. Are you telling me Jared Goff couldn't
have done that, especially against Eddie Jackson. I must say
this at Cooper Cup at one point was twenty yards
behind the closest Chicago Bears defensive back. That that's a
(02:15):
layup like, I don't know that he did anything that
Jared Goff couldn't have done. And I think there's a
lot of people who hammer on Goff and miss all
this stuff about him. I'll say this much. I saw
Jared Goff do what Matt Stafford has essentially been trying
to do in Detroit with less of a supporting cast
around him, as far as bringing them back within a
(02:38):
potential shot of making that happen yesterday verse of San
Francisco Forts. So I'm just saying, I'm really curious to
see how this whole thing pans out, because everyone's gonna
make a big deal about this. I thought Jared Goff
would have done the same exact thing as Matt Stafford
in that game. There are so many layups out there
to be had. I think he's gonna win on style points.
(02:59):
Matthew Stafford. I think that you could look at performances
and you can compare the stat lines and say, you
know what, Jared Goff could have done the same things.
I just think when you were looking at Matt Stafford
in that game, you know, at least for me, I
was one I was breaking down what was his demeanor
like what was his confidence like, what was his command
(03:20):
and his control like? And it I will say this,
the energy looked different. It looked different like with with Goff.
It's just like more it seemed like a more subtle,
subdued approach to to being a quarterback and and and
being the leader of the team, whereas Stafford is more
(03:42):
I think, more outgoing. It's a more outgoing feeling to it.
And then as you're watching him in the game, it
was it was quicker, Like I've I felt like it.
It was moving quicker with Matthew Stafford Like I don't
know why. Um, maybe it's just my rationale love it,
but I thought Matthew Stafford fit the mold perfectly for
(04:05):
for what McVeigh is looking for and what he believes
can take his team to the next level. I was
concerned about the running game. I did not think that
the running game was I mean, it was as expected
in my opinion, I didn't think it was that good
or was going to be that good, just based off
of the current circumstances there. It wasn't horrible. I mean
(04:26):
it helped at times. They got an end zone with
a run and and got some tough yards but I
think that that's gonna be what may be be what
catches up to them as they move forward. You're going
to have to make them respect the run um because
there's gonna be some pretty good defenses that are coming after.
Uh Stafford, not the defense. The defense look good in
(04:48):
my opinion as well. I mean, they they were moving around,
they were flying around. I just thought it as a
whole the team looked faster than what I saw them
look last year, and especially at the quarterbacks position. There's
definitely a stadium. Yeah, that had to play a party,
even though you probably did. Seem like there's a fair
amount of Chicago Bears fans yea, they always travel well.
They like seeing their team get their asses beat in public.
(05:10):
A lot. That may be the case, but I feel
like there's a lot of teams that travel well to
l A. That I'm just saying. It was like, at
one point, what kind of comedy Stafford they were driving
and I was like, why is there so much noise?
I was like, Oh, it's because Chicago. It's it's l A.
Chicago Bears fans travel well, but every away team travels well.
I'm just saying, like the reality is like that's your
(05:31):
home opener. And you have that many Bears fans who
are rooting against the l A. Rams. That was surprising.
And to get a break from Chicago and come to
a place like l A. Yeah, I don't know that
the mass Man date it's any different. Yeah, I don't
know about the mask Man day, but it certainly is
a different type of scenery, you know what I mean.
(05:53):
I don't know what you're saying. I'm not sleeping on Chicago.
Oh no, I'm not. That's different. What architecture is amazing.
There's a lot of great things there that are amazing.
It serves its purpose. You could wear, you know, nice
heavy jackets, put all the clothes and stuff like that.
It's not it's not even fall there yet. It's still
(06:16):
it's cool enough in Chicago's enough. Look here, my man
off there. You gotta make sure you'll prepare for the
cool because the hot comes suping in in Chicago. But
when you come out here on the West, on the
left coast, man, you know, it's just it's a different vibe.
Can little vacation from from the rigors of Chicago. I
(06:39):
would like to defend h Jared Gopp as well too,
I'd also like to defend Andy Dalton. That game last
night was not on Andy Dalton. That's the easy thing.
That's the go to. People are gonna say the Bear
secondary look terrible. I mean it looks terrible. And Eddie Jackson,
like the one touchdown they didn't they didn't touch that guy.
He just got up and ran in um Brady run
(07:01):
up Cooper Cup. He was, you know, twenty yards passed.
Whoever was supposed to, you know, play deep safety there like,
they looked awful. So this whole well, you know you
gotta put justin fields and he's a solution. Well, I
mean unless he's Deshaun Watson playing scout team safety and practice,
I don't think that's gonna help. So that the Bears
looked defense from now here at you guys, because I
(07:22):
would love to get your opinions. We had a real
spirited comment, what's wrong with my man? What is wrong
with you? Bro? Let me throw this one out because
I'm interested. I'm interested to hear what you gotta say
(07:44):
on this one. Brady. We saw some guys play and
some teams play out of sync. They were not on
time with one another day, were not on the same
wave length, and we had the discussion about this new
wave of how we approached the preseason, and we were
talking about how Hackey sacking in the first hour I
(08:05):
believe on Aaron Rodgers and some of these other guys
that that came out and they didn't play as well
as they could have played. Do you now look, do
coaches do gms? Do organizations do even media? Do you
now start to look at the preseason and say, if
you're going to have a preseason, then use the preseason
(08:28):
to make sure that guys like you think about Kansas
City they used Patrick Mahomes. If they didn't use Patrick
Mahomes to get some of that timing down in the preseason,
I don't know that they're able to climb out of
that hole and win that game this early in the year.
Some of these guys just did not look as though
they were prepared to play football on Week one, and
(08:50):
we all know that that's generally the bugs you work
out during the preseason. I'll answer by saying this, I
mean week once, Week one, there's crazy stuff happens. Teams
that win that that For example, Jacksonville last year, that
was the only one of the season they won a
Week one, they never won the next fifteen games. So
(09:11):
they're they're they're tied for the top the FC South
and now is it. But that's that's what happens. Like
a lot of times that that kind of happens with
Week one, you get some weird outcomes like I'm not
down the Bills. I think they're still gonna be a
good football team, or the Browns for that matter. Um,
but look the l A for example, l A Rams
don't play their starters in preseason. I mean they looked fine.
(09:31):
It looked like they were looked pretty good. So I
think you could find your fair share of those that played,
Like Jared Goff for example. They got to a slow start,
but they he looked good man when he got back
in there. Like, I don't know that there's a fan
base that's more optimistic after a loss than the Detroit
Lions fans. Considering it was forty one to seven with
(09:52):
one fifty six left in the game, forty one to
seventeen and they had the ball on I want to
say San Francisco's four with like a shot to tie it,
Like that is unbelievable. They could come back from that.
It granted on side kick all that. You can say
whatever you want, but he helped put them in a
position to win. And he was one of those guys
(10:12):
who did play a little bit and and oh uh,
do you know something moved pen As to a little
left tackle. Then all of a sudden like he seems
to be playing fine. No concerns about it. That seem
to work out. I just think weak ones. It's always
a tough time for teams to be able to find
their rhythm. I think even for coaches sometimes too, you know,
try to find their way. So the whole thing is, um,
(10:35):
I don't know. It's hard to tell anything. I think
based off Week one, it is outkicked. The coverage Here
on Fox Sports Radio, Jonas Knockslvar Arrington, Brady Quimm with
you here on fs are this is outkicked the coverage,
Aaron Rodgers. That restraint you appreciate, were you were you
(11:00):
was well done. It was well done, very mature. I
was ready to pounce on it. But you know, I
gotta be honest, I have no idea what the hell
Jodice talking about half that time? Thank you? There is
the weirdest thing is I kind of do it's kind
of creeping me out a little bit. Yeah, well we're
looking at the same TV so here it is. Uh
(11:21):
So Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers got blowtorched
by the New Orleans Saints in Jacksonville, and um, you know,
Aaron Rodgers afterwards it took some of the blame, but
not overly stressed out about what's happening this one game.
You know, we played bad. I played bad offensively, we
didn't execute very well. One game we got sixteen. Yeah,
(11:43):
and the next game is going to be against the
Detroit Lions. Um, laid the house on green Bay, right, Brady,
I mean, lay the house on green Bay. Get right? Game.
They're piste off. They got embarrassed, uh, and they're gonna
look to to exact some measure of revenge against the Lions.
I mean, I don't know what I'm saying that until
I see what the spread is. Um, green Bay did
(12:03):
nothing in that game to make you feel like this
is gonna be a season where they can make it
back to another NFC championship game. I mean again, I
know we just talked about Week one. Crazy stuff happens
all the time. A week one that we don't ever
see again the rest of the season. But it's a
divisional opponent. I thought the Lion showed a lot of fight.
Maybe they found something too there in the second half,
(12:24):
in particularly fourth quarter. I don't know, man, I'm just
I'm kind of curious to see what the Packers look
like versus the Lions. Uh. I might take the Lions.
Oh yeah and a half. You wouldn't take the Packers
(12:45):
of the Lions. Yeah, I'm gonna take the Packers. They're
gonna beat that. I mean, I don't know, man, because
the problem is san Fran, Like, who do you think
is a better team right now? San Fran of green
Bay today? Yeah? Say wait, san Fran didn't cover The
spread was nine. I'm just saying that's the problem is
Detroit's got the ability to be able to come back
(13:08):
in a game like that. But that's just because they're better,
doesn't mean that they're not going to get better results.
They're familiar with one another in this situation. In this situation,
I think green Bay is gonna lay the hammer on him.
I think so that was really bad yesterday. I hate
to do this. They're like the Browns in the a
f C North why would you do that. I mean,
I'm just saying I was a different brown perspective. Different
(13:31):
are some different browns. These are I think. I mean
they're only one again, but you know they are some
different browns. Don't even know what I mean, you know
what I mean? You know we're not talking about yeah,
just yeah, we're not. Yeah, leave that alone. Um. So
so then you know when you Hearon Rodgers tell everybody, oh,
you know, just it's it's only one game. We're gonna
(13:53):
be okay. Matt Lafleur talked about like Rogers still made
a couple of throws in that game that we're that
we're really in pppressive, but they just looked bad. The
defense looked bad, and New Orleans put him on him
and put it on him the entire game. Now, it
could be worse. Um, they could have been Zach Wilson
in the beating that Zach Wilson took yesterday. He took
(14:14):
a pounder in that game. And I don't know how
good Carolina is, you know, Yeah, so it's like kinda
I don't know. Did you guys see the graphic like
of the Carolina panther coming into the stadium and was
keeping up the New York Jets banner and then beat him. Yeah, yeah,
(14:37):
you know. I mean it's always one thing when you
talk to talk, but when you're able to walk it.
I mean, it's a big win for Carolina to get
out of the gates as fast as they did. It's
it's good for Sam Donald. Even though it wasn't like
a juggernaut of a day, it was still good to
get out of the gates and the blocks is as
quickly as they did to get a win. Um, I
(15:00):
think we're expecting the Jets. I think if you asked
the coach, the head coach, he'll tell you they're expecting
to struggle. I mean, there's no reason, there's no correlation
to me in terms of everything they've done this past
offseason that's going to lead to them being a super
ridiculously successful team because they they're pumping this team up
(15:25):
to act like they've got a shot. He's the second coming.
I don't get it. I mean, coming into the game,
I'm like, they're acting like they have a shot at
the super Bowl. I think they'll have a fine season.
I said, I think he'll have the best season out
of any rookie quarterback as this thing goes on. But
that doesn't mean that the entire team is going to
be good. I think that singularly he'll be good. I
(15:45):
don't think that collectively the Jets are going to be good.
I don't think anybody should expect them to know that
he's going to survive it. Like he got knocked down
ted times, sacks six times. That's that ghost, that's that
ghost in New York. New York Jets passed. But the
problem is, I think just watching him last year in colleges,
(16:06):
he held on the football forever and he could because
they played such a weak schedule. And so I do
wonder what portion of that is bad habits. I do
wonder with Beckton out, we don't know how long, but
now with him out, that's only gonna get worse. It's
not gonna get better. So I just there's a lot
of concerns about Zach Wilson. I know everyone's like really
high on him. I just think the situation circumstance he
(16:28):
is in is gonna be incredibly hard to overcome. And
I also felt like their offense had a hard time
getting into the rhythm. Re member, you got a first
first time play caller to first year play caller taking
over the reins, so that that's gonna play a factor
in all that as well. Well, look, he's exciting to watch.
I'll say that, I don't know how how many games
he's actually gonna last, especially if he gets protected like that,
(16:49):
but he's exciting to watch. And then you know, McKay
Beckton goes down with I think they're calling it an
mcl sprain is the last report I saw, So doesn't
seem like it's anything more serious us than that. I
just look, I mean we we we talked about this,
you know, just first debut, what you're feeling like afterwards,
And he was saying after the game, you know that
(17:11):
you know he feeling a little whiplashes necklace or I mean,
Brady Quinn as a quarterback, you your first NFL game,
you take a beating like that, How the hell do
you feel this? Because he's never probably never taken a
beating like that in college or anything close to it.
I mean the closest was what Coastal Carolina last year
when they played him on like two days notice, Like,
(17:32):
now he's in a real NFL game, takes a pounding,
they lose, the game. I mean, how the hell do
you think he's feeling right now? He's sore, man, I mean,
bottom line is he's sore, but everyone's sore today and
and he's gonna have to realize that that's gonna be
the life he's gonna live unless he can get rid
of the football faster and he's gonna be able to
(17:52):
figure out a way of getting better protection. It's also
on the coaching staff though, I mean, they've got to
realize they're gonna have to have more seven man protections
or do more five man protections and get the ball
out quick and not subject him to those hits and
run the football. So there's a lot of things that
I think are also on the coach's plates. They've got
to figure it a way if they're gonna have this.
(18:12):
I mean, they look, they drafted him, and they knew
he was he's smaller. He's a slender and smaller guy,
and so they have to realize that it's gonna be
hard for him to make it through six team more
games if he's gonna be keep getting hit like that.
That's just the reality of it. So they've got to
find a way of protecting him too. Since they made
this investment. I just don't know why they didn't. They
didn't sign In Fields, so it took Justin Fields. Sorry,
(18:36):
Why why didn't they sign a veteran co or Trey Lance,
somebody bigger, adorable. Yeah, I can create, create some space
until until something else better developed. Why why didn't they
sign a veteran a quarterback at some point? Like? Why
didn't they because they didn't want to deal with what's
going went on in New England. It is funny, like
I feel like Zach Wilson would have been better in
(18:57):
San Francisco. He would have been better in San Francisco.
You can just let you can just let Garoppolo do
what he's gonna do and let Zach like develop, and
then you throw somebody like Trey Lance, or you throw
Justin Fields into the scenario and you say let him,
let him rock and roll. I mean, Justin Fields got
in there, confident, cool, collected, made some place when he
(19:19):
got in there. I mean, I don't want to create
any type of conspiracy theory. I still think that Zack
Wilson is a fine quarterback. But I think the things
you laid out there, Brady, are things that you gotta
obviously take a look at and compete. I mean before
you know, man, he's not a big guy, and I
worry about him being able to survive now moving forward.
(19:40):
It's just it could be. It could be a rough season.
I can guarantee the spankings that his mom used to
give him when he was growing up, we're nowhere near
as bad as the spanking he got yesterday. He got smoked.
I mean, there is nothing to prepare him for for
what he's going to have to deal with as a
New York Jets quarterback. Yeah, that was that was a
off go. It is out kicked. The coverage here on
(20:02):
Fox Sports Radio, LaVar Arrington Jonas knocks Brady Quinn with
you here on FS are by the way, I think
we can, uh, we're kind of bearing the lead here.
Brown's Chiefs was the Brady Quinn ball because he did
play for Kansas City. You know, I'm just saying I
did have the Browns with the points there, so I
kind of kind of felt like that one was gonna
(20:22):
be close. Let's see you listen now, you know, like, yeah,
but your time with the Chiefs. I just wanted to
make sure people, you know, didn't dismiss this. You know,
this is the Brady Quinball Brown. I think most would.
It was an awful year. I mean, we had some terrible,
horrific things, but thank you, thank you for bringing that
to listen. Well, look, I haven't got your dead dog
in the show, Ladies and gentle that was coming to
(20:44):
something shout out, yeah, pe do you hear that? You
like what you hear? By the way, coming up fifteen
minutes from now, boss Hall, Yeah, you know, not for
a long time, coming up fifteen minutes from now, though,
somebody on this show is gonna have to answer for
something that happened. If somebody on this show is gonna
have to answer something that has happened yesterday. Now he
(21:06):
just died. That's all that happened. But don't worry, Brady.
Too soon, he'll continue too soon. Yeah, it's too soon
for super Yeah, okay, sorry, alright, awkward moment, Yeah, I
mean it's uncomfortable. But again, Brady likes to bring up
we miss your talk. Sure, do we miss your barking
smile and you're drooling mouth. Yeah you're you're sniffing and barking.
(21:29):
Yeah it is. But again, Paul's give me Paul. Don't worry, Brady,
I'll bring keep bringing it up. That's coming. Unfortunately I won't,
I mean Jonas, Jonas will voluntarily out of nowhere. Are
you going to get another one? No, you're just you're
too heartbroken one. We don't need no cats? Were all right?
(21:51):
So with that we now get into something we do
on this show called this How could you not get to?
These stories are the scraps? And for that we turn
it over to Danny g Our, executive producer, to find
out what the hell we've missed so far in the show. Well,
there's a cat in the news that Jonas can adopt.
(22:11):
If you guys seen this viral video, the biggest play
at the Miami Appalachian State Game Saturday night happened in
the stands drop Spectators banded together to save a feline.
Video from hard Rock Stadium in Miami shows the cat
dangling from an upper deck where it clung by its
claws to some type of fabric on the railing. At
(22:32):
least one person reached down trying to help, but the
cat took a long dive. Thankfully, it was caught by
fans who held a U. S flag as a makeshift
rescue tart. The flag belonged to season ticket holder Craig
Cromer and his wife. NBC Miami Thank you. Cromer, a
(22:52):
University of Miami facilities manager, told the TV station that
he and his wife untied the flag from the railing
when they saw the cat clinging above them. They were
trying to grab it from above and they couldn't reach it,
but they were scaring it downward. Cromer said, it hung
there for a little while with its two little front paws.
Then I was like, oh my god, it's coming. Multiple
(23:15):
videos that are shared online show the stadium full of
fans just going crazy over this whole ordeal. Chairs erupted
once the cat appeared to be safely rescued. I understand,
I sound like a late night story. I understand sounds
like I'm not going there. I'm not getting fired. I understand. Listen,
(23:41):
I understand the symbolism of the the American flag. I
get all that, the symbolism of it all. But look,
they dropped the cat, all right, the cat fell. Uh.
They could have they could have caught the cat in
the flag. They dropped it. So they're lucky that cat
is still, you know here to tell the story. I mean,
come on, man, if the flag didn't break the cats fall,
(24:02):
do you think he would have been toast on the concrete?
You know, you know nine lives like you do know
that cats always land on their feet. Did you know that? Yes,
it would have still landed on it. It might have been.
Hasn't anybody seen lethal weapon? Nobody was willing to jump
off that railing with the cat. You know you're gonna
be fine, you know, I mean, like I understand, like
(24:24):
just what yeah on lethal weapon when the guys someone
else jump off with the cat. So so it's not lonely,
you know, like you want to you don't want to
help it. If you really want to help it, you know,
somebody jumps, okay to jump a little kid. Come on,
let's talk a little kid. Let's go, you know, hand
in hand. They need to commit you and you know,
and adopt the cat. They don't have the same sewage problems, clearly.
(24:45):
Oh yeah, as a watch, don't worry account Yeah, don't look,
we will coming. That was probably tasting a rat when
you got it into that situation. Yeah, very good, very good.
Let's just be clear. Why would a cat be at
caught it with an American flag as a cat bounces
(25:08):
Offlet come out all right, guys. And finally, ahead of
tonight's game in Vegas, Mark Davis is having no trouble
adjusting to his new home there in LV. The Raiders
owner made a chunk of change at the slot machines
last week. TMZ Sports has pictures of him. They say,
we're told that the son of legendary owner Al Davis
(25:30):
shit up the Virgin Hotels in Sin City at the
start of last week to test his luck, posting up
at the Wheel of Fortune slots around eleven PM right
after Applebee's, As it turns out, sucks. He uh, he
pulled this Wheel of Fortune lever once and won eighteen
hundred dollars. But you forgot to say, he said before
(25:53):
he had to get at the Virgin Hotel and casino.
He did he get? Did he win in on a spin?
Because there's nothing more scinillating. I mean it was a spin.
Oh yeah. Listen, when you're when you're in Las Vegas
and you get the spin and it goes well, uh fortune, dude, dude,
(26:14):
do do and then you hit it and it spins.
There's nothing like it just saying it just sends a
rush through your body. Ever seen great man? I love
the Wheel of Fortune? Do you think that was his
first payment to kJ right, because I believe that was
the same day that he signed J Yeah, that was
a great signing bonus. By the way, eight hundred. He
(26:36):
must have been put Okay, what what what was he doing?
The dollar slots? The five dollars? What was he doing?
He doesn't say, what's the reasoning? If you have all
that money, what's the reasoning for doing dollar slots? I mean, honestly,
what are you have been putting five dollars at a time.
I'm just saying, what what What do you get out
of that? I don't know what you get out of
I don't trust slots, by the way, I don't know
(26:59):
they're really trust I don't. I don't like anything digital.
And you give those slots your money, I'm telling you
it's not coming back. It's not coming back. They're going
to give it to one. Although so that everybody keeps
trying that's have a bunch of germs to those slots
will make happy, but it's not. It's probably not gonna
(27:21):
be one. Here's the thing, here's a little trick for
anybody going to Vegas to watch the Raiders Ravens A
little trick for you if you go go play the
penny slots right, and then when when you hear the
word cocktails, you throw her like five bucks, five ten
bucks and that and and they will keep coming back.
(27:43):
But all you do is you put a twenty dollar
bill and the dollar slots and you minimum bet it
multiple lines. And by the time your twenty dollars is gone, drink. Yeah,
probably four or five beers. It's great, four or five
beers if you gotta go hard alcohol, so you get
your money's cause you figure if you go to a bar,
it's gonna cost you like twenty dollars for drink. If
(28:04):
you start going hard alcohol that early, you're you're gonna
like you haven't gone to Vegas with your boy, then yeah,
you got we gotta go. You gotta we gotta go
to Penn State too, because there's beer and long alas
you know, it's it's it's meat out on those streets
in college. It's real out there, bro, And you gotta
you gotta put a code on here, you put a
(28:24):
scully on. You gotta stay warm out here. It gets
real cold out here for a player. Now, hear you,
my mother, hear you. I'll take care of you like
I'm not going to Vegas with you. I'll tell you
that right now, because I'll end up climbing up the
side of the lux Are cong A, get nothing on, man, Jonas.
(28:45):
Can you get your assout here? Bready? Get him man alright,
trying trying to go eat. I can't hold him down.

(29:49):
to be back on the air tomorrow as we take
a look back at Monday night football in Las Vegas
Ravens Raiders. How don't you guys fired up about that game?
I don't know why. I'm really excited about it. It's
gonna be a lot of fun, man, just seeing that
stadium play out on national TV and prime time. It's
gonna be great. Man as the old Johnny Yeah, I
(30:09):
mean listen, you know they've had some high expectations and
every once in a while they flirt with meeting them.
Are you are you referring to the Raiders. The Raiders
they flirt with it. You know, they'll flirt with it
when they play against the Chiefs one time or even
be close in the second time, you know, and but
(30:31):
then they just I don't know, they have Yeah, you
got to you got to, man, Um. I think he
needs to get out on the fifty yard line to
night and hit him with Raider nights. Yeah, and apologizzle
little Bucky Larson. Let's to them. I mean, this is
like this is all cute and all from from the bar,
(30:54):
like this is like this is but let me tell
you what's actually happened. LaVar doesn't want to answer the
tough questions. Brady question is this, Um, why was your
former team Washington dealing with a sewage problem at the
game on Sunday? I mean Brady told me it was sewage,
So I actually never said that. It looks like drain pipe.
(31:18):
I don't think they put sewage pipes over top of
where people sit for the most stadiums, the most most games.
I've never seen sewage looks so clear, looks like rain
run hydrated, hydrated. I mean, you know, I just Noetheless,
it was no good. I mean, to be honest, it's bad.
It was ruining someone's viewing, viewing pleasure and enjoyment because
(31:40):
it was landing literally right over a seat section. I mean,
I was taught. So Eddie Garcia uh here, who is
normally on with us, he's been vacationing and him and
his wife actually went to the Washington game yesterday. Um,
and Eddie Garcia sent over a picture there was a
fan in attendance wearing a LaVar Arrington jear and and
(32:02):
so I asked ed I was plus six? Yeah, yeah,
this is this is by the way, did you know
five plus six is eleven? And then he goes, she
didn't know that. Yeah, I just yeah, I just want
you to be aware, dope. But now I did I
see it, La, I did. I did see um talking
(32:24):
to Eddie Garcia. This is how out of the loop
I am when it comes to Washington. I said, hey,
how's RFK Stadium? And he goes, yeah, He's like, yeah, RFK,
It's not RFK anymore, it's fed X Field. But I
wonder how long it's going to stay fed X. You know,
it wasn't one of the minority owners that just got
bought out that was trying to get Dan out of there.
A FedEx guy. I think so, Yeah, I think so.
(32:44):
I mean he owns a team like all by himself
now him and his wife. I believe. Yeah. Well, I mean, listen,
there's been some bad stadiums, like the Raiders playing at
O dot Co. That that dump which UM which I
think Brady used. It was the worst you ever been
to right, it was the worst. I think FedEx Field
probably now is the worst. In the end. Yeah, I'm
(33:07):
not gonna hold back. I'm sorry, LaVar, I don't. I
really don't have a dog in the fight, to be honest.
Hold on, you're tying to tell the fans, I got
beef if you mess saying the fans team in any way,
I have no beef. I would actually say I think
that the fans deserve better. The players have always deserved better,
the most loyal fans and you know some of them
(33:31):
are dying off. You know, it's just getting to the
point of where it's been that long. I mean, you
got to go back to what the late eighties, the
early nineties to to the glory days. Is just you
have to kill him off? What is this game of thrones?
It's just, you know, the fan base that the sons
and daughters of these die hard uh are former RS
(33:53):
now UM Washington football by the color and skins UM.
I think that I think that they've chose, they've chosen
different paths in terms of teams that they enjoy watching
and and want to be fans of. And it's it's
just not in d c W. You fix your they deserve.
(34:18):
By the way, it's not just that, it's it's the
location of the stadium. You know, you could walk right
out of that stadium and damn never get hit by
a semi there's like a major road that ghost right
thing set up for thank you, Like it is the
most dangerous stadium to try to get to. Human hacker,
have some sort of overpassed walkway something. How close was
(34:42):
your stadium to your practice facility, like any given place,
Like how close it was man Cleveland it wasn't close.
Burrion and Downtown isn't that close. Kansas City was right there. Denver,
it's not that close. I mean the stadiums Downtown, Valley,
South uh Um, Seattle the same thing. I mean, we're
(35:02):
an hour away. Really, there was no home field advantage
that we're called the Washington team. We don't practice that
we're live in Washington. We practice and live in northern Virginia.
And we played in land Over Maryland. We played like
we're we represented three two different states and one district.
So what do you so do you guys? You would
bust to the games, you would get to the draft,
(35:24):
you draft Jesus listen, you know it is what it is. Yeah,
it happens. What a car crash into a show. That's
all right. Listen. I thought, sorry, guys, I didn't you sorry.
I had to bring us down. Washington fans called
